Notes:

Hi,

This is my first time writing for the BNHA community. This is not beta read and really hasn't been proofread at all. I wrote this all in a night so I'm sorry if it sucks really badly. It's just an idea I've had floating in my mind for awhile now! I may go back and do some work on it and clean it up when it isn't 3:35AM. If there's a mistake, please feel free to point it out. I'll get around to fixing everything some day! Please enjoy. If all goes well, I hope to keep continuing writing for this fandom. There are so many great works out there.

ALSO HOW DID THIS GET SO LONG LIKE WTF IS WRONG WITH ME :'(

Of course, I had to choose a rare pair for my first fanfic of the fandom, LMAO.

Anyway, happy reading.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Midoriya Izuku worked in a small grocery store, smooshed between a liquor shop and a hair salon in a relatively seedy downtown area of his city. The store was quaint and worn down. The neon sign that flickered above its sliding doors only worked about half of the time, with every other letter being lit. Inside, the floors had permanent stains and cracks embedded into its foundation. The breakroom worked as a dual custodian closet, and the alleyways between all the shops were home to frequent drug dealers. Izuku didn’t mind all of the flaws because hardly anyone came into the store.

There were less than a handful of regulars who shopped there; their produce wasn’t known for being fresh, and they weren’t known for their prices either. They were conveniently close to a single apartment complex, one where Izuku lived. The closeness was the only upside to shoppers living in the area. The regulars kept to themselves, didn’t make idle prattle, and were usually out in less than fifteen minutes tops. Izuku wasn’t great with being social; he always seemed to be a little quirky and wired a bit differently than others.

Izuku had found the job at the grocery store through a paper advertisement strung up on a lamppost. He had just moved into his new apartment (though in actuality, it was rather decrepit and roach infested), because his mother had passed away due to an incident with a hero and a villain, and he was looking for a job to help with his monetary issues. His mother, may her soul rest in peace, was one of the unlucky few who got caught in the crossfires between a fight between a newly graduated sidekick from U.A. and a rising villain. Izuku had been devastated.

Without the support of his mother, Izuku became even more closed off and shy than he already had been. He was lucky enough to find, and manage to keep, his job at the grocery store. It was minimum wage, but he was able to work long shifts as many days of the week as he wanted. The interactions with others were tolerable mainly because he had no coworkers and only had to deal with around three customers every two hours. His boss was a kind old man who rarely came to visit or check on the store’s conditions. It was the perfect gig for a quirkless person like Izuku.

Of course, the first time the store was robbed, Izuku wished he had picked literally any other place to work.

It had been an even slower day than usual. It was about nine in the evening, the sky had darkened already and the vibrant street signs were the only things illuminating a walking path outside. Izuku was stuck, dazed and sleepy, behind the counter. Izuku hated slow days because time moved at half speed. Unlike how most people would take out their phones and scroll through articles or media, Izuku could only afford an old flip phone. He also had no one to text or call, so there was no point in using it. That was okay, because the small boy liked to tidy things up in his spare time. He could always find something more to do.

There had been no outstanding customers that day. There was an old woman who spoke about her grandchildren to Izuku when he cashed her out. They had just gotten their quirks, and the whole family had celebrated. Izuku smiled kindly at her, happy for their good fortune. There was a middle-aged businessman who stopped in to buy a pre-prepared salad during lunch hour. He didn’t speak at all until he started to say a quick ‘thanks’ after Izuku rang him up. Little eyes appeared inside his mouth and stared. It was a bit unnerving, but Izuku smiled enthusiastically as he left.

Once the man was out of sight, Izuku took out his most recent quirk analysis journal to jot down the new discovery. While he had given up his dreams on becoming a hero, Izuku’s fascination with others’ quirks never really went away. It was one of his favorite things to do, and everyone was allowed to have their own hobbies and guilty pleasures. To each their own, right? It wasn’t like he was still holding on to a hopeless dream, so he allowed himself those moments of indulgence.

The whirring sounds of the glass sliding doors opening notified Izuku of a customer. It was unusual for customers to show up this late, but he knew last minute shopping did exist. Izuku went about cleaning the surface of his register, having done all his immediate tasks hours ago. Izuku watched a lanky man enter the store. He was hunched over and walking at a leisurely pace. Izuku greeted him gently, but the man paid no attention; most people didn’t.

There wasn’t anything notable about the guy. He had casual wear on and his shoes were beaten down from many years of use. He clearly wasn’t interested in small talk, and most likely wanted to be in and out quickly, so Izuku didn’t pursue conversation. The man dipped into one of the junk food isles and that was when Izuku lost track of him, choosing to pull out his journal to continue where he left off.

Time continued to move slowly. Izuku hummed to himself a little as he scribbled furiously, his focus completely invested in his notes. He was so unaware that he jumped when he heard the sound of deliberately heavy footsteps headed straight towards him.

Startled, Izuku enough to let out a small squeak of nervousness. He meekly rose his head when the footsteps stopped just short in front of him. The man from before was staring down at Izuku like he was bored out of his mind, eating a bag of chips he definitely didn’t come into the store with.

Izuku felt a shiver run down his spine as he gazed into irises that looked like they were splattered with blood. The man looked just a couple years older than he, but he chapped and cracked lips, and heavy scratch marks along his neck. His hair was an ashy gray, slight waves casting a shadow over his sunken eyes. He was rather tall, very skinny, but it was the abnormally large smile that was plastered on his face in false cheer was what made Izuku’s blood run cold.

“Hello!” Izuku’s voice cracked pathetically, as if he were still a pre-pubescent teenage boy just on the cusp of puberty. “Y-you have to pay for those, sir.”

The man’s smile widened further. He shifted his body so he was bending down while simultaneously leaning forward, his face in Izuku’s. Any further and their noses would be brushing. Izuku stiffened at the proximity of the other.

“Well, aren’t you fun?” The man questioned. He wrapped his hand around the chip bag, it dissolving into nothing but dust. The sleeves of his hoodie were rolled up to his elbows, and the hood on his head fell down further on his face as he bent down further, trailing his nose against the column of Izuku’s neck. He inhaled deeply.

Izuku let out a choked hiccup when he saw the bag of chips rendered into nothing so quickly. It was verging on being a cute noise, and it was mixed with a choked garble. Overall, it was embarrassing. The man threw his head back with an animalistic howl. He stomped his foot on the ground as if Izuku had told him the best joke he’s heard in a long while. Izuku couldn’t stop the second hiccup either, his nervousness overtaking him.

“I’m sorry!” The man cackled at Izuku’s words, he slammed his head down harshly on the register counter. He raised his head, and there was a red mark where he had just hurt himself. Izuku flinched when he saw the irritated area.

“You know, I was gonna kill you and take the money. You’re kind of a funny kid.” The man with gray hair tilted his neck at an uncomfortable looking angle, his heading hanging limply against his shoulder. “I’m gonna give you an alternative. Give me all the money in the register, and I won’t wrap my hands around your tiny little neck and turn you to dust.”

Izuku wasn’t going to lie, it was a pretty good alternative. The issue was that he was too frozen in fear to move. His feet were planted firmly to the ground, as if his shoes were lead filled. His hands were uselessly glued to his sides and he was stuck. The only thing Izuku could think to do was sniffle whimpily as he tried to hold in the fat tears sliding down his round cheeks.

His hiccups were worsening. They started to come more rapidly with the start of his hyperventilating, and grew in volume and raised in pitch with every second that passed that he still couldn’t will himself to move. It was an easy task, just give the man the money in the register. He didn’t have a bag, almost like he robbed the store on a whim. The only thing that seemed to currently be working was Izuku’s big mouth.

“I-it looks like y-you don’t have a bag. Do y-you need one for the cash?” Izuku’s fingers twitched and he slowly began regaining movement in his body. It was probably due to the deadly stare that was practically screaming ‘Don’t waste my fucking time, you puny shrimp.’

“You’re asking me if I want a bag for my cash?” The man asked incredulously. Izuku released another hiccup.

“Paper or p-plastic?” He asked quietly in his raised voice. His shoulders hunched inwards and he used his shaky finger to punch in the access code to the register. “Or do y-you want the whole register?”

The man let out a bark of laughter. His eyes were honed in on Izuku, scrutinizing his every move. “Holy shit, you’re really funny. Gimme a paper bag.”

Izuku sighed in relief as the register popped open with a small ding. That quickly faded as he realized how little money was actually inside of the box. Since there were hardly any customers the past few days, there wasn’t a lot of money piled up. This guy really chose the wrong store to rob, Izuku thought. He was mainly weary about what the man would do to him in case the money wasn’t enough. Hesitantly, without thinking, Izuku spoke up.

“Um-” He paused. The guy was tapping a few fingers on the counter in impatience. His bitten nails hit the surfaces with a sharp ‘tink’. He had been casually looking around the store, eyeing all its faults with a critical gaze. “There isn’t a lot of money today… if y-you come back at a different date, y-you m-might have better luck.”

The suggestion was out of his mouth, it was in the air, and it was too late to take back. Realizing his stupidity, Izuku physically slapped both his cheeks with his small, scarred hands. His sound of the impact resonates within the store. His freckled face is steadily reddening and he feels his whole body begin to overheat. Izuku felt faint, he was definitely going to pass out. Whether or not it was before or after the man got his cash was still being determined.

The man in question, Shigaraki Tomura, had watched the whole ordeal wishing he still had the bag of chips to accompany him. He had honestly left the dingy bar to kill some time, and more specifically his boredom. He mainly wanted to destroy some things, and maybe cackle as a few people fell victim to his quirk. He needed cash for a new gaming console because he destroyed the last one in a fit of rage. Robbing the grocery store happened from a whim, but he couldn’t help but feel happy with the outcome.

He did meet something interesting. The kid honestly seemed pretty hopeless and uselessly average. The only thing really going for him was how tiny he was. Guys probably got off to the idea of sitting something like him on their laps to warm their cocks. His face was decorated with blotches of freckles, like someone had just smeared his face with a good handful of dirt. His eyes were watery and bright, and Shigaraki couldn’t help but think that the kid would look pretty good bawling his eyes out as his oversensitive ass was thoroughly fucked by a thick cock.

Or maybe someone would get off on cutting him into tiny pieces, squirming and alive. It would be like cutting a worm into parts before it finally stopped wiggling and died. They could snap his dainty little fingers off of his girlish hands. Maybe rip out his eyeballs and put them in a jar. It’d be pretty interesting to drill a hole in his head and rip out pieces of his brain little by little. The possibilities with the kid were endless. It made Shigaraki shiver in delight.

His fantasy session was broken when shaking hands thrusted a paper bag in his face. The bag itself and the contents in it were making a loud and rustling sound from the jostling it was doing in the kid’s grasp. Shigaraki easily took it off the other’s hands, making sure not to let all five fingers touch the paper. He did, however, let his index finger slide across the pale hands. They were surprisingly soft. It wasn’t this that caught his attention though.

“Goddamn,” Shigaraki spoke heavily. “Do you have freckles everywhere ?”

Shigaraki took this moment to use his other hand to tug the collar of the boy’s uniform down. He peered down his shirt, watching a trail of freckles fall further down the boy’s collarbone, to his chest. A shadow casted over his nipples and further, but Shigaraki had been pleased with what he saw. An interesting new toy appeared, just for him.

Izuku couldn’t breathe. His throat began constricting and a heavy weight settled deep within his stomach. This weight jostled around like nails puncturing his insides as the man continued to openly leer at him. When he reached up and grabbed his collar, Izuku nearly puked thinking the man was about to use his quirk to turn his face into ash. Still, he didn’t find himself feeling lucky that the guy turned out to be a pervert.

“I think I will come back, freckles. Thanks for the invite.” Without any other exchanges of words, Shigaraki sauntered out of the grocery store, a shit eating grin plastered on his face.

Once the glass doors had closed, Izuku risked a glance out the window. He saw the man staring at him. Izuku felt the hairs on his body stand to attention, and he let a few tears slip from his eyes before he promptly passed out. His head cracked against the ground, leaving a large bump for him to discover when he regained consciousness. Shigaraki cackled loudly at the sight, slamming his hand down on his knee. What a hilarious guy.

The second time Shigaraki had gone to rob the grocery store was about two weeks after the first incident. Shigaraki had gotten bored, again, by all of the other idiots he was surrounded with. Couldn’t they ever just shut the fuck up and take orders like good underlings? With all their yelling and psychotic attitudes clashing, there was never a moment of silence. He didn’t want to admit it, but maybe this is how Kurogiri felt all this time he practically decimated the bar. It wasn’t worth reflecting on, it’s not like he cared.

He had stormed out of the bar in a huffy fit. His mood was especially sour. He had left at an unfortunate time of the day, when the dreaded lunch rush was beginning. There were more people than necessary on the streets, and the morons wouldn’t make an effort to move out of the way for him. Being as courteous as he was, Shigaraki decided to help them move along, by kicking them out of his way. Occasionally, when one of them tried to fight back against his treatment against them, all he had to do was touch one of their items with all five fingers and watch gleeful as fear filled their eyes as it would turn to ash.

Shigaraki had honestly kind of forgotten about the kid. He was pretty funny at the time, but he did have more pressing concerns then thinking about freckles all day. It was by mere chance he had decided to storm off in the direction of the small store. It was luck that the vibrant green hair had caught his eye as he passed by. While it was the hair he noticed first, Shigaraki’s eyes lingered on his bubbly smile. It was sort of cute. In a gross, teethy way, he supposed.

The boy had been talking to a customer at his register, just some stupid non-player character. He was waving to him a pleasant goodbye, as he exited the store. Shigaraki, by then, had made his mind up to go into the store. The boy had invited him to come back and rob the place at a later date. No time like the present, Shigaraki thought as he stalked into the grocery market.

Freckles remained at the register, furiously scribbling in some notebook. He was mumbling just as frantically under his breath, no care in the world. Shigaraki had noted that he was doing the same thing he saw him do the first time. There was a part of him that wondered what exactly the boy was writing down so animatedly, but he supposed it wasn’t that important to him now. He was more interested in making him cry. Making the tiny little kid piss his pants also would be an equally enjoyable experience.

Shigaraki didn’t waste time sauntering down the isles, and instead opted to head directly to the boy. Of course, since the boy was so invested in his writing, he didn’t even notice he had company until Shigaraki ripped the book out from underneath his scarred hands. It was a weird thing that the pale man noticed. Did the kid get into fights? It didn’t even look like he could defend himself against the weather.

“What do we have here?” Shigaraki lazily glanced over the words, but quickly became invested once he realized what he was reading. “Are these quirk analyses?”

Izuku had been having a pleasant day. He managed to work up enough courage to talk to the businessman with eyes in his mouth and talk to him briefly about his quirk. The landlady had told him that he could have an extension on his rent and he even managed to score a free drink on his way to work because he was the 1,000th customer of a local coffee shop. His luck couldn’t have been better, and that must’ve been the reason the gods were tormenting him because all of a sudden, the gray haired weirdo came back to harass him again. Izuku was going to get into so much trouble if the store got robbed on his time again.

“These aren’t half bad, freckles. You should keep up the good work. It might come in handy to me.” Izuku made a weak whining sound at the praise, like a wounded animal. The guy surprisingly handed the notes back, and Izuku snatched them up right away and held them closely to his chest.

“Thanks.” He spoked curtly, glaring at the man through his lashes. It was a pretty ballsy move, but Izuku was fiercely protective over his notes.

Shigaraki leaned forward on his elbows, his hands holding up his chin as he was brought to eye-level with the shrimp. The kid was pretty interesting. Shigaraki couldn’t help but wonder what else would make freckles tick. Not just in anger, but in everything. How far could he push the boy until he broke? He loved testing other’s limits.

Izuku took a step back, not trusting the man and his unpredictability. Shigaraki just watched him carefully, smiling at his childish attempt at distance. He’d let him have it, for now.

“Hey, freckles. What’s your name?” Shigaraki brought one hand down to start tapping the counter. “Why don’t you start emptying that cash register while you tell me, huh?”

Izuku was forced to go back to his original spot, closing in on the register so he could quickly bag the cash for the guy so he would leave. Izuku really didn’t want to deal with him, especially if another customer walked in on them. He would probably kill them in a heartbeat if they disturbed him.

When Izuku punched in the code and began to lift the clips pressing the money down, he spoke in a reserved and quiet voice. “It’s Midoriya.”

Shigaraki watched as Izuku’s small hands trailed over the cash, his thin fingers crooked awkwardly to grab all the money. “Is that your first name?”

Izuku piled the money gingerly into a paper bag, as if he were actually taking care not to crumple it. Shigaraki let out a low chuckle. “I-Izuku.”

“Well, Izu-chan,” Shigaraki grabbed Izuku’s wrist with one hand, the other diving forwards to grip his chubby cheeks. His flesh felt soothingly soft underneath his hardened touch. “My name is Shigaraki Tomura. It’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.”

Izuku’s displeasure had since then morphed into anxiety and dread. This was only his second time encountering the villain, but that wouldn’t change the fact that Izuku felt like he was losing years of his life as each second ticked by. Why did he have to come back? Why had he been stupid enough to invite him back?

Izuku thrusted the bag of money into Shigaraki’s face, again. The kid really could be gutsy at times. “Here, sir.”

Shigaraki pouted as he took the bag from the other but placed it on the counter in between them. “Don’t be like that, Izu-chan! Don’t you want to get to know me? Get to know about my quirk? You could write it all down like a little freak.”

Izuku flinched at the harshity of the last word. Izuku had been called many things in his life: Deku, useless, abnormal, weird, but quirkless freak had always struck close to home. Shigaraki didn’t even know him, but he still managed to strike a chord in the small boy.

“Don’t call me that.” Izuku mumbled underneath his breath.

Shigaraki, not hearing it correctly, leaned forward. “Hm? What did you say!”

“I said don’t call me that!” Izuku whisper-yelled in the taller man’s face. Furious fat tears began to slip down his youthful face.

Shigaraki shuddered in glee at the boy crying. He really had the greatest expressions. “Call you what? A freak? I could call you a baby instead. A little crybaby who probably isn’t good for anything but mopping floors and getting on your knees.” Shigaraki taunted.

“Stop being so mean!” Izuku started to hiccup again, those godforsaken little gasps that came out unintentionally were the worst. Shigaraki seemed to love them.

“Aw, the widdle baby thinks I’m a meanie pants! Does he need a big pacifier to shut his snivelling up?” Shigaraki leaned back and crudely fondled his crotch, adjusting his dick in his pants. He watched as Izuku took a sharp and bated breath, his whole face turning red from embarrassment and anger combined.

“I don’t need y-your,” he paused, looking around before practically hissing out the rest of his sentence. “Dick in my mouth, I need you to leave!”

Shigaraki let a laugh rip from his chest at the bluntness of his statement. “Well I want to get to know you better. Common, you can’t tell me you're not interested in my quirk?”

Izuku stuck his reddened nose up in the air childishly, not wanting to give the pale man any more attention than he already had. His whole body was shaking, and tears were still slipping messily down his face, leaving little trails back to his puffy eyes. It was sort of endearing, but Shigaraki wouldn’t admit that.

“I’m not interested. I’ve seen better quirks.” Shigaraki’s eye twitched. He didn’t like being completely rejected and then told that the person who rejected him has ‘seen better’.

“And what, may I ask, is this ‘better’ you speak of?” Shigaraki asked as he grabbed Izuku’s chin with his thumb and index finger, tilting his head back to face him. His eyes sparkled like gems from the hazy layer of tears in them. It could almost be described as pretty. Shigaraki was more than pleased he was the one who made him get to that state.

“My childhood friend can make explosions from his palms because of the nitroglycerin he excretes via his sweat glands. He’s so cool. He’s on his way to becoming a hero!” Izuku sighs dreamily as he thinks about the blonde with similar red eyes to the man staring him down in revulsion.

“Don’t talk to me about those stupid heroes. They’re the problem of this society, especially All Might.” He bit out angrily. His grip on Izuku’s chin tightened, and the boy let out a small yelp.

With his mood thoroughly ruined even further, Shigaraki pushed Izuku back forcefully and grabbed the paper bag off the countertop. He gave one last look to the boy who had stumbled backwards with his shoulders hitting the wall at an odd angle. Shigaraki sniggered as Izuku’s small frame slumped down to the floor weakly.

“I’ll see you later, Izu-chan.” Shigaraki hissed the promise out venomously, stepping into a black mist that had appeared suddenly, the bag of cash crumpled in his fist. Of course the kid was a damn hero worshiper.

The third time Shigaraki had come to rob the store, he spent the whole time harassing Izuku about why he didn’t think his quirk was cool (but it eventually escalated way too quickly). Izuku guessed that his comment about him not being the coolest really took a toll on his ego. Izuku knew it wasn’t a nice thought, but he couldn’t help but feel happy his comment had gotten to the other. He was rather rude, always robbing the store and bothering while he was working. He was practically a telemarketer.

“Izu-chan, why don’t you want to know about my quirk?” Shigaraki watched with contempt as Izuku ignored him and chose to continue scribbling away in his hero journal. It wasn’t fair. He had come to purposely see Izuku. Freckles should honestly feel honored that Shigaraki didn’t kill him on the spot for his arrogance.

Izuku’s stuttering lessened after seeing the gray-haired male so frequently. Getting to know Shigaraki further was definitely not something Izuku intended on doing willingly. He also most certainly did not want to know or get used to the other’s crazy mood swings. He went from zero to a hundred and then plummeted to the negatives again within the span it took for him to destroy something via his quirk. He still unnerved Izuku greatly, but he was currently getting on his nerves.

“I’m more interested in the person who has the quirk with that weird portal.” Izuku told him truthfully. Izuku didn’t necessarily like being considered ‘rude’ or ‘mean’ but Shigaraki wouldn’t leave him alone, and his appearances were causing heart palpitations and ulcers. He was concerned for his health.

“No, no, no!” He stomped his foot angrily before falling to the ground with his legs crossed. His frown grew as he glared daggers at Izuku’s blank face. “Be more interested in me!”

He might as well have been kicking and screaming and rolling around like a dog in the mud with the way he was acting. Izuku wouldn’t be surprised if there were a couple of screws loose or completely missing from the light haired boy’s head. He had never seen a grown man throw a tantrum in the middle of someone’s job. There were always first times for everything, but Izuku would have preferred that he never seen that scene in the first place.

He couldn’t help but blush at the second hand embarrassment. He felt like a parent scolding a child on their bad behavior. The only issue was that Shigaraki wouldn’t learn from scolding or dissuasion, he’d just grow more persistent, like a foot fungus that kept coming back even after treatment. Honestly, Izuku deduced that the best chances of him being left alone was if Shigaraki lost interest in him. What Izuku didn’t plan for was the stubbornness.

“How can you not see how cool I am? I mean, I’m fucking amazing. Don’t even get me started on my cock-” Shigaraki prattled on.

“Please, don’t.” Izuku begged, unable to stop the blush creeping up his neck. It left behind an unwanted heat engulfing the entirety of his space and spreading out from there. Why did this guy escalate things so quickly?

“I bet I could make you fucking cry on it,” Shigaraki continued, disregarding the discomfort of Izuku. “I’d get you to choke on it first, get your spit and tears all over it when I push it down your throat. That’s the only lube you’d get. It’d be so cute to watch you struggle on it. You’d probably be gagging the whole time, banging your little fists against my thighs to make me stop.”

“Shigaraki-san, please stop.” Izuku begged, his hands covering his eyes, as if he could see the vivid image the lanky guy was creating with his wicked tongue.

“I’d pull your pink little mouth off my cock only so I could shove it straight up your ass next. I’d make you sit on me like a little sleeve, picking you up and dropping you down just for my pleasure. I’d bet all you could do is cling pathetically to me as I thoroughly fucked you like an onahole.” Shigaraki shuddered happily as he pictured Izuku wailing on top of him.

“Why are you being so crude?” Izuku pressed his face to the cool surface of the counter. He willed his face to chase the flush off of his cheeks.

“Say, Izu-chan,” Shigaraki leant forward, still on the ground, and slid his tongue over his chapping lips. “Are you a virgin?”

The green haired boy felt the flush come back full force. He really didn’t have much sexual experience. He had gone to a bar before, talked to a guy, went back to his place, but backed out before he did anything more than kissing. The guy had been nice about it, and told him to call him if he ever was ready to go all the way. Izuku had flushed and easily taken the number, though he never was brave enough to call him.

“W-w-what?” Izuku became a stuttering mess as he flung his head back up. His hands flew up to cover his face as if he were trying to protect his virtue.

“I asked if you were a virgin.” With a lecherous grin on his face, Shigaraki stood up. Izuku froze, his hands still placed firmly over his face and reddening cheeks. “Has anyone had the greatest honor of popping your sweet cherry?”

Izuku shivered nervously as the taller man approached him. His slow, deliberate steps threatened to cause the green haired boy’s heart to fail. “I-I don’t see h-how that’s any of your business!” Izuku managed to squawk out indignantly.

“Oh, come on, Izu-chan!” Shigaraki exclaimed dramatically as he draped his whole upper body over the counter top. He stretched his arm out so his hand could reach up to Izuku’s face. He traced the other boy’s arm with his long finger. He felt the boy practically vibrating underneath his touch.

“I-I d-don’t…” Izuku trailed off.

“Haven’t we gotten closer, Izuku? Haven’t we become friends?” He continued to pet the boy’s arm and hand. “And don’t friends tell each other everything?”

He peered up through his light eyelashes, his eyelids felt heavy as he stared up at the blushing little virgin. The boy was a lot cuter than Shigaraki had given him credit for when he first met him. His little actions were adorable; from his shy stutter but his confident eyes, how he would shake like a leaf at the thought of a threat, how he could cry whenever someone sneezed at him, how he was so pint sized yet had really cute figure with thighs to die for, and how he would mumble to himself without realizing it. Honestly, there were a lot of things about the kid that just checked all of Shigaraki’s boxes.

“I don’t think this i-is appropriate to talk about.” Izuku stated as he tried to back away, but the finger slowly turned into fingers that wrapped around his wrist.

Shigaraki couldn’t help but stare in awe at how Izuku’s wrist was so small and dainty. “You’re just like a doll, so small and sweet. Say, Izu-chan. Would you mind if I bent you over this counter and stuck it in? I swear I’ll be gentle.”

The gray haired boy couldn’t help but trace little circles on the smaller one’s wrist. He used his other hand to start connecting the freckles idly. Shigaraki began to picture how Izuku would look like with his pants pushed down to the ground, his back arched and hips raised to meet his thrusts. He would be a panting and drooling mess, begging so adorably as Shigaraki spilt his seed deep into his freckled ass.

His little fantasy was broken when he felt something slap him directly in the face. It rustled and felt plastically, and barely hurt, yet Shigaraki was still stunned. When he opened his eyes to see what it was, he found a bag of trail mix laying a couple inches away from him.

“Tell me about your quirk. Tell me about literally anything else and please stop talking about fucking me.” Izuku croaked hoarsely. Shigaraki pounded his fist humorously as he fell back over in laughter. Shigaraki could always get his way.

The fourth time Shigaraki had come to rob the store, Izuku supposed that they had built up a rapport. Shigaraki was even in a better mood than normally. He greeted Izuku courteously, alerting him like a normal person that he was present, instead of just blatantly taking Izuku’s things to get his attention. His appearances were still surprising, but what was even more shocking was that there was another dangerous looking male standing outside the window of the store, glaring holes into the back of Shigaraki’s head.

“Shigaraki-san, there’s a man out there watching you.” Izuku wearily eyed the outsider. His glare seemed to intensify as they made eye contact.

Shigaraki waved his hand carelessly in the air, dismissing the idea of acknowledging the other completely. “Ignore him.”

Izuku didn’t ignore him. It might have been a bit rude to stare, but Izuku couldn’t look away. The man had burn scars and stitch work running across the entirety of his face, and it looked as though it continued across his body. The most alarming thing Izuku took notice of were the blue flames trailing up his arms.

“Izu-Chan!” Shigaraki snapped angrily.

“What?” Izuku said, never taking his eyes off of the blue eyed male who was currently pressing his face against the glass Izuku just cleaned.

“Why aren’t you paying attention to me?” He spoke petulantly. He had taken the time to snag a candy bar from the stands near the register and began snacking on it. Another stolen merchandise, Izuku thought grumpily.

“Because I’m wondering why this man is following you.” Izuku spoke as if it were a completely obvious statement, which it was.

Shigaraki let a small and genuine smile slip on his face, but when he spoke his tone of voice was still as teasing as always. “Aw, is my precious Izu-chan worried about me?”

Izuku quickly grabbed a rag and a bottle of cleaning solution. He began to spray the counter and clean furiously. He felt heat rising in his cheeks. “I’m not yours, Shigaraki. I’m my own person.”

Shigaraki huffed. “Don’t be like that Izu-chan. That idiot is following me because I might have slightly pissed him off earlier.”

Izuku rolled his eyes. “Do you always try to piss people off, Shigaraki-san?”

“Not always,” Shigaraki lied as he glanced at Dabi from his peripheral vision. The guy in question flipped him off and made the gesture of ‘you’re dead’ at him. “Dabi just rubs me the wrong way, and I him. Sometimes it’s just fun to ruffle up his feathers.”

“You’re such an instigator, Shigaraki.” Izuku finished his quick wipe down of the counter,

He hesitantly turned to glance at the man standing outside. He was still blasting blue flames out of his hand, kicking at the glass. With the sheer force that he was putting behind those kicks, Izuku was afraid that the glass was going to shatter. There were loud curses and spit flying everywhere as the man was screaming. He honestly looked like a savage animal just released into society, untamed and uncared for.

The man, who had been glaring murderously at the uncaring Shigaraki suddenly snapped his attention to Izuku, feeling the greenette’s gaze on him. The man’s fury stayed unwavering. He lifted his hands up higher and unleashed a flurry of blue flames that shot over his head. It was beautiful, it was raw, and Izuku’s eye’s shone brightly, reflecting the flames of the other’s fire.

Wrinkling his nose cutely, Izuku just grumbled his response. “His quirk is really pretty.”

Shigaraki snorted as he watched the other man outside shoot his flames like a sprinkler. “Hey, Dabi!”

There was a choking sound smothered by the barrier between the three. The guy’s flames died down and were left to small flickers. Izuku could faintly make out the words being screamed. “What the fuck do you want?”

“Izu-chan here thinks your quirk looks pretty!” Shigaraki screamed at the top of his lungs.

The man in question froze. Izuku couldn’t help the flush that arose on his face as they made eye contact once more. He didn’t expect Shigaraki to blatantly expose his thoughts to the stranger. The man, Dabi, also seemed to have a flush rising on his cheeks. His blue flames spread wider up his arms and flared out aggressively.

They both looked at each other, unblinking, for a couple seconds. It only took a moment for Dabi to decide he was going to enter the store; Izuku took one breath and the man had practically sprinted into the entrance and straight to the register. He waited with a bated breath to see if the man would attack.

His breathing was heavy and ragged. He had a menacing glare etched across his scarred face. In complete honesty, Izuku wanted to piss his pants when he took an angry step forward, his whole upper body practically lurched over his legs as if he were lunging to attack. Izuku brought his hands up to shield his face, but the movement of the other stopped.

Shigaraki had four fingers digging into Dabi’s shoulder. The other had his palm nearly connected with the gray haired man’s face, blue flames ignited and flickering close enough to draw sweat from his current enemy. They both were at a stand still, the other seemingly waiting for their opponent to move.

“Hey, don’t be like that, stitchy.” Shigaraki cooed as if he were talking to a feral animal. “Izu-chan was just paying you a compliment.”

Shigarakai’s fingers dug deeper into the other boy’s shoulders. “I wasn’t going to attack him, you fucking moron. I just wanted him to tell it to my face.”

Shigaraki let the other boy go with a shrug after Dabi dropped his flaming fist back to his side. “Well how was I supposed to know?”

Dabi turned strictly on his heels. He faced Izuku, who let a small squeak release from his throat and died in his mouth. “Hey, string bean! Say it again.”

It was a demand, but Izuku still hesitated. After years of being looked at funny or made fun of for openly praising people’s quirks, he had slowly become closed off to showering others in affection. He wanted to, but it was strange. What if people took it wrong? What if he made them uncomfortable. In his younger days, Izuku wouldn’t hesitate; but years of living in a society that didn’t accept him or his suggestions had him second guessing himself.

Still, who Izuku really was, deep down, could not be extinguished. He bravely straightened his posture and looked directly in Dabi’s eyes.

“I think your quirk is really beautiful and your eyes have the same fire in them and they’re really pretty. You’re very pretty.” Izuku confessed quickly, wanting to get the humiliation over with.

Shigaraki watched the two interact, biting his lip and hastily scratching his neck the entire time. Dabi was looking at Izuku like he was an entirely new thing he had never witnessed before. He had a stupidly starry eyed expression in his eyes, and Shigaraki couldn’t stand it. Izuku never complimented his quirk, let alone him. Shigaraki was confident he looked better than that makeshift spliced doll too. His scratching intensified as he watched his colleague's face become engulfed in a fiery red color. It didn’t suit him at all.

“How the fuck can you just spout embarrassing shit like that? H-huh?” Dabi stuttered towards the end. Blue flames flickered around his hands as he shook slightly. It was as if he had never been complimented in his entire life.

“S-sorry! I won’t say it again!” Izuku bowed at a perfect ninety-degree angle. His head slammed against the register.

Having enough of their idle chit-chat, Shigaraki inserted himself between Izuku and Dabi, literally. He shoved Dabi to the side by shoulder-checking the other. The other scowled as he lost his footing, stumble. “Izu-chan, what about me?”

Izuku looked at him blankly, tilting his head confused. “What about you?”

Shigaraki’s crestfallen face made Dabi crow in sadistic glee. He laughed so hard that his eyes began to water. “Holy shit, you’re pretty funny, you know?”

Izuku flushed prettily, and Shigaraki scowled. “Izu-chan, don’t look at him.”

Shigaraki clutched onto Izuku’s face, like usual, roughly manhandling him so his gaze would only be directed to the gray haired male. Dabi remained cackling in the background.

“Wow, Shigaraki, never knew you to be so damn pathetic.” Dabi gave Izuku a once over. “You why he always out now? He seems a lot happier and it’s really starting to piss me off. Is your ass that amazing, or something?”

Izuku gwuaffed at the insinuation. “No, he comes to rob me.”

Dabi did a spit take while Shigaraki crossed his arms glumly as his and Izuku’s relationship was watered down to thief and victim. “No way.”

Izuku pulled up a paper bag and opened it to show Dabi the contents. There inside laid a small pile of cash. Dabi couldn’t stifle the thunderous laughter. He never expected that Shigaraki would stoop so low as to rob a grocery store just to disguise the fact he wanted to hit on the grocery boy. Needless to say, Dabi didn’t keep the secret to himself.

Who’s to say if somehow a large portion of Dabi's personal belongings were turned to dust later that week?

The fifth time Shigaraki came to rob the store, he actually brought a bag, and surprisingly a gift as well. Shigaraki had honestly come on whim. He had been stalking through random streets of the city, passing by random shops when something caught his eye. It was a pretty simple item, just a small, green rabbit. It was sitting on a table outside one of the smaller shops. Shigaraki snagged it quickly, pocketing the plushie, as he was walking by.

The shop owner was none the wiser, and Shigaraki carried on his way. The gray haired boy thought about keeping it for himself. It really resembled the freckled boy and brought an oddly warming feeling to Shigaraki’s stomach. It almost made him feel nauseous, but he sort of liked that different emotion swimming around inside him.

Almost thoughtlessly, Shigaraki had found that his feet led him to the small grocery store tucked between two unimportant shops. Maybe it was a bit dangerous to have Izuku on his mind so frequently. Then again, Shigaraki wasn’t shy towards danger. His whole existence thrived off it. Because of this fact, he didn’t care much that one greenette seemed to have permanently carved a spot in his most recent thoughts. He was interesting.

When the glass doors opened with the typical mechanical noises, and Shigaraki was blasted with a breeze of air. He did his usual look around to gage how many customers Izuku had to deal with. Surprisingly, there was only one, a man in a suit, and he was just staring at Izuku’s sleeping figure.

The boy was slumped over the counter. His pink mouth slightly parted, and he let out gentle puffs of air. His curly hair was sticking up in odd spots, and he was sleeping so soundly that it seemed as if nothing could disturb him. The suited man was looking down at Izuku with a peaceful expression on his face. It was an odd moment where Shigaraki almost felt as if he were intruding, but then he realized where they were.

Izuku was sleeping defenselessly in a public place, and some strange old man was hovering dangerously over him. Alarms were going off in Shigaraki’s head. While the man hadn’t seemingly done anything, yet, Shigaraki still found it weird. What adult man hovered over a sleeping boy, probably just barely legal?

Eyes opened up on the back of the man’s neck and stared at Shigaraki. Shigaraki blinked, and so did the man’s eye in response. “He’s been like this since I got here, around fifteen minutes ago.”

The man had a mellow voice. He spoke  calmingly, like he was trying to soothe some wild beast he feared would attack it. The man wasn’t far off on his assumptions. Shigaraki would have decayed him if he so much as inched to raise a hand and touch a hair on Izuku’s head. Still, Shigaraki stalked over to the man, not trusting him or his intentions in the slightest.

“So you’ve been staring at him like a pervert for the entire time?” Shigaraki accused the man. He made his way around the cash register, and pulled Izuku to his chest. Even when jostled, all Izuku could do was make a quiet keening noise from the disturbance, but settle back down.

Shigaraki tried not to take note of how the boy smelled like lavender-mint, or how his slight frame slotted perfectly against his. Instead, he focused on the NPC in front of him. Izuku was his quest. Izuku was his.

“Please, don’t misunderstand. I did all my shopping and I’ve been hesitating on waking him up so I can check out.” Shigaraki looked at the basket of food the man had. Things seemed to add up, but he wouldn’t be content until this stupid mob character left.

“I’ll cash you out. Bag this shit yourself.” Shigaraki thrusted a paper bag in the man’s face, before searching around the counter to find a key to the register. When he was unable to find one, he just disintegrated the thing. He did all this with Izuku still tucked safely between his arms.

The man eyed him wearily, nervousness creeping up his face when he saw the machine turn to nothing but dust. “Uh, do you work here?”

“Does it matter?” The man handed Shigaraki the money very hesitantly.

“Do you know Midoriya-san?” The man persisted as he finished bagging his last item. He picked it up and just continued to stare at the two.

“I’m trying my best to convince Izu-chan here to let me pound into his little body and mold his insides so they fit my dick perfectly. Can’t you just picture this precious little thing underneath you? Clinging onto you so desperately as he gets railed?” Shigaraki licked a strip up Izuku’s neck. He slowly sunk his teeth into the juncture of his neck and throat.

Izuku’s eyelids fluttered wildly as he groaned in discomfort but he never stirred. There would definitely be a mark left, Shigaraki thought smugly as he eyed the grown man in front of him. He was clearly flustered, his hands cinching the paper bag just a little too tightly. All the words he got out was garbled nonsense, before he bolted from the store.

Shigaraki smiled to himself, contently, running his fingers through Izuku’s soft curls. The boy hummed in response at the taller one’s ministrations. He really was a pretty boy. He was soft and pliant, sweet and supple and the sun was hitting his face just perfectly. The warm feeling in Shigaraki’s stomach swept over the rest of his body, like a comforting blanket. Shigaraki felt secure when he was holding Izuku tightly in his arms.

Shigaraki let himself bask in the moment of silence, with the warm body he had wanted for the past month snug against him. In the end, when it seemed like Izuku was going to start stirring soon, as he kept moving about, Shigaraki reluctantly let him rest back against the counter, but on the floor this time. He wanted to keep him protected and hidden from sight.

Shigaraki bagged the cash himself, similarly how he told the NPC to bag his own shit. He wasn’t used to having to do this part by himself, but watching Izuku sleep peacefully made it all worth it. The boy seemed to have the start of under eye bags, and Shigaraki didn’t want any blemishes hindering the freckled boy’s cute face.

Without giving it a second thought, Shigaraki began to draft a note to leave the boy. He left it on top of the greenette’s hand before bolting through the sliding doors. Izuku rose not only three minutes later to find a pile of dust where the register had been, Shigaraki’s note, and a tiny stuffed bunny sitting directly in front of him.

Izu-chan,

You really shouldn’t be sleeping on the job. I hope you know I had to chase off a weirdo for you. You never know who will try to take advantage of you. You owe me! Also, the first time I actually bring a bag for the money and a gift and you’re asleep? That’s just cruel, Izu-Chan.

P.S You’re also going to need a new register.

Get some rest,

Tomura

Izuku gingerly picked up the green rabbit and held it closely to his chest. A soft smile was splayed on his lips. What he didn’t see was the retreating pair of red eyes and a lanky body quickly dart off down the sidewalk.

The sixth time Shigaraki went to rob the grocery store, a robbery was already in progress. Shigaraki was in a piss poor mood. The new recruits for the league were less than useful, to say the least. Shigaraki wondered if the decline was due to the new surgence of young heroes. Whatever it was, it ticked Shigaraki off beyond belief.

He had been heading towards the small store because he needed his spirits to be uplifted. After dealing with imbeciles all day, nothing would revive him like seeing Izuku behind the counter, talking to himself while getting ink all over his hand as he wrote more facts about quirks in his journals. Just thinking about the sight of the green haired boy made Shigaraki’s spirits lighter.

As Shigaraki approached the store, getting more excited every step he got closer, this ease he felt slowly slipped away as he heard the sounds of a struggle all the way from down the street. There were noisey crashes coming from the grocery store. Men’s voices could be heard laughing over the sound of Izuku screaming.

Shigaraki broke off into a run. He had never gotten to the slow sliding doors faster than he had at the moment. He was encouraged by hearing the freckled boy crying and wailing for help. Shigaraki felt his heart drop when the yelling and the crying only continued to grow at an alarming rate. By the time Shigaraki got to the store and saw the scene playing out, he saw red.

There were three men surrounding Izuku. One had his arms pinned behind his back and bent the boy over the counter as he rubbed his lower half against Izuku’s clothed ass. Another was still clearing out the register while the third had Izuku grabbed by the hair and pressed his face against his crotch.

“I’m glad we picked this place. There was a twink just ready for us to fuck. What a great reward!” The man in the front forced Izuku’s jaw open with his free hand and slipped his fingers into the boy’s wet mouth.

He slowly began to stroke them deep and thrust them deeper into the back of his throat. Izuku gagged at the intrusion and bit down. “Stop! Please, stop!”

Izuku bucked his hips trying to throw the one behind him off, but it did nothing but generate more friction for the assaulter. The man groaned, a pleased rumble coming from his chest as he groped one of Izuku’s ass cheeks after sloppily tugging down his pants.

“That’s it baby, keep rubbing back against me you little slut.” He leaned down and nipped the shell of Izuku’s ear roughly. He tugged it harshly between his teeth, and Izuku let out a piercing cry.

“Fuck! This little shit.” The man who got bit growled, and raised his hand to slap Izuku across the face.

Just as he was about to strike the crying boy, his wrist was grabbed. The man watched in horror as it turned to nothing but dust. He screamed, terrified as the last thing he saw was murderous eyes the color of blood. Shigaraki’s hand grabbed the man’s face and watched in anger as the man crumbled to nothing. The gray haired man wished he could’ve made his death even more painful.

The other two men had watched their friend fall victim to this new intruder’s quirk and wisely decided that they didn’t want to join him in becoming a pile of ash. After grabbing the money, they bolted past Shigaraki, who quickly snarled and tried to chase after them. He was only stopped when he felt a gentle hand reach out and grab his wrist.

He snapped his attention back to the crying boy, who was clinging onto the sleeve of his sweatshirt like a child. Shigaraki couldn’t help the anger flare up inside his chest. How dare they touch Izuku, how dare they try to hurt him and use them. But his anger wasn’t also just limited to the men; why didn’t Izuku stop them using his quirk? Why didn’t he struggle harder?

“Why did this happen to you? How come you’re always getting into trouble! Use your quirk, you moron!” Izuku flinched at Shigaraki’s rising voice. Shigaraki, in return, felt himself falter as Izuku began to shake even further. Still, he couldn’t just give up that anger. He was stubborn. “Answer me, Izuku! Why didn’t you use your quirk?”

Izuku hiccuped, wheezing heavily as he tried to breathe in and out slowly. “I-I-I d-don’t h-have a quirk! I-I don’t have one! I-I’m useless and stupid and I don’t have a quirk.”

Izuku slumped against Shigaraki’s chest, trying to let his breathing finally even out. Shigaraki felt himself slowly start dropping to the floor, still clutching Izuku carefully in his arms. He had never asked about Izuku’s quirk, or if he even had one. Still, any quirk was better than none, and Izuku was truly defenseless.

They sat for over ten minutes with neither of them ever speaking a word. Izuku felt himself calm in the villain’s company. Shigaraki felt his anger start to simmer down so he could focus on running his fingers carefully across Izuku’s back in slow circles. He started tracing different patterns against the other, trying to help minimize his trembling.

“I’m sorry,” For not coming here on time, for not protecting you, all went unsaid.Shigaraki whispered breathlessly against Izuku.

“You saved me, Tomura.” Izuku told him firmly. The taller gave a slight gasp at the sound of his first name. Izuku took that time to gently cup Shigaraki’s face in his hands, reversing their usual position. He lent his head forwards and bumped their foreheads together. Their noses brushed together. Izuku sat between Shigaraki’s legs and the other closed his arms around the freckled one’s waist. “Thank you.”

Izuku leaned forward and gave Shigaraki a gentle kiss on the lips. It lacked all hesitation, and it was honestly the bravest thing Shigaraki had ever seen Izuku done. When the greenette began to pull back, Shigaraki took this time to chase after him. When Izuku saw this movement, he gave a small smile and met him halfway.

Their lips touched once more in a slow and sensual kiss. They moved together like a unit, and it left them both breathless. Izuku’s lips were so soft and delicate, just as Shigaraki imagined. Izuku made a small sigh into the kiss in happiness, like it was a relief they were finally locked together in such a way.

They both pulled away from each other, only by a few inches. They didn’t risk straying far. It was sweet and it was romantic. Shigaraki realized that maybe he wanted Izuku in more ways than one. Maybe he wanted Izuku’s heart, still beating in his chest but for him. He voiced his epiphany to the other excitedly.

“I think I like you.” Izuku was the one to let out a wholehearted laugh.

“Well I would hate to see what would happen if you didn’t.” Shigaraki pulled Izuku in for another hug, looking at the pile of dust of the fallen man.

“Don’t get sassy with me,” Shigaraki joked. He pressed a gentle kiss to Izuku’s head. “I’m going to protect you. You’ll never be hurt again.”

“My hero.” Shigaraki found he liked the sound of that title.

Notes:

If you guys actually want a true sex scene between the two, I'd consider writing one. Additionally, every time I went out to type Shigaraki, I would type out "Shigaraking" and low key it kind of fits him LMAO.
