So, when a huge shadow fell over him and the whole sky above was blocked out by a massive shape hovering over the park he was cutting through, his body went on alert, ready to react to whatever came next.
Admittedly, he was hoping for something more impressive to react to than a blindingly bright flash of light; but the speed with which he flinched and brought his hand up to shield his eyes was still easily in the top 1% of reaction times.
(OR, Katsuki gets abducted by an alien, and both of them end up with way more than what they would ever have expected.)

Chelli and her crew have been through a lot, whether meeting Steven Universe, a group of space pirates led by the willful Marika Kato, or coming across Korra, Asami, Lin, Tenzin, and others in Republic City. Tensions are growing, especially after what Chelli and Entrapta (known as Apta for short) overheard one recent night. This will all come out into the open after they meet an android woman named Rouge Redstar, helping her fight powerful war machines which shoot deadly lasers, causing fissures among the crew of the Darla Angel which cannot easily be mended, and changing all of their lives forever, especially those of Glimmer, Bow, Adora, and Catra.

I actually managed to dig up the original chapters of the manuscript I was working on for A Good Bit from way back when. Apparently, I hadn't intended it to be a continuation of Arthur and Ford's story, but rather a sidequel that accepted the ending in Mostly Harmless as canon and instead delved into the activities of Fenchurch and Zaphod during that time, revealing what they had gotten up to since last we saw them.
But, for similar reasons as I'm assuming Fenchurch disappeared in the first place, I just didn't know what to do with it once it reached a certain point. A story about Fenchurch and Zaphod is cute, but it's just kind of stuff happening. Also, it turns out it was Fenchurch who wakes up on Constructoria in this version, not Arthur, and I just remembered it wrong because she's wearing Arthur's robe. Still cute to see her interacting with things and living life as a galactic hitchhiker on her own, though.
Some of this might make it into my current canon version, or I might pick it up as its own thing. Who knows? Gary doesn't.
