THE DAVI CLAN:
Davi D. Jones: Captain of the Flying Dutchman and Husband of Calypso.
Elizabeth/Lizzie: Daughter of Davi Jones and ancestor of the Portgas family.
Rocks/Davi D. Xebec: Descendant of main line, A tier bastard, Captain of the Rocks Pirates and undead menace.
Nico Eris: Wife of Xebec and mother of Teach, sister of Nico Oliva.
Morgan D. Mika: Daughter of Xebec, mother of Helena, deceased.
THE STRAW HAT PIRATES:
Monkey D. Luffy: One of our protagonists. Son of Dragon and Lily and grandson of Garp, Luffy is a cheerful, goodhearted, not very bright but utterly determined young man determined to become King of the Pirates. Befriending Whitebeard and his crew, Luffy is currently training and strengthening himself to be ready for the battles of the New World when a certain timer runs out.
Roanoro Zoro: Luffy's loyal swordsman and current student of Mihawk, Zoro seeks to become the World's Greatest Swordsman and to make his Captain King of the Pirates. Carries the spirit of his childhood rival Kuina with him, making for an awkward relationship with her identical stranger Tashigi.
Nami: Former thief and prisoner of the Arlong Pirates, now happily Luffy's navigator and treasurer. A sly and bold young woman with a desire for gold, Nami is training in Weatheria and with Whitey Bay to prepare for the New World.
Ussop: Expert marksman and son of Yassop, Ussop is a courageous young man who constantly fights his fears in order to achieve both his dream and his captain's. Currently training, having only paused briefly like the rest of his crew to join Luffy for the Merville Incident and Ryugu Kingdom unrest.
Sanji: Son of Zeff and brother of Reiju, Sanji is a loyal guy and a brilliant cook who holds deep emnity for his biological father Judge. Caught Big Mom's eye during the Emperor's Conference for his excellent cooking. Training with Ivankov and his Candies to get stronger.
Chopper: A reindeer doctor and current youngest member of the Straw Hat pirates, Chopper is a beloved companion who strangely fails to get a bounty worthy of his exploits. Training with some aid from Marco.
Princess Vivi: The princess of Alabasta. Was aided by Luffy to save her kingdom from Crocodile's plots, Vivi came to join her friends as a crewmember in earnest when her father Cobra chose to form a reformer alliance and challenge the World Government directly, in order to ensure her safety.
Nico Robin: The last survivor of Ohara and archaeologist of the Straw Hats, Robin went through a lot of tragedy before finding her home on board the Sunny. Unbeknownst to her, her mother Oliva and Teach's mother Eris were sisters, making the dangerous rising pirate captain her cousin.
Franky: A cyborg and a shipright who joined the Straw Hats when they raided Enies Lobby to rescue Robin, Franky is a brilliant mechanic and a loyal man to the core. Currently learning as much as he can about Vegapunk's technology to aid in his training.
Brook: Former member of the Rumbar Pirates and family to Laboon, Brook survived what should have been his death by eating the Revive-Revive fruit and was rescued from the Florian Triangle by Luffy, after which he joined his crew. Has a mysterious connection to Gunko.
THE CROSS GUILD:
Buggy the Clown: Former cabin boy of the Roger Pirates, Buggy is a man with a talent for falling upwards who decided to put that to good use upon discovering that Ace is the child of his adoptive parents Roger and Rouge. He formed the Cross Guild to collect pirates under his banner and make trouble for the World Government to provide Ace breathing room to get stronger and a force that could come to his aid if needed.
Dracule Mihawk: Former Warlord and Celestial Dragon, the son of Dracule Amadeo, Mihawk is the Greatest Swordsman in the world and a weary, lonely man who holds people at arms length due to trust issues and fear of being hurt again. Recently learned that his beloved fiance Tomoe did not actually betray him, but was always on his side, Mihawk has slightly opened up and has begun building a relationship with his son Alucard and started sparring in a friendly manner with Alber.
Crocodile: Former warlord and one of the three heads of the Cross Guild, Crocodile intends to build himself a new army and get revenge on the World Government for cloning him and intending to replace him. Regards his clone son Anubis as a 'cobbled together abomination'.
THE MISCARRIAGES OF JUSTCE/THE NEW ROCKS PIRATES:
'Winter's Death' Morgan D. Helena: Bounty: 2 billion. User of the Mythical Human-Human Fruit Model: Yuuki-Ona. The nineteen year old granddaughter of Xebec and former inmate of Impel Down, Helena is hellbent on avenging her mother on Onigumo and the Navy. Becoming the captain of The Nidhogg and her new allies, Helena wages a campaign of death and destruction against her former torturers.
'The Ghost of Flevance' Sir Kurze: Bounty: 400 million. An honorable and devoted man who developed unique precognative powers as a child. Tormented by visions of Flevance's destruction, Kurze investigated Amber Lead disease until he discovered the noble's cover up, at which point he was framed and thrown in Impel Down. Escaping during Luffy's breakout, Kurze swore himself to Helena, serving as her bodyguard and her helmsman.
'Merciless Magician' Crimson/Jack Conrad: Bounty: 230 million. Growing up part of an abolitionist ring called The Freedom Railway, Jack Conrad was a magician who used shows and other tricks as a cover for rescuing slaves, going on many particularly daring raids to save Mermaids. Kizaru arrested him on behest of the World Government, and Jack began going by Crimson in Impel Down in order to separate himself from his original ring while plotting revenge. Now serves as Helena's navigator and cook.
'Black Widow' Nighthawk/Elissa Asuno: Bounty: 270 million. A former flower seller, Elissa fell in love with Hyperion Island's Prince Prospero. Framed for his death after his spiteful father pushed him off a balcony, Nighthawk spent twenty years in Impel Down before being freed by Luffy's break in. Adopting Helena, she serves as her captain's ship guard and lookout.
'Valter the Moonstone'/Daemon: Bounty: 300 million. A painter with a heart condition and user of the Mist-Mist fruit who lived in the poor cluster of islands in the West Blue referred to as 'The Junkyard', Daemon was unfortunate enough to bear a superficial resemblance to the violent pirate Valter who died recently. Marine Kenji Mishima captured him and declared him Valter with no investigation whatsoever, sending Daemon to Impel Down. Upon breaking out, Daemon joined up with Helena and now serves as her communications officer.
Byojack World: Older brother of Brynndi World, Byojack is a gentle man and former adventurer who originally was a moderating influence on him. After his Byrnndi's death, Byojack was taken in by Helena and her crew and decided to remain with them in hopes of steering them away from his brother's fate. The group conscience.
Nidhogg: The former vessel of Davi D. Xebec and living ship, Nidhogg is an unusual spirit who was given a flesh body and other powers when Xebec brought her to life via some sort of ritual with Luna and the dark powers. A cheerful, loving and loyal child who's also unstable and deeply troubled due to the machinations of her first captain.
Ifrit: Nidhogg's 'brother' and child of Luna, an undead dragon who was 'built into' her ship body upon construction. Providing a good chunk of Nidhogg's firepower, Ifrit has been mostly dormant until recently, requiring some kind of sustinance to wake up fully...
Independant Pirates/Crews:
Shiki: Deceased. Former member of the Rocks Pirates and mastermind of the Beast King War. A vicious, prideful and murderous man, Shiki wanted to rule the world and made an alliance with Brynndi World in an effort to make that a reality... and dived into a desperate measure when that didn't seem to be enough.
Brynndi World: Deceased. A once good natured adventurer and user of the More-More fruit who was betrayed by his own crew due to the machinations of the World Government and imprisoned in Impel Down. One of the heavy hitters who escaped during Luffy's break in, Brynndi went on a vengeful rampage against the Navy that ended on the island where he fought Sengoku and Zephyr.
The Supernovas:
'Surgeon of Death' Trafalgar D. Water Law: A survivor of the Flevance massacre, brilliant strategist and highly competent doctor, Law poses himself as a grim and dangerous figure but possesses a heart of gold he shows regularly. Currently focusing his energy on two priorities – masterminding the downfall of Doflamingo and tracking down and slaying the former Flevance nobility alongside Helena and Kurze.
'Mad Monk' Urouge: A monk from the White-White sea above, Urouge has become focused on the steadily rising number of incidents involving The Ruin. Partnering up with X Drake, his desire is currently to gather information and currently traveling in parts unknown with his new companion to that end.
X Drake: A Navy sleeper agent masquerading as a pirate, X Drake lost all faith he had in the system and the World Government after the Day Justice Died. Following the Merville Incident and seeing Shiki's failed transformation, X-Drake went to Urouge in search of spiritual guidance, and partnered up with him in hopes of achieving the mysterious power of Conviction.
Hawkins: A mysterious man who's use of tarot cards and devil fruit give him the image of a sorcerer, Hawkins and his crew travel the ocean looking to become stronger and pursue the One Piece.
'Scratchman' Apoo: A mercurial and dangerous member of the Long-Arm tribe, Apoo set his sights on becoming King of the Pirates and sees the crumbling of the World Government as an opportunity to pursue it more boldly than ever.
Capone Bege: A former Mafia don turned pirate, Capone Bege seeks to eliminate the abusive mother of his beloved new wife Chiffon and joined her crew for this purpose. In the process of scheming this, he's taken an interest in Sanji and his connection to Germa.
THE BLACKBEARD PIRATES:
Marshal D. Teach aka Blackbeard: Son of Xebec, brother of Juno and Mika (though he never met the latter before her death) and uncle to Helena; Teach is a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates who betrayed them, killing Thatch and selling Ace to the World Government. Fleeing into the White-White sea when The Day Justice Died destroyed all his plans, Teach has recently returned and is rearming with a new plan to achieve his father's dreams, dual wielding the Dark-Dark fruit and the Wind-Wind logia fruit.
Aiko: Alber's childhood friend and survivor of the Lunarian Genocide. Aiko did not heal well from the massacre; traumatized and burning with resentment towards humanity and hatred of the World Government, Aiko became a follower of Luna – close enough to become one of her Dancers – and found the Quetzelcoatl fruit, before dipping into the dark power of the Ruin for one purpose; to obliterate his people's killers and resurrect his tribe, returning the lives that were stolen from them. Joined Teach when the man offered him friendship and aid in his quest.
Aylene: Technically not a crew member, but adjacent to them due to her circumstances. Aylene was Alber's first love, Aiko's twin sister, the mother of Maria and genetic mother to Rocinante II. Perished in Punk Hazard after goading Saturn into killing her to hide Maria's escape, Aylene was resurrected by her brother decades later and now seeks to reunite with her grown daughter and Alber.
Burgess: One of Teach's original crewmates, Burgess did not much like Aiko's addition to the crew, feeling threatened by his great strength and many powers. However, he now deeply fears him after seeing Aiko's Necromancer abilities and warning that he'll destroy him if pushed.
Doc Q: Teach's doctor, a scammer and a creepy old man who possesses a fruit that allows him to mess with his enemy's bodies.
Laffitte: One of Teach's original crewmembers and a former sheriff who was kicked from his position for being murderous. A brief reaction to Aiko's inquiry about love suggests that there is a driving force to him as well as selfish hedonism.
Van Auger: Teach's sniper and a coldblooded man who believes in fate. One of the wiser members of the crew, he was the first to both avoid antagonizing Aiko and to acknowledge the need to understand the powers both his captain and his new crewmate have turned to.
Shiryu: Former Warden of Impel Down and now a member of the Blackbeards, Shiryu is one of the stronger members outside of Aiko and Teach himself. His initial jockeying for power and position with the others was temporarily put on ice by his newfound fear of Aiko.
Devon: A messed up pirate with a streak of targeting women, Devon is one of the Level 6 prisoners freed by Teach who ended up joining his crew. Regarded by Aiko to be among the few competent ones along with Van Auger.
Sanjuan Wolf: Another recruit from Level Six of Impel Down, Sanjuan Wolf chose to join Teach to wreak havoc on the world and to get revenge on Whitebeard, who he sees as an enemy.
Vasco Shot: Another recruit from Level Six of Impel Down. Also seeking glory, power, self satisfaction and retribution against his 'enemies'.
