Futaba - Yusuke, Goro: Get over here, noobs.
Goro: *sighs* What do you have planned now, Sakura-chan?
Goro puts his papers away and walks out of his apartment, taking the trains to Yongen-Jaya. He meets up with Yusuke who has a few streaks of paint across his shirt and pants. “Any idea what’s going on?” Goro asks only to be met with a hum and a shrug by the lanky male. “I’m sure Futaba wants us to meet at Leblanc, but I’m just as clueless as you as to why.”
They enter Leblanc and Sojiro waves them upstairs. “Futaba said you were coming,” in lieu of a greeting. They go up the stairs to see Futaba and Akira bickering over the docked Switch, there’s a fighting game shown on the screen, Goro isn’t sure which one. “Come pick your characters, newbies!”
Goro sighs and walks over to Futaba, looking at the choices on the screen before picking Dark Samus. Akira naturally picks Joker and the two of them begin to play. Due to Goro’s unfamiliarity with fighting games in general he keeps getting clobbered by Akira. Eventually Akira passes the controller to Futaba who grins like a shark that smells blood in the water.
Futaba and Goro play several rounds, each throwing the other’s characters off the stage while Yusuke and Akira watch. Goro huffs and hands his Joycon to Yusuke. Yusuke, the poor sap that he is, keeps losing due to being distracted by the graphics, especially in the water level.
Eventually it comes time for the last trains to leave but none of them wish to leave. Futaba goes to the house with Akira and they come back with futons and plenty of blankets as well as some pillows. The four of them get ready for bed with Futaba changing in the bathroom downstairs. She comes back up to see Akira and Goro spooning each other, Goro is the small one of course. Futaba lays down and doesn’t think she’ll be getting to sleep that easily, she’s wrong as she’s out like a light as soon as her head hits the pillow.
Yusuke for his part, sketches what he can of the scene before deciding to get some rest himself.
