Summary
They all say she'll forget, but Sammie was writing to remember.
Now that Samantha actually starts to forget, Cooper decides to write for her on the pages she left blank. He fills these pages with the memories of Samantha's last moments.
She tried so hard to remember her past, not to forget a thing. So, even if he decides to remove them from the memory book in the end, he writes them down for her; he can't just let her forget those last weeks they spend at the hospital. Especially when they turn out to be the last memories she'll ever have. -

“It’s a memory book.” Peeta begins. “Katniss will write down things about them, and if there aren’t any pictures, then I’ll draw them.” He says solemnly, and my hand caresses the corner of the page. I can remember Sid’s silver eyes gazing up into the stars. I bite the inside of my lower lip and look at Peeta.
“It’s a good idea.” I mumble. Ghosts of my past appear everywhere around me. Constantly, I remember. No, I don’t want anything to do with this book.Haymitch is introduced to the memory book. He feels conflicted.
