Hey, I'm lbswasp (which I pronounce 'Libs Wasp', but however you want to pronounce my name is fine 😊). I use she/her pronouns.
I've been kicking around in fandom spaces since the late 1990s. The first fanfic I ever read was a short piece from the perspective of the Cigarette Smoking Man thinking about Mulder and Scully's relationship and I had *no* idea what the hell it was. By mid-2000 I was neck deep in the Buffy fandom, and I never really recovered. From Buffy I shifted to Harry Potter, Torchwood, Glee, Supernatural, Check Please! and the Avengers. I never really wrote during this time, just read and devoured.
However, the plot bunny that would become The Tiniest First Year wouldn't leave me alone, so I wrote it up.
I thought that was pretty much going to be it, but then I actually got treated for my mental health issues and discovered that I could write again. And I wanted to write again. And I had ideas. And I've been here ever since.
My main fic is the Elegance Cannot Kill a Man series, a fucking giant Game of Thrones retelling featuring Sansa and Tyrion. I've also got a few Stranger Things fics posted, and I have several plot bunnies for some Harry Potter and Check Please stories which I am holding at bay until the next work in 'Elegance' is finished.
