Chapter Text
So ah, this is not an update, not YET.
I figured I'd tell you all so you don't worry or anything like that. I AM still writing but its going... extremely slow unfortunately. I've seem to have hit a bit of a writing block and I keep trying to write something or update anything at all but its really slow going, even for this series, which I love from the bottom of my heart or any of my stories. I even tried to go back to some of my old stuff from tumblr that was finished, to clean it up and post it instead but yeah, you can all see how far that has come.
But I haven't given up, I am still trying to write and I will get back to things. I almost have a chapter finished for this particular storyline actually but yeah, seems I really hit the writing wall for some reason though maybe the implosion over on tumblr explains some of it.
But yeah, I'm still here, still trying and I will return to my stories.
That said, here's a snippet from the chapter I'm working on, to apologize for being so slow
Tapping the display, Obi-Wan smiled kindly to the boy. “Because, your particular group of humans are intermingled with reptile blood,” He explained. “It explains your reflexes quite well and also your colder temperature, especially now.” Obi-Wan had actually heard of this before, though it was a rare inter-species thing that only occasionally happened.
Sometimes humanoids didn’t mix well enough that their children could survive gestation when mixed with something that wasn’t quite humanoid.
It was quite fascinating and Obi-Wan couldn’t help but wonder how far back the original reptile and humanoids had ended up bunking together and creating Din’s particular variation of humans.
“What?” Jango let out a surprised noise.
Understandable, Din after all looked completely human. No green blood like some of the plant related humanoids, no horns, no scales and no outwards indication of mixed ancestry.
Unable to help himself, Obi-Wan glanced at the man then looked away equally fast, hoping his smile didn’t drop or any color crossed his face at all as he looked to Din again. The boy looked surprised and very curious. “Reptilian ancestors at some point, mingled with humanoids and ergo, the creation of the brand of humanoid Din and his people in the general area of where he lived I would assume. His parents at the very least though I would also assume the rest of the village if not the entire planet.” Obi-Wan chuckled softly.
Sliding over to Din, Boba helped him down from the bed. “So he’s… fine?” Boba looked up at Obi-Wan, his eyes wide and imploring.
Stars, those eyes just made Obi-Wan feel soft, along with seeing the care Boba had for the other. The care they extended to each other. No wonder they ended up together in the future if they cared this much for each other.
