“Hey, wait, slow down!” Kirishima pleaded with his best friend who was tugging him through the dorms like a ragdoll. “Seriously, what’s with you dude? You can’t just drag me around without even giving me any explanation.”
Katsuki’s briskly speed walking finally skidded to a stop right outside of Height Alliance as he let go of his awfully stubborn hold on the other boy’s sleeve. “In that case, let’s just go ahead and solve this shitty ass misunderstanding between us right at this very second.”
“Misunderstanding?” Kirishima repeated, tapping a finger against his chin as he went into deep thought, and Katsuki could practically see a lightbulb shining upon the redhead’s head moments later. “Oh, well, is this about the chocolates I gave you yesterday? I’m really sorry by the way… I don’t get why, but I could see how they made you upset to the point that you were crying so I sent you that playlist, and I- Shit man, are you okay -”
“Shut up, I don’t wanna get into this whole ‘Are you okay?’ spiel,” Katsuki hissed, pinning his friend down with a glare, jumping straight into the plan that he had more or less concocted. “I only need you to do this one thing for me.”
“What is it?”
Katsuki took a step forward, grabbing Kirishima firmly by the elbow as they locked gazes, and the air between them was suddenly seemingly a lot thicker. “Teach me how to fucking woo.”
His words left for no misunderstanding, but Kirishima was adorning that perplexed look on his once again, and Katsuki was now minutes away from tearing his own hair out of scalp out of pure frustration. “I’ve been doing all sorts of dumb shit to win you over. None of them worked, and they’ve only caused this misunderstanding to happen. It’s why you need to put me out of my damn misery already. Tell me straight to my face right now—-How do I fucking woo you ‘cuz I don’t wanna continue fucking things up like the whole damn lie about the chocolates being Giri choco when they’re made out of my feelings for you.”
He was fucking out of breath once he was done letting everything out, but he couldn’t even attempt to try collecting himself because Kirishima was smiling at him the most beautifully he had ever seen him, and it had singlehandedly managed to eradicate the last remnants of his breath away from his body.
“Well, rest assured, you don’t have to worry much since I do feel the same,” Kirishima affirmed, winding an arm around Katsuki’s shoulders, bumping their shoulders together so they were now nose to nose. “I’m crazily head over heels for you, and I want nothing more than to be with you as something more… as a couple maybe. But, ugh, I did mess up too with those chocolates! They were supposed to be Honmei choco until I took the unmanly route of changing plans at the last minute. I’m sorry about that, but I really never even thought you could see me in that sort of light which was how-”
“Enough with that yapping, I get it,” Katsuki sneered, though there wasn’t any heat in his words, ad he was smiling so unlike himself as he reached a finger up to flick Kirishima on his forehead. “But what I don’t get is why you’re not even answering my fuckin’ question—What can I possibly to woo you….more than I already fuckin’ had I mean?”
Kirishima’s vermillion eyelids were dilated when they flickered down to glance at the explosive boy’s pursed lips, and then they were rising back up again, accompanied by a confident smirk. “Kiss me.”
That was all the push Katsuki needed to take the plunge, already deciding it was his most favorite ‘advice’ he had ever gotten out from this whole ‘woo Kirishima Eijirou thing’.
Not to mention, with the way his crush was greedily sucking on his bottom lip, he could already tell that it was also by far the most effective, and Katsuki wouldn’t have it any other way.
