Summary
After being touched by the Beacon on Eden Prime in 2183, Commander Jase Shepard (orphan and sole survivor) wakes up in an alternate reality where no one recognizes him, having lost everything, including Kaidan Alenko, the man he loves.
Commander Irimsaya Shepard (Spacer and sole survivor) realizes who she's found and helps her other self, giving him a home and a place to stay, including a family he's never had.
From then on, the two Shepards stick together, mastering the many obstacles life throws at them during the Reaper War (2186) and the years that follow.
Fifteen years later in 2202, old rivals and enemies are once again throwing the galaxy into shambles. Saya Shepard, Kaidan and Dan are forced to deal with their personal problems, while Jase's old and never fully healed wounds break open and bring him down.
