Work Text:

You should’ve known that Connor was cheating on you. For the entire time you’d known him, been dating him, it was beyond clear that man didn’t have an ounce of loyalty in his body. He’d always had wandering eyes. Always gotten a little too close to other women for your liking. Honestly, you were half-convinced he’d been cheating on you for the entirety of your relationship. Sure, you didn’t have any proof of it. But the thought still lingered in your mind.

The only thing that brought you satisfaction was knowing who he cheated on you with. His parents had been divorced for most of his life, and he’d never really knew his mom. She left as soon as the divorce was finalized, and his dad was the one who raised him. So he never really knew her or the life she led when she left that part of her family behind. But, as it turned out, she started another family of her own, had another kid within a year of the divorce. A daughter. And that very same daughter was the one you caught him with in bed.

Granted, neither of you knew the two of them were related when it happened. He was a Barnes, she was a Jones. No reason to think they’d ever be related. But, you did as ex’s did when relationships ended, and you took to stalking her social media to get a feel of who she was. And, oh lord, when you found out an hour deep into your search that they were half-siblings? Oh, you couldn’t help but rub it in stupid fucking Connor’s face.

Oddly, that didn’t deter him. He said something about it not mattering ‘cause they were “only half siblings” (which…you know…are still siblings, but he seemed to lack more than just a few brain cells) and that the law didn’t apply to this shit unless they got married? Whatever. You didn’t care enough anymore. If your ex wanted to fuck his sister, that was his issue. Honestly, you probably dodged a bullet on that one. If he was the kind of guy that was into incest, then you clearly didn’t need to be with him.

What you hadn’t expected, though, was what came in the aftermath of your relationship.

You’d always had a good relationship with Connor’s dad. He was a kind man who always gave you a crooked smile when you’d come over to Connor’s house to visit. Sometimes, when Connor would ditch you halfway through hanging out, you’d stick around with Bucky—no, shit, Mr. Barnes—and rant about what a piece of shit his son was. And he’d listen, crack jokes at Connor’s expense as he slid you a glass of Scotch and mumble how if you were his girl, he’d make sure that you got treated like a goddamn princess. You’d pushed those comments to the side when they happened, thinking he was just trying to cheer you up, but now? Oh, you were so sure that he meant what he said.

It seemed that, within hours of you breaking up with Connor, Mr. Barnes was on the doorstep of your apartment, apologizing about what an ass his son was. Something about how he raised him better. About how he raised him to treat a lady right. About how he would’ve never hurt you like that if you’d been his.

And you’d let him, crying for a little while because, you had loved Connor. As shitty as he was, you did love him once. But when all the tears were shed and there were no words left to say, Mr. Barnes still held you in his arms that entire night and told you that he’d never let you know pain again. Not when you were his.

His.

Were you his? He’d never said anything, but he wasn’t really the type of man to ask. Men like him don’t get successful by asking for things. No, they take what they want they wanted it. And, so it seemed, you were what he wanted.

Every day for a week straight, he asked you to come over. Said Connor had moved out, moved in with his sister-slash-lover. And every day you went, becoming more and more comfortable with Mr. Barnes—no, shit, Bucky. But, as much as he showed interest in you, you couldn’t help but question if you were misreading the signals. If maybe he was just being a kind man, and you were reading too much into what he was doing.

You were almost ready to question him on Friday, as you stood dressed in a pretty little sundress in his kitchen as you baked a “your son is the scum of the earth” cake. You were busy mixing the batter when he sidled up behind you, his arms snaked around your waist as he pressed his full body on you and—holy shit, was that his—

Bucky!” you gasped as you felt his hard length pressed against you.

He groaned slightly as he kissed down your neck, brushing your hair out of the way. “God, love it when you say my name like that, sunshine.

Bucky, what are you—

He spun you around, tucking a loose piece of hair behind your ear as he looked down at you with his steel blue eyes. “Tell me to stop if you want me to.

You said nothing.

His head ducked back down as he planted soft kisses along your jaw. “Been wantin’ to do this for a long time now. Ever since he brought you home for the first time. Wanted you bent over the kitchen table, gasping and writhing for me, ‘cause you and me both know that he never could’ve taken care of you like I could. You were far too good for him, and now it’s time for you to know what datin’ a real man is like. Mm, would you like that doll?

Yes, Bucky, please,” you whimpered.

Mm, you’re so responsive—I like that. I can take so much better care of you than my bastard of a son ever did,” Bucky mumbled, his beard scratching you as he kissed down your neck. You let out a small moan as he sucked on the spot where your neck connected to your shoulder. He nipped at it, before adding, “See? I’m already doin’ so much better than him. Bet he never could make you sing like this. And he never fuckin’ will, once you’re mine.

Who says I wanna be yours?” you said, biting down on your lip to stop the moans as one of his hands snuck up your dress and kneaded your breast.

Mm, I’ve seen the way you look at me, sunshine. I see the way you tremble when I compliment, how you preen when I call you a good girl. My son never did appreciate that, but I promise you I’ll never let you forget just how much I can give you if you keep bein’ my good girl. You gonna be my good girl?

You carded your fingers through his hair, tugging slightly at the roots. “God, fuck, please, I’ll be anything you want, just please!

What do you want me to do, sunshine?” he asked, his hand moving down from your breast and down to your soaking wet panties. He tugged them down quickly before he inserted a finger, then two, earning a quiet whimper from you. “You want me here, sunshine? Want me to ruin your tight little pussy?

Please, please, please,” you begged as the coil started to tighten.

Use your words,” he teased, his fingers curling expertly inside you as his thumb rubbed circles around your sensitive spot. “I’ve give you everything you want if you just tell me.

Want you inside me, shit, please,” you cried out. “I’m gonna—

Go ahead and cum all over my fingers, sunshine,” he said. “Be a good little girl for daddy, be a good little girl and come undone on daddy’s fingers.

You gasped, your eyes flying open as the coil snapped and waves of pleasure washed over you. You practically collapsed, but Bucky caught you, cradling you against his chest with one arm as he licked his fingers on his other hand.

Mm, just as sweet as I imagined,” he smirked, leaning down to kiss you. “Not gonna let you go now, sunshine. You’re all mine.

And he didn’t let you forget that night, or the night after that. He kept you caged underneath him, pulling orgasm after orgasm out of you until all you could think of was him. Your body was littered with bites and bruises from where he held you against him, a constant reminder of who you belonged to. By the time the weekend was over, you’d long since forgotten Connor’s name for Bucky’s was now forever ingrained in yours.

By the end of the month, you’d already gotten a rock on your hand, telling everyone that you’d moved on and that it was Bucky Barnes who’d won you over. And you know what? That was a hell of a lot better than revenge, ‘cause now Connor was going to have to forever live with the fact that you were soon going to be his mommy.
