Summary
Izuku Midoriya’s father is a Hou-ou — a Japanese phoenix.
For some reason, this means yokai have a standing invitation to pester Izuku with their existence. Birds assemble choirs for his birthday. If there’s no cedar leaf under the welcome mat, the amazake babaa that lives two apartments over will be knocking on their door by evening. His yokai-purifying excursions get mistaken for vigilantism far too often.
(What’s going on with All Might? Is Principle Nedzu a yokai? Tokoyami, could you please get Dark Shadow to stop calling me ‘my Lord’?)

Summary
Izuku Midoriya just so happens to be the prince of the gods, as his father is Hisashi Shigaraki: All For One- the king of existance itself.
Izuku is quite obviously a god, which is why keeping it a secret is… to say it lightly, quite difficult. Can he really be a a good friend, as he struggles to keep his divinity and his royalty a secret? Can Izuku dethrone a king, his father, to have the revenge he so desires, all while keeping up with his homework and relationships?
And most importantly, can he be a hero, a hero like All Might, when deep down he knows that he is a liar?

Summary
Having grown up by the ocean, Ochako Uraraka supposed that she ought to have a fond appreciation for it, at the very least. Don’t get it twisted, she had a lovely childhood by the sea, and often looked back at her younger memories with a kind smile, but the ocean itself has always given her the heebie-jeebies (so to speak).

Denki knows full well that there’s never really been a question needed as to whether the mer exist. They ‘exist’ to humanity these days in the same way the true fae and titans do: in fossils and relics, and stories from an age when magic held the world carefully in its palms and instilled new wonders with every gentle whisper.
It’s not like magic is gone— far from it. But the creatures that breathed magic, bled it, held together by miracles and timelessness and enigma… well, they’re another story.
Which is why he’s having a hard time comprehending the visual feed from his sea rover.

“You really do think this is about you, don’t you?” Izuku had raised his voice to a shout by the time he rounded another corner in pursuit. “Do you even know what’s happening down there?”
The princess let out a harsh bark of a laugh. “Don’t tell me you’re going to spout some bullshit about me having a responsibility to my people,” they taunted. “I don’t even have the authority. My old hag saw to that.”
“Authority?” Izuku repeated, indignant. “Who needs authority when you’ve covered the nation in ice?”
The princess finally paused, sneer dropping, eyebrows pinched. “What.”
