Chapter Text
Taehyung was walking at a slow pace to enjoy the night’s breeze on his skin. The night was cold and dark, the streetlights fighting against the darkness but there weren’t enough of them to light up the world. More than often shadows were masking him, his dark clothes making him one with the night. Looking up to the sky a faint smile ghosted on his lips. He was pleased to be unable to see the stars and the full moon as he was approaching a brighter and livelier part of the city. He had never been a fan of the countryside and its deep sky painted with bright stars. He rather liked the city’s artificial light.
Stepping into the noisy street he halted, taking his time to observe the scenery. Hongdae was one of Seoul’s most famous area, especially for its night life. The young generation claimed the neighbourhood as their playground where they could be as crazy and careless as they wanted while having the time of their life’s. The opposite of his usually quieter and sober way of life. But tonight after a long day of work and a stressful week he chose to be wild and went where the actual fun was.
It was strange for someone like him to seek being surrounded by a crowd full of drunk young adults. Far from the nightclubs he was more of a « drink a beer in a peaceful pub » type of guy, watching old men yell at the TV broadcasting sports match. He valued a lot his alone time, enjoying his life devoid of human interaction. He tried socializing as little as possible, only talking with people during work hours.
Tonight was different. Working at a dojo, Taehyung spent his days teaching others how to fight. He always thought it was his way of helping them, nobody should be defenceless against the shitty world they were living in. But today he had failed. Today, one of his student, a young college girl was assaulted. He gritted his teeth as he remembered how the girl’s mother came up to him and told the story. Each tear on the woman’s face appeared as punches for him. He failed as a teacher, he failed helping that girl protecting herself.
Reasonably it wasn’t his fault, he couldn’t fight for every single one of his students. But the guilt had invaded his mind, making him angrier than he should have been. He needed to clear his head, to forget everything for a night. He knew how to do it and that was why he was in Hongdae. He saw the place he was looking for. A hand going through his grey hair, messing them more he walked confidently to the entrance of the famous club, glancing at the waiting line. The buff bouncer addressed him with a nod and let him in. For once socializing seemed useful, as the man was previously Taehyung’s student.
Loud music and a huge crowd were waiting for him inside, the strong neon lights were dancing randomly on the sea of bodies. The air was heavy and hot making a sharp contrast with the cold air of the night. While making his way to the bar, he caught both male and female checking him out. A smirk found its way on his plump lips, fully aware of how handsome he was after having received compliments for most of his life. His slim yet muscular figure was showing through his tight and ripped black jeans, his black shirt molded on his chest and a leather jacket to complete the outfit. His parted ash grey hair captured the light and his brown eyes made everyone drowned in their intensity.
He stood between other customers at the bar and managed to catch the bartender’s attention.
« What can I get you ?» half-yelled the cute bartender over the loud music.
« Tequilla sunrise » he answered.
« Right away sir »
Usually he would go with a beer as he wasn’t a cocktail guy, but he wanted to change his habits tonight. With a glass in his hand, he leaned on one end of the bar, sipping on his drink slowly. His eyes roamed over the crowd, searching for the night’s target. He wasn’t really picky when he wanted a one-night stand, he would simply pick the first girl or boy as long as they were hot enough. Eventually he got tired of watching people, not finding anyone that matched his taste so he switched from drinking to dancing.
Gulping the remaining of his drink in one go, he went on the dance floor, slithering between bodies. Today’s events played in his mind and he grew sick of it. All he wanted was to forget and he would stay in the club until it worked. He closed his eyes, letting the beat seep into every cells of his body. He started to move slowly, sensually, listening carefully to the faint melody hidden behind the strong bass. Gradually the crowd disappeared, his mind went a little dizzy when alcohol finally hit him and his feelings faded. A sigh escaped his parted lips and his tongue came to wet them, a habit of him.
He felt bodies against his, hands sometimes touching him but he couldn’t care less. His plan was working, his memories of the day slowly fading the more he danced. His moves were delicate yet strong, making his hips thrust in an appealing way. Heat started to take over his body, a small drop of sweat beaded on his forehead. One of his hand went down his upper body, gripping at the belt loop. The other hand messed up his hair while he threw a heated glance at a stranger. He liked being playful with people, it didn’t matter what kind of game he was playing, seducing or not. But he was never played with.
Suddenly two hands gripped his hips, steadying them. A strong body was pressed against his back, a hot breath fanning in his neck, making him smirk even more. The stranger started to dance with him, leading them into a sensual dance, sometimes lightly grinding against his ass. He felt hot and good, this stranger surely knew how to dance in an arousing way.
The music wasn’t important anymore, his mind focused on the fingers digging into his hips. His heartbeat increased when lust invaded their dance. Now the stranger was fully grinding their bodies together, one hand still on Taehyung’s hip but the other one slowly starting to go higher, exploring and drawing random patterns on his abdomen. Taehyung reached behind him, his hand grabbing the stranger’s nape for some kind of support. He felt good, only dancing and the stranger’s hands on him. It was what he needed and he didn’t want to end it.
Taehyung’s interest grew more with each movement their bodies made. He wanted to see the stranger’s face. One teasing lick on the shell of his ear was the little push he needed. Turning over in the man’s hold, he was met with a handsome face. Black locks, sharp jaw, cute big eyes sending him a lustful look, small lips shaped in a smirk, the stranger was the embodiment of handsome. Cute features mixed with manlier ones. He couldn’t even describe precisely how beautiful the male was.
The warm and muscular arms around him tightened their hold on his waist as they locked eyes. He felt lucky to have found such a great target for tonight. The male held him tight, his body seemed well built. In Taehyung’s mind he was the perfect hook up. Feeling the hand on the small of his back beginning to play with the hem of his shirt, he got closer to the stranger. Their chests flushed against each other, none of them daring to break the eye contact. Taehyung let his fingers lightly play with the black locks while his breath became a little bit shaky. He broke first the exchange, burying his face in the stranger’s neck to leave a kiss there. He was in a teasing mood and it seemed like his partner was feeling like that to. The stranger nuzzled in his neck, and suddenly air left his lungs as a tongue started to give little lick. A kiss was left underneath his ear.
« Hi » came a manly voice, probably deeper because of the lust they were both feeling.
Taehyung didn’t want to answer right away but realizing where they were going as their hands explored more of each other, he figured it was time to check. He was really not picky about his hook ups, but there was one rule he never broke. Taking the advantage of his position, he closed his eyes and focus on one point in his mind. Suddenly a familiar warmth spread in his veins and his nose became itchy for a couple of seconds. As soon as the sensation came, it disappeared. His nose more aware of every smell, he let one invade his sense. And disappointment rushed in, lust vanishing slowly as he knew the male was now off limits. He suppressed the warmth, his sense of smell going back to usual. He peeled himself from the stranger’s body, pushing the hands still lingering on him.
« Sorry handsome, not tonight » he whispered in the man’s ear before walking away without turning back.
As he went back to the bar, frustration was eating at him. He couldn’t believe the perfect man he met wasn’t following his only criteria. But the rule was pretty simple. Female, male, both were good for him. But there was one thing he couldn’t allow, even if this meant not sleeping with the most handsome man or woman on earth. Werewolves were forbidden. He will never sleep with one. Especially with an alpha. And this handsome and mesmerizing stranger was one.
After a few shots of vodka, he found another man, quite good looking and with a dizzy mind he decided to indulge the man. Without knowing how he was in an unknown apartment with this man.
In the middle of the night, in a quiet bedroom, Taehyung rose from the mattress and without making a sound dressed himself carefully, his back aching and his muscles sore from the previous activity. With a glance to the snoring body, he cautiously put his shoes on, making sure the knife he carried around was nicely positioned against his shin. He never stayed in the morning, he always made sure to leave before his partner woke up. He was not up for the awkward morning after sex with a stranger, he didn’t even give his name to his hook ups. He slept with them once, so he didn’t bother giving his name or to ask for theirs. He wanted sex, not a friend or even an acquaintance. So he was part of the people who left right after sex. Once fully dressed and after making sure his wallet and phone where with him, he exited the room and the apartment.
Out in the fresh air, he tilted his head to the back, sighing when the cold wind engulfed him. And like before, he strolled down the street, not really in a rush to go home as it was now Saturday and he didn’t work that day. His mind wandered to the alpha he met at the club and a frown adorned his delicate face. What a shame he didn’t get to sleep with the handsome man. But he couldn’t break his rule. No wolf. Never.
With one last look at the full moon, another sigh escaped his lips before he blended with the shadows of the night and slowly walked back to his home.
