Work Text:

Ten years. Ten years in a steady and lovely relationship and Jin could say he was pretty satisfied. His husband was perfect in every way: a caring, attentive, lovable and intelligent man, with killer looks and, the most important thing, always a good companion, always interested in Seokjin’s life.

Maybe that was the ‘problem’, Namjoon was too perfect, even after years and years together they never had a huge fight or huge complications, he was everything Jin always wanted, which, obviously, could lead to a simply boring life.

It was Jin’s fault too, because he liked routine, he liked things his way. The kitchen should be always tidy, meals were served at the exactly time settled, wednesdays were reserved for game night and drinks, on fridays they would watch movies, sundays were for yoga on the living room and then a walk around the park. He liked organization, he liked planning weeks ahead. And oh, Namjoon was just too nice to follow whatever crazy routine Jin planned for them, without even questioning, that was the perfect husband right there.

But, that leads to another question: if Jin was bored, Namjoon must be bored out of his mind.

So, Jin decides they are in dire need of a change, maybe a small adventure, nothing too wild. Because, because he can’t take it and he knows and Namjoon knows.

It’s in one monday breakfast, when they’re sipping their tea - god forbid drink coffee, do you know what caffeine does to your blood pressure? - and eating their oatmeals, that Jin gets an idea:

“Joonie, my love.”

“Yes, dear?”

“How do you feel about camping?”

“What?” Namjoon answers, surprise on his eyes.

“Aww don’t make that face,” Jin says waving his hands, “I was thinking how it would be nice for us to go on a little adventure!”

Jin smiles, he tries to, but the sceptic look on his husband’s face makes him rethink what he had just said.

“Look, babe,” Namjoon stops for a moment, taking Jin’s hands on his own, “you hate nature, you hate bugs! I don’t even want to think about how you would get without a proper kitchen around and besides, we both know that the possibilities of a disaster are enormous.”

Both of them sigh, because Namjoon is right, of course he is.

“Yeah, forget about it.”

~*~

Another week later on a tuesday evening, when they’re both getting ready for bed Jin decides to try again:

“Joonie, sweetheart?”

And Namjoon is wearing the baby blue stripped pajamas that are a match with Jin’s pink ones, which only agrees to what he had been thinking lately: they’re really a boring old couple.

“Hm? Is something wrong?” Namjoon replies, getting comfortable inside the neatly arranged bedsheets. There’s obviously sleep on Namjoon’s eyes and Jin feels kinda guilty, kinda not.

“No of course not.” he says, laying on bed and facing the other man, “I was just thinking… since camping is out of the questions for both of us…”

Namjoon raises one eyebrow at that.

“Maybe…” Jin continues, “we could go out fishing? Or, I don’t know, maybe skydiving?”

“Jinnie, love of my life,” and Namjoon is actually chuckling, moving just so he can hug his husband, “why would you want to do those things? I mean, if you really want them I’m all on board for that but. But it just doesn’t sound like you, love.” He says, giving small pecks on Jin’s cheeks and neck.

And it’s weird, because Jin should be happy to have such an amazing man beside him, someone so perfect, however, he only gets irritated, brushing the topic - and Namjoon’s mouth- off and moving to his side of the bed.

“Oh, they’re just some silly ideas Joonie, don’t fret too much ok? Now, goodnight.” after a pause he adds: “I love you.”

“If you say so…” Namjoon mutters, turning off the lamps and turning to his own side, “I love you too.”

~*~

There’s a superstition that says third time’s a charm.

Maybe that superstition is right.

Namjoon and Jin continue with their routines, as if the mention of ‘adventure’ or ‘skydiving’ never happened. Jin prepares their breakfast with perfection before Namjoon needs to leave for his job, he makes sure his husband is never late. Then, he gets ready for his own job, always choosing an outfit with at least one piece of clothing with the color pink. He says it gives him good luck.

He opens his pediatric clinic at 10, exactly. His patients are always wonderful children, sometimes a little bit spoiled, yes, but he loves all of them. The thing is, if his job was only taking care of children it would be easy as breathing, however, Jin needs to deal with their mothers too. And it’s a bit funny, a bit sad, that he’s the sensation between all the mothers that go to his clinic. Because he’s so handsome for a doctor, oh, because he’s so young and how come he’s already married? To a man! Luckily for everyone involved the mothers loved the fact that Jin was openly gay, even inviting him to small gatherings and what not.

It seems it was trendy to have at least one gay friend.

Not that Seokjin minded that, not at all. He gets to hear things, knows about all the gossips around the neighborhood and, the most funny part, he is blessed by all the blabbering and talking about the men and husbands and their sex life. Jin loves to hear the details, because why not.

It’s one of those gossips that, oddly enough, makes his life turn all around.

“Oh Doc, you need to hear this.” A young mother tells him after a consult, her daughter still clinging to Seokjin’s legs.

He smiles, because he knows this will be good.

“Did you hear about the new dance studio that just opened?” she continues, excited.

“Dance studio? No, where is it?”

“Just around the corner! How come you didn’t notice? Silly, but that’s not what is important,” and she gets closer to Jin, whispering on his ear: “They told me one of the dance instructors is like, really really hot.”

He laughs, really laughs, because this was just typical. There was this time one of the mothers discovered a ‘really hot mechanic’ and in the next week all of them had their cars in need of repair.

“You know that I’m married, right? And so are you.” he replies, joking.

“Well, yes. But it doesn’t hurt to look.” she says winking at him.

“No, it doesn’t.”

“So? Do you wanna come to the free class that’s going to happen this friday?”

Another client comes in at that moment and Jin knows that this one is a difficult one, the little kid having a weak immune system, always so sick. There’s no time to think about hot dance instructors right now, so he tells the mother that he will think about it and thank you very much for inviting him.

The rest of the day is erratic, the winter just around the corner making all of the mother's desperate at even a small sneeze from their children. Jin only thinks about the invitation when he’s at home, already preparing dinner. Maybe that’s his opportunity to get out of the routine, see new people and everything, go out of his comfort zone. He’s obviously not thinking about how hot is the dance instructor because, well, because he has Joonie and that’s all he needs.

He decides then that he’s going to try it out, voicing his thoughts during dinner:

“Do you remember that young mother with the lovely daughter?” he asks his husband.

Namjoon nods, humming some affirmative sound.

“So,” Jin continues, “she invited me to try some dance class this friday, do you think I should go?”

“Of course babe, you always wanted to learn real dancing, since high school, I remember quite well.” Namjoon answers, smiling at the memory.

“Hah, right. I was always so clumsy.”

“You still are.” and there’s so much fondness in Namjoon’s voice.

“Oh Joonie, you’re the clumsy one here.”

~*~

Friday comes too slow for Seokjin’s tastes, his boring routine stretching and pulling him to the edges, it doesn’t help that the weather is bad, rainy and humid. It makes him tired. However, his husband is there for him, always with a smile on his face and funny stories about his coworkers, he also has the children, rays of sunshine on their own. So, when he steps inside the dance studio, he wants to forget how tired he is; tired in the sense of his life, his mind, not his body.

The classroom is already packed with women of all ages, some greet him cheerfully. The room is filled with mirrors, obviously, and the lights are bright and white. He says his own share of ‘hellos’, deciding to stay at the back, he doesn’t want to be the center of attention after all. Because, well, because he is not the best dancer out there and the least thing he wants is for all the mothers of the neighborhood to see that.

Not that his outfit helps in hiding himself - he is wearing bright pink all over - and the fact that he’s the only man in the room is something to take notice too. Well, is not like he’s the only man in the room for so long, because the dance instructor enters some minutes later.

Hot may be a word to describe the dancer but Jin thinks ‘gorgeous’ is more accurate. He’s short, shorter than Jin by lots of inches, however, by the few clothes the man is wearing it’s possible to see his well defined thighs and arms. That explains the number of women here, right. But, the most outstanding feature could only be his beautiful, soft face, all plump lips and small eyes that almost disappear when he smiles and greets them saying: “Good evening, my name is Park Jimin and I will be your dance instructor for today’s class.”, and his voice, Seokjin can’t even start to describe because it surely is something out of this world.

Park Jimin is a work of art, Jin decides right then and there.

But, as common knowledge often says (or at least should say) firsts impressions never lasts.

Because as soon as the class starts Jin rethinks all his concepts about life and people in general thanks to one Park Jimin being the reincarnation of the devil himself when he dances. And okay Jin may be exaggerating here, but the man moves his body in such a sensual way, it’s shocking, really. There’s also the fact that, despite his sweet voice and angelic features, he’s a menace while teaching, all strong words and commands.

Ok, that’s pretty hot, alright.

However, there’s a problem, and the problem is: Kim Seokjin really is an awful dancer and well, maybe he had forgotten that part when he had agreed to come; which leads to the current situation.

A beautiful and hot - and probably mad at Jin’s dance skills- dance instructor standing right next to him after the class finishes, touching him on his shoulders and neck.

“Here,” Jimin says, moving Jin’s arms, “you should position them like this on the last part of the song.”

“Oh.” Jin says, surprised.

“It’s nice to see another man interested in dancing! You should come back.” he says, smiling the sweet smile again and still touching Jin.

“Well, I’ll sure think about it.” He replies, smiling as well, a little bit forced - yes - but smiling nonetheless. “Your class is very… intense.”

And Jimin laughs, really laughs, throwing his head back and making his eyes hide in tiny crescents.

“That’s the idea, you know, the girls like that.” he finally replies. “But, seriously” he says taking a step back and turning around, picking some towels and water bottles from the ground, the small shorts he’s wearing getting shorter. “If you want I can give you private classes.”

And Park Jimin winks, winks at Seokjin at the same time he’s bending down and oh, Jin is a married man, a good husband who enjoys his boring routine and he didn’t sign up for hot dancers winking at him. Oh no.

But, sometimes the body does what the mind tells it not to.

Seokjin winks back.

Before the dancer can reply back and Jin embarrass himself further, he runs away from the classroom. Which, thinking about it later, was a really rude move.

~*~

“So…”

“What?”

And okay, maybe snapping at his husband is not the best idea in the world, but Jin is conflicted alright? He needs a moment.

“Babe, you’ve been staring at your phone for minutes now, do you need any help with… ahn… something?”

The only answer Namjoon gets is a few grumbles of ‘no thank you’. In Seokjin’s defence, he’s not having a good, easy moment. He got home intact, alright, but as soon as he entered his house and decided to take a nice long shower his mind started remembering of how he had just winked to the dance instructor and oh god. Okay, he should apologize, right? He’s a nice guy, polite, even.

Which leads to him holding his cellphone like his life depends on it, staring at the numbers of the dance studio.

“You know,” Namjoon’s voice comes from behind, “no one’s gonna answer you at this hour.”

Jin looks at the time and yes maybe it’s a little bit too late to be calling dance studios, is 11pm after all.

“Let’s go to bed babe.” Namjoon says, combing his fingers through Jin’s hair. “You didn’t even tell me how was the dance class, was it good?”

“Yeah… I guess,” he says getting up from the sofa and heading to their bedroom, “I suck at dancing though.”

His husband chuckles, following him.

“But did you had fun?”

“Hah, a little, I don’t know if I’m coming back… too embarrassing.”

They go together to the bathroom, preparing themselves to sleep, brushing their teeth and putting night cream on their faces in silence, only when they are already in bed, nestled in each other, Namjoon talks again:

“You know, we could make dance classes together, we always dreamed about learning it when we were in college.”

With the sleepy state Seokjin is in, he only hums in agreement.

~*~

Namjoon is a simple guy, too simple even, he only needs two things in life to make him happy, these two things being music and his husband, so, when he notices the tiredness in Jin’s eyes and the lack of enthusiasm in his voice Namjoon decides it’s time to do something, anything. If it is dancing so be it, is not like it won’t be fun and it’s not like he didn’t thought the idea was good anyway.

When monday comes he already has a plan.

“Yoongi, can you go to my office when you’re free?” he asks as soon as he enters his studio, he knows Min Yoongi for a very long time, the man being one of his best producers and best friends.

“Sure.” Yoongi answers with a yawn.

It’s only after lunch that the man decides to appear at Namjoon’s office, which is not surprising at all.

“You’re not firing me this time, are you? I swear that the ep is getting ready…”

“Of course not,” Namjoon chuckles, “I need your help actually…”

“Oh, what is it?” he says, sitting comfortably on the chair facing Namjoon.

“You said one time that you had a friend who was a dancer?”

Yoongi looks at him with interest, curiosity even.

“How do you remember that? But yes, I do, his name is Park Jimin.”

“Does he gives classes? Private ones I mean.”

And it’s hard to get a reaction from Yoongi that is not full of boredom or smirks, but this time his face is filled with pure shock.

“Why…? Look, I won’t ask why you, of all people, want to start dancing,” he shakes his head, once, twice, “Yes he does give private classes.”

“Can you send me his contact number?”

“Sure, boss.” and Yoongi pauses, searching into his phone, “just remember he’s one of my best friends okay?”

“Relax Yoongi, this is for me and Seokjin.”

“Right…” Namjoon’s phone beeps once, “there I just sent you, can I go now?”

“Thank you.”

“No problem, just don’t fuck it up.” Yoongi replies, already getting up and leaving the office.

And of course Namjoon has no intention of fucking up anything, he just wants to make his husband happy after all, what could go wrong in having dance classes together?

~*~

Jin is suspicious, suspicious because his husband, Kim Namjoon, never ever wakes up early on saturdays and he definitely never asks Jin to put workout clothes ‘because he has a surprise’. Well, Jin gets even more suspicious when Namjoon leads him to the same street of his clinic and walks into the corner where the dance studio of the hot dancer also known as Park Fucking Jimin is.

Well.

“What we are doing here Joonie?” he asks, because he needs to.

Namjoon only smiles, showing all teeth, “You told me about dancing and it got me thinking, why don’t we take dance classes together? And then I remembered that one of my producers, Yoongi, do you remember him? He has this friend who’s a dance instructor, so I set a time with him and if you like the class we can do it like, once a week, whatever you wish.”

Jin stops in his track, barely listening: “Wait, what is the name of the dance instructor?”

“Oh, it’s Park Jimin, why?”

“Hah,” Jin is not desperate, he swears his increase in heartbeat happens just because he knows - he’s sure- they would be horrible at dancing, and not because the coincidence is a little too much for his liking, not because he didn’t even apologized for last time, not because he had maybe winked to Jimin and now he was walking into the studio with his husband beside him. “It’s nothing honey.”

“But do you like it? I wanted to make a surprise but…”

“Of course I liked! Shh let’s go and meet this Park Jimin.”

And what a meeting it was.

Jimin was incredibly professional, greeting the two of them with an educated smile, only when he really looked at Jin recognition flashed through his eyes, but only that. Not a wink, not a smirk, nothing of the playfulness Jin had seen before was showed in Jimin’s demeanor, which, surprisingly made Jin feel a bit disappointed.

That emotion didn’t stayed for long because when the class started Jimin didn’t gave them room for thinking about anything else beside moving to the rhythm and obeying his harsh orders, yes, harsh because the same way he was a menace during the women’s class he was with Namjoon and Jin too. It seemed like something flipped inside the dancer’s mind whenever he started dancing.

Jin never saw his husband sweating so much and, at the same time having so much fun, laughing freely whenever his feet would slip or when he missed something.

It was fun and despite the way Jimin commanded them, Jin noticed that the dancer was also enjoying, trying to suppress his smile whenever the couple did something wrong or sloppy.

However, fun things end quickly and soon they see Jimin smile that gentle smile again and turn off the upbeat music.

“Well, that’s all for today, did you guys liked?”

“Aw so soon.” Namjoon complains, “but yes, it was amazing! Jin, what do you think? Do you wanna continue having these classes?”

Namjoon’s face is so lit up with enthusiasm and cheerfulness that Jin can’t say no. Not that he would anyway because, well, because the class was great and he loved seeing his husband happy and he was still mesmerized by Park Jimin.

“Yes,” he answers, “is this time every saturday okay for you?”

~*~

It’s not like they enter a routine, because there’s never a routine when is about Park Jimin, the dancer always surprising the couple with new moves, music and ways to see life, because Jimin teaches them much more than just dancing. Jimin teaches them how to concentrate and how to know their body and how to have fun, even in painful moments - because they exist, a lot, especially when you decide to learn dancing after 25 - there are even some days where Namjoon is just too tired to move or Jin is feeling unwell and they just… sit on the floors of the dance studio and talk about nothing. Jimin is easy to talk to, it’s comfortable, like you’re talking to an old friend. Jimin is easy all over, except when he is not, which is fine too. Both Jin and Namjoon appreciate the many faces of the dancer equally.

“I think he’s cute.” Jin let’s out one day, when they’re both watching the news together, splayed on each other comfortably on the sofa.

“Hm? Who?”

“Come on Joonie, you know who.”

“Well, I guess you’re not talking about the reporter on the tv?”

They both look and see an old man talking about politics and the raise of taxes on the television. Jin just raises his eyebrows.

“Of course not, my love, you know how picky I am.” he answers, playing with the strands of Namjoon’s hair.

“Picky? You married me.”

“Oh come on,” Jin punches Namjoon lightly “you’re perfect.”

Namjoon smiles then, that kind of smile that makes his dimples appear. “You’re the perfect one here Jinnie.”

“Yeah, right.” and he’s too old to be flustered by this kind of things, so he just waves the conversation off, “So, cute. Our dance instructor, don’t you think?”

“Jimin? Cute?” Namjoon makes a face, like he’s doubting his husband’s words, “I would say more like hot.”

“Oh my God.”

“What?”

“I can’t believe you think our dance instructor is hot.”

“Are you jealous babe? Don’t be.”

Jin laughs, throwing his head back and everything.

“Joonie love of my life, Jimin is like, way more than ‘hot’, he’s gorgeous.”

Namjoon sighs in relief, “Well, yeah. Do you have a crush on him or something?”

And this kind of conversation should be tense, should cause some kind of stress for both sides, but it doesn’t, they love each other too much to even doubt about the other’s intentions.

“Maybe,” he answers playfully, giving little kisses on Namjoon’s cheek, “do you?”

“Maybe.”

No need to say they spend the rest of the night kissing and loving each other on that comfy sofa, whatever was playing on the television been forgotten long ago.

~*~

“Namjoon.”

“Namjoon….”

“Kim Namjoon for god’s sake!”

“What?” he answers, taking off his earphones and throwing a death glare towards his coworker.

Yoongi only stares at him, “i should be the one asking, what are you even doing?”

Namjoon looks at the screen of his laptop and oh no. Oh no.

“I can't believe you,” Yoongi continues, “are you really watching old dance practices of Jimin?”

“I…”

“Look, I ain't judging cause Jimin is pretty hot when he dances but,” Yoongi approaches, placing one hand on Namjoon’s shoulders, “he's my best friend and let me remind you that you're married.”

Namjoon takes the hand away, “Look, I appreciate your concern but we're all good, the three of us.”

“Oh?” and it's funny how Yoongi’s stance changes so fastly, from threatening to curious: “Tell me more about how ‘good’ the three of you are going.”

“Yoongi, don't you have a job to do? And besides, there’s nothing going on we’re just dancing.”

“Sure, does Jin knows about your crush though?”

And maybe if it was any other day Namjoon would have answer more politely, if Yoongi had at least asked nicely or anything, but the circumstances are that Namjoon is out of patience and maybe a little too turned on by the videos.

“For fucks sake Yoongi, of course he knows because guess what? He has a crush on him too!”

Yoongi is speechless for seconds.

Namjoon turns on his chair to face him properly: “What? Are you shocked or something?”

“I can't believe you and Jin are such a dirty old married couple.”

“We are not.”

“Okay.”

They stare at each other silently for a beat, until Yoongi thinks is best for him to keep his job intact:

“Okay,” he says again, “just… don't fuck it up Joonie.”

“I will not.”

~*~

But Yoongi still feels apprehensive, not because he doubts his boss words, but because he knows his best friend very well, so, he decides it’s time for a little talk.

Jimin hands are soft, softer than anything. Jimin hands are also strong, and the grip of them on their bodies is always steady.

As the weeks and months passes, the couple gradually starts to get better at dancing; the seasons change and they see Jimin more often, three times a week being too little.

When summer comes they’re dancing every day of the week; when summer comes they see themselves completely at the mercy of one particularly dancer.

They hear “your hips need to stay like this” and “your neck need to turn this way” and “now, put your feet here, yes just like that”, because Jimin commands. He commands like he owns Jin and Namjoon.

“Both of you, get on your knees.” Jimin says, sometimes.

And they happily oblige.

“Touch my thighs.”

And they do

“Now turn on your backs.”

And of course they do.

They watch mesmerized as Jimin shows them how to dance a certain move, they watch as Jimin licks his lips when he is not satisfied with something. They watch.

They watch and when they get home all of their clothes disappear from their bodies in a blink of an eye, hungry kisses are thrown in every direction, moans and whispers of never ending love can be heard by the walls. It’s not like sex wasn’t always this good, however, after Jimin something changed, as if a gear that was never used started to work. Jin and Namjoon discover a lot of things about themselves, in bed and outside.

After one of those wild nights they lay in bed naked, holding each other and sighing contently, is in that moment, when Jin is staring at the beautiful profile of his husband that he feels it. Feels as if there’s something not quite right.

“Joonie?”

“Uhm?”

Jin stops, thinking of what to say, what to not say. He touches Namjoon’s lips softly, kissing his forehead.

“I love you very much, do you know that, right?”

“Of course I know,” he answers, closing his eyes and smiling, “I love you too.”

“It’s just that… I don’t know how to explain…”

Namjoon open his eyes at that, turning around so he can be facing Jin.

“Say it whenever you’re ready, love.” is the simple answer of the man.

“I don’t think I will ever be ready.” Jin says, because one thing is thinking, another very differently is voicing his thoughts. He’s afraid and of course he is. Anyone would be.

They’re silent for a while and Jin is almost sure his husband is asleep, when Namjoon whispers, almost for himself:

“I can say it for you, if you want.”

Jin nuzzles close, “How do you know what I’m talking about?”

“Because,” and there’s a smile on Namjoon’s face, a little blush, “we’re together for so long babe, if I didn’t know you so well I couldn’t make you happy.”

“Okay…” he feels his face getting hot, as if his husband is saying this kind of things for the first time, “so say it.”

Namjoon takes Jin’s hands from under the bed covers, caressing them, “You want Jimin, right? Here.” he pauses, and locks his eyes with Jin, “with us.”

And Jin holds his breath, trying to calm his heart.

“Only if you want, too.”

~*~

But the thing is, as much as Jimin flirts with them and plays with them, is not like Jin or Namjoon knows how to approach another man, they being together since highschool does that to people.

So, they decide to start slowly and unassuming, like they’re courting the dancer.

“Jimin, do you want to grab dinner with us after the practice?”

And the dancer happily nods.

“Jimin, what do you think of some drinks friday night?”

And of course they go, and it’s fun, so much fun.

“Hey, Jiminnie, why don’t you come to our movie night?”

And every time, the married couple falls more in love with Park Jimin, because, how could they not? The man is sweet and also sharp, funny and intelligent, but, the most important thing is: he fits so well into the couple’s dynamic is almost scary.

It seems like he was always there, beside them.

It seems like he was just waiting on them.

~*~

“I need help.” it's the first thing Jimin says when he sits at the table and looks at Taehyung and Jeongguk.

“Why Jiminnie, hello to you too.” Taehyung says, endearment filling his voice.

“Uh, hello guys.”

Jeongguk waves and smiles, “are you alright?”

“Maybe?” he pauses, taking one of the menus of the restaurant that are on the table and flipping through the pages. “I mean, i'm fine but…”

“Shh it's alright taekook is here to help you.” Taehyung says smiling and hugging his boyfriend.

“Did you just? Made a ship name for yourselves?” and Jimin shouldn't be surprised because what could he expect from Taehyung and Jeongguk, right?

They both nod fervently, as if this is one of their best accomplishments.

“Okay... so.” Jimin continues, “remember the couple I was teaching?”

“Oh, the odd ones who were incredibly bad at dancing?”

“Yeah, them. They’re not bad anymore though.” Jimin waves his hands, calling for the waitress, they make their order and is weird how Jimin feels bad just by hearing his friend call Namjoon and Jin ‘odd’.

“Okay so what had they done this time?”

“Hm... ”

Taehyung whispers something to Jeongguk and Jimin sighs, probably Tae had already picked up what the problem was.

“Okay,” Tae finally says, “so tell me which one of them you have a crush on.”

Jeongguk laughs a little: “Babe don't say things like that with a straight face” in which Tae replies “babe, not even my face is straight.”

Jimin wants to get up and leave right then, because sometimes his friends are way too much, but he takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and says what he has been holding for so long:

“I may have a crush on both of them.”

The playful laughs of the couple stop abruptly, as if it’s a real shock to hear such things coming from Jimin, which, in hindsight, shouldn’t be because it’s Park Jimin we are talking about here.

“What?”

“How?”

“Well if I knew the answer I wouldn’t be here asking for help from you two, right?” he answers, sounding a little angry, a little desperate.

The ordered food and drinks arrive right then, giving the group time to recompose themselves.

“So…” Taehyung starts after a bite of his sandwich, “you’re telling us that you suddenly developed a crush on a married couple?”

Jimin leaves his food untouched and places both of his hands on his chin, pouting a little.

“It was not suddenly, Tae, I’ve been teaching them for months and now… well, now I don’t know what’s happening because they started to invite me to do stuff outside the studio, like going to the movies and to nice restaurants and they’re both so!” he closes his eyes, remembering how he was always treated like a precious thing.

Jeongguk nods a little, “They’re taking you out on dates, right?”

“But Kookie,” Taehyung intervenes, “do you think a couple would do that? No offense Jiminnie but it doesn’t sound right, I mean, I couldn’t see me and Kookie with another person.”

Jimin open his eyes, “Yeah, that’s the problem, why would they do that?”

“Well, maybe they have a crush on you?” is the only thing Jeongguk says before starting eating again, as if the answer was that simple.

“Is that even possible?” Jimin answers.

“Did you try to talk with them about this? Like, if this makes you uncomfortable…”

“No!” Jimin says a little too fast, “It’s not like that, I’m not uncomfortable, far away from that even, I… I love to spend time with both of them Tae, I really love.”

Taehyung blinks, tilting his head a little to the side, “Do they make you happy?”

Jimin smiles, face going soft. “Yeah… they’re both so caring and just… lovable, you know? Jin is like, the sweetest person I know, he’s always looking at me with eyes so full of something, and he takes my hand sometimes and he’s always telling bad jokes and trying to make me laugh, he also baked a whole cake for me just because I told him I was craving red velvet, can you believe that? And Namjoon, oh my, he has one of the best smiles I’ve ever seen and he likes to hug a lot? And he’s always saying how cute and how beautiful I am, he’s also such a nerd, like, he made a ton of cd’s for me for my classes and he always tries so hard to dance even though he trips on himself on a daily basis. Oh Tae, it’s weird isn’t it? How much I feel like I’m home with them?”

Taehyung and Jeongguk glance at each other, a little surprised by the outburst.

“Well…” Jeongguk starts but is interrupted by his boyfriend.

“Jiminnie, do you remember how me and Kookie started? Do you remember how both of us danced around each other for months until finally, I decided it was time to kiss the hell out of him and see if he liked me back?”

Jimin chuckles, “Of course I remember, those months were hell for me.”

“Oh come on, you had fun!” Jeongguk says, pouting.

“Just a little bit okay?”

“My point is,” Tae says clearing his throat, “you should kiss them and see if they like you back.”

Jimin stares at his friends, because of course that would be the solution they would give him.

“Kiss them. Like, just kiss?”

“Yeah Jiminnie, I’m pretty sure you know how to do that.”

“He kissed you that one time, right Tae? At that crazy halloween party back when we're all in college.” Jeongguk says, grinning.

“Stop it!” Jimin blushes a little, “Of course I kissed you, back then I kissed everyone.”

“Ohhhh so you’re saying i'm like everyone else?” Taehyung says, trying to hide his laugh.

And just like that the heavy tension that was in the air disappears, the three of them laughing and remembering the old days of college.

But, as things stand, the suggestion Taehyung made stays on Jimin’s mind.

It’s late at night and they’re still practicing, not because Jin and Namjoon wants it, but because Jimin wants, and what Jimin wants Jimin gets; that’s how things worked.

Apparently what Jimin wants is to make the couple sweat their whole lives away. Jin thinks this could only be some kind of vengeance for last weekend where they had to leave town for some family business, thus, leaving their Jiminnie alone, which, clearly, didn’t make the dancer happy.

Oh well.

But it seems that there’s something more bothering the man, it’s possible to sense the anxiety in the air, the nervousness, maybe that’s why he is trying to kill him and his husband with dancing. Jimin’s eyes bare a heaviness that’s not right - or usual - for the dancer, but it’s not wrong either.

Namjoon and Jin glare at each other throughout the whole class, trying to say things without words: ‘ hey, do you know what happening?’ and ‘can we help him?’. However, it seems that good intentions won’t solve the present situation, Jimin snaps at them when he catches the glares:

“Both of you,” he says, voice incredibly calm, eyes filled with fire, “what do you think you’re doing?”

Namjoon tries to babble some excuse, failing as he sees the look on Jimin’s face.

“What? Do you want to spend the night here training that one single step?”

And it’s probably the tiredness of the week, the tiredness of spending the day working out, or, maybe it’s just because Jimin looks smoking hot when he’s mad that Jin says what he says next:

“Well, I wouldn’t mind spending the night with you.”

The three of them stop for a moment, Jin’s hands find his mouth, covering it, after realizing what he had just said; Namjoon looks surprised, exclaiming an “oh my god” through his lips and Jimin, well, Jimin makes a decision.

“Oh?” is the only answer of the dancer before he’s grabbing Jin’s chin with his tiny but strong hands, he looks at Jin in the eyes then, “So tell me Seokjin, why would you like to spend the night with me?”

Jin tries to find his words, but he suddenly can’t, the tension just too much, unbearable; and Jimin hands, oh, they grip his face in a way that’s just too tempting.

Namjoon holds his breath, watching the scene mesmerized.

And then.

Something shifts, Jimin lessens his grip, eyes changing just slightly, voice wavering:

“Please,”he says, sounding almost like a beg, “tell me.”

It’s hard to find words, it’s even harder to tell the dancer everything that they want to do to him, so Jin decides to show him.

The kiss is sudden, unexpected. Soft, even, just a tiny peck on the plump limps of the other man, as if Jin is testing new waters. Namjoon approaches them then, getting closer and closer until his hands are combing the soft strands of Jimin’s hair.

“We like you, Jiminnie.” Namjoon says, words filled with fondness and a hint of worry.

And is not like Jimin doesn’t like them back, in contrary, he feels so much that he starts feeling dizzy, he open his eyes and let go of Jin’s lips, he searches for both men, questioning without words.

“Hm, sorry if this is not what you…” Jin starts to apologize.

“No!” the dancer intervenes, taking both men hands and holding fiercely to them, “is not that, is just… I didn’t know you two feel like this towards me.”

“Do you need time to think about this?” Namjoon asks.

“Yeah, but…” he pauses, thinking about how much he wanted this for so long, thinking about what Taehyung suggested, “can I kiss you two? Both, I wanna try it.”

He’s received with two warm smiles and nods.

The kiss is delicious, one would think that three mouths kissing at the same time would be awkward, but not for them, the chemistry always present. The sensations are so good that they lose track of time, feeling each other, hands hovering on the sweated bodies. It is so good that Jimin feels the need to stop right there, otherwise things would escalate further and maybe it’s not the time for that, not yet anyway.

“It’s getting late…” he says, taking a step back from the couple.

“Oh.” Both, Jin and Namjoon look a bit surprised as well.

“Can you two… meet me here tomorrow? I need to think about this.” Jimin says, because he needs to, because the couple also needs and, because he doesn’t want to make any mistakes, his love for Namjoon and Jin too big for that.

“Yes of course.” They answer.

When the next day comes, it seems like the world is filled with a kind of electricity, making the three of them shiver with anticipation and anxiety in different ways. Jimin knows what he wants, now, after the sudden kiss of yesterday he’s pretty sure he wouldn’t find a better fit than Namjoon and Jin’s arms, it’s funny even, because he had never imagined settling down with one person, but maybe he was always destined to be with two.  Jin feels like he’s high on something, maybe he is, the feeling of love so overwhelming that he looks at his husband with a tint of desperation. Namjoon is not better, but he hides it with his calm demeanor.

Of course, no one is really surprised when they get to the classroom and Jimin locks the door, eyeing them with hooded eyes.

“So…” Namjoon tries, but he’s fastly silenced by Jimin, who places a finger into his lips.

“You two… do you really want this? Want me?” he says, voice steady, as if he’s ready for the rejection.

But it never came, instead he finds himself being kissed in the neck by Jin, while Namjoon envelops him into a hug and whispers into his ear: “we want you, we wanted you since the beginning.”

And that’s enough to make something inside Jimin snap.

“Yeah?” he says, teasing, tilting his head back so the two men have more space to kiss his neck, “will you obey me?”

Jin answers moaning into Jimin’s collarbones, Namjoon hums and it sounds like music. It sounds like “yes please”.

There’s hands all over Jimin’s body, touching, feeling the well defined muscles, somewhere along the kisses and bites his shirt is left on the floor. Jin trails down his tongue into Jimin’s chest, abs, stopping only when he reaches the small shorts the man is wearing. Jimin tugs at his hair then, forcing Jin to look at him.

“I want you to take off your shirt and pants,” he pauses, licking his lips, “and then I want you to give me the best blowjob you ever gave in your entire life.”

Jin smiles, resting his head in Jimin’s tights for a beat, “anything you wish.” he whispers.

“And you,” Jimin says to Namjoon, forcing the other man to stop his ministrations on his neck, “I want you to fuck me while your husband is on his knees blowing me off.”

And if it was any other person asking them this, they would refuse, they would be angry even, because Jin and Namjoon weren’t the kind of men to submit to anyone other than themselves, but it was Jimin saying those things, it was Jimin kissing Namjoon’s mouth and petting Jin’s hair and it felt so right, everything about the moment felt like it was meant to happen.

“Jiminnie,” Namjoon says into his ear, licking a little, voice so low and full of desire, “I need to prepare you first.”

Jimin can’t help but moan, “everything you need is in my bag, first pocket.”

While Namjoon goes grab the things, Jimin kneels to face Jin in the eyes, he kisses the other man, fiercely, biting a little, only stopping to say: “touch yourself while sucking me off, I want to see that.”

The only answer he receives is Jin slipping his hands into his own underwear and touching his already hardened dick, “like this?” he asks.

“Yeah, just like that.”

The dancer gets up, so the other man can take off his shorts, leaving him naked in the middle of the dance studio, all the mirrors reflecting the sinful image that’s going on. It almost looks like a renaissance painting, the way the three bodies, already sweating a little, touch each other.

Jimin feels the already coated with lube fingers of Namjoon teasing his entrance, he hears the man whisper “can I?” and oh, Jimin is not one to beg but he hears himself saying, moaning “please” throwing his head back to rest into Namjoon’s chest.

At that moment Jin decides is a good time to put the entire of Jimin’s length into his mouth, the same time Namjoon inserts one finger into Jimin’s ass.

Jimin would be lying if he said it didn’t feel like the best thing in the world.

Jin sucks, up and down, up and down, hitting the back of his throat every time, moaning every time, his eyes locked up into Jimin’s own.

“Ah,” Jimin moans, “look Namjoon, look at your pretty husband.”

And Namjoon looks from behind Jimin, the picture seeming like what heaven must be like.

“Your cock is so big Jiminnie.” Jin speaks them, licking the length, “I love it.”

“You’re so tight around me, Jiminnie, so hot.” Namjoon says, biting the exposed neck of the dancer.

There’s a second finger entering him then, his body getting hot, so hot, he thinks his legs will give up anytime, but soon there’s arms holding him into place, Namjoon’s arm. “I’ve got you babe.”

With the renewed balance he decides it’s time for more action, the foreplay taking way too long for Jimin’s liking.

“I’m gonna fuck your mouth now, Jin, be ready.” he says grabbing a tuff of the man’s hair, placing his head in the right position. “And Namjoon, fuck me already.”

“As you wish.”

And it’s overwhelming, for everyone, Namjoon enters Jimin without a ceremony at the same time Jin pushes his head forward. There's loud moans and groanings, Jimin is panting and holding into Jin’s head for dear life. The pace is sloppy, the three of them trying to adjust, but they make it work somehow.

When Namjoon’s dick hit that special place, Jimin screams, is too much, too much happening, he feels the sweat dripping down his forehead, dripping down his back, the sinful noises of three bodies fucking reverberating through the room and he can only gasp, asking for more, asking for harder.

He looks down then, seeing how Jin’s pretty mouth takes his cock so well, and he tells the man just this.

The heat is too much, he feels the sensations building up inside of him and oh, he knows this time it will be quick, and is not only because of how well the couple takes him, no, but because he also feels something for them, he can't quite pinpoint what that feeling is, but is there, maybe always was, since he first saw the two men.

So, his only option here is the sweetness of release.

He needs it. The three of them need it.

Jimin cries when the sensations are too overwhelming, throwing his head back and seeing white, too much white.

It's just like he went to heaven and back, maybe.

Jin swallows everything, humming throughout the whole ordeal and working on himself harder, Namjoon is also not in a better state, his orgasm just as close.

Is only when Jimin opens his eyes again that he feels Namjoon gripping his hips harder, probably leaving marks, he sees on the mirrors the way the man opens his mouth and closes his eyes when he spills his seed into Jimin’s body.

“Oh my god.” he hears the man saying, panting heavily.

The trio stops for a second, catching their breaths, Namjoon slips off Jimin, kissing his back all the way down, heavy sighs can be heard and Jin whines.

“Relax babe, Namjoon will finish you off now.” Jimin says to the man, petting his hair.

And the dancer can only watch as Jin slowly gets up and opens his legs just slightly to give room for Namjoon’s mouth to work on his dick. The image of the big lips of the man enveloping and taking the hardened lenght sending shivers down Jimin’s spine. He goes to Jin then and kisses him hard, moaning into the hot mouth. Of course, there’s no way Jin could last long after that.

When all of them are splayed on the cold grounds of the studio, cuddling in each other, Jimin feels like he is truly blessed, like he had just experienced a holy communion. Maybe he has.

“You both did so well.” he says, praising the couple.

The only answer he receives are content sighs from both men, small smiles splayed on their faces; it’s comforting, it’s home.

“You should go home with us.” Namjoon says then.

“Yeah,” Jin hugs him more tightly, “our bed is big enough for the three of us.”

And Jimin could’ve said no, could’ve gone to his home and think about what he had just done and about his life choices, but the thing is, he’s not that kind of man; he’s pretty sure of what he wants and he wants both Jin and Namjoon, preferably in a huge and comfortable bed, so he nods and says a thousand ‘yes’.

People often say that three times’s a lucky charm, people also say a lot of dumb things, that it’s impossible to love more than one person and that relationships like that don’t work. Well, Kim Seokjin is not certain about any of those things, he’s not even certain about his life or his job, however, there’s one thing that Kim Seokjin is sure and that is: three is definitely a lucky number.

“Namjoon.”

Yoongi bargains into Namjoon's office unceremoniously, waving a pink card.

“What the fuck is this?” he says, shoving the card into Namjoon's face.

“Calm down, let me see.”

He picks the card in his hands and realization hits him.

“Oh! You received!”

“Yeah,” Yoongi scowls, “and I wanna know why i'm being informed just now that my boss and my best friend are moving in together and making a celebration party.”

“I thought you knew…”

Yoongi only sighs heavily, sitting on the vacant chair, “I knew you three were getting closer, but this? Why no one told me you guys were having some polyamorous relationship?”

“Don't be like that…” he says, and then an idea comes to mind, “you can bring Hoseok to the party though, if that will make you less grumpy.”

“How in the actual fuck do you know about Hoseok?”

Namjoon smirks, “Yoongi do you know that here at the studio we have like, cameras in every room, right?”

“Oh no.”

“Oh yes. I've been watching your sessions for months now and let me tell you, you guys are nasty.”

Yoongi glares at him, “Yeah, says the one who's fucking two guys at the same time.”

“At least we don't do it in public places.”

Yoongi is silent for a while, practically making a stare contest with Namjoon.

“I'm going to your lame party,” he finally says, “but i won't be bringing Hoseok.”

“Sure.”

He leaves the room, slamming the door just a little.

Of course, when the party comes Yoongi is seen beside a taller man with a killer smile.
