Work Header

while your lips are still red

Summary:

“But what about the teeth? The unusually sharp canines and weird eyes that change colour? Never wondered about that?”

Jungkook pouts, feeling unfairly accused, “There’s people and people and you’re my friend. I wasn’t going to question how you looked.”

Notes:

Wow, I'm so sorry this took so long, it just kept getting longer and longer and I didn't know how to stop it! All of your prompts were fantastic and if I had the time I would have written them all, but the jinkook just spoke to me. It just wouldn't shut up really and I may have strayed a little from the prompt, but I had a lot of fun writing this so I sure hope you're gonna have fun reading it as well. Also, today is my birthday, so this is as much a present to me as it hopefully is for you!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“C’mon, Kookster, you can't just sit around and mope all day. You need to get out and enjoy the world!” Taehyung says brightly as he unceremoniously flops on top of Jungkook's blanket covered form, laughing at the resulting groan and petting where he hopes is Jungkook's head, but mostly getting his shoulder.

“I can't walk and the world sucks.” Jungkook mumbles, pushing his head further in the pillow so his words come out mostly unintelligible.

“Aw, hey, you talk as if you lost your legs or something. You just hurt your heel a little.” Taehyung says, “You're a big boy, you'll get over it!”

Jungkook's entire heel ripped open and required quite some stitches. He would say it’s slightly more than a little hurt, but Taehyung feels guilty enough about it, when it's not even his fault, so Jungkook only groans and doesn't mention it.

“How is Jimin? Shouldn't you be trying to get him to go out and enjoy the wide world?”

Jimin took Jungkook's injury worse than Taehyung or even Jungkook did. He was practicing a new choreo with Jungkook when they started messing around and Jungkook picked him up and started spinning him. It was all in good fun and Jimin was laugh screaming, all loud and bright.

But then Taehyung thought it was a good idea to sneak in and Jimin startled so bad when he saw him that it caused Jungkook to lose balance and fall over with Jimin still in his arms. His heel caught badly on the door threshold, ripping it a nasty wound and Jimin got two fingers fractured and a nasty bruise up his forearm.

Neither of them even noticed their own pain at first, the shock making them burst into laughter at the situation. But then Jimin saw the blood painting Jungkook's sock red and he was apologising before Jungkook even started feeling the pain, tears bursting in his eyes as he asked Taehyung to call an ambulance.

It isn't quite as bad as it sounds, Jungkook’s heel will be perfectly fine after some rest and a little bit of care when he steps on that foot and Jimin's pinky and ring finger are the hurt ones so it doesn't affect him that bad, but Jimin still feels like it's entirely his fault.

Jungkook doesn't think of it as anybody's fault and he just wants Jimin to feel better.

“He said the same thing about you. So I'm trying to get you to go out, so I can start working on him.”

Jungkook peeks his head out at that, meeting Taehyung's too bright grin head on before burrowing back into his pillow.

“Fine. I'll go out, enjoy the world or whatever. So get Jimin to stop feeling guilty.” Jungkook says with a long suffering sigh.

“Yes, sir!”

Jungkook pushes his blanket down a little so he can wave Taehyung away and a tentative smile of his own curls at the sight of Taehyung's grin, his overly sharp canines poking his lower lip. It may be too bright and beautiful when Jungkook's trying to feel angsty, but it's genuine and fond and Jungkook's thankful for that.

♦ ♦ ♦

So, ultimately, it's all Taehyung's fault.

Jungkook unlocks his phone, Taehyung's annoying message popping up first thing, making jimin happy dont come home tonight kiss, and then immediately locks it again.

He’s been sitting at this bar for god knows how long, nursing his mostly untouched glass of whiskey, for no reason other that he panicked when the bartender asked him what he wanted and just asked for what Jimin orders most of the time, all cool and smooth, like he knows stuff about his pretentious drink.

Jungkook has no idea what he’s drinking most of the time, but the burn of the whiskey is definitely not something he enjoys in his free time. So he's been spinning the glass around for some time now, bringing it to his lips at random intervals and acting as if he's enjoying every sip, when in reality he hasn't even let it touch his tongue.

It's fine. He's been creepily staring at the bartender for a while now, not really seeing him and just trying not to look at the swarm of people on the dance floor which make both his anxiety spike and him nauseous. But, it's fine. He's going to kill Taehyung when he sees him again, but besides that, everything's just dandy.

“Looking broody on this fine night, you filming a drama?”

Jungkook startles at the voice, looking up from his glass only to immediately look away at the sight of a too bright smile. At some point, the bartender Jungkook has been staring holes through disappeared and this new one hasn't yet found out that Jungkook would rather be anywhere but here.

“No.” Jungkook says, “Are there cameras? Should I duck?”

The bartender bursts into laughter, loud even over the booming music and Jungkook risks a glance at his face, a little smile pulling at his own lips.

“Duck? Looking like that, I would be getting up on the table.”

“You're not so bad yourself.”

The man snorts, “Not so bad? I'm the best in here, kid.”

“I'm not a kid.” Jungkook protests, raising his half empty glass of whiskey as if that proves his Adult Status.

“Sure, kid. That's why you couldn't get through that entire glass the whole night. Want some milk?”

Jungkook sputters, unable to really deny that accusation, and watches helplessly as the bartender takes the glass from his hand and downs it himself, smiling all wide and satisfied with a quick wink. The fact that he would actually rather have a glass of milk makes it even worse.

“I'll have more of this, thank you very much.” Jungkook says, just to be contrary and tries very hard not to wince as his glass gets refilled.

“Here you go, kid.” the man winks, “It's on the house ‘cause you're so cute.”

And maybe Jungkook blushes, quite enjoying the man's loud laughter. He has an unfairly handsome face, something too perfect and slightly intimidating about it, but the wide smile with the too sharp canines eases the effect, softens it, makes Jungkook want to push back and hear it more rather than curl away.

He brings the glass back to his lips, but changes his mind in the end, putting it down with a sigh and staring at the bartender as he makes his way around, smiling easily to everyone.

“Want some more, kid?” the man asks after making his rounds, leaning over the counter on his forearms and motioning to Jungkook's glass teasingly. “On the house, of course.”

“Of course,” Jungkook drawls, “And it's Jungkook, not kid.” He takes up the glass again, steeling himself to down it to prove himself, but the bartender easily grabs it from his hand before he has the chance to.

He winks yet again, a shine of mischief to his eyes, before he throws it back. “Nice to meet you, Jungkook, I'm Seokjin.”

“Seokjin-ssi.” Jungkook repeats, quite liking the way his name rolls off his tongue.

“Jin-hyung is fine, Jungkookie.”

Seokjin doesn't give Jungkook back his glass, waving him away when he tries to grab it and he disappears in the back with a smile that only spells trouble. It's maybe a little disorienting that Jungkook feels a little giddy, a little excited for Seokjin to come back, weirdly anticipating it.

When he comes back it's with a tall glass filled almost to the brim with a white liquid. Seokjin looks this close to bursting into laughter, his ears red and his teeth biting at his lips to hold back his smile.

“Is that...?”

And of course it is. Seokjin gracefully places it in front of Jungkook, cushioning it with his little finger as if it would ever be heard over the booming music of the club, and fixes his expression into something more serious. With an imperious flick of his wrist he urges Jungkook to drink, watching him carefully.

Jungkook doesn't break eye contact as he brings it to his lips and takes a sip as he would for tasting wine. It's familiar and smooth, way unlike the whiskey, a delicious glass of milk especially for him. Seokjin only manages to keep the straight expression for a few more seconds before he bursts into laughter, something loud and shrill that can be easily picked up even in the club.

“Better?” Seokjin asks with mirth clinging to his eyes and Jungkook can't help but laugh as well, leaning forward on the counter on the same beat Seokjin does.

“Only if it's on the house.”

“Of course it is, I only reserve my milk for very special people.”

They both lean closer with their laughter and even in the dim light Jungkook can make out the red shine of Seokjin's lips, the way they curl all beautiful around his teeth, the glint of his sharp canines. When he looks up, follows the line of his cupid's bow, up the arch of his nose, he finds Seokjin looking back at him.

There's something there for a second, a depth that makes Jungkook shiver, dark and endless and clear like the smooth surface of water at night, so easily still, yet just as dangerous. Then Jungkook gasps, a tiny little sound, and the darkness fades just as quickly as it appeared, Seokjin's smile like the sun.

“It's an honor then.” Jungkook says, a little too breathy to come out as teasing. Seokjin's stare catches on his lips and stays there for a beat too long.

“So what brings you here, Jungkook? If not to drink nor dance?”

Jungkook's not drunk, not even slightly tipsy, having taken a total of four sips of whiskey the whole night, but there's this sort of dizziness that settles over him, something a little like anticipation, warm and sharp, and maybe a little like anxiousness, muted and diffused and making his words knot in his stomach one by one.

“Maybe I came to see you, hyung.”

And maybe this type of words can only mean something if someone like Jimin says them, with a bright, pretty smile and even prettier eyes, batting his lashes all slow as he looks up through them. Jungkook can't say them quite like that, sweet and smooth and tempting, and he wants to swallow them back down the moment they bubble up and slip past his lips.

For a very long second, Seokjin only stares, and Jungkook can't even breathe, but then he bursts into loud laughter, like he's told him a particularly good joke. Jungkook’s mood pops and deflates like a pathetic balloon.

“Couldn't say you're the first one,” Seokjin says, “Definitely the best one though.”

And it's like he's a kid all over again, his mood going up and down with Seokjin's words, a smile curling warm on his face. It's weird, disorienting how they've barely met and yet Jungkook's world seems to tilt to Seokjin's whims.

“Couldn't say the same for you.”

“Not the best one you've seen? C'mon, Jungkookie, both you and I know that's a lie.”

“I have never lied in my life.”

“Could count up to three times only in the short time we've known each other.”

Jungkook doesn’t deem that with an answer, choosing instead to take a sip of his milk instead, and he struggles not to choke on it when Seokjin starts laughing.

“So, you young, honest man, want to get out of here?”

The question takes Jungkook entirely by surprise and he almost dies with how hard he chokes. Seokjin leans over to not so gently pat at his back, but the proximity only makes it harder for Jungkook to breathe.

“What.” he manages to wheeze out, not quite as elegantly as he might have wished.

“Aw, don't worry, I don't plan on bringing you to some deserted place and killing you, so you can relax.”

“That definitely makes me feel better.” Jungkook deadpans.

He probably shouldn't be this surprised. He’s not much of a clubbing person, or even going out, really, but he's been out with Jimin enough to know how this works, has even been asked as well on several occasions.

But he's never really felt like saying yes, never even considered the possibility before being asked. With Seokjin, it feels a little different. Like he could say yes, like it might even be a good idea to do so.

Seokjin smiles, something to the curl of his mouth, to the glint of his eyes, “Of course, I’m not going to kidnap you, Jungkook. I can just serve you another glass of milk and be on my way. It’s definitely not my intention to take you away from here if you want to dance or get drunk or just chill.”

“I like to dance,” Jungkook quips, “And chill.”

“Hm, wouldn’t ever put the two in the same sentence, but that’s great for you! The dance floor happens to be just over there.”

“No, I don’t want to dance,” Seokjin frowns at that, blinks a few times like he’s trying to see better, like Jungkook’s grandma does when she puts on her glasses, and it’s oddly endearing, making Jungkook’s words come out amused rather than embarrassed, “At least not here.”

That’s clearly an opening, even if Jungkook didn’t quite mean it like that, and Seokjin is quick to jump on it.

“You’re in luck, kid! My apartment happens to have a spacious living room that’s just perfect for dancing.” Seokjin says, “And just between us: I would love to see you dance.”

Jungkook coughs at that, ducking his head in an attempt to hide his face, but even though Seokjin is laughing at him, his ears are flushed red when Jungkook glances at him. It’s cute, not quite in a way Jungkook’s used to, like the pink, pouty cute of Jimin, or the red, aggressive cute of Taehyung, it’s something else, just as warm, but different. It’s hard to tell if it’s in the way it seems to simmer down in Jungkook’s stomach, or the way it makes his heart a little giddy, a little hurried, skipping and tripping over beats, but it’s definitely something he could get used to.

“Perfect for dancing, you say?”

“Oh, but don’t believe me, you should definitely come and see it for yourself.”

Jungkook laughs, the sound escaping him like a sigh, “What about work? You sure you can just leave?”

“You might not believe this, but I don’t actually work here.”

“You’re right. I don’t.” Jungkook says, a little unsure if Seokjin’s making fun of him or if he’s really being serious. He’s been way too good at serving the customers for it to not be a thing.

“Maybe you should. I have never lied in my life.” Jungkook snorts, “I’m serious! I’ve been nothing but honest today, scout’s honor.”

“You’re not even a scout!”

“Well, not anymore, but you know how it is: once a scout, forever a scout.” Seokjin has to be fucking with him, but Jungkook has no idea where he should even begin to comment.

“There’s just no way you’ve been a scout.”

“Want to see my badges? They’re my proudest achievements.” Jungkook squints, watching Seokjin as if he might whip out those badges right now, but he only gets a wide smile in return. “God, a tough crowd tonight.”

“So you have been fucking with me.”

“Oh, I would never. I really used to be a scout and I really don’t work here. I just saw you zooming out, thought you were cute and asked a friend of mine to let me take his place for a little bit.”

Of course it’s that easy for Seokjin to just randomly ask a bartender that just happens to be his friend to let him take his place and just flawlessly bartend for a little because someone caught his eye, of course. Maybe the thing that should actually be shocking Jungkook is that he’s the one that caught Seokjin’s eye.

Considering the odds, it might even be possible that Seokjin’s been carrying a conversation with someone behind Jungkook this whole time and Jungkook has been dumbly answering for half an hour now, because neither Seokjin nor the handsome stranger behind him have had the heart to tell him. It could be possible. Jungkook might even go as far as to say it sounds more plausible than someone like Seokjin trying to take someone like Jungkook home.

Sometimes, Jungkook is really glad Jimin can’t read minds, because if he could and he were here he would absolutely and undoubtedly be beating Jungkook’s ass right this moment. Actually, if he really thinks about it and all the conclusive evidence, Jimin might actually be able to read minds and the only reason Jungkook’s not getting beat right now is because Jimin’s not here. Maybe he should be thankful to Taehyung after all.

“Jungkook? Are you listening?”

“What?”

Seokjin’s suddenly not behind the bar anymore, having abandoned his apron and made his way to Jungkook’s side at a certain point that Jungkook can’t remember.

“I said I’m ready to go. If you still want that, of course.”

Behind the bar, wearing his apron and serving drinks and small talk, Jungkook didn’t really take him in, but now, with Seokjin sitting right next to him, he can’t help but feel underdressed. Seokjin’s not wearing anything extremely formal, just a loose dress shirt and a pair of ripped jeans, but somehow he manages to look overly expensive, be it because of the fine red of his shirt, the wide set of his shoulders or the easy confidence with which he wears them.

Jungkook curls his hands into his sleeves, suddenly reconsidering this whole endeavor. The only reason he didn’t come out here wearing his sweats was because Taehyung looked him up and down and told him he’d rather kill Jungkook than see him go out dressed in the pants he’s been wearing for a week. Jungkook was, of course, quick to argue that he washes them regularly, but Taehyung just wouldn’t hear any of it and pried them off himself. Managing to keep on his hoodie was a win he was not expecting but one he was going to take anyway.

Suddenly, that decision of his doesn’t seem like a great one anymore and Jungkook briefly considers the possibility of curling into himself until he disappears. It could work.

“Hey, Jungkook-ah, don’t make that face. I’m serious, I’m not gonna kidnap you or ask you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. We can just stay here and chat if you want that. Or I can take you home. It’s really up to you.”

Seokjin’s entirely and undoubtedly a stranger, someone Jungkook knows nothing about, and yet there’s something very telling about the way he makes Jungkook want to stay instead of run.

“I want to chat,” Jungkook manages, “Just not here.

“My spacious living room then?”

It should be alarming, really, just how disarming Seokjin is, with his perfect words and pretty smiles. Jungkook should be worried really, but it’s hard to think when Seokjin’s looking at him like that, his heart on a marathon, running from one beat to another, not minding how many it skips over.

“Your living room it is.”

♦ ♦ ♦

And maybe this is a mistake. It’s starting to feel more and more like that as they wait in maybe the fanciest apartment building Jungkook’s ever seen for the elevator. He should have probably cut this short the moment he saw Seokjin’s slick, black car, most likely more expensive than Jungkook can even comprehend.

He’s halfway on his way to completely disappearing inside his hoodie when the elevator finally dings open and his already jumpy heart almost stops entirely. Telling Seokjin he wasn’t feeling up to it in the club would have been one thing, even after he got into his car would have been ok, but now, in the overly large apartment with Seokjin, he can’t even find it in himself to open his mouth.

“Jungkook? Are you ok?”

No, nope, not at all ”Sure.”

Seokjin laughs at that, “I’d give you points for trying, but that’s too bad even for a lie.”

“Sorry,” Jungkook’s voice comes out embarrassingly high, something breathy and pathetic. If the ground could open up and swallow him, now would be a fantastic moment.

“Hey, hey, none of that. I didn’t bring you up here for a job interview, you can relax.”

Seokjin probably means well, but that only makes Jungkook feel worse. The problem happens to be that he knows exactly why he’s here and that suddenly sounds like a horrible idea. He’s being annoying and embarrassing and all that Seokjin wanted was a quick fuck, not goddamn dramatics in his apartment.

“Jungkook, hey,” Seokjin’s feet suddenly appear in front of Jungkook’s, too close, too soon, “Hey, would you mind looking at me?”

There’s something there, to the tone of Seokjin’s voice, the worry there, the softer pitch of his voice that makes Jungkook look up, trying to blink away unwanted tears. And it’s maybe the fact that he’s expecting annoyance, or even frustration, that the wide eyed look of fear takes him by surprise, makes him blurt out the first thing he can think of to make it disappear.

“Why are your socks different colours?”

It doesn’t come out quite like it should, watered down by Jungkook’s sudden outburst of tears. Leave it to Jungkook to make it seem like unmatched socks are the worst thing in the world.

Seokjin stares at him for the better part of a second before the words finally register and he snorts, covers his mouth as his eyes glint, but he only manages to keep himself quiet for a few moments before he bursts into proper, shrill laughter that seems to actually echo in the whole apartment. Jungkook’s so shocked that he starts laughing as well, teary and overly loud.

Somehow, the unplanned laughter makes it easier for Jungkook to breathe, the atmosphere easing as if by magic.

“They are part of my look,” Seokjin answers seriously when he manages to calm down, “We can’t continue this if you can’t accept it.”

“Blue stripes matched with orange bunnies is just not it, hyung.”

“Oh shut up, you black socks simpleton! Only a genius could understand my incredible sense of fashion.”

“Or a dumbass.”

“You would have understood then.”

Jungkook sticks his tongue out at that, rubbing the back of his sleeve over his face to get rid of the remaining tears.

“I’m sorry, Jungkook-ah,” Seokjin says suddenly, catching Jungkook by surprise, “For making you cry. I noticed you were getting tenser by the minute ever since we got into the car, but I didn’t know what to do about that so I just waited for it to pass. Should have asked you about it.”

Jungkook very badly feels like crying again, his eyes watering even despite his incessant blinking. Seokjin looks very alarmed, very quickly, but Jungkook speaks before he gets the chance to.

“I’m sorry,” Jungkook begins, making Seokjin frown at the words, “It’s really not your fault, hyung. You’re very handsome and you have a very expensive looking car and you’re so very good and I just-- I can’t live up to that.”

“Who said you had to?” Seokjin smiles, soft and careful, like he’s trying not to spook Jungkook, “I didn’t talk to you back at the bar because I wanted us to compare car prices. I liked you so I decided to talk to you. And the fact that I brought you to my apartment doesn’t have to mean anything more than that, Jungkook-ah.”

“You’re fine with just-- just chatting’s enough for you?”

Seokjin laughs at that, reaching over to pat Jungkook’s head, warm and so reminiscent of the way Jimin touches him, the tension slipping away from him.

“You said it yourself, you want to chat. And if I’m lucky, maybe I’ll even get to see you dancing.”

“In your spacious living room,”

“In my spacious living room.” Seokjin nods, “Speaking of, I haven’t even shown it to you. My entrance is great and all, but the rest of my home is even better.”

And Jungkook is quick to find out that that’s not an exaggeration as Seokjin leads him further inside, the brightly lit city spreading out in front of him through the floor to ceiling windows that Jungkook was pretty sure didn’t actually exist in the real world until now.

“There’s just no way you live like this.”

“I guess with enough time on your hands, anything is possible.”

“Enough time? Like what? Thirty years? I wouldn’t be able to afford this even in a hundred’s time.”

“That’s fair. It took me more than a hundred too.”

Jungkook snorts, “Sure it did.”

“I’m serious, don’t I look it?” Seokjin frames his face cutely, leaning closer to Jungkook and batting his eyelashes at him.

“Of course you don’t.”

“It’s the blood of virgins, Jungkook-ah! At the tender age of three hundred, that’s the only way to keep my youthful beauty.”

“Stop making fun of me, hyung,” Jungkook whines.

“Ok, fair. Any blood works really, virgin blood doesn’t even taste different.”

“Hyung!”

“Ok, ok, no more blood talk. God, tough crowd today.”

Jungkook smiles and somehow, he feels happy. In Seokjin’s ridiculously large apartment leaning on his ridiculous rich people island, he actually feels inexplicably happy.

“Do you actually use this for something or is it here just for you to flex on us poor citizens?”

“Oh I definitely use it,” Seokjin grins, stepping closer to Jungkook and leaning over him as he pats at the smooth countertop, “Do you want to guess for what?”

Jungkook’s breath catches in his throat, his already tired heart tripping helplessly over the sudden proximity, “For what?”

“Aw, come on, you have to guess at least once,”

“Cooking?”

“Fucking.” Seokjin cuts in smoothly, winking for the full effect. Jungkook feels himself flush from the inside out, something curling tight in his stomach, before he very roughly pushes a cackling Seokjin away.

“This tour sucks. I’m going home.” Jungkook announces moodily, trying very hard to keep a serious face as Seokjin dramatically clutches at his chest, leaning back on his stupid island as if shoved there.

“Noo, Jungkookie, wait, at least have something to drink before you go!”

“Are you planning on poisoning me?”

“Gods, no! Why would you suspect me of such vile acts? In my own house? I trusted you, Jungkookie!”

I trusted you!”

“Fine, fine, that’s fair. I’ll make it up to you with the best drink ever, ok?”

Jungkook squints at Seokjin’s wide, welcoming smile, huffing when he frames his face with his hands, wiggling his fingers all cutely.

“Don’t you already feel better after looking at this amazing face? Doesn’t it just beat any view?”

“I’m going home after all.”

“No, no, I’ll be serious! I promise, scout’s honor.”

“Fine. But just know that you’re on very thin ice there.”

“Oh, no! Not ice! I’m too hot for ice!”

Jungkook opens his mouth to protest, having quite some fun with this, but then Seokjin seems to take his own words too seriously, throwing himself at Jungkook as if the floor really is going to melt under his feet. It’s sudden enough that Jungkook does not expect it one bit, but the only reason he manages to catch Seokjin despite that is because Taehyung and Jimin have made it an awful habit to jump in Jungkook’s arms without so much as announcing their intention.

And so Jungkook wraps a steadying arm around Seokjin’s middle and slips the other under his thighs, having to take a few steps back to maintain his balance, but ultimately managing not to fall.

Oh.” Seokjin breathes and Jungkook almost drops him when he realises the position they’re in, “I did not expect this.”

But he doesn’t seem to mind it much, wrapping his arms around Jungkook’s neck until he has no choice but to look at Seokjin.

“It’s a bad habit, sorry. I’ll put you down.”

“You make it a habit to be strong and wonderful?” his voice comes out lower, the words slower, as if he’s taking his time savouring them.

Jungkook’s face is undeniably burning, but Seokjin doesn’t seem to want to be put down, properly wrapping his feet around Jungkook’s middle and making himself comfortable. He almost wants to protest, but he makes the mistake of looking up from the sharp line of Seokjin’s jaw and the words die in his throat.

“Hyung?”

Seokjin’s eyes are dark, the same clouded, hazy look Jungkook only got to witness for a second back at the bar, but now, in the privacy of Seokjin’s apartment, Jungkook finally manages to categorise it.

“I want to kiss you.”

Lust.

Seokjin saw Jungkook in the bar and, for that tiny second, wanted to eat him all up. The thought burns, makes Jungkook shiver all the way to the very tips of his fingers.

“Then why don’t you?”

It’s something like getting a hot coal dropped inside of you, flaring right through him, lighting him up from the inside until everything is just burning, the way Jungkook feels when Seokjin stares at him. Just looks at him, breath warm against Jungkook’s lips, a promise of a kiss between them, so close, yet not nearly close enough.

“Tell me,” Seokjin whispers, dragging a gentle hand up Jungkook’s neck until he can wrap it in his hair, “When to stop. If it’s too much just. Just tell me.”

Jungkook can barely breathe, “It’s just a kiss, hyung. I’m a big boy, I can--”

Seokjin thankfully doesn’t wait for him to finish, pressing his mouth warm against his. It’s a little off to the side, just slightly too much pressure, but Seokjin laughs, whispers a soft apology and tilts Jungkook’s head for a better angle. And oh, oh, Jungkook could definitely get used to this.

It’s soft and gentle, Seokjin’s lips all plump and warm against his. Jungkook quite likes this, likes the way Seokjin’s fingers tighten in his hair, likes the way their lips seem to fit just right, the way Seokjin smiles into the kiss when Jungkook makes tiny sounds, their mouths catching just right, a mention of something more.

“No more drinks?” Jungkook teases, the effect diminished by his breathlessness, the world a little blurry around him, everything but Seokjin moving out of focus, the way he smiles, pulls on Jungkook’s hair just enough for him to feel it.

“No more chatting?”

“Isn’t that what we’re doing now?”

“Sure we are.”

Seokjin’s ears are bright red, having spread down all the way to his neck, and Jungkook feels warm all over, his heart squeezing in warning. A warning he completely and entirely ignores as Seokjin leans back in, kisses him just right.

Jungkook’s running on very little air, even less oxygen, and while he considers himself quite built, Seokjin is literally trying to kiss the air out of his lungs and there’s only so much time Jungkook can hold him up before his arms decide to resign.

“Hyung?” It comes out as mostly a whine, slurred and pressed against warm lips, but Seokjin pulls back, his eyes dark, dark, dark, looking at Jungkook as if he could swallow him whole, tugging on his hair hard enough that it almost hurts.

“Hm?”

And it’s hard to think like this, with Seokjin nosing his way down Jungkook’s jaw, placing damp, open mouthed kisses against overly sensitive skin, letting his lips drag until the sharp tips of his teeth catch. Jungkook stops breathing, his mouth falling open in something like a plea maybe, Seokjin’s breath so hot against his throat.

It’s hard to tell, really, if his heart is still beating in his chest or if it’s climbed all the way up to his throat, pounding until Jungkook can’t hear anything else, can’t feel anything outside the slick slide of Seokjin’s tongue on his skin.

“Imgonnadropyou.” Jungkook manages to force out as his knees completely give under him and the whole world tilts with him.

His already suffering lungs have to live through another surprise as all the air swooshes right out of them, Jungkook’s back colliding not very gently with the floor. His head surprisingly lands on something soft so, thankfully, Jungkook doesn’t have to go through the embarrassment of explaining how he got a concussion because he had his neck kissed in the ER at a random hour in the middle of the night.

“I knew I was a good kisser,” Seokjin says, his words all round with laughter, “But I didn’t think I would be sweeping you off your feet quite like this.”

And it’s so ridiculous that Jungkook can’t help but laugh as well, his heart fluttering helplessly in his chest as Seokjin gently pulls his arms from around Jungkook’s head and helps him up, a smug smile pulling at his lips.

“I don’t really feel swept off my feet. Maybe try harder?”

“Quite the risk taker, I like that. But maybe we should continue this in a bed? Where there’s only a minimal risk of breaking something?”

“Coward.” Jungkook says, unwilling to acknowledge the way his heart skips at the implication there.

There’s that slight hesitation then, as Seokjin leads him to his bedroom, that fear that he doesn’t actually know what he’s doing, but then Seokjin squeezes his hand, turns to smile all wide at him,

“Here we are, cowboy.”

And Jungkook laughs, half at Seokjin’s saucy wink and half out of nerves. Of course Seokjin would have a humongous, oddly round bed that’s illuminated from below in pink light. Of course he would.

“Do you actually sleep here?”

“Of course I do! What else would I be doing in this fantastically bouncy and big bed?”

Jungkook raises his brows at that, refusing to play into that, but Seokjin only stares back at him very seriously as he magically produces a remote and points it towards the ceiling. For a second nothing happens, but then the room starts to shake as the familiar tone of Britney Spears fills it and a part of the ceiling opens up to reveal a multi coloured disco ball.

“Helps me sleep better.” Seokjin deadpans as Britney sings her heart out. Jungkook can only hold himself back for so long before he starts laughing.

“No way you brought me to your literal sex den!”

“What are you talking about? It’s my cozy bedroom. I brought you here to sleep, you heathen!”

“On Britney Spears?”

“Jungkook-ah, this is very serious talk. If you don’t like Britney, we can’t be associated.”

“I like Britney! I even won at a dance show with this song!”

Seokjin’s eyes glint at that, “Show me.”

“It’s a couple choreo, hyung, I can’t do it alone.” Jungkook laughs, “I did it with a friend, maybe I can show it to you some other day?”

It comes out naturally, the promise of later, but then Jungkook realises that this is not what they’re supposed to be doing and he and Seokjin don’t actually know each other outside of today, outside of Seokjin wanting to take Jungkook home for a night. He almost takes it back, laughs it off as a joke--

“I would pay good money for that.” Seokjin says, easy and earnest. Jungkook feels warm, heart swelling dangerously inside him, ready to pop and spill all this affection all over the goddamn walls.

“I’m sure Jimin would love that. I’ll introduce the two of you later, show you some of our dance routines.”

“Ooh, dance routines! I thought you only danced for fun.”

“Jimin does. I actually have a small studio for teaching dance classes.”

“Oh no, another talented one. My friend, Hoseokie, is a professional dancer and a choreographer in his free time. Maybe I should introduce the two of you, I’m pretty sure he’d absolutely love you, might even fuck around and adopt you.”

Jungkook laughs, giddy from finding out these bits and pieces from Seokjin’s life, “I don’t think I can be adopted at this age.”

“If somebody can do it, it’s definitely Hoseok.”

“He sounds like a great person.”

“Well, that, he sure is.”

“You are too,” Jungkook blurts, flushing at the sudden outburst, “Great, I mean. I know we just met and it might not mean much,” Seokjin’s eyes are wide, clearly taken aback, and Jungkook should maybe shut up before he says something too embarrassing to take back, but the words just keep spilling out, “But you’ve been great all night and I really like you.”

For a moment, the room is silent except for Britney’s voice, and Jungkook almost combusts from embarrassment, but then Seokjin starts laughing. It’s not his usual laugh, something almost bashful about the way he seems to tuck himself in, his ears flushed red.

“Of course I’m great.” Seokjin boasts, but it lacks his usual confidence. It makes Jungkook feel inexplicably fond, his heart doing some kind of acrobatic number inside his chest, jumping all up in his throat, falling to his stomach and throwing itself against his ribcage until they’re both a little breathless.

“Of course you are.”

And Jungkook’s not entirely sure what gets into him as he reaches for Seokjin, but they both stop breathing as he touches his neck, his hand all weird and shaky. He should probably step back, he doesn’t even know what he’s doing, but Seokjin’s looking at him, straight at him, not moving, not breathing, waiting for him.

“Did you know,” Jungkook says, almost a whisper, “That your ears flush red when you’re embarrassed?”

Seokjin shivers when Jungkook’s fingers brush over his ear and it’s all warm to the touch, even more so as he traces it, gently pulls on the lobe, reminds himself to breathe before he passes out.

“Can I kiss you, Jungkook-ah?”

It should be a ridiculous question, really, when they’re so close, Seokjin’s hand falling to Jungkook’s waist to pull him closer, close enough that Jungkook goes a little cross eyed trying to look at Seokjin, letting his eyes follow the line of his nose, down the slope of his cupid’s bow, all the way to the red of his mouth. But Jungkook appreciates it, likes the way Seokjin keeps reassuring him each step of the way, asking if it’s ok, making sure they both want this.

And oh, how Jungkook wants this. It’s hard to remember now, as Seokjin tilts his head back, presses a tiny kiss to his jaw, one more to the corner of his mouth before teasing with one pressed warm to the tip of his nose, what he was so afraid of before.

“Yes, hyung, please.”

Seokjin smiles against the curve of Jungkook’s cheek, trails kisses against the flushed skin until he finally reaches his mouth and then just stops, breath all warm and damp against his lips. Jungkook whines at the near miss, tugging on Seokjin’s ear and fitting their mouths together at the resulting gasp.

It feels different, somehow, a little more rushed, hotter as Seokjin licks along the seam of Jungkook’s mouth, pulls his lower lip between his own and sucks on it until it’s sore, coaxes his mouth open and kisses him until they’re both lightheaded. Jungkook feels dizzy, drunk on the taste of Seokjin’s mouth, on the way their lips seem to slide together just right, the way Seokjin moans all air and no sound as Jungkook bites his lip, just enough for him to feel it.

They both shiver when Jungkook presses his tongue against the sharpest of Seokjin’s teeth, and there’s something to the way his hold tightens around Jungkook’s waist, his body tensing. So, of course, he does it again, to test it, and then, when Seokjin doesn’t pull back, again; drags his tongue across his teeth, lets his lip catch, enjoys the way Seokjin seems to get more affected each time.

It’s only when they pull back that Jungkook gets to actually see Seokjin’s expression, his breath stuck in his throat. His pupils are completely blown, dark, dark, dark and there’s a glint to them, red and unusual. And it may just be Seokjin’s stupid disco ball casting weird lights, but it makes Jungkook shudder, overwhelmed with just how much he wants Seokjin. It feels like he’s going to burn himself inside out at this point, Seokjin’s gaze only making it that much worse, that much better.

Jungkook doesn’t wait to catch his breath before he leans back in, wraps a hand in Seokjin’s expensive looking shirt and pulls him in. His teeth catch on Jungkook’s mouth, a little too sudden, a little too harsh, enough to break skin, and Jungkook should probably be worried about how much that turns him on, how it makes him burn and burn with no way to stop it.

He gets an idea then, so quick it must have already been simmering inside of him, an itch that’s starting to burn under his skin, an itch only Seokjin can scratch. He sucks his lower lip between his teeth, the tangy taste of blood filling his mouth, and before Seokjin gets the chance to pull back, Jungkook kisses him again, open mouthed and already out of breath. Seokjin moans and Jungkook takes the chance to deepen the kiss, sliding his tongue against Seokjin’s and pushing his own blood in his mouth, the world spinning out of focus around him.

Seokjin immediately pulls back, but his eyes are so dark, shining in that certain way that settles hot in the pit of Jungkook’s stomach, and he licks his lips, the slightest hint of blood there.

Jungkook can’t breathe, “The blood of virgins, right, hyung?” It’s supposed to be teasing, but it comes out all wrong, breathy and needy.

“God, Jungkook, do you even know what you’re doing?”

Jungkook has absolutely no idea, but it seems to be working, so he doesn’t plan on stopping very soon. “Why don’t you show me?”

Seokjin’s eyes flash. He doesn’t waste any more time as he pushes Jungkook into the bed, all soft and bouncy underneath him, and makes quick work of their clothes. Jungkook almost wants to cover himself back up, his skin breaking out in goosebumps, but the way Seokjin looks at him makes him freeze, his skin burning.

“Fuck, I’m gonna suck you dry, Jungkookie.”

It almost sounds like a threat. Jungkook has never been more aroused.

“Oh,” he says, more of a gasp than anything, “That’s hot.”

And that’s all the encouragement Seokjin seems to need, leaning over Jungkook to kiss him, finally. It’s messy, both of them gasping for air, but neither seems eager to pull back. They kiss and kiss and kiss, until Jungkook’s mouth feels sore, kiss swollen and tender to the touch, but it’s not nearly enough and he can’t help but whine when Seokjin pulls back.

Jungkook wraps his arms around Seokjin’s waist, pulls him close, close, close, until he can feel the warmth of his skin against his, and asks, begs for Seokjin to touch him. Please, hyung, I want you, and maybe it’s too much, too honest, too needy, but Jungkook can’t get himself to shut up, he’s burning too hot, too much.

It comes as a relief, really, when Seokjin presses his mouth against his jaw, tilts Jungkook’s head for a better angle, kisses down his throat all slow and hot, lets his lips drag along the sensitive skin, smiling at the moan that earns him.

“Can I bite you Gukkie?” The words are hot against his skin and it’s maybe on purpose that Seokjin lets his teeth catch, presses the sharpest point against the fine skin there, makes Jungkook shudder, “You just smell so good, makes me want to taste you.”

Jungkook should probably be worried about the implications of that, but he lives with Jimin and Taehyung, it would be hard for any kind of kink to take him by surprise. And he would be lying, really, if he said he hasn’t been thinking of that ever since he first caught sight of Seokjin’s unnaturally sharp canines.

“Gotta keep yourself young,” Jungkook says, barely missing teasing. It’s easy, alarmingly so, to let Seokjin do whatever he wants and Jungkook just seems to melt into it, all worries forgotten somewhere.

Seokjin laughs, breathless and loud, and kisses Jungkook on the mouth, slower now, suddenly patient, coaxing his lips open and leaving him all breathless, tiny sounds stuck in his throat. There’s a weird sort of excitement buzzing under Jungkook’s skin, making him that much more responsive as Seokjin starts to kiss his way down, pressing soft gentle kisses to his cheeks, open mouthed ones against the curve of his jaw and then, and then, a hint of tongue, a drag of teeth.

There’s barely any time to prepare before Seokjin sucks a mark just above Jungkook’s collarbone, soothes it with the flat of his tongue and presses his teeth against the skin, just a hint as Jungkook stops breathing entirely.

“Hyung,” Jungkook whines, his skin humming, anticipation making his heart stutter in his chest.

Then Seokjin smiles, presses a hand to Jungkook’s chest and bites. It feels sudden, even as he was expecting it, and Jungkook gasps at the pain, wrapping his hands in Seokjin’s hair to keep himself grounded. It morphs into something else quick enough that it leaves Jungkook reeling, back arching as he tries to get closer, mind all foggy with want. Seokjin soothes the bite with a kiss, licks it better before he moves back to Jungkook’s lips, lets him taste.

It’s not a taste Jungkook particularly likes, heavy and coppery and unmistakably that of blood, but he should probably be worried about how much it turns him on, this entire thing, the bitting, the kissing, Seokjin.

Oh,” Seokjin says, whispers really, “You like this.” Like he’s read his mind.

It’s hard to deny that, really, when it’s the truth, but even more so when Seokjin’s looking at him like that, pleased, something dark hidden behind the easy curl of a smile. He presses two fingers against Jungkook’s fresh bite, maybe just to watch him throw his head back in a breathless moan, not enough to hurt, just enough for him to feel it, to beg for more.

Jungkook should probably be embarrassed. They’ve barely even touched, barely even kissed and yet he’s already whimpering, already asking for more, hard and needy and already so far gone. But it helps that Seokjin doesn’t seem any better, his ears flushed red, down his neck, spreading prettily all the way down to his chest. And his hair’s a mess where Jungkook’s run his hands through it, his lips kiss swollen and shiny where Jungkook’s mouth has been; there’s a trail left for every place Jungkook has touched and it only makes him want to touch more.

“Can you kiss me, hyung?” asks Jungkook, already parting his lips, eyes falling closed.

And he doesn’t get to see Seokjin’s expression, but there’s a second there, heavy and settling on Jungkook’s skin like electricity, tiny pinpricks, before Seokjin makes a noise, low in his throat, makes Jungkook shudder with it, and kisses him, hot and heavy and breathtaking.

“You’re really something else, Jungkook.” It sounds almost reverent, the way Seokjin presses it against his lips, then lower, to the middle of his chest, against the flutter of Jungkook’s ribs.

Seokjin doesn’t seem to be in any hurry, taking his time exploring Jungkook’s body, his reactions. He lingers where Jungkook’s the loudest, teasing, touching, kissing him silent, all soft and deep when he starts begging, asking for more, please, hyung, I want you. Jungkook’s neck has always been sensitive, his chest even more so, but with Seokjin touching him it feels like his settings have gone haywire, sensitivity too high, sounds too loud, unable to shut up.

But maybe Seokjin enjoys this. Maybe he likes the way Jungkook curls in on himself when he touches his nipples, drags gentle and overly light fingers around the sensitive skin there, sucks on it until it’s tender and then teases with the press of teeth, enough to have Jungkook whimpering.

He carefully keeps away from Jungkook’s cock, pressing light kisses to the heated skin of his stomach, lower then, to the jut of his hip bone, before making his way to his thighs. Jungkook’s legs fall open way too easily, so overly close, he feels almost too big for his body, tugging on Seokjin’s hair to get him to touch him, actually touch him.

Seokjin only smiles, kisses Jungkook’s inner thighs all fluttery and warm until he’s a shaking mess, tears clinging to his lashes because Seokjin’s barely even touching him, the barest hints of pressure really. But it’s a touch so light it almost hurts, like tiny pinpricks of pain all over Jungkook’s skin, a precarious balance between too much and not nearly enough.

Jungkook’s so close, so, so close. If only Seokjin would touch him, if only--

“Hyung, hyung, please, I’m-- please-- please touch me, hyung,”

He barely makes out the sharp sting of pain as Seokjin bites into the tender skin of his thigh, before he’s screaming, curling into himself as his orgasm washes over him in bright bursts. Seokjin kisses the bite better as Jungkook comes down, sucks on the skin until it hurts, until Jungkook whines, on the edge of too much.

“Want me to stop?” asks Seokjin, pulling back just enough to let Jungkook breathe, try to catch his breath, “The offer for drinks is still up, if you want it.”

Jungkook doesn’t even have to think twice on it, “Aw, hyung, I know you’re old, but is that all you can do?”

Seokjin hasn’t come and Jungkook can definitely come more, so, really, it’s not even much of a choice. As expected, Seokjin immediately jumps on the challenge, a glint to his eyes that can only spell trouble.

“And here I was, trying to be considerate. God, kids these days.”

“Good excuse for being old and tired.”

“You little brat--”

But Jungkook shuts him up with a well placed kiss before he gets to say anything else, tilting his head so he can fit their mouths properly. He tastes like blood, clearly so, but also like Seokjin, something warm and reassuring as he parts his lips for Jungkook, lets him take and take until they’re both out of breath, the world fuzzy and comfortingly out of focus.

Seokjin laughs when they pull back, bright and delighted, and presses one more warm kiss to Jungkook’s nose.

“Before we continue, Jungkook-ah, I have to ask you something.”

“Shoot.”

“Are you a virgin?”

The question takes him by surprise, his cheeks heating up as he tries to squash the wave of panic that washes over him, “Yeah, why?”

He doesn’t really succeed.

“Hey, hey, don’t clam up on me, I’m not trying to make you uncomfortable.” Seokjin says, smile careful and earnest, “I like you and I want to make you feel good, ok?”

Jungkook swallows, tries to get himself to relax. It’s only Seokjin, funny, incredibly beautiful and annoyingly rich Seokjin who has a biting or blood kink or both and who’s only been good to Jungkook ever since they’ve met.

“I lied earlier,” Seokjin says, “Virgin blood is better.”

And Jungkook can’t help but laugh, so awfully endeared. “So what do you want to do, hyung?”

“Funny you would ask that. It’s exactly what I wanted to ask you.”

“Uhm, maybe,” Jungkook mumbles, face burning, “I want to fuck you.” It’s ridiculous really, they’re both naked in Seokjin’s bed and Jungkook has come drying on his stomach and bite marks from Seokjin’s teeth, and yet he can’t bring himself to say this properly.

“Of course you do! We’re talking about the fantastic me after all!” Seokjin’s ears are red. Jungkook finds that oddly calming.

“Can we also, uhm-- only if you want that-- maybe do this without a condom? I went to get checked last week with Jiminnie and I just-- I want to feel you.”

It’s a ridiculous request, Jungkook knows as much, even more so for someone he’s just met, but Seokjin doesn’t laugh at him or call him ridiculous or anything like that.

“Knew you were a romantic from the first time I saw that pretty face of yours.”

Jungkook frowns, “No, you didn’t.”

“Sure did, my sweet child.”

“No, you didn’t.” A pause, “Did you really?”

“Of course I did. And yeah, we can do that. I recently got checked too, so you don’t have to worry about that.”

“Okay.” Jungkook says.

He suddenly feels glad about the fact that Seokjin knows he’s a virgin, because he realises that he truthfully has no idea what he’s supposed to do. He’s watched shitty porn before and ended up on weird spirals on the internet and walked in on Taehyung and Jimin more times than he likes to remember (Jungkook’s pretty sure they only choose places where they are more likely to get walked on, so, really, Jungkook’s the victim here,), but he doesn’t actually know what to do.

“Gukkie, hey, what did I say about closing up like this? Talk to me, ok? We’re not doing anything that you don’t want to and if you say stop, we stop.”

Seokjin makes it sound so easy, reassuring Jungkook like they’ve known each other for years, with exactly the words Jungkook needs to hear, with easy smiles and brighter eyes.

“I want you to feel good, too, hyung.”

And there’s a moment, as Seokjin’s eyes widen, clearly taken aback, in which Jungkook wants to return his words exactly to him, but then Seokjin laughs and reaches over to ruffle his hair, “Anything you want, Jungkook-ah.”

Anything he wants. That feels big. Jungkook's heart does some weird jumping scheme in his chest and he can't help but smile, leaning over and kissing Seokjin's mouth. It's sweet and quick, just a warm press of lips, a thank you really. But it doesn’t stay sweet for long, as Seokjin pushes Jungkook back in the pillows and straddles him, kisses him properly.

Jungkook could get used to this, to the warmth of Seokjin’s body, the plumpness of his lips, but his skin is buzzing, head spinning with the implication of more and he wants to feel good, wants to make Seokjin feel even better. Anything he wants. More than anything, Jungkook wants Seokjin.

Seokjin kisses a mark he’s left on Jungkook’s collarbone, smiles up at him as he traces one of his nipples, touch light and teasing, trying to rile him up and too easily succeeding. He kisses the other one, doesn’t break eye contact as he presses the flat of his tongue against the nub before pulling it into his mouth and sucking, letting his teeth catch. He presses his hand to the flutter of Jungkook’s ribs as he moans, body arching into Seokjin’s touch.

Jungkook just came a few minutes ago and yet he’s still so hard, so easily responsive to each of Seokjin’s touches, unable to keep himself silent, to keep himself grounded. But Seokjin’s not looking to make him come again, he’s just having his fun, trying to see how far he can get Jungkook to go.

“You’re so sensitive, Jungkook-ah. Want to come again?”

Jungkook whines, shakes his head, “Hyung, please, you said anything I want,”

“And that’s not to come?”

“I want to feel you, hyung, make you feel good. Earn my worth.”

“Earn your worth,” Seokjin laughs, his ears all red, embarrassed, like Jungkook’s affecting him as much as he’s affecting Jungkook. It makes Jungkook feel oddly proud, giddy, eager to touch Seokjin more, to get closer, make him feel as good as he made Jungkook.

Seokjin taps his chest, something warm, almost fond to the way he looks at Jungkook, then suddenly pulls back and Jungkook’s quick to assume he’s said something wrong, almost asks him, panic settling over him. But Seokjin only reaches over to take something from his bedside table, looking quite amused when he meets Jungkook’s eyes.

“Calm down there, cowboy, I’m not going anywhere.”

“Who says cowboy anymore these days?” Jungkook asks, laughs at the slap that earns him.

“The old man you’re going to be fucking soon.”

He flushes at the bottle of lube Seokjin brandishes, anticipation settling over him all hot and heavy. He has touched himself before, experimented in all kinds of ways, but it’s different with a real person and everything feels like so much more with Seokjin.

Seokjin sits up on his knees, still straddling Jungkook and he opens the bottle to pour quite the copious amount of lube on his fingers. He doesn’t break eye contact as he reaches behind him, mouth falling open on a breathless gasp.

“Can I watch?” Jungkook remembers to ask, mesmerised by the way Seokjin’s brows draw together, expression changing with each second.

“No,” Seokjin breathes, “You need to close your eyes and count up to my age.”

“I can’t count that high.”

Jungkook slides his hands up Seokjin’s thighs to feel them tense under his fingers whenever Seokjin crooks his fingers just right, squeezes at the solid muscle there just to hear Seokjin gasp, his eyes slipping closed. He didn’t really think it was possible, but Seokjin is even more beautiful now, with his lips kissed red and face scrunched in pleasure.

Jungkook wants to kiss him so bad it almost feels like an ache, his heart swelling in his chest until it hurts, just a little, just enough. He wants to press his lips to Seokjin’s cheeks, to the curve of his brow, to his beautiful nose and then, and then, saved for last, to the swell of his lips. He wants to swallow the little sounds he’s making, kiss him until they can’t breathe.

“Will you let me touch you, hyung?”

Jungkook already is, but he wants to touch him more, wants to make Seokjin feel good, wants to see him come undone under his fingers. Seokjin arches his back, mouth open on a whispered curse, breathless and low. His cock is hard and curved towards his stomach, flushed red all pretty, and all Jungkook wants to do is taste, watch Seokjin as he comes in Jungkook’s mouth, certainly a sight to behold.

“I told you already, Jungkook-ah,” Seokjin’s voice breaks on Jungkook’s name, morphs into something sweeter, more air than sound, “Hyung will let you do anything you want.”

So Jungkook does. He slides his hands higher up his thighs, slow, slow, slow, just to watch Seokjin arch into his touch, whisper under his breath for him to hurry up, before he spreads them wide over his stomach, touches close, but not enough. Seokjin rests a hand on Jungkook’s chest as he leans forward, breath coming quicker now, something rushed about his movements.

It’s mesmerising, watching the way Seokjin’s face twists when Jungkook squeezes his ass, pulls his cheeks apart and slides his hands further, until he can touch his stretched rim. He whines, all loud and desperate, pushing himself back into Jungkook’s hands. Jungkook presses a finger in alongside the other three Seokjin has inside, just the tip, just to test it, and Seokjin curses.

“Fuck, please, Jungkook, oh my god,” he whines, “More lube,”

Jungkook immediately hurries to obey, but Seokjin whimpers when he tries to pull back his hand so he has to open it with the other, pouring it over the cleft of Seokjin’s ass and pushing in one more finger as Seokjin takes one of his out. It’s wet and hot and the added lube only makes the slide easier, louder too, echoing in the large room alongside Britney’s voice.

“Jungkook, fuck, stop, I’m gonna come,”

But Seokjin only moves his fingers faster, fucking himself back on them, so Jungkook follows suit, spreads his fingers open until Seokjin’s moaning, words a mumbled mess. His cock is bouncing against his stomach, all sticky with precome and flushed red and Jungkook has touched himself enough to know what to do.

Seokjin shudders as Jungkook pours lube on his cock, whining when he wraps a hand around it, movements all sloppy and quick. It’s hot and heavy in his hand, but Seokjin’s face is all twisted with pleasure, mouth open, so Jungkook moves his hand faster, squeezes just enough for him to feel it, paying more attention to the underside of it where he likes to be touched.

It doesn’t take long before Seokjin’s coming all over Jungkook’s hand and his stomach, slumping bonelessly over the mess and whining from the sensitivity.

“You were supposed to fuck me,” Seokjin says against Jungkook’s neck and he sounds almost sounds guilty about it.

“Do you not feel fucked?”

“You know what I mean, you brat!”

“Yeah, well, I can definitely go for another round,” Jungkook says, “But because you’re old and tired, I’ll do you a favor and stop here for tonight.”

Seokjin snorts, glancing at Jungkook’s obviously still hard cock and licking his lips, “Not that tired,” he says, pressing an open mouthed kiss to the sensitive skin of Jungkook’s throat and smiling at the tiny gasp that earns him.

“Really? We don’t have to continue tonight if you’re not up to it.”

“Since when did you pick up the role of the responsible hyung here?” Seokjin laughs, “I’m three hundred Jungkook-ah, I know my limits.”

“Yeah, but do you really?”

Seokjin very easily shuts Jungkook up with a kiss. He quite likes this, the kissing, maybe the most, really, and Seokjin seems all too willing to indulge him. They take their time now, the initial urgency having faded somewhere, and Jungkook relaxes into it, the burn having settled to a simmer.

Jungkook takes the chance to pepper Seokjin’s face with tiny kisses, one on his mouth, then two more for each cheek, another pressed soft to the flutter of his lids, the curve of his brow, three for his sweaty forehead, then, because he can’t stay away, one more to his lips. Seokjin holds him there for this last one, coaxes his mouth open and kisses him all slow and deep, until Jungkook can’t tell if he tastes like Seokjin or Seokjin does like him.

“I can’t believe you were surprised when I called you a romantic.” Seokjin whispers against his lips.

“I was asking to fuck you, that can’t be that romantic.”

“Everything that you do is romantic, Jungkook-ah.”

“That’s not true.”

“It’s like, you know how in the sims you can select three traits for them and then they do everything according to those traits?” Seokjin asks, “Yeah, well, at least two of yours are being a romantic.”

“You can’t even put the same trait twice!”

“Well, you’re a special kid.”

Jungkook pouts, “Can we fuck now?”

“See? Even that sounds romantic when you say it.”

And Jungkook is this close to beating Seokjin’s ass when he kisses him silent, adjusts his position so he’s straddling him again. Seokjin’s cock is already half hard as he guides Jungkook’s to his ass, presses the tip against his rim and just takes a deep breath before taking Jungkook in all the way to the hilt.

“Fuck,” Jungkook whines, already this close when Seokjin hasn’t even started moving.

It feels even better than he thought it would, hot and wet and so tight he can barely breathe, but Seokjin doesn’t give him any time to catch his breath as he starts moving, slow languid ups and downs as they both get used to the feeling.

“God, Jungkook, you feel so good, fill me up so well.” Seokjin’s words come out all breathy and high, breaking on a moan as Seokjin leans forward and Jungkook snaps his hips up to meet him halfway, “Fuck, do that again,”

And so Jungkook does. He adjust his hold on Seokjin’s waist and easily turns them around, enjoying the breathless gasp that earns him, the tiny look of admiration before Seokjin is wrapping his arms around his neck and pulling him in for a kiss. It’s open mouthed and messy, less of a kiss and more of them breathing into each other’s mouths as Jungkook starts fucking into Seokjin properly.

He slides his hands up Seokjin’s thighs, glancing at Seokjin’s expression to see if he should stop and slowly starts pushing at them, more and more until he’s got Seokjin almost bent in half. The lack of resistance takes Jungkook by surprise, something hot unfurling inside of him, making him want to push more, faster, just to test how far he can go, how far Seokjin will let him.

“You’re so hot,” he moans, pulling out almost all the way before he swiftly thrusts all the way in, enjoying the way Seokjin’s back arches, eyes fluttering closed.

“Again, right there, Jungkook, please,”

And there’s an edge of desperation to it, both of them stretched to their limits, so Jungkook can’t help but obey him. Seokjin pulls him even closer, moaning against his throat as Jungkook thrusts in just right, exactly how he’s been told, all deep and fast. He’s so close, so, so close.

“Hyung, I’m gonna come, can I--”

Jungkook reaches over to wrap a hand around Seokjin’s cock, already familiar with the weight of it, and he moans at the way Seokjin tightens against him, so tight and hot.

“Yes, please, please, just don’t stop,”

Seokjin bites him as he comes, hard, breaking skin, and the sudden pain mixing with the pleasure pushes Jungkook over the edge as well, world blurring out of focus around him as he rides his high.

“See?” Seokjin says, all breathless as he pulls Jungkook closer, “Aren’t you glad we went for another round?”

“Aren’t you glad your poor heart survived it?”

“I would just like to mention that my heart is very rich.”

“And I would just like to mention that I can’t believe we fucked on Britney Spears.”

“Britney Spears’ discography is great music for fucking and I will not be taking any criticism when you came three times thanks to her.”

“It was thanks to you!”

“And Britney.” Seokjin says with finalty, “And you’re welcome.”

Thankfully, Seokjin closes the music before they go to sleep and, after enough wrangling, he also shuts off the disco ball.

♦ ♦ ♦

Surprisingly, Jungkook gets a very good night’s sleep in Seokjin’s huge bed, even though he expected it to only be pretty and big and offer no comfort whatsoever, as expensive things tend to do. Both Seokjin and his bed have been pleasant surprises in that area.

“Oh, you’re awake.” Seokjin says, peeking his head into the room with a way too bright smile for whatever hour it is. Jungkook only groans.

“Am not.”

“Sleep talking then. Well, that works, too. For our sleepy Jungkookie, I have prepared delicious food, as fantastic hosts like me tend to do.”

Jungkook peeks his head above his blanket at that, food being the only thing above sleep in his hierarchy. Seokjin looks annoyingly put together in an expensive looking full suit, with the tie and vest and cufflinks and all that dazzle that comes with looking like Seokjin. Jungkook is still naked and the only reason he doesn’t have crusted come on him is because Seokjin threatened to murder him last night if they didn’t have a romantic bath together.

“Hyung?” Jungkook says, words still sleep slurred. He’s not exactly sure what they are and if he should push when Seokjin’s only been good to him, but his brain is still mostly asleep and thankfully only humming with worry, as opposed to alarmed screaming.

“Hm?”

“Kiss me?”

It comes out awfully shaky, quiet enough that he almost thinks Seokjin’s didn’t catch it. But then Seokjin laughs and makes his way to the bed, the same wide smile from last night and Jungkook sighs in relief.

“Awfully needy this fine morning.”

Seokjin doesn’t move quickly enough, so Jungkook wraps a hand around his pretty tie and pulls him in himself, smiling at the outraged gasp that earns him. The position is not ideal, but Seokjin easily climbs in the bed and in Jungkook’s lap and tilts his back for a better angle, all protests forgotten.

He smells so good, fresh and clean, like he’s just come out of the shower, but there’s also a hint of something spicy, a touch of ginger and Jungkook just can’t seem to have enough. He pulls Seokjin’s tie loose so he can get to his neck, presses tiny kisses to the sensitive skin there, if only just to hear Seokjin gasp, pull Jungkook closer.

“You were right,” Jungkook says, soothing a mark he’s just left with a kiss, “This may be the most delicious food I’ve ever had.”

Seokjin melts into laughter on top of him, slapping at his chest when Jungkook starts laughing as well, his eyes all bright. Jungkook kisses him again just because he can.

“I guess the good part is that you can eat me anytime you want.”

Jungkook knows it’s a joke, something to keep the laughter going, but his heart trips on the anytime, the implication of this not being a one time thing. He opens his mouth to ask Seokjin, as curiosity tends to have Jungkook get ahead of himself, but then he just doesn’t know what to ask, looking away from Seokjin’s face before he gets any more ideas.

Seokjin flicks his forehead, brows drawn together in what Jungkook can only guess is worry.

“I know the broody main character is a favourite trope for most dramas, but I think I told you that you can talk to me, Jungkook-ah.”

Hope is sweet and relentless in Jungkook’s chest, blooming like sweet woodruff in his chest until there’s nothing else but the bright white of it, filling him all up.

“Are we,” Jungkook swallows, the words suddenly heavy on his tongue, refusing to come out, “Is this a thing-- the anytime? Do you-- do you mean it?”

Seokjin laughs, like he always does, easy and loud, but somehow, it only makes Jungkook panic more.

“I like you, kid. I do mean that. I brought you home because I liked you and now I plan to wine and dine you, so. Yeah, I do mean it.” Seokjin says, easy, so, so easy, “Of course, only if you want that.”

Jungkook’s entire chest blossoms, until it’s hard to breathe, pushing against his ribcage, “I would like that very much.”

And it spills out as breathless laughter when Seokjin leans down to kiss him, sweet and soft and just right.

“Good. Now come eat before my fantastic masterpiece gets cold.”

It ends up actually being a fantastic masterpiece and not just Seokjin’s exaggeration and Jungkook listens carefully about how well balanced this spectacular meal is and how it helps with replenishing blood and some other things. Jungkook just thinks it’s tasty.

Jimin would probably be super proud of him for eating something scientifically proven to be healthy (if Seokjin’s words are anything to go by). He always tries to eat proper, healthy balanced meals and Taehyung even encourages him, sometimes tries to help him with that, even if it mostly ends up in a disaster. But more times than not, Jungkook corrupts him into just going for the fast alternative of take out.

“It’s very good, hyung,” Jungkook says, “But aren’t you going to eat?”

“Oh, no, that’s okay, last night was enough for the time being. Thank you for offering, though, Jungkook-ah.”

“I mean, sure? You made the food and all, so it’s no big deal.”

Seokjin laughs, reaches over to ruffle his hair, “You’re being awfully sweet, is the food really that good?”

“Yeah?”

“That’s good. I guess I’ll have to thank Yoongi for the recipe.”

“Yoongi?” Jungkook asks just as the front door beeps open.

“Speak of the devil.” Seokjin says delightfully, getting up to greet the sudden visitor, “Welcome home, Yoongichi, how has your night been?”

Yoongichi is a tiny man dressed fully in black with a sour expression that contrasts almost hilariously with Seokjin’s open, cheery one. He’s wearing a black mask that covers most of his face and carrying a cap that has been probably covering his eyes until now and a thick bundle of some black material. Overall, next to the tall, expensive Seokjin suited up in pink, he looks outright scary.

He opens his mouth to say something, but the only sound that comes out is a meow and Jungkook freezes. Yoongichi’s face falls at the sound, twisting in gentle worry as he looks down at his tiny bundle and after a few seconds of wordless staring, Jungkook finally catches sight of the little head poking out of the bundle.

“A kitten!” he exclaims, excitedly getting up to see the tiny creature better, but then remembering that he doesn’t actually know Yoongichi and the dark look thrown his way is the only warning he’s gonna get.

“Wow, tone down that animosity, dark lord, Jungkook’s not gonna hurt your freshly rescued child.”

Yoongichi tucks his head down, looking suddenly like a scolded child. He whispers a quiet sorry under his breath before he turns to Jungkook. It’s so abrupt that Jungkook can’t help but flinch. Yoongi sighs at that, but he doesn’t seem angry, instead he bows slightly and apologises once more, louder now, clearly meant for Jungkook.

Jungkook almost hits his head on the table as he hurries to return the bow, tripping over his words and barely even managing to get his own name out.

“I’m Jeon Jungkook, I’m--” he glances at Seokjin, trying to find a word that describes what they are, but when the seconds keep going by and nothing seem forthcoming, he ends up with, “Sorry.”

Yoongchi snorts just as Seokjin bursts into laughter and Jungkook finds himself smiling even despite how hot his cheeks feel.

“I’m Min Yoongi” Yoongichi says, pulling off his mask, “I live with Jin-hyung. Nice to meet you.”

“Aw, don’t word it so vaguely! We’re actually married, Jungkookie.”

Jungkook frowns, “You’re...” a pause, “Do you want me to go?”

Jungkook’s only wearing his underwear and one of Seokjin’s disgustingly expensive shirts and he’s fairly certain that’s a deal breaker in most marriages. But Yoongi seems awfully calm, more concerned with the bundle of tiny in his arms rather than his cheating husband. Maybe that’s a thing and Jungkook’s just narrow minded.

“We just live together.” Yoongi says after glancing at Jungkook’s confused face, “We always have and probably always will, so hyung just likes to say that we’re married because we mostly come as a package deal.”

“In bed too?” Jungkook can’t help but ask, much to Yoongi’s embarrassment who blushes all red and pulls his mask back over his face, refusing to look at either of them.

“Only if you want that.” Seokjin winks, before returning his attention to Yoongi’s kitten, “Now, what’s up with the little one?”

“There were some assholes and she was tiny and alone. So I saved her, but then she just wouldn’t stop crying so I tried to look for her mother. I didn’t find her.”

“So you decided to be her mother.”

Yoongi pouts, squeezing the soft baby closer to his chest, but he doesn’t deny it. The kitten peeks her little head out to rub it against Yoongi’s chest, purring loud enough that even Jungkook can hear it.

“Can I keep her?”

“Do you even know how to take care of a kitten?”

Another pout. “I’ll figure it out.”

“Yoongi-yah...”

“Uhm,” Jungkook interrupts, taking a tentative step forward, “I can help. Maybe. If you want me to.”

Yoongi’s eyes brighten at that, all shiny and hopeful like a kid’s, and Jungkook can’t help but smile, his previous fear forgotten somewhere.

“You have a cat?” Seokjin asks.

“Several of them. My friends, uhm, who I live with, Jimin and Taehyung, have a talent for finding strays and adopting them. So yeah, our home is more or less a cat shelter of sorts, so I might be able to help with the little one.”

“Wow, Yoongichi, how lucky! Jungkook’s gonna be over a lot so it’s perfect!”

Jungkook blushes at Seokjin’s easy proclamation, still a little taken aback by the fact that this is actually a thing and Seokjin likes him too.

“Uhm, also, maybe I should have said this first, but Tae works as a vet.”

“Do you know if he has time right now? Can you call him?”

“Yoongi’s never taken care of a cat before, so he’s a little panicked.” Seokjin whispers conspiratorially, as if it wasn’t obvious enough. Jungkook flicks his forehead and sticks his tongue out at the fight pose Seokjin slips into, fists raised high in front of his face.

“It’s okay, I can call him.” Jungkook says, then smiles, steps closer and reaches a hand to let the fluffy one smell him, “She’s gonna be fine, Yoongi-ssi. You already did a lot for her.”

Yoongi mumbles something underneath his breath, the low rumble of his voice earning a tiny meow from the kitten, “Hyung is fine, kid. And thank you.”

“You’re welcome, hyung.”

Unsurprisingly, Taehyung is all too willing to see the little one and while he initially tells Jungkook to bring Yoongi over, he suspiciously changes his mind halfway through the conversation and says that he’ll be coming over instead. It doesn’t take Jungkook long to put two and two together when both Jimin and Taehyung end up in Seokjin’s apartment.

“These are Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin,” Jungkook explains, “They also come as a package deal.”

“And who might you be?” Jimin asks, eyeing Seokjin suspiciously as he drapes himself over Jungkook, voice sugar sweet, “A friend, perhaps?”

He’s obviously not, but Jungkook frowns at the hint of a threat there, entirely not used to this Jimin. Seokjin takes it all in stride, his own smile not dimming one bit as he pulls Jungkook closer.

“Sure am. We just also happen to be in a relationship.” Seokjin’s voice sounds smoother somehow, a sudden air of authority to it, and it makes Jungkook dizzy, makes him lean even more against Seokjin, “Name’s Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Jin-hyung.”

Taehyung laughs then, glances at them from where he’s unfurling the kitten out of Yoongi’s little nest, “That doesn’t work on Jiminnie. Trust me, I’ve tried.”

Jungkook’s fairly certain Taehyung’s never been even remotely authoritative when it comes to Jimin, but Jimin only shrugs, a smirk playing on his lips, “You’re welcome to try, though, Jin-hyung.”

“Jimin-ah,” Jungkook says suddenly, not entirely pleased with the tense atmosphere, “I like Jin-hyung and I want you to like him too.”

And Jimin’s expression immediately softens at that, goes all warm and soft, the look specially reserved for Jungkook. It makes him happy, giddy really, this protective side of Jimin, even if he can sometimes get maybe a little too protective.

“Sorry hyung, for acting cocky,” Jimin says with a pretty smile, words light and honest, “I just want our Jungkookie to be happy.”

Seokjin seems slightly taken aback by that, letting go of Jungkook and scratching at the back of his head as he shakes Jimin’s outstretched hand. Jungkook laughs, knows well enough from his own experience just how hard it is to do anything but follow when Jimin’s acting conciliatory, all honest and soft and open.

They all look down at the sudden meow by Jimin’s leg, Yoongi’s tiny black ball of fluff having made her way from his embrace to Taehyung’s and now finally, to the cat whisperer, Jimin’s arms. Jimin coos at her and very easily picks her up to nuzzle her little tummy.

“All the cats like Jimin.” Jungkook explains, “Even the ones that won’t let anyone touch them, they just start purring for Jimin. It’s a frightening talent.”

“I’m trying to convince him to gather an army. We’ve already started back at our home.” says Taehyung.

“An army of cats! That’s a fantastic idea! My apartment can be a great place for cat storage. Even more so when Yoongi’s already started collecting them!”

Both Taehyung and Seokjin shut up at the murderous looks sent their way, Jimin’s only slightly softened by the kitten in his arms. They still high five on it when they’re not looking and at Taehyung’s puppy eyed look, Jungkook sighs and joins them as well.

After Jimin and Taehyung reassure Yoongi enough times that the kitten is completely fine and healthy and convince him that they should let her explore the apartment alone and get used to everything without the overwhelming presence of five people, they decide to go to a petshop to buy everything that she needs.

“What if she’s lonely?” Yoongi asks for the millionth time. They all decided to crowd inside Seokjin’s car and Jimin claimed shotgun before they even came out of the apartment, so now Taehyung and Jungkook are left with trying to reassure Yoongi that yes, his baby is fine and more independent than he gives her credit and she will be alright while they’re gone.

“Yoongi gets lonely if he’s left home alone, so he can’t help but worry.” Seokjin supplies with a glance in the rearview mirror.

“Jimin and Tae do too, but they’re literally glued together most of the time, so that rarely happens.”

“It’s not the same if you’re not there!” Jimin complains.

It’s hard to deny that, really. Jungkook’s considered moving out quite a few times, not because Taehyung or Jimin have ever told him anything or made him feel as if he doesn’t belong, just because he thought he might be relying on them too much. But he couldn’t, ultimately, because just as he relies on them so heavily, they, as well, undeniably count on Jungkook. He’s their person, just like how they are his.

Maybe Jungkook’s married to them the same way Seokjin’s married to Yoongi, a package deal.

“Maybe I should get her a friend.” Yoongi says, glancing at Taehyung for approval.

“Maybe not. You could, if you wanted, but usually cats are quite teritorial and have specific quirks to their personalities that just wouldn’t mesh with another’s.”

Yoongi takes that all in stride, “What if I’m not enough for her?”

“Yoongi-hyung,” Taehyung reaches for both of Yoongi’s hands, interlocking their fingers and looking at him with that warm, wide shiny look of his, all earnest and soft, “You are going to be great, the greatest parent. And Jiminnie and I are here for you whenever you need us, so you don’t have to worry about that, ok?”

Yoongi’s entire face flushes red, all the way to his ears, and he seems unable to look directly at Taehyung, so he’s left to stare at his lap and nod, much to Taehyung’s excitement. Give it to Taehyung to treat someone he just met as his best friend and also fluster them close to death. Jungkook’s not even sure when Taehyung found out Yoongi’s name.

Their trip to the petshop ends up being even more disastrous than Jungkook would have expected. He never expected it to go smoothly, because he’s been with Jimin and Taehyung before and he knows exactly just how opinionated they can get when it comes to how well they know their babies. But with the addition of Yoongi, who happens to be just as stubborn as the two, if not even more because it’s about his kitten, and Seokjin, who just likes to cause chaos wherever he goes, their quick run to the petshop ends up lasting a little over four hours.

“I’m never doing that again.” Jungkook says tiredly.

He’s been relegated to the front seat because Jimin and Yoongi have been arguing about the kitten’s name for at least an hour now and Jimin hates not being able to see the person he’s talking to.

“How could you ever consider naming your lovely kitten Cat?” Jimin asks, clearly distraught.

“Yeah, well, guess what? That’s what she is: a cat.”

“And I’m a human. Would you call me Human?”

“That’s different.”

“How is it different, hyung? C’mon, call me Human. You’re only allowed to call me by my name if you drop the horrendous name-- God, I can’t even call it a name-- the horrible choice for a name that is Cat.”

“Jimin-ah, that’s not fair.”

Jimin blinks, slightly taken aback by the sudden use of his name, but he gathers himself quickly enough, “Hm? What was that? What did you call me?”

Yoongi huffs, refusing to answer that. Jungkook knows himself how very hard it is to win Jimin and he can’t help but feel a little for Yoongi.

“Hyung,” Jimin whines, “Don’t ignore me! I won’t let you drop it.”

“I called you Jimin-ah. Isn’t that your name?”

“Exactly! And I like when you call my name,” Yoongi looks up at that, equal parts flustered and confused by the sudden turn of the conversation. Jimin coughs, face flushing red, “I mean, the way I like when you call my name, that’s also how the baby would feel if you gave her a proper name.”

Jungkook’s not entirely sure about that logic, but it seems to work on Yoongi, who ultimately sighs and gives in.

“Then what name would you have me give her?”

Jimin frowns, probably not having thought further than convincing Yoongi to drop Cat, but thankfully Taehyung comes to the rescue.

“She’s a tiny, pretty baby who will be overly spoiled by her five fathers, so wouldn’t Princess work?”

Jimin brightens at that, high fiving Taehyung and turning that dazzling, wide eyed, impossible to refuse look full power at Yoongi. Needless to say, the kitten’s name ends up being Princess.

She seems to like it too when they tell her, if her cheery meow and loud purring is any indication, and the rest of the day is spent teaching Yoongi how to take care of Princess. When it gets late enough, Seokjin offers to take all of them home and Jungkook’s not entirely sure how everything went by so fast.

♦ ♦ ♦

And, really, Jungkook had half expected the last two days to end up being some kind of very elaborate daydream he somehow made up, but Seokjin doesn’t disappear from his life for an indefinite amount of time, like Jungkook half expected. Instead, it becomes a thing for them.

Jungkook finds his place in Seokjin’s life as easily as Seokjin finds his in Jungkook’s and Jungkook doesn’t want to get ahead of himself and think some crazy stuff like how they might have been meant to be, but, he does think some things. Like how Seokjin doesn’t really like cooking, but he likes to cook for Jungkook, telling him how he doesn’t eat well enough and for a healthy body, working out is not enough if you don’t have the diet to back it up.

Jungkook works out because it’s fun for him, but he quite likes the lunches Seokjin prepares for him and even more so, he likes how touchy Seokjin seems to get after his workouts, hanging all over him and stealing kisses whenever he can get away with it.

“You just smell so good, Jungkook-ah.”

Jungkook’s almost done with his routine so he’s sweaty and gross, while Seokjin’s dressed in a bright sweater that’s probably more expensive than this entire gym and wearing one of his colognes that drives Jungkook crazy, light but persistent with just a hint of something spicy.

“Really, hyung? What do I smell like, teen spirit?”

Seokjin snorts, “Like I want to bite you. Can I?”

Seokjin also has a thing for biting. He likes to mark Jungkook up, but more than that he likes to literally bite him, break skin kind of bite. Jungkook should probably mind that, but, more times than not, he likes the thrill of it, likes the pain of it, how it so easily swirls into pleasure, likes to see Seokjin’s lips red with his blood and pupils blown with want.

He’s seen Jimin before, all marked up from Taehyung’s mouth, and he wondered, something hot swirling in the pit of his stomach at the thought, how it would feel. Taehyung, of course, being the good friend that he is, offered to show him, why not satisfy your curiosity, Gukkie, but that wasn’t what he wanted, not really.

But now, as Seokjin looks at him in the crowded gym, eyes glinting almost red, and asks Jungkook if he can bite him, it hits entirely too close to home.

“Here?”

“Why not? You look good, I look fantastic, we would be making the rest a favor.”

“I don’t think that’s quite how it works.”

This is maybe the first time in his life that Jungkook’s been the voice of ration, but, really, he’s this close to just giving in. After all, the possibility that nobody calls the police on them if they start fucking right now does exist. The biting does probably tip the scales out of their favor, but you can’t win without taking risks.

“Never took you for a coward, Gukkie,” Seokjin shrugs, “But I guess--”

Jungkook pulls him in by his stupid sweater and shuts him up with well timed kiss. “You were saying?”

“A peck, really? A sweet coward, what can I say?”

Jungkook rolls his eyes at Seokjin’s clear taunt and pulls him back in. Seokjin’s mouth is all soft and it tastes like Jungkook’s strawberry lip balm, sweet and pleasant as Jungkook sucks his lower lip between his teeth, bites down just to hear Seokjin’s tiny moan as he parts his lips for him. It takes Seokjin a little longer to gather himself after Jungkook pulls back this time, both of them a little out of breath.

“Next goes my shirt?” Seokjin whispers breathlessly, eyes slightly out of focus.

“I could buy a house with that shirt, no way you’re taking it off.”

“Aw, it’s okay, Jungkook-ah, hyung can just buy you a house.”

Jungkook huffs, presses a finger to Seokjin’s mouth, “How sweet, my very own sugar daddy. What are Jimin and Tae gonna say about that?”

“Thank you very much.”

“You gonna buy a house for each of us?”

“As if the three of you would live separately. It’ll just have to be a house big enough for all the strays.”

“They’re not strays hyung, they’re part of the family.”

Jungkook’s only half paying attention to their conversation as he swipes his thumb along Seokjin’s lower lip, all wet from Jungkook’s mouth.

“This is a gym, for fuck’s sake. Get the fuck out of here, you creeps!’

Jungkook immediately lets his hand drop at the loud, angry tone. Seokjin looks at him for a few more seconds, before he very slowly turns toward the source of the sudden noise. He’s smiling, but it’s one of those smiles, the ones Jungkook’s seen several times on Jimin’s face, that are more scary than friendly.

“You creeps? That’s kind of rude, don’t you think?”

The man, a burly, angry looking dude not wearing a shirt, snorts, steps closer and raises his brows in a challenge, “And what the fuck are you doing here? This isn’t a dating spot, get the fuck outta here!”

“Oh, it isn’t? Then what about those two? Aren’t you gonna tell them to fuck off?” Seokjin motions to a couple making out in the middle of the gym, the dude’s hands slipping underneath the hem of her pants, “But no, of course, I understand what the problem here is--”

The man’s lip curls in distaste, “Then get the fuck out of here.”

“So if I start working out, the problem is solved.”

Seokjin’s wearing jeans and dress shoes, the last things you would go to the gym with, but before the man gets to say anything else, Seokjin makes his way to one of the weight lifting machines and sets it to the highest weight. Jungkook’s pretty sure neither he, nor the burly man would actually be able to lift that, but Seokjin only daintily sits down and smiles.

Jungkook almost wants to protest, but then Seokjin very easily lifts all that weight, smile unchanging, two times with both arms, then, after a pause to let that sink in, three times with only one arm.

“Fuck.” Jungkook says at the same time as the man. They both sound slightly terrified, but Jungkook’s mostly carries the sentiment of please fuck me right now rather than anything else.

Seokjin winks at him, reaching to wipe his nonexistent sweat before he gets up, “Woo, that was one hell of a workout,” he pauses as he waits for the man to say anything else, “But now I’m tired. Let’s go home, baby.”

It takes Jungkook quite a few seconds to realise that, yes, he is the baby, before he’s up on his feet. Seokjin pats the man’s chest as he passes by him before he pulls Jungkook in and kisses him right there and then.

“That was the hottest and most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me.” Jungkook says once they’re out of the gym and out of earshot, “And now I really need you to fuck me.”

“Oh, wow, what a coincidence, me too.” Seokjin laughs, “But maybe we should get home before that.”

“I don’t think I can wait that long. Can I blow you at least?”

Seokjin freezes halfway through putting on his seatbelt and his eyes are outright dark when he meets Jungkook’s, “I will not be held accountable for any accident that causes.”

“Yes you will, hyung. Now focus on driving and let me do my thing.”

They almost die at least four times, but Jungkook manages to get Seokjin to come just before he pulls into his driveway and he licks his lips all satisfied when Seokjin stops the car.

“Stop looking so goddamn smug before I snap and fuck you right on this car.”

“Oh, what a tragedy that would be.” Jungkook says, tucking Seokjin back in and patting his thigh as he gets up and out of the car.

“Where did the innocent, sensitive man that cried because my socks didn’t match even go?”

“I don’t remember such a thing happening. Did you dream of me crying, hyung? That’s kinky.”

“Keep talking, Gukkie. Just wait ‘till I make you cry today.” Seokjin says, snorts at Jungkook’s clear look of anticipation, “And I’ll make sure to film it, too.”

“Is Yoongi-hyung home?”

“Nope, he’s with Tae and Jimin.”

Jungkook’s already buzzing with restless energy as Seokjin unlocks and holds the door open, eyes so dark Jungkook could drown in them. He sure hopes Seokjin’s being serious about making him cry.

“Welcome home, you two!” Jungkook freezes with his shirt halfway off and Seokjin audibly groans. “Wow, there, tone down the excitement guys. It’s good to see you, too.”

It’s not a familiar voice and Jungkook hesitates for a few seconds between pulling his shirt off or keeping it on before ultimately pulling it off. There are actually two people in Seokjin’s apartment that Jungkook has never seen before and he has to fight the physical urge to hide behind Seokjin.

“Let’s be honest, Seok-ah, what do you think I’d rather see? Your face or Jungkook here getting fucked within an inch of his life.”

“Well, the good part is that you can see both. I’d love to fuck Jungk--”

The second person, a very tall, serious looking person covers Seok’s mouth before he gets to finish, looking both apologetic and uncomfortable, “What he’s trying to say is that it’s very nice to finally meet you, Jungkook-ah.”

“I’m, uhm-- it’s very nice to meet you too.” Jungkook says, even though he doesn’t even know their names.

Seokjin sighs, finally accepting the fact that there won’t be any fucking as Princess appears as well and starts rubbing herself between his and Jungkook’s legs, warily watching the two newcomers.

“These two are Jung Hoseok and Kim Namjoon, they used to be my friends.”

“Used to be?”

“As of today, they no longer are. So yes, used to be.”

“Aw, that’s so mean hyung, we just missed you.”

“As if. You just wanted to see Jungkookie.”

“And Princess.” Hoseok says, smiling. He has a very bright, heart shaped smile that matches the cheery tone of his voice perfectly, something almost calming to his presence even despite how loudly he speaks, “Yoongi-hyung’s been talking about her and Jungkookie nonstop, so we had to meet at one point.”

“And that point had to be today?” Seokjin asks at the same time Jungkook asks, “What did he say about me?”

Hoseok completely ignores Seokjin’s question, “That you’re loud in bed.”

“Ignore him, Jungkookie, that’s not what he said.” Namjoon says gently, a dimple poking his cheek, almost as tentative as his smile, “He just told us how incredible it is to see Jin-hyung so head over heels in love with someone. And that you saved him and Princess.”

Namjoon crouches to try and get Princess to come his way and in the very short shorts he’s wearing, Jungkook can’t help but linger on the flex of his thighs.

Seokjin snorts, “He didn’t say that.” But his ears are all red and Jungkook can’t help but smile, all fond and warm, reaching over to flick one of them.

“Why are you embarrassed then, hyung?”

Seokjin opens his mouth to protest, but Jungkook takes the chance to kiss him, heart skipping a beat at the tiny sound of surrender that earns him. He reaches to drag light fingers across the shell of Seokjin’s ear as they pull back, if only to see him shiver, breath stuttering under Jungkook’s fingers.

“Brat.” Seokjin says, slow to open his eyes. Jungkook almost kisses him again.

“Man, Yoongi-hyung wasn’t lying. You two are adorable.”

Seokjin groans, “And you two are leaving. It was very nice seeing you, we had a blast. Now you can go.”

Namjoon looks up from Princess, having finally managed to convince her to let him pick her up and frowns, “We just became friends. And I want to get to know Jungkook too, hyung.”

“Yeah, hyung! It’s not fair that you’re keeping Jungkook all to yourself!”

And it doesn’t take long for Seokjin to finally give in and let them stay. Jungkook’s pretty sure he’s missed them too, even if he’s too stubborn to acknowledge it.

Namjoon and Hoseok work surprisingly well together even despite how different they seem and while Hoseok brings out the chaotic side of Seokjin, Namjoon tones it down. It’s fascinating to watch, but more times than not, Jungkook finds himself absorbed in the conversation, the two including him as if they’ve known each other for years. It’s oddly comforting.

“Oh, right, I forgot,” Namjoon says, both of his dimples showing with his smile now, “We wanted to say hello to Yoongi-hyung too. Do you happen to know where he is?”

“He’s over at Jungkook’s, with Tae and Jimi.”

“He’s been there all day? Hyung? Our Yoongi-hyung?” Hoseok asks, suddenly intrigued.

“He even slept over last night.” Jungkook shrugs, “I see him back home more than I see him here.”

“Oh, there’s just no way. Did Yoongi tell you everything about my love life but didn’t mention his?” Seokjin asks, a glint to his eyes.

“Maybe we should wait until he’s ready to tell us?” Namjoon proposes, but Hoseok only pulls him down to kiss his nose twice and then his mouth once.

“I absolutely love you, but this is Yoongi we are talking about. He’d rather have his tongue pulled out than tell us.” Hoseok says, before turning with shiny eyes to Seokjin, “Which of the two is it? Jimin or Taehyung?”

This is news to Jungkook as well. He noticed that Yoongi started spending more and more time with the two of them, but he just thought that Taehyung and Jimin adopted him, like all the lovely strays filling their home. Now that Seokjin mentions it, maybe it’s not quite like that, but if that’s true, then there’s definitely not an or there.

“Oh my sweet summer child, it’s awfully bold of you to assume it’s one or the other.”

Hoseok’s face falls, “Both?!”

Seokjin cackles as Namjoon’s eyes widen at that, “Yes, both. Our very own sweet Yoongichi.”

“Jungkookie, can you give me your address?” Hoseok asks when he manages to gather himself, “This is just something I have to see with my own eyes to believe.”

“Yeah, sure.” Jungkook says, quite curious himself.

Hoseok kisses both of his cheeks as thanks and Namjoon ruffles his hair, apologising for interrupting them and promising to make up for it next time.

“If you walk in on Yoongichi, you will be forgiven.” Seokjin says, “If you also manage to catch it on tape, I’ll even owe you.”

Hoseok links arms with Namjoon and salutes, smiling all wide and pretty, “You can count on me, hyung.”

“I’m pretty sure that you could very easily convince Jimin to tape that.” Jungkook says after the two of them are gone, making his way to the kitchen in search of something to munch on.

“Yeah, but this is more amusing. It’s only funny if they don’t know they’re being filmed.”

Jungkook laughs, makes a tiny satisfied noise when he finds a basket of apples, “I liked them, Hoseok-hyung and Namjoon-hyung. They’re nice.”

“A cockblocking pain in the ass maybe.”

“You like them too.”

Seokjin smiles, something almost nostalgic about the curve of his smile, “I do. They’re grossly and happily in love now, but when I met them they were a real tragic case.”

“Why?”

“Well, they’ve always been grossly in love, but their parents were really against it. A Romeo and Juliet case, only way worse. Namjoon got turned when he was almost killed by Hoseok’s father and Hoseok immediately asked to be turned as well. Namjoon was super against it, had even embraced the live alone, die alone shit creed, but that wasn’t going to fly as long as Hoseok had anything to say about it. As you saw yourself, now they can be grossly in love for the rest of time.”

Jungkook’s not sure what to reply to first, his head spinning, but the most pressing matter out of everything Seokjin’s said seems to be, “Wait, turned?”

Seokjin frowns, “Yeah, turned? From human to vampire?”

“From human to vampire.” Jungkook stops, waits for his brain to catch up to that statement, “They’re fucking vampires?!”

“Why is that so shocking? I’m a vampire, is it really that surprising for my friends to be vampires too?”

“You’re a vampire?!”

Seokjin blinks, his long, grandma blink, once, twice, squints, “You’re fucking with me, aren’t you?”

“How would I be fucking with you?”

They stare at each other like that for a few seconds, both equally unsure of what to say. In hindsight, maybe Jungkook shouldn’t be this surprised. Seokjin being a vampire doesn’t feel like anything more than a very convincing explanation of his blood and biting kink and looking back, a lot of their conversations start to make more sense with that little piece of information.

“So you’re vampire,” Jungkook says at the same time Seokjin says, “Well, now you know that.”

“Will that be a problem? I wasn’t being exactly subtle about it and I was fairly certain you knew, what with you letting me bite you all the time.”

“I thought it was a kink of yours!”

“Explains the enthusiasm.” Seokjin grins, “So how are we feeling about this?” There’s something there, to the tone of his voice, the wariness of his eyes and Jungkook wants all of that gone.

“So you like drinking blood.”

“Well, it tastes good.” Seokjin says. Then, almost as an afterthought, “And it does also keep me alive.”

Jungkook grins. He puts down his half finished apple and slaps his neck, “Then what are you waiting for? Come get your juice!”

So Seokjin may not actually have a biting kink as much as he needs blood to survive, but as he presses open mouthed kisses to Jungkook’s neck, letting his teeth catch on the soft skin, Jungkook’s pretty sure he does.

“So my boyfriend’s a vampire.” Jungkook announces grandly.

Taehyung frowns, “Yeah, and?”

“What do you mean ‘Yeah, and?’, aren’t you surprised?”

“You’re talking about Jin-hyung right?” Jungkook nods. “You were literally there when we met him. So why would we be surprised?”

“You could tell when you met him? How?”

“You were literally bitten within an inch of your life and he tried to do that charm thing on me,” Jimin glances at Taehyung for help.

“Glamour,”

“Yeah, that, he tried to glamour me in the first five minutes since meeting me.”

“Oh my god, he can glamour people? That’s so fucking cool.” Jungkook says, then frowns, “Wait, do you think he glamoured me.”

“Nope,” Taehyung says, “I would have noticed.”

“Then if you knew, why didn’t you tell me?”

“That he didn’t glamour you?”

“That he was a vampire!”

Taehyung stares, blinks a few times, then turns to Jimin for help. Jungkook can almost see the question marks above his head.

“Jungkook-ah, when exactly did you find out he is a vampire?” Jimin asks, a very amused smile curling on his face.

“Like, yesterday?”

Jimin and Taehyung burst into laughter at that, bright and loud and entirely too amused for Jungkook’s situation. He’s starting to think everybody but him already knew.

“You didn’t know until yesterday that your boyfriend who literally drinks your blood every other day is a vampire?”

Jungkook pouts, because that’s just not fair, “How was I supposed to know? He’s the first vampire I have ever met.”

“The first vampire you have ever met?” Jimin asks, squints, “You’re positively certain?”

Jungkook shrugs, uncertain where Jimin’s going with this. He shares a look with Taehyung, something amused, if not even disbelieving and Jungkook feels horribly out of the loop. It’s not unusual, really, Jungkook’s pretty certain Taehyung and Jimin can carry telepathic conversations, but they don’t usually exclude him quite like this. Maybe they even include him too much at times.

“Uhm, no?” Jimin’s expressions brightens at that, glancing quite meaningfully at Taehyung. “Like, sure, I might’ve met random vampires in my day to day life without knowing, but I’ve never known one personally.” Jungkook says, “Hell, I didn’t even know they actually exist!”

“Never?” Jimin stresses, oddly stuck on that.

“I mean, I know Jin-hyung now?”

Taehyung bursts into laughter just as Jimin’s face outright falls, looking somehow betrayed. Jungkook’s fairly sure he would never do that, but maybe Jimin just feels bad because Jungkook calls Taehyung and Seokjin hyung, but not him. He was pretty sure he didn’t mind, but maybe he suddenly does.

Taehyung looks ready to fall over, “You’re the best, oh my god.”

“What did I do?” Jungkook asks, “The both of you are being weird.”

Jimin snorts, his previous disbelief morphing into amusement as he throws an arm around Jungkook’s neck and pulls him close, eyes bright and shiny with mischief. “I know this might actually come as a surprise to you, but guess what?”

Jimin’s whispering, so Jungkook answers on the same tone, voice all hushed as if hiding a secret, “What?”

“Tae’s a vampire.”

Jimin starts giggling as soon as the words are out of his mouth, gracefully pulling back and draping himself over an equally amused Taehyung, so Jungkook rightfully thinks he’s joking.

“You’re joking.”

“My good dude, my best bro, my absolute homie, I’m fairly certain the first thing I did when we met was introduce myself as a creature of the night that thrives on blood. No way you missed that intro.”

“You tell that to everybody! How was I supposed to know you were being serious?”

“I also tell everybody my name is Taehyung! How did you decide I was being serious then?”

Jungkook glances at Jimin for help, but the little imp is barely breathing with how hard he’s laughing, cheeks all bunched and red, eyes curled into pretty crescents. Jimin should be thankful Jungkook loves him so much, because else he would have beaten his ass like twenty times now.

“No, really now,” Jimin manages between bouts of laughter, “Did you really never even question it? I literally have bite marks on my neck. You’ve even seen the bites on my thighs! Very obviously fang marks!”

“You’re the kinkiest people in existence! Even if I didn’t know you, I would probably be able to tell you’re into biting! With or without fangs!”

“Okay, fair.” Taehyung says, “Even if I’m pretty sure you walked in on me feeding more than once. But ok, let’s say that wasn’t enough for you to question it.” Jimin snorts. “But what about the teeth? The unusually sharp canines and weird eyes that change colour? Never wondered about that?”

Jungkook pouts, feeling unfairly accused “There’s people and people and you’re my friend. I wasn’t going to question how you looked.”

Jimin coos at that, not giving Jungkook time to prepare before he skips around and jumps on his back, wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning over to pepper his cheek with kisses. Taehyung doesn’t miss a beat as he hugs Jungkook as well, making it his job to kiss the other cheek.

“It’s ok, Jungkook-ah. Even if you just found out I’m a vampire after years and years of friendship, I still love you.”

Jungkook sighs, “I love you, too. Both of you. Even if you’re assholes for ganging up on me like that”

Taehyung gives him one more warm kiss before he pulls back with a wink, but Jimin seems to have settled quite comfortably, so Jungkook slips his hands under his knees to hold him up properly.

“Is anybody else a vampire?” Jungkook asks, glancing at Jimin.

“Don’t look at me, I’m definitely a human.” Jimin says at the same time Taehyung says, “Yoongi-hyung.”

“Well, I was expecting that. I have also decided that from now on, everyone is a vampire until proven, uhm, to not be one.”

“Vampires aren’t that often of an occurrence. Most people live their entire lives without ever meeting one.” Taehyung explains.

That seems highly unlikely seeing as how Jungkook’s met four vampires only in the last month and also found out that one of his best friends who he also happens to live with is a vampire too.

“Guess Jungkook just so happens to be something like vampire bait.”

Vampire bait, Jungkook’s definitely adding that to his job application.
