Work Text:
“You’re better than him.” Kirishima froze, his hands shaking around Izuku’s waist. Fingers flexed against the soft fabric of his shirt, pressing deep enough to feel the give of flesh against his hands.
Better than who?
Who was him ?
From the corner of his eye, Kirishima saw movement and he turned on instinct to see what it was.
Todoroki.
No.
That wasn’t possible.
He wanted to say something, to ask everything, but Izuku was already pressing a goodbye kiss to the corner of his mouth and without thinking he turned to leave.
His hands shook as he walked down the hallway, the alcohol in his system ebbing and flowing around him until he couldn’t think straight anymore.
Who? Who was he? Who was Kirishima better than?
It couldn’t be Todoroki, it was clear that the number two hero was better than Kirishima who sat at number 8 currently, knocked down from his reigning number 7 position after a recent rescue that saved numerous people including a favored politician and shuffled the scoreboard.
It definitely wasn’t Bakubro either. Izuku thought Bakugou hung the moon and stars and the number three hero could have probably turned into a villain and Izuku still would have worshiped his heroics.
So who? Who? Who ? Who was Kirishima better than?
The thoughts raced through his head for hours and hours and hours, leaving the man to lie in bed as he tried to sleep fitfully.
Finally, after a few restless hours of sleep, Kirishima woke up for work, a pounding in his head that was tempered by medication and coffee, but that still lurked behind his eyes and made him squint.
The first step to dealing with his problem was a phone call.
It took two rings for the phone to be answered and an unwelcoming, “What the fuck do you want?” to greet him.
“Hey, bro, um, I have a quick question.”
Silence met him before a deep sigh and shuffling, the obvious sounds of blankets being moved around and a bed creaking.
“What did he say?”
Kirishima hesitated briefly, the anxiety of it all still swirling in his gut.
“Ah, he said, well, he said that I was better than someone but, like, I don’t know who? Who am I better than, Bakugou?”
A deeper sigh greeted him over the line and the creaking of the bed again, a quick expletive.
“What were you talking about before that?”
“Nothing! I said I had to go home because I had work in the morning, but other than that we didn’t talk about anything.”
“You went home last night?”
“Yeah?”
“Huh.” Shuffling sounded and a groan. “Fuck, my head hurts.”
“Well yeah, you kind of drank yourself into a stupor, dude.”
“Shut up.” A door opened and closed and more shuffling before: “Ah. That’s fucking gross.”
“What is?”
“Half n’ Half is still here.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah.” Bakugou murmured back. “Yeah.”
There was more clattering and Kirishima held the phone closer to his face as glass clinked and some type of fluid started dripping.
“Listen, he was talking about that one dude, the one who stole your spot.”
“Colossus?”
“Yeah, sure, whatever. You’re better than him, he just got a lucky break. You’ll take your place again soon.”
“Oh, that makes more sense.”
“Why, did you have another person in mind?”
Kirishima blushed behind his phone, murmuring into it a quick thanks and goodbye.
Kirishima pushed the thoughts out of his mind and continued on his way to work.

Bakugou had grown used to his husband’s personality.
Or perhaps it was better to say that he was forced to get used to it.
After being diagnosed with Quirklessness, Izuku had...changed.
The lack of quirk to push him forward made him anxious to cover up his weaknesses with some type of strength and the best course of action for him was analytics.
Izuku was smart.
Bakugou had known that - had always known that. The two tied in everything that required brainpower and had reached milestone after milestone together as toddlers. But Izuku had a knack for analytics that surpassed even Bakugou.
He could tell strengths and weaknesses, strategies and tactics, likes and dislikes from the littlest of information.
After his diagnosis, however, he clung to that gift like a lifeline, his desire to know everything, to have some leg up on everyone vital to his survival and mental wellbeing.
It, frankly, had terrified the young Bakugou.
That type of mania at such a young age was worrying at the least and downright horrifying at best and Bakugou had tried to distance the two of them.
He tried everything: physical, mental, emotional, etc, etc, etc.
But nothing worked.
No matter how hard he pushed, how many times he spat at him, how many times he told him to leave him alone, the nerd never listened.
Perhaps it was because Izuku knew Bakugou the best - hell, probably knew Bakugou better than Bakugou knew himself - that he clung to him so selfishly.
No matter how scared Bakugou was of him, Izuku refused to be abandoned and no one stood at Bakugou’s side when he tried to get them to keep the two apart. He was always shamed by his mother for being mean, the other kids always thought he was joking when he expressed unease, and the other adults all assumed it was a mild case of Bakugou being a bully.
After years of trying to run away, Katsuki gave up.
There was nothing he could do about Izuku and he admitted defeat; if only to himself. If no one would accept that the other boy was a little off in the head, then the least Katsuki could do was keep him tied down.
Or at least that’s what he told himself.
In reality, he just liked the nerd.
Which may sound weird to anybody else if they heard his thoughts about Izuku, but the other man wasn’t manic all the time, especially around Katsuki whom he knew inside and out. He was brave and intelligent and he always had something to say about Katsuki’s fighting that improved his skills. He was a valuable asset and his kisses tasted like honey and sunflower seeds.
A bonus to say the least.
The other men...well, that was a downside for sure.
It was something he had to accept that Izuku used sex as a means of interrogation, especially since it was probably his fault that Izuku picked up that trait.
He had found that sex was the best way to control Izuku and, in turn, Izuku found it was the best way to control others.
Tit for tat, as they say.
But there was something about it that was starting to rub Katsuki the wrong way. Something that made the hair on the back of neck stand at attention and his blood start to boil every time Kirishima called him in the middle of the night with worries about Katsuki’s husband.
It wasn’t the sex per say, it was the fact that he was tired of seeing Deku wear people down.
It felt even more complacent than running from the man - he was a hero yet here he was letting his spouse ruin people.

Can you come over?
Kirishima didn’t have to think twice before sending a confirmation back to Izuku.
He was at the Bakugous’ door in the hour, knocking politely if excitedly. It was Katsuki who opened the door, a point that no less excited Kirishima.
“Bro!” He went in for a hug and Katsuki let him. “Didn’t expect you to be here!”
“At my own house?”
Kirishima rubbed the back of his head, waving his phone before answering.
“Izuku texted.”
“Ah.”
Kirishima nodded awkwardly at the answer, his excitement waning as he lowered his phone and looked away from his best friend whose arms had crossed over his chest as soon as the two parted.
“Do you...do you want me to leave?” Kirishima’s brows were knitted together, his hand not leaving the back of head in his confusion. “Did something happen?”
“No and yes. We had a little fight.” Katsuki glanced behind him, at the hallway with the bedroom. “Waking up to Half n’ Half in my house was not a fun experience. Deku accused me of ‘pitying’ the bastard for whatever trauma he yanked out of Icy Hot. He’s been getting out of hand lately.” Katsuki suddenly looked back to Kirishima. “He almost sent you into full panic mode, didn’t he?”
“No-“
“Don’t lie, Kirishima, I know my husband and I know you .”
Kirishima hesitated for a moment before voicing his thoughts:
“The fight was about me, wasn’t it?”
Katsuki looked away from him, looking back at him from the corner of his eye before sighing.
“It was about Deku and his shitty habits. He needed to be put back in his place.”
Kirishima rubbed at his arm awkwardly, not liking the sound of Katsuki’s words but understanding them to a degree.
Izuku was a lot of things - manipulative was one of many attributes. Kirishima knew that, had known that since he first found himself with his best friend’s husband in his lap without any hesitation on his end. Izuku knew how to push, knew how to make anything and everything seem normal and okay when it really wasn’t.
But it was hard not to let him get to you.
“Where is he?” Kirishima knew where he was and Katsuki knew he knew, but it was a different question that he didn’t want to accuse his friend of.
“He’s fine.” Katsuki rolled his eyes at Kirishima. “Probably more fine than he should be.”
Katsuki turned on his heel, Kirishima falling into step.
As he expected, they headed down the hall and into the bedroom.
Kirishima didn’t know what he expected, but it wasn’t for Izuku to be sitting calmly on the bed. The green-haired man threw him a smile, standing up from his seat and heading towards Kirishima, arms outspread.
Kirishima wrapped his arms around the other man on instinct, Izuku’s arms coming up to wrap around his neck, a big smile gracing his face. He leaned up on his toes, mouth drawing close enough to touch Kirishima’s ear.
“I’m scared, Kiri.”
Without a thought, Kirishima pulled the man closer, turning to shield him further from the man behind them both.
“What?”
“He’s really angry, Kiri. I don’t know what he’ll do to me.”
Kirishima turned his head to look behind him with wide eyes. Bakugou had his arms folded across his chest, watching them both with a bored expression, door closed behind him.
“Shut the fuck up, Deku. Kirishima, don’t let him get to you. He just wants an excuse to see us fight.”
Kirishima’s arms fell away from around Izuku’s hips immediately as a disappointed sigh breathed against his neck.
“You never let me have any fun, Kacchan.”
“Your idea of ‘fun’ is disgusting.”
Izuku shrugged at the statement, arms dropping from Kirishima’s neck to his chest.
“Kiri, kiss me.”
Kirishima turned bewildered eyes downward before turning to Katsuki for help.
“Get off of him, you shitty nerd.” Katsuki came forward, his shoulders brushing Kirishima’s as he gripped the back of his husband’s neck like he was a naughty feline. “Kirishima, you let him walk all over you. Sometimes you just need to shut him up to get him to behave.”
“Oh? And I suppose you have a plan for that, Kacchan?” Izuku grinned with all of his teeth, his shoulders hunched as his neck was manhandled. “What are you going to do? Gag me?”
His only response was a smirk uplifting Katsuki’s lips before he was hauled backwards and thrown onto the bed.
Izuku was immediately scooting backwards across the bed towards the headboard. The grin on his face had fallen far from where it had been previously, but it still lingered with a worried tinge on the fringe of his mouth.
“You wouldn’t do that, would you, Kacchan? It’s such a weak way out, don’t you think?” Katsuki continued to ignore the other man, turning instead to rummage inside a bedside table. “Come on, Kacchan, that’s such a lame move. Can’t you shut me up with force? Cut out my tongue? I know you want to.”
“Listen, Kirishima, sit down and I’ll show you how to handle this one or leave right now. You can leave at any time, of course, I’m not going to force you to stay, but don’t try and stop me.” He pulled out a slip of fabric and a pair of heavy cuffs as he spoke. “He isn’t anywhere he doesn’t want to be right now. You have to trust me on this. I’m not hurting him.”
The words had little calming effect on Kirishima who grew more worried as the other hero spoke.
“That, uh, doesn’t sound very reassuring, dude.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes but turned fully to look at Kirishima.
“I wouldn’t hurt my husband. You know that right, Kirishima?”
Kirishima found himself nodding because, yeah, Kirishima knew his friend wasn’t the type to abuse somebody just as much as he knew Izuku wasn’t the type to be abused. The situation, if he was honest with himself, was closer to being more reversed; the green-haired man known for being manipulative and cruel.
If Katsuki was raising his hand against Izuku, he’d probably be dead by now.
“Please stop ignoring me.”
“No, shut up.” Katsuki didn’t even bother to turn away from Kirishima. “Listen to me, Kirishima, I’m going to wreck him-”
“Oh please do.”
“But he isn’t being hurt. So don’t stop me.” Kirishima nodded slowly. Katsuki walked him backwards until Kirishima’s legs hit the edge of the chair against the wall and he fell into the seat. “Trust me.”
Katsuki hesitated for a moment, hand still on Kirishima’s shoulder before he leaned down and pressed an unsure kiss to the corner of the redhead’s lips. He pulled back, a question in his eyes and Kirishima answered him with a goofy smile that he couldn’t keep from upturning his lips at the gesture that the blond usually steered away from.
Katsuki gave a small smile back before it dropped from his lips, face hardening as he turned back around to the bed.
He stalked towards it, the slip of fabric and cuffs hanging heavy in one of his hands. He threw a knee up, reaching out and gripping one of Izuku’s ankles and yanking him towards him. Izuku scrambled, twisting around and clawing at the sheets as he was dragged back towards the end of the bed.
“Wait, Kacchan, I don’t want the gag! You know I don’t like it!”
When words and struggling didn’t work, Izuku flipped back around, hands raising to Katsuki’s shoulder as he was pulled half off the bed, lower half firmly between the other’s thighs. His fingers pressed pleadingly to Katsuki’s neck and jaw, pulling himself up so he could mouth at Katsuki’s chin.
“Please? Please?” He peppered kisses along Katsuki’s jaw, fingers moving to twist around the blond’s shirt. “I’ll be real quiet. So quiet; not even a moan. I swear!”
“Lying won’t get you anywhere, Deku.”
“It has gotten me pretty far, actually.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes, pushing the other man back onto the bed and flipping him onto his stomach. He pulled Izuku’s arms behind his back, ignoring the fake cry of pain and cuffing the man’s hands together. He slipped the piece of fabric over Izuku’s head, gripping his hair to still his struggling and pushing the fabric in his mouth with insistent fingers until Izuku caved and let the fabric be tied behind his head, locked firmly in his mouth.
Katsuki sat back to admire his work, hands falling to grip Izuku’s hips, fingers slipping under his shirt and rucking it up until his armpits stopped his progress. He leaned down, pressing the front of his body against the back of Izuku’s until he could mouth at the other’s neck, hands splayed against his chest, rubbing the flesh there and squeezing whatever he could get a grip on.
Kirishima could see Izuku’s face where it was turned pressed against the bed. His brows were furrowed in discomfort, eyes squeezed shut. He looked pitiful and it took everything in Kirishima’s willpower not to rush over and help the man. He knew it was fake, could see it in the way Izuku’s brows softened every few seconds before he remembered himself in his pleasure.
Katsuki trailed his hands away from Izuku’s chest, feeling along the line of his stomach and scratching at the hair that led from his bellybutton to the edge of his pants. In one jerking movement, he hauled Izuku up against him with a grip on his pants, pressing the two together roughly. The green-haired man made a noise behind his gag and Kirishima could see a smirk on Katsuki’s lips.
“Like that? Don’t worry, Deku, I’ll give you exactly what you deserve.”
Katsuki pulled back, letting Izuku collapse against the bed, the man grunting at the treatment. Katsuki pulled his shirt over his head, stepping off the mattress and unbuckling his own pants as he wandered over to the side table again, pulling out a tube and tossing it next to Izuku’s face.
He yanked his pants off, stepping out of them and moving back behind Izuku to rid the man of his own pants.
Katsuki climbed behind Izuku, gripping his ass in his open palms and squeezing the cheeks until he could see the other man’s hole. A grin curved Katsuki’s lips as he leaned forward, licking a strip up the middle of his husband’s ass, loving the way Izuku tensed up beneath him. He could feel the green haired man’s fingers grazing over his own blond locks. He had to stop himself from leaning up and letting the other man run his fingers through his hair like he did whenever they laid on the couch together to watch a movie.
He bit down on Izuku’s left cheek in annoyance and felt the other jolt. Katsuki smirked against the skin. He reached up to grab the lube bottle and leaned back, squirting the fluid down Izuku’s crack and watching as it ran down.
He thumbed at the hole, the tip slipping in with the help of the lube and Katsuki couldn’t help but laugh as Izuku’s hips swayed back at the intrusion. He hooked his thumb inside, still gripping Izuku’s asscheek. He brought the other hand up before he brought it down hard against the other cheek.
Izuku jolted again, repositioning his knees so he could stop himself from falling over.
Katsuki brought his hand down again and again and again, watching as the cheek reddened before he lit his hand up, feeling the small sparks of his quirk popping off in his palm. This time, when he brought his hand down, he made sure to rub in the sparks on the already red skin.
Izuku was grunting and groaning against the pain, but he didn’t pull his hips away and he stayed steady on his knees.
Katsuki finally stopped, leaving his palm on the blistering flesh as he watched Izuku’s back muscles tighten.
“You look good like this.” He pulled his thumb out and spread Izuku’s cheeks again. “Doesn’t he, Kirishima?”
“Please don’t bring me into this.” Kirishima was half-covering his face as if he could shield himself from Izuku’s pain.
Katsuki just hummed in reply, too distracted with watching his husband’s ass.
He stopped to press two fingers inside, sliding them past the ring of muscles and rubbing against his walls, Katsuki pressed his front to Izuku’s back, kissing his shoulder blade and running his tongue up the man’s spine before biting harshly at his shoulder.
He pressed in another finger, stretching Izuku out and pumping slowly inside. He bit harder, smoothing his free hand over the green-haired man’s stomach and feeling how it jumped against his touch. Katsuki dug his nails into the flesh, pulling down and reveling in the whine it brought out of Izuku.
He knocked Izuku’s knees apart with his own, positioning the man to his liking and pulling his fingers out. Katsuki lined himself up to his husband’s hole and pressed inside. He gripped one hip and one thigh, feeling the muscles twitch and jump as he entered. He went slow, gliding inside with little resistance.
“God, you’re not even that tight. Who have you fucked today, you fucking slut?” He gripped Izuku’s hair in his hand, yanking it back as he bottomed out. “Huh? Answer me.”
“He can’t!”
Katsuki huffed, letting go of Izuku’s hair to push his face down into the bed.
“I know that, Kirishima.”
He pulled his hips back, jacking them forward and smirking when Izuku tightened around him.
“That’s better, know your place at least, Deku.”
He started thrusting into the other at his leisure, not in any hurry to speed things along and not in any particular mood to do anything but warm his cock really.
It wasn’t until he felt Izuku’s heels digging into his calves that he started to speed up with a feral grin.
“Am I going too slow for you, whore?” He hiked Izuku’s hips back to meet him, watching as the man’s fingers clenched and unclenched against his lower back. “Don’t worry, sweetheart, I’ll make sure you’re satisfied by the end.”
He could feel the texture difference on his hips between Izuku’s normal cheek and his burned one, loving the way the other man tried to tilt his hips to one side to stop Katsuki from slamming against his sore cheek.
As he thrust faster, he snaked a hand up the front of Izuku’s body, gripping the green-haired man’s neck and yanking him up so that they both sat on their knees. He thrust up into his husband at a steady but hard pace, using his grip on the man’s neck to push him down further on his dick.
Katsuki could feel Izuku wheezing against his grip and he had to close his eyes and breath against the other’s neck at how much he enjoyed that feeling.
He pulled out, flipping the other on his back and hiking Izuku’s thighs up around his waist as he pressed back inside. He pushed all the way in, making sure that the other man could feel every inch of his cock as he slid inside.
He leaned forward, letting his back curve as he pressed Izuku’s thighs further down, sliding his hands to wrap around the man’s throat again.
“You look perfect like this. This is where you belong.” He kept his pace steady but faster than before as he whispered in Izuku’s ear. “You belong under me, Deku.”
Izuku’s back arched up, their fronts molding together, as his eyes rolled back. He groaned against the gag in his mouth, his voice even choppier with his air supply cut.
“I love you like this, Deku. I love it when you shut up and just take it like you were made to be used.” Izuku shook his head, but to what was unclear. Katsuki’s thrusts were getting uneven, the rhythm thrown off as he pushed himself harder. Their bed rocked dangerously and the only thing that kept it from banging against the wall was the fact that the bed was pulled away far enough to not reach it. “Fuck, I love you, Deku.”
They both came undone. Izuku tensing up like a bowstring before splattering across Katsuki’s front while his husband powered through it to continue thrusting until he was empty.
Katsuki let go of Izuku’s neck slowly, carefully letting his head rest back against the pillow. He slipped the gag over Izuku’s lower lip, licking at them when they were free.
“Look at you,” Katsuki whispered against his husband’s lips. “You look fucked out of your mind.”
“Are you praising me?” Izuku croaked. The rough sound sent a tingle down Katsuki’s spine and he pulled out of the other man with a hiss. “Unlock my hands, they hurt.”
Katsuki scoffed but flipped the other around and rummaged through the drawer for the key before unlocking the cuffs.
Izuku rolled his wrists, rubbing at them despite the fact that the cuffs hadn’t been tight just to mess with Katsuki.
“I think you bruised my neck.” He touched the offending marks softly as he sat. “I’ll look even more like a battered husband.”
“Don’t joke like that.” Katsuki frowned. “You’re such a piece of shit.”
Izuku suddenly turned away from Katsuki and towards Kirishima. Before he had a chance to say anything, Katsuki reached out and gripped Izuku’s face, turning him back around.
“Don’t even look at him, fucker.”
“You’re really going to do this to me right in front of him? Let me comfort the poor man. Look at him.” Katsuki continued to glare at Izuku before his gaze flickered over to Kirishima to see him watching them with worry painted across his face. “I’m not going to say anything mean.”
“I doubt that.” Katsuki spat, but he tossed Izuku’s face out of his grip. “Kirishima, come here.”
“I don’t think I should, dude.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes before climbing off the bed and slouching over to Kirishima. He leaned down until they were eye to eye and reached out a hand, placing it on the man’s cheek softly.
“Come on, let the bastard comfort you.”
