The first thing they remembered was a sensation of pressure near their head, around their neck. Uncontrollable, uncomfortable swinging.
And cold. Cold running over and throughout the body.

They remember something soft, itchy being firmly patted around part of the body while something soft and warm was wrapped around the rest. Something rough running over them in a consistent pattern. The sharp smell of flora.
Soft voices speaking over them.
‘...did...find...’
‘...was just...there...no sign...or...litter...anywhere...alone...’

They remember the uncomfortable sensation of something damp lifting their ear. Touching their feet. Murmuring above them.
Another warmth replaces the itchy substance as quickly as it’s removed. More murmuring.

The next time they stir, they feel swaying, more gentle than the first time, and the slight increase in temperature, a pinch on their neck. No more sharp scent.
Being carefully placed down on something soft with a slight woodsy scent. A familiar warmth wrapping around them. Gentle rumbling.
