Chapter 4: Epilogue

Summary:

the new tattoos

Stede kind of freaked out, so Izzy started small and tattooed a heart on his left shoulder and signed it I. H. Edward placed a sunshine on his right pec and when Stede realized he had settled into the sensation, Ed added a moon and star to complete their throuple. 

Edward got Stede’s first unsteady marks, refilling some scales of the faded snake before inking a tiny heart into the hollow of his throat where the knot of the cravat often sat. Izzy added two flags to the ship on Ed’s chest, one with two tiny mermen and the other with sun, moon, and star. 

Izzy got collections of X s where Edward most loved to kiss him: across the nape of his neck, the dips of his hips, and just under his ears. Ever the determined motherfucker, Stede filled Izzy’s left thigh with the word ‘ beloved,’ inked over and over and over until his hand gave out. 

 

Everyone ended up with two bands of ink on their left ring finger. 

Notes:

yeah, the rose looks dead, but that’s not actually how plants work. No one actually knows if the rose will survive. Yet.
