Work Text:
“He’s here!” Rebecca appeared from behind Louis and hissed into his ear, boring her almond-shaped nails onto Louis’ shoulders. Instead of disappearing at the same speed in which she emerged, she started to massage Louis’ tense shoulder muscles absentmindedly.
“Who’s here?” Louis replied nonchalantly, even though inwardly he’d been fired up since he first heard who Grimmy’s special guest was for the day.
“Harry Styles! ” Rebecca gushed, pink spots of excitement glowed across her cheeks. “I can’t believe I’m in the same bloody building with him. If I'm stood face to face with him I'll probably shit twice and die.”
“Smashing. What’s so special about him that’s got everyone going absolutely bonkers?” Louis asked flatly, flipping through the pages of some trashy tabloid, pretending he wasn’t one of those very same people going apeshit at the very mention of Harry. Just the knowledge that Harry Styles was down the corridor made his heart race erratically and the tips of his fingers began to stick to the page corners from the cold sweat he'd just broken out into.
“Have you not seen him? He’s blimmin' gorgeous,” Rebecca drooled, clearly enamored, whilst simultaneously trying to peek over the four foot tall cubicle wall that served as Louis’ office when he wasn’t in-studio hosting the midday show. Apparently, she had lost sight of her target and focused her attention back onto Louis again.
“I’m so jealous of Nick,” Rebecca sighed as she continued to rub Louis’ shoulders lazily. It was fine, Louis didn’t mind her doing it. She was actually quite skilled at it, however all sense of coordination seemed to have vanished into thin air when the thought of Harry Styles had encapsulated her every thought.
“Why on Earth would you be jealous of him?” Louis snorted incredulously. He couldn’t find a single reason to feel that way about Nick Grimshaw.
And if Louis was being completely honest, the less he was in contact with Nick, the better. They were workmates and Louis was a consummate professional; so he could handle the situation without issue. But would he spend a moment with him outside of work? Not a fucking chance.
“Harry is one of his best friends,” Rebecca continued in an admiring tone.
Louis almost spat the tea all over his desk that he had just taken a sip of. "What…?"
“Well, maybe if you ever spoke to him about anything besides work, you would have known that, yeah,” Rebecca noted dryly when Louis stared at her in disbelief. She tilted her head and pointed at Louis with her forefinger, saying “Seriously, I have never understood the animosity between you too.”
“He just gets on me nerves,” Louis muttered, wincing. “And I guess I do the same to him too.”
“Maybe you two should just go for a pint sometime and start to behave like proper grownups,” Rebecca said, shaking her head as she rolled her eyes upwards.
You’re one to talk, Louis thought inwardly. At least he had been able to keep his own fanboying moment hidden and not behave like the primary school girl Rebecca was acting like. That was grown-up behaviour and had nothing to do with his next move.
“So… Harry…?” Louis finally gave up and asked when Rebecca didn’t willingly return to the subject. Louis hated to be so nosy, but he just wanted — needed to know more about Harry’s connection with Nick.
Not that it would make any sort of difference in the long run — except ruin the filthy fantasies he has about himself and Harry together — if he were to find out there was something more going on between Nick and Harry. Of course, Louis had seen pictures of Nick and Harry in the same tabloids he read daily for his show, but he had never bothered to read the one’s with Nick’s face on them. Maybe if he had he would've known they were friends. Up until now he had just assumed it had been Nick being friendly with the people he interviewed regularly.
“What about him?” Rebecca drawled, stretching her arms towards the ceiling.
“Him and Nick!” Louis said abruptly when he saw the mentioned duo standing close together behind the glass door and laughing at what appeared to be Nick's meal during the Newsbeat segment.
“Oh,” Rebecca hummed knowingly. “Interesting.”
“And what’s that supposed to mean?” Louis scowled her.
“Nothing...” she shrugged. “Oh, shit! I forgot I'm meeting with James now.”
And then she was gone.
*
Louis glanced at the display on his desktop to check the time. It was quarter to one, and Louis still had plenty of time before his show began at two o’clock. Today, as usual, he had arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios early enough to give himself time to prepare for his upcoming show. His daily routine was to have a sandwich and a cup of tea whilst he scanned the tabloids that were delivered to his desk every morning in hopes of finding interesting articles worth talking about during his segments. He made notes that no one else would be able to decode courtesy of his shit handwriting, and wrote down some ideas on his pad of grid paper, marking a star next to the topics that were certainly worth mentioning on-air and marking some with question marks.
Despite his notes, he usually went with the flow and was open to listener suggestions during the broadcast. However, it was good to have something already thought out; you never knew what lurked behind the corner while doing a live show.
Louis dragged himself to the small kitchen to make himself another cuppa. He leant his hip on the worktop whilst waiting for the water to boil and scrolled through his Instagram feed. Finally, the slowest kettle in London had managed to bring the water to boil. He chucked a Yorkshire tea bag into the mug, after it steeped to his liking he added a splash of milk and was about to return to his desk.
“Louis!” James, his boss, shouted from the other end of the hallway Louis had just entered and was waving for him to stop. “I was just looking for you. We have an emergency!” James panted, clearly out of breath.
“Emergency…?” Louis frowned, looking around the empty space not seeing anything even remotely resembling an emergency. No screams, no alarms blaring or sprinklers activated.
“Nick had to go because he had to see his dentist right away, and I need someone to replace him immediately,” James explained hastily.
“What? I just saw him a half hour ago and he was happily chomping away on his sausage roll like a cow chews cud,” Louis winced at the memory of seeing the cozy looking banter between Nick and Harry Styles outside his office.
“Well, something came up, loose… err… hurt,” James said, already pushing him towards the studio.
”Loose hurt…?” Louis frowned. "What are you on about, James?”
“You’ve got two minutes until the song ends,” James continued, ignoring Louis’ statement completely.
“Here!” Right before James slammed the door closed behind Louis, he handed him a thin stack of papers. “Some information about the next guest.”
“Shit,” Louis grunted, switching his tea mug to the other hand, and taking the info packet James gave him with the other hand while he approached the large studio desk filled with different sorts of AV equipment; all very familiar to Louis.
He sat down in the host's chair and placed the papers down on the desk in front of him. First, he needed a proper gulp of tea and then he could focus on the material he was given. Maybe he could give a short spiel and explain why he was here instead of Nick and when the music was on again he would have time to read it through in one shot.
“Hi!” A low voice greeted Louis and a quarter of his mug spilled onto the desk when he jumped a few inches in the chair from being startled.
“Fuckin hell!” Louis cursed aloud trying to prevent the hot liquid from migrating to the very expensive equipment. The man handed him a few wrinkled tissues from only god knows where, and Louis sopped up the liquid as best he could, praying they hadn’t been used.
“They’re clean. Well, they were,” the guy said, as though he was reading Louis’ mind.
“What…?” Louis asked and turned to take a look at the visitor in the studio.
And fuck, Louis swore — this time quietly in his mind.
If he had given it even the slightest thought, he could have easily counted one plus one and deduced it’s the guest he was supposed to interview. But no, his mission today had been to just get his tea into the studio without spilling it and as a consequence, he was now stuck in-studio with Harry fucking Styles and he had no idea what to do next.
What a bloody nightmare!
Those were definitely not the words Louis hoped he would say after finally meeting Harry Styles face to face; without a protective glass wall or even a third wheel, so to speak. It was just two of them and Louis had to start thinking of what the hell he was going to say.
There was no time to waste anymore now that the current song playing had already begun to fade out. Louis launched himself forward in his seat, grabbed the set of headphones sitting on the desk and put them on his head before turning his focus to the large mixing software in front of him. With ease he stopped the music and spoke into his microphone.
“Welcome back, all you lovely listeners. That was Dua Lipa and Sir Elton John with Cold Heart.” The words poured effortlessly as Louis blocked Harry out of his mind for the moment. “This is Louis Tomlinson. And before you begin to doubt yourselves; no, you haven’t been transported an hour into the future. Nick apparently had to go to the dentist,” Louis explained before adding, “toothache, you all know what it is like. It sees no time or place. But I’m quite sure Nick, and his blinding smile, will be back very soon for your listening pleasure,” Louis dared to promise.
No one seemed to be panicking or hand wringing. Even Nick’s best fucking mate, Harry, seemed to be calm from across the desk while he observed Louis with his gorgeous mossy green eyes.
Fuck.
For a moment, Louis had actually managed to forget he was in-studio with Harry Styles. Harry who he was supposed to interview… Like now.
Usually when they had guests on their shows, they were promoting something, and the topics circulated around that. Why Harry was here today was beyond him. It must have been in the info packet James just handed him. The problem was, he was now on a live show and couldn’t just stop talking for a few minutes to read why Harry’s in-studio.
“This is the moment many of you have been waiting for all morning. No, I’m not talking about me this time, but our special guest for this afternoon. Britain’s favourite actor; the one and only… Mr Harry Styles,” Louis introduced, before clapping along with the producers and PA’s now hanging around the studio. “Welcome to BBC Radio 1, Harry.”
“Thank you, Louis,” said Harry, smiling sheepishly.
“We're gonna have a nice chat here with Harry for the next hour or so. We will be talking about his life and what his plans for the future are…” Louis feverishly tried to scan over the papers to find out the purpose of Harry’s visit but couldn’t find anything at all.
“And of course, we’re going to cut into his latest project— erm…” Louis stammered before a balled up piece of paper hit him on the forehead. When he looked up he saw Harry holding something in the air that looked like, “a book…?” Louis added, sounding like a question.
When Louis saw Harry nodding his head fiercely, he knew he had got it right.
“Cheers, mate,” Louis thanked Harry when he had ended his vague monologue and the preset music was playing again.
“You’re welcome,” Harry smiled, studying Louis curiously. “I don’t think you were given much time to prepare for this.”
“Yeah, you could say that,” Louis laughed nervously, trying to keep his thoughts together under Harry’s intense gaze. “Maybe ninety seconds, max.”
“Oh, shit,” Harry sympathized.
“Tell me about it,” Louis agreed, still visibly frazzled. “And would you excuse me for a sec, I just need to look over some info here so I don’t sound like a massive knob on air,” pointing to the stack of papers in front of him.
“Or you could just ask me,” Harry suggested, eagerly leaning forward in his chair.
“Yeah, sure,” Louis huffed absentmindedly.
“Why not? Who could give you better information right now, me or those sheets of paper?” Harry asked, cocking his brow.
“Well, you but—"
“No, buts. Just ask me,” Harry spoke with finality to his voice.
“Ok, fine,” Louis gave up. What’s the point making this even more difficult than it already was. “Why are you here then? I guess it has something to do with that book you’re holding, right?” Louis played along.
“Yep!” Harry nodded, his short curls energetically bouncing along with the movements of his head.
“Did you and Nick have any plans or ideas for how this interview was supposed to go? Any topics, besides the obvious, of course?” Louis asked, nodding his head towards the mysterious book in Harry’s hands.
“Just the usual. Like you said to the listeners; a bit of my family and career and then about the book. You know how these things go,” Harry replied, beatifically smiling.
Yeah, Louis knew. But usually he also had the time to get facts straight.
Okay, so maybe Louis had learnt a few random things about Harry from various sources over the years. The dilemma was, if he brought up that information now he could save face with the listeners and sound like the professional who’s done his research. But at the same time, he would also expose himself for being the fanboy he clearly was.
At that moment, Louis knew which one he was going to choose and would have to live with the consequences after.
“Ready?” Louis asked Harry when the song inevitably came to its end, once again. He was beginning to question if this bloody thing was playing songs at double speed or summat. There have been so many times over the years Louis had time to get a tea or even use the loo, but now he was barely able to exchange a couple of sentences with Harry before the clock on the display was announcing it was Louis’ turn to speak to the listeners again.
“Hello Harry, and one more time, welcome to BBC Radio 1.”
“Hiii!” Harry shrieked jovially into the microphone. Almost too perky, if Louis was asked. But he wasn’t, so he let it go after mentally rolling his eyes. He just hoped Harry wouldn’t turn into one of those unnervingly saccharine sounding people who gave Louis chills with their chaotic energy.
“Most of you know Harry best for his successful acting career, but also for being a very talented musician. So it’s only fitting he has now conquered a totally new medium. What is it? Well, we're gonna hear more about it later. But first, shall we talk about your career in general, Harry?”
“Sure.”
“Acting really runs in your family, doesn’t it?” Louis asked, now feeling slightly more relaxed.
“You could say that,” Harry emitted a small chuckle.
“Your mum is the Grand Old Lady from the theater world; Anne Twist.”
“She would kill you for calling her old,” Harry interrupted Louis with a grin.
“Note taken,” Louis winked. “Even though I clearly meant her fame. She has been a superstar of the stage for the past three decades, playing very diverse roles.”
“Guess so, yeah.” Harry agreed, nodding his head.
“Your older sister Gemma acts too,” Louis stated and Harry nodded as a yes as though the listeners would hear it by some miraculous way.
“Yes,” Harry finally said aloud. Maybe he heard Louis’ thoughts after all.
“But that’s not all?”
“I’m afraid not,” Harry laughed cheerfully. “My stepfather is a director and my dad is a script writer. In the film industry, though.”
“You have also acted in more films than in theatre. Was it a conscious decision or did it just happen that way?” Louis asked, curious for Harry’s answer too.
“Erm. I think, it’s a mixture of both, really. I basically grew up in the theatre from a very early age. I was already on stage with small supporting roles when they needed child actors. Erm, but later when I got the chance to make films, I — overshly — wanted to give that a try.”
Overshly? Louis cocked his head to the side as he replayed that word in his head. Choosing to ignore the pronunciation, he pressed on with the next question, “And haven’t been in theatres since?”, Louis asked, even if he already knew the answer.
“No, I haven’t,” Harry said, now looking curiously at Louis.
“You had a few smaller roles before you finally hit the jackpot with Dunkirk four years ago. Did it change your life remarkably?” Louis rushed to ask, trying to keep the blush away from his cheeks under Harry’s watchful gaze.
“Erm, not as much as you’d think. I mean I’m still the same person as before, well, at least I’d like to think so. But yeah, people recognize me more often on the street now and it has afforded me with more opportunities, which I’m very grateful for.”
“Like The Little Mermaid?”
“That too.”
“Impressive, to say the least. We’ll return to that after the break. Now it’s time for some music again,” Louis pushed the button and the news update started to roll in the background. When he hoisted himself up to stretch his back a bit, he saw Harry on the other side leaning back in his chair; arms crossed and a smug expression plastered on his face.
“What?” Louis asked when he noticed he was being gawked at.
“Nothing…” Harry smirked.
“Trying to be mysterious isn't sexy,” Louis said sourly.
“You think I’m sexy?” Harry grinned as he cocked his head to the side.
“I believe I hinted at just the opposite, didn’t I?” Louis stared at him with narrowed eyes.
Harry shrugged his shoulders but didn’t look offended. “You didn’t answer my question though...”
If Louis didn’t know better, he would have thought Harry was flirting with him. But that wasn’t the case here. No. Absolutely not.
Or was it…?
Louis felt the intensity of Harry’s glare burning into his flesh and he didn’t dare raise his head to meet his eyes. And of fucking course this time the music seemed to crawl at the speed of six hundred sloths, just when Louis hoped it would save him from this palpably awkward moment between just the two of them, mere feet apart.
“Water!” Louis jumped from the chair and ran to the door.
“I’m just gonna go and get us some water,” Louis called out from the doorway to a newly-confused Harry as he rushed out of the studio in haste, knocking Rebecca — who seemed to have been lurking from behind the door — down on his way out.
“What the hell are you doing down there?” Louis snorted at her.
“Oh— Just picking up some rubbish off the floor,” Rebecca muttered guiltily and disappeared to another area of the studio.
“How is it going? With Harry?” James appeared next to him, following Louis to the kitchen like a puppy.
“Good…” Louis replied suspiciously, taking two bottles of water from the fridge and putting them on the table. Why is everyone acting so fucking weird? Or was it just his imagination playing tricks on him again? “Aren’t you listening to it?”
“I am, of course. It’s my job, innit?” James emitted a nervous sounding laugh. “But you’re getting along with Harry, right?”
“Hmm… Yeah… I guess,” Louis muttered to the now empty room as James had already sprinted out the door. Louis followed him into the hallway, his brows tightly knit together. He felt like he was living in his own version of The Truman Show; unknowingly playing the main role on a show he didn’t even know existed.
Louis glanced at the big clock across the hall, similar to what was hanging on every schools’ walls all over the country and shit , he really needed to run back to the studio.
There were still 33 seconds left on the countdown when Louis sat down in his chair again and tried to catch his breath. Harry’s eyes were back on him and Louis realised the damn water bottles were still on the table in the kitchen where he had sat them down while talking to James.
“Where's the water Louis…?” Harry smirked knowingly.
“Out of stock,” Louis said bluntly and slipped the headphones over his pink-tipped ears, as he watched Harry bend down and pull a reusable water bottle from his purse that hung from a hook off the corner of the table.
“Want some…?” Louis read from his lips and stretched the pink bottle towards Louis.
“I’m good,” Louis wheezed between his teeth and pressed his mic on.
Harry just shrugged and took a sip from his bottle — annoyingly if you asked Louis — as a cheeky smile caressed his lips.
Red, plump lips.
Louis licked his own to distract himself from his own thoughts, remembering he probably should speak to the listeners instead of getting hard in his seat over Harry’s sinful lips.
“Erm—” Louis paused to clear his throat, that at the moment definitely needed hydration from something besides his own saliva. The remains of his tea were still in the mug and Louis knocked it back to quench his barren throat. It was cold and slightly bitter but was better than nothing anyway.
“Ok,” Louis started again, “we’re ready to continue our little chit chat here, aren’t we Harry?”
“Yes, Louis…. Yes, we are,” Harry drawled in a voice that made Louis’ knees feel weak even though he was sitting.
“Good. Good,” Louis repeated and rapidly pulled himself together. “Before the break I briefly mentioned your latest film, The Little Mermaid. It wasn’t the animated version we’re used to with Disney films, was it?”
“No. The story itself was, overshly, the same but this was a live-action adaptation of it.”
Hearing Harry mispronounce "obviously" again caused the corners of Louis' mouth to turn up slightly.
“I guess you've seen the original version too?”
“Of course,” Harry replied, dimples on full display.
“Was it difficult to start filming it when you had an image of the previous version in your mind?”
“Yes and no,” Harry replied. “The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favourites; as a book as well as on film. I knew exactly what the film had been about the last time. But I had Eric’s story in my head and from the beginning I knew how I wanted to play him. I was very relieved when my characterization seemed to mesh well with the director’s vision too.”
“So, is Harry Styles going to be seen in another Disney movie later?” Louis tried to fish for information.
“Only time will tell,” Harry replied mysteriously.
“Have you ever thought about doing just a voice role?”
“I have actually done a few of them before this one, too.”
“Oh, really?” That was definitely new information to Louis.
“Just a few small roles in animated shows. It’s actually quite fun to do from time to time, but I prefer the traditional ways of filming. All the interaction with the whole cast and crew,” Harry explained, smiling.
“Any new music coming?” Louis swallowed any questions about romantic interactions with his co-stars and decided to change the topic.
“Not right now because I have been tied up with my other project,” Harry knocked the book against the table like he wanted to remain talking about the sole reason for his visit. All Louis could focus on was the image of Harry being “tied up” in his mind. Not exactly helping out with the situation going on in his trousers at the mo’. He pulled himself out from the recesses of his seedy mind and continued with the interview.
“Perhaps it’s a good time to reveal what Harry’s new project is… But after the break,” Louis pressed the promo button and dropped his headset so it hung loosely across the back of his neck.
Harry announced he had to have a wee and Louis had time to be alone for a moment. It had gone surprisingly well so far, and Harry played a massive role in that. He was easy to get along with and their banter progressed naturally. Harry was as friendly and polite as Louis had read (and hoped) he would be. Louis got those vibes from him from all the interviews and promo videos he had seen of him in the past, but it still had been a pleasant surprise to notice they were actually true. The awkward moments had been there because of his own stupid infatuation, Louis had to admit that too.
Harry made his way back inside the studio space, startling Louis away from his thoughts. He plopped on the other side of the desk and threw Louis a similar bottle of water as the one he found from the fridge during the last break. Harry didn’t say anything, he just concentrated on taking a sip from his own customized hydro flask. Yeah, the pink bottle with sparkling rainbows on it looked cool, but they just weren’t Louis’ thing. They were just too… trendy, much like avocados. Louis didn’t easily jump on those bandwagons but Harry seemed to naturally gravitate towards fashion and accessory trends.
“20 seconds,” Louis announced to Harry, turning back to the soundboards. Just then he realized he had no clue what the damn book they were going to discuss was actually about. He switched their mics on again, he waved for Harry to give him the book so he could have a look at it.
Fortunately for him, Harry understood his flailing about and passed the book to Louis just before he spoke.
“It’s 1:24 and we're back in the studio with the charming and dare I say annoyingly multi-talented, Harry Styles. So far, we've spoken about your acting and music career, so now we’re gonna jump ahead to your latest achievement. Would you like to tell our listeners what that is?” Louis asked and without waiting for Harry's response, he opened the book randomly in the middle. And ugh…
“It’s my cookbook ‘Cooking With Style’!” Harry chirped cheerily. “S’funny, cuz it’s also my last name. Well, sort of, there might be an ‘s’ that was lost in translation,” Harry quipped again, quite pleased with himself.
“Right, not touching that one,” Louis said, mentally rolling his eyes for the name. Cooking with Style . Really?
”So, tell us Harry, how did you wind up writing a cookbook then?” Louis asked, pushing his thoughts away, flipping through the pages of the book, increments of mild disgust blooming with every page turn.
“I love to cook! My mum worked quite a lot when we were growing up, and when I was old enough to use the stove, without burning the house down in the process, I usually prepared our meals,” Harry shared as he described his upbringing and love of food.
“Child labor,” Louis grinned.
“Yeah. Fortunately, it was legal in this case,” Harry said in a serious tone.
“Yeah, of course,” Louis agreed, as he imagined stuffing his entire foot in his mouth.
“But that was when the spark to cook had been ignited for the first time.” Again, clearly pleased with his selection of words. “And if that isn’t the icing on the cake, I used to be a baker too,” Harry continued.
It took everything within Louis to not groan out loud. He truly, truly hated a pun. Being the professional that he was, he continued with his interview.
“But it’s still a long way to go from cooking at home to writing an actual book. How did that happen?”
“I love having dinner parties and cooking five course meals for my guests, or going to the park for a picnic with friends. Over the years there have been numerous recipes I created and at some point I began to write them down. Some of the recipes in this book are more festive or formal, but mainly I wanted to have a book composed of quick and basic recipes,” Harry explained enthusiastically.
“But your book is all about healthy eating, right? Salads, smoothies, veg and all that…” Louis listed, trying his damndest not to gag.
“I like to eat healthfully, so yeah, the recipes mainly are too. But there are a few desserts too. Now I must admit my mint chocolate mousse is sinful,” Harry leaned in to whisper like it was a big dirty secret.
Louis was salivating.
He wanted to taste the mousse… served, of course, on Harry’s backside where he could lick it off savoring all his flavours. The now-visible tenting in Louis’ jeans startled him into realizing he was moving into dangerous territory and he should say something quickly as his rather unprofessional fantasies had catapulted his stress level to new heights. He quickly dropped his notes into his lap and looked up.
Only to realize Harry had silently wheeled his chair around the desk because his face was a mere six inches away from his.
“I can make it for you,” Harry promised, and Louis had no idea what the fuck was he talking about. “The mousse,” Harry added.
“Erm—“ Louis replied. Then he remembered he was still on-air doing a live show and that there was still time left in their segment. He cleared his throat and tried to think of something clever to say — and failed miserably.
“D’ya like broccoli, Harold?” was all that came out from his mouth and Louis wanted to maroon himself under the desk for the next week or so. Like what the fuck. Where the hell did that even come from? Broccoli? He hated those miniature sulphuric trees more than anything.
Well, apart from avocado.
“I do, Louis. But not necessarily with chocolate mousse. Hey Lou, did you know you can make a fantastic chocolate mousse with avocados? It’s so creamy and delicious, I could lick the whole bowl clean if given the chance,” Harry laughed; his face still so close to Louis he could feel his hot breath on his skin.
“Yes, of course,” Louis agreed as he sat silently seething, of course he would use avo-bloody-cado in his trendy recipes , he finished that thought in his head and pushed himself up forcefully, twisting his chair against the control panel in the process. This definitely wasn't a planned break, but Louis just needed it right now and then they could close off the segment after. “We’ll return shortly and continue speaking with Harry.”
Louis clicked the play button and music started to stream. Now he would have 6 minutes and 41 seconds to pull himself back together and to start behaving like a proper radio host if he could only will his massive erection away.
Fortunately for him, all the talk about the broccoli and avocados had, thank god, softened his burgeoning boner but he still couldn’t stop thinking about Harry’s seductive voice when he had spoken about the mint chocolate mousse. Maybe he should consider reopening his Grindr app after this and finally get laid again once and for all.
His thoughts were cut short when the studio door was pulled open and without asking permission, a brunette lad stepped briskly into the room.
”Hi, Haz!” Niall, one of Louis’ colleagues, rushed to shake Harry’s hand.
”Hello, Niall. Good to see you again. It’s been a while,” Harry flashed a friendly smile.
”You two know each other?” Louis asked, frowning.
”Yeah. A few years now, you reckon H?” Niall shrugged like it was just a normal thing to know a superstar like Harry.
”How—?” Louis stuttered. And how the hell did everyone else seem to actually know Harry in person except for him?
”I was his future brother-in-law once,” Harry grinned, taking a look at Niall.
”You were wot?” Louis pivoted his gaze from Harry to Niall, and then back to Harry like he was watching a live tennis match in their studio.
”He dated my sister,” Harry sighed.
”You did what?!?” Louis cried out, focusing his eyes on Niall. ”So, you don’t only know Harry here, you also dated Gemma Styles? Why didn't I know any of this?”
”Lou, I’ve talked to you about her. Numerous times, in fact,” Niall claimed.
”You have? 'Must have been sleeping then,” Louis replied flatly.
”I’ve mentioned Gem’s name quite a bit over the years.”
”Gem?” Louis asked, stunned. ”The Gem you have spoken about is Gemma Styles? And all those things you've done with h—”
“I beg you! Don’t finish that sentence, please!” Harry yelped, covering his ears with his hands.
Louis stared at him a while before saying “Fair enough, mate.” If someone had talked the same way to him about his own sisters, heads would roll.
Niall continued chatting with Harry, and Louis tried to recall what they had been talking about before the break on the show, as images assaulted his mind of Harry shamelessly writhing around, mint chocolate mousse drizzled over his naked body.
“See you later, Haz!” Niall yelled from the door and it made Louis dart his eyes back to the monitor. Find a random goldfish, and Louis was sure it’s attention span would be three times greater than his was during this show. He was already counting down the minutes until this disaster would finally end.
“We've just got a couple more minutes with Harry here in the studio before I take over the Afternoon shift. This is Louis Tomlinson and my guest today is actor, musician and now also an author, Harry Styles.”
“Hi again, Lou.”
“We've talked about your past, but we simply can’t let you go without asking about your future plans. Can you reveal anything about your upcoming endeavours to our listeners?”
“Despite really enjoying this cookbook project, my main focus for the future will remain on acting.”
“So, this was a one-time book deal for you?”
“For now, yeah. But never say never,” Harry replied with a wink.
“How about your music? Anything new we can expect to hear soon?”
“I've played a few gigs in small venues across London every now and again, and I’m very pleased that people still want to come out and see me. I do write songs just for fun, but right now I don’t have plans to go into the studio to make another album.”
“But maybe someday we’ll get that too.”
“Maybe. Again, never say never,” Harry grinned again.
“Okee then. This cryptically mysterious man sat before me for the past hour has been Harry Styles, round of applause folks, and his new cookbook will be in shops—”
“Friday,” Harry whispered, covering his microphone.
“On Friday. Go and get it. Make a seaweed smoothie or avo on 28 grain toast or summat. Our chat with Harry will be available soon as a podcast, in case you’ve been living under a rock and missed it. One more time, thank you Harry for coming in today. It was nice to speak with you. Hope to see you again.”
“Thank you, Louis. It’s been all my pleasure,” Harry smiled.
“And for those who thought they would soon be rid of me, sorry to disappoint you. I’m here with you lot until six. Now we're gonna have a short break, then it’s time to speak about my favourite topics: Premier League footie, the newest Glastonbury line up announced this morning, and where the best Chippies in England are, tweet me your favourites using the hashtag: ‘chippiesfortommo’ and I may just go check one out!”

After his show, Louis was knackered and to be quite honest, a bit pissed off. The latter is how he found himself stepping inside the pub next door to the studios. His own show went smoothly so that wasn’t the cause of his foul mood.
No, this was totally Harry’s fault.
Or James’. Or Nick’s. Regardless, after he finished the segment with Harry, Louis barely had time to personally thank him for being a good sport whilst he filled in at the last minute for Numpty Nick before James barged his way into the studio and dragged him away, leaving Louis in the studio alone, disappointed and still sporting a semi. He knew it was all in his head that a man like Harry could even give him a passing thought, but he could've at least had a chance to have a proper go at it.
Louis pushed open the creaky pub door and the first person he saw sitting at his usual table was none other than Nick the Tosser Grimshaw himself. The Gods really had it out for him today.
”Tommo,” Nick nodded politely when he noticed Louis.
“Grimmy,” Louis squinted his eyes suspiciously. “What are you doing here?”
“Having a pint.”
“I thought you had lock jaw, or something equally beneficial to me. Clearly… I was mistaken,” Louis sourly remarked, causing Nick to burst into raucous laughter.
“Nah, just had to make a quickie to the dentist, had summat stuck in m’teeth. Sorry to disappoint you.”
“That’s your excuse for skipping out on your show? At the last minute may I remind you?” Louis asked, widening his eyes, trying to fish for any information that would make sense.
“Yeah, something like that, Louis,” Nick shrugged and took a gulp from his pint.
“Look Tommo, I feel bad. Let me buy you a pint, you look like you need one, mate,” Nick offered, a shit-eating grin smeared on his face.
“Fukin’ right I do, mate ,” Louis snapped through clenched teeth and walked to the bar. For once, Nick might be right. Louis definitely needed a drink.
“Give me a shot of Patron, Liam. Please,” he added quickly, not wanting to sound like an arsehole.
“Tequila...?” Liam raised his brow. “You’re sure?”
“No,” Louis sighed, “but give it to me anyway. I think I need it. And, Nick’s buying,” Louis told the familiar bartender, cocking his head behind him, referencing Nick.
“Rough day?” Liam asked, a line of worry formed along his forehead. Although, he always seemed to be pensive about something so Louis wasn’t sure if he was the main source for his concern.
“You could say that.”
“Wanna talk about it?” The handsome bartender asked, reaching for a shot glass from off the shelf, eyes still focused on Louis.
“Nah mate, s'just stupid,” Louis mumbled, watching how Liam rubbed the rim of the shot glass with a wedge of lime and dipped it onto a plate of salt before filling it with the transparent liquid.
“There’s nothing I haven’t heard at least twice before,” Liam assured, and slid the shot glass along with a few extra lime and orange wedges, and sat a shaker of salt in front of Louis.
“I just interviewed someone I’d rather not've had to,” Louis said and knocked the shot back without bothering to use the extra salt. He bit into the orange to get rid of the unpleasant taste; the main reason he (mostly) stayed away from tequila in the first place. But now the liquor stung his throat in just the way he hoped it would and a warm feeling spread out into his limbs. Just before Louis clinked the tiny empty glass against the bar top, he heard a scuffle sound from behind.
“Erm—“ The low voice said.
“Harry!” Louis shouted when he turned around and saw who the voice belonged to. “What are you doing here?”
“I just— Erm… It doesn’t matter, really. I… I should go now...” Harry mumbled, hitching his thumb behind him before spinning around and walking away, leaving an entirely confused Louis in his wake.
“Was that Harry Styles?” Liam asked, eyes as wide as saucers.
“Yah...” Louis said, still baffled. What the hell was Harry doing here?
“I didn’t know you knew him,” Liam said as he was trying to buff away a sticky stain from the bartop.
“I don't,” Louis said absentmindedly while his gaze followed as Harry walked towards the table Nick was sitting at.
“Would you like to, though?” Liam asked in a tone that made Louis turn his focus back to the bartender.
“Why do you ask?” Louis countered, still avoiding answering Liam.
“Look mate, I’m a bartender and I’ve seen that same look in so many people’s eyes before,” Liam replied slowly, staring at something behind Louis.
“And that qualifies you as some sort of Love Guru or summat, does it?” Louis huffed, and shit. He just didn’t say that did he…?
“I knew it!” Liam exclaimed merrily.
“Knew what…?” Louis rolled his eyes, still refusing to give Liam the satisfaction of knowing he was right.
“That you fancy Harry.”
“I never said that ,” Louis scowled at him.
“Oh, I must have misunderstood, then. That’s too bad though...” Liam shrugged nonchalantly and turned his back to continue scrubbing the already spotless bartop under the glass shelves that housed the liquor.
“Oi!” Louis yelled and tossed a coaster in his direction to catch the bartender's attention again.
“Yes?” Liam turned back around, displaying his very best customer service smile.
“You can’t just do that,” Louis lamented.
“Can't do what...?” Liam furrowed his forehead as if he didn’t understand what Louis was implying.
“To hint at something and then just— stop,” Louis hissed between gritted teeth.
“But you just said you weren’t interested—”
“For fucks sake, I lied, Liam. Are you happy now,” Louis snapped, more out of his own frustration than Liam’s annoying habit of dodging around the topic. If Louis was being totally honest, he would have behaved exactly the same way Liam was now, or even worse, if he had been in Liam’s loafers.
“Would you just spill it now, Liam?” Louis begged.
“Someone’s impatient,” Liam grinned but when he saw Louis’ glum face he quickly whispered, “I don’t think you’re alone with your little school boy crush.”
“And why's that?” Louis tried to pretend he couldn’t care less right now, even though that tiny spark of hope he buried inside was enough to ignite the flame caused by Liam’s words.
Could Harry really be interested in him too?
“What makes you say that?” Louis finally asked, breaking the sudden silence that had fallen between them.
Liam deadpanned, “Well, cos he's been broodily staring at you since he sat down at that table, mate,” he nodded toward the booth he and Nick were sat at.
“He has...?” Louis asked using all of his willpower not to turn his gaze towards the booth he assumed Harry and Nick were at right now.
“Yep. And he’s still sporting that same sad, dejected look on his face while he moped off from here,” Liam said and only then Louis remembered again what had originally led Harry to run off.
“Fuckin hell,” he cursed quietly. “He heard what I said, didn’t he?”
“Yeah, think so mate,” Liam admitted. “Based on what I know, I can’t find any reason why you wouldn’t want to interview him.”
“I— I just expressed myself badly,” Louis sighed, raking his hand through his hair as though the simple gesture would give him the solution to his problem.
“Look,” Louis plopped his elbows onto the bar counter and leaned his chin on his palms. “I was thrown into that interview without any warning that Harry would be there. When you add in a fuckin’ hopeless schoolyard infatuation, the outcome doesn't look good for me, I just felt out of sorts. D’ya know what I mean?”
“Ouch,” Liam gave a laugh. “I get it mate, bad timing though.”
“Have I totally fucked things up with Harry? Crazy to think I even had a chance in the first place,” Louis huffed.
“I think you should just go and talk to him,” Liam advised without noticing Louis' desperation.
“Here,” Liam pushed two freshly pulled pints in front of Louis.
“On the house,” Liam nodded to a confounded Louis. “The other one’s for Harry, Lou.”
“Oh, cheers mate,” Louis finally understood Liam’s gesture. With hesitation laced in his voice he thanked Liam and pushed himself up from where he was sat at the bar.
“You’ll be fine, Louis. Trust me,” Liam said confidently and gave Louis a light squeeze on the shoulder to encourage him.
Louis exhaled deeply, summoning the courage to act instead of standing in the middle of a pub holding two pints like a wanker. Finally, it was Nick’s sneery gaze alongside his inner pep talk that gave him the much needed push to walk over to their table.
“Here,” Louis repeated Liam’s recent words as he shoved one of the pints in front of Harry, then hesitated slightly as to where he should sit, opting to slide onto the bench next to Nick. “And m'sorry,” he added sheepishly.
“Thanks,” Harry smiled timidly under the unruly curls that fell over his eyes. He didn’t ask what Louis was apologizing for but he saw the silent question in his gaze. Before Louis had time to respond, Nick was already demanding to be noticed too.
“Where’s my pint, Tomlinson?” he asked with an obnoxious grin set on his face. “I’m not pretty enough to get one like our Harry here?”
“I have my reasons for bringing Harry that pint,” Louis dryly replied, hoping the telltale blush felt on his cheeks would piss off. “You still seem to have yours well-filled.”
Nick roared with laughter, throwing his head backwards to amplify his action, “Yeah, I’m sure you had your reasons,”. Louis was only a second away from sacrificing his own beer and pouring it into his colleague's lap just to shut his smug arse up.
Nick’s clothes were saved from their imminent hops bath as at that exact moment a group of his Radio 1 colleagues stormed through the doorway and plunked themselves down at the very next table to theirs.
“Heyyy!” James crowed, trying to look like he was surprised to see them and failing badly, if you asked Louis. “And Harry, nice to see you again, so soon too,” James pointed to Harry shaking the poor man’s hand as though he was a ragdoll.
“We’re going to go grab a pint,” James nodded towards the bar where Rebecca and Niall were already headed, after acknowledging the gang around the table.
“S’cuse me Tommo, need to have a wee,” Nick declared, forcing Louis to slide out and up from the bench.
“You’re welcome…” Louis muttered mainly to himself when Nick had pushed past him and disappeared from his sightline. He slid himself to the end of the bench swapping his and Nick’s pints on the table.
“Cheers!” he raised his glass to Harry, completely baffled by the goings on in the bar when suddenly he was met by a pair of forest green eyes aimed at him.
“Cheers!” Harry smiled back and sipped cautiously from his glass. However, it was enough to make him cough as he managed to aspirate the white foamy head instead of swallowing the amber liquid.
“Sorry,” Louis apologized again. He had to explain that what he overheard him say to Liam at the bar was a misunderstanding, but once again it turned out to be harder than Louis thought.
“You don’t have to apologize, Louis. You don’t have to like every person you interview. I completely understand that,” Harry smiled weakly, looking down at his finger circling the rim of his pint glass.
“No, no,” Louis hurried to say. “Look, you’ve got it all wrong! I really do like—”
Harry’s eyes snapped up from the wooden surface he had been staring at and his mouth was opening to speak when—
“Here,” Nick sat the new pint down in front of Harry. “It’s Crowmoor. Extra dry, just the way you like it,” he announced, giving Louis a knowing look.
“Our Harry here doesn’t like beer,” he continued to Louis, as he sat down next to Harry and slung his arm around Harry’s shoulder. “He’s just too nice a bloke to say anything about it. Especially to you.”
Louis couldn’t help but smirk when he saw Harry wiggle himself out from under Nick’s embrace and glanced at his friend grimly while doing it. Then he turned his attention back to Louis again but before he had time to say anything, their booth went from cozy to chaotic as the rest of the BBC gang piled themselves around the table and all of them started to chat loudly amongst one another. The only time they quieted down over the next hour was whenever Harry or Louis tried to say something to each other. Only then did the bunch of noisy brats fall completely silent, their eyes following every movement Harry and Louis made.
Louis quickly realised it was pointless trying to have a proper conversation with Harry when they had four nosy chaperones around them and he settled instead with drinking his pint in silence whilst listening to the others speak. Then he drank Harry’s, which he had graciously offered back to Louis when Louis’ was empty.
At some point another fresh pint appeared in front of him. I’ll leave after this one , he decided to himself when he was halfway through it. He loved all of his co-workers, well almost all, but right now they were just too much for Louis’ current state of mind. He just wanted to curl under his thick duvet and ruminate in his current, loveless existence. Then have a sad wank over this entire fiasco because he didn’t even have the energy for Grindr.
Louis was positive that being sat opposite Harry wasn’t good for his mental health or his poor heart. He could feel someone playing footsie with him, and considering the only options were Nick (hell no), James and Rebecca (never) and Harry (as if). He figured he must have been tipsier than he thought as he consumed the last dregs of his pint before excusing himself to use the toilet.
If he had just said he was leaving, Louis knew his friends would have tried to talk him out of it and there would have been the usual convincing him to stay and him trying to convince them to let him leave. And he had to use the loo anyway, so two birds with one stone. Smart.
He had just managed to zip his jeans up at the urinals when Harry entered the men’s room and promptly stepped into a bathroom cubicle, causing Louis' heart to beat wildly in his chest.
He could hear Harry’s every move behind him and he had to close his eyes just to focus on washing his trembling hands. Louis didn’t feel as confident with his plan now as he did back at the table.
When he opened them again, the first thing he saw was Harry’s eyes boring into his own through the mirror.
“I’m leaving,” Louis said in a voice so low he wouldn’t have recognized it as his own. He didn’t even know why he felt it necessary to tell Harry that right here, right now. The words just spewed from his mouth before he was able to stop them.
“Wait for me outside the pub,” were the last words Louis expected Harry to reply with. Louis was too stunned to even respond to Harry and after giving one long look at Harry’s reflection in the mirror, Louis pulled the door open, went back to the table to say goodbye to his workmates and walked out onto the street.
For the first time in hours he was able to breathe normally again. He plucked a cigarette from the wrinkled package, placed it between his lips and lit it. He smoked his cigarette as he paced back and forth, eventually deciding to lean against the lamp post about twenty paces away from the pub door. It was also the exact spot where Harry found him a few minutes later.
Louis wasn’t sure if he was surprised or not to actually see Harry appear outside like he said he would. And he definitely wasn’t prepared for him to march straight up to Louis, place his hand on the lamp post behind Louis’ head before pulling him close to kiss him in the middle of the bustling street. At first the kiss was rough, but it turned soft and tender as the seconds passed. Harry’s hand gripped tightly onto Louis’ waist while the fingers from his other hand stroked the nape of his neck, sending tiny shivers down his spine.
“I have wanted to do that since first setting eyes on you,” Harry whispered into Louis’ ear when their kiss finally broke.
“Shit, me too, you looked really fit today,” Louis breathed out.
“Erm… yeah, course. Erm— I don’t want to sound too forward but… do you think… erm… I don’t suppose you’d consider coming back with me to mine? I’ve got something I’d like for you to try. Erm… from my book?” Harry asked, biting his lip and mere seconds from drawing blood.
“From your book? Like vegan sushi or summat?” Louis winced at the thought.
“Erm, no actually, it's that mint chocolate mouss—”
“Fuckin hell, yes!” Louis answered faster than the speed of sound, his ears weren’t the only things that pricked, err, piqued his interest.
Harry stilled with confusion, clearly not aware of what his admission had done to Louis and/or his pants again.
“Right, then. Lead the way, Barefoot Contessa!” Louis couldn’t help himself.
Harry beamed in delight and quite literally skipped his way to the UberLux pick up point.
*
”Can I ask you something…?” Harry asked, as he chewed his lower lip, still visibly nervous while he whisked whipping cream in a large stainless steel bowl.
”Sure,” Louis turned to look at Harry from the kitchen doorway he was currently stood in.
”In the pub, you said to the bartender… Erm… that if it were up to you, you wouldn’t have wanted to interview me…” Harry asked awkwardly as he wielded the spatula to scrape the whipped contents away from the edges of the bowl.
”Sorry, that wasn’t meant for you to hear,” Louis winced as he scratched the back of his head.
”I know. But that’s usually when you hear the truth, innit?” Harry shrugged sadly.
“S’pose so,” Louis admitted as he walked closer to Harry. ”But this time, it couldn't be farther from the truth.”
”What d’ya mean?” Harry asked and handed Louis the bowl of melted chocolate and the spatula signaling for him to pour the chocolate over the whipped cream.
Louis busied himself by pouring in the chocolate so he could avoid eye contact. “The reason I didn’t want to interview you was because I've had this ridiculous thing for you for ages now, and I didn’t want to sound like an unprepared, stuttering git. Which I managed to do anyway,” Louis confessed and dodged around Harry to place the empty bowl in the sink.
”What…?” Harry’s face distorted in utter confusion.
“Right embarrassing, innit?” Louis huffed and watched as Harry skillfully folded the cream and chocolate into one smooth chocolate cloud.
“I mean, it could be….” Harry glanced at Louis while he added drops of peppermint extract into the mixture. “Unless the other person happened to be feeling the same way about that other person, too.”
“Wot?”
“Looks like the feeling might be mutual…” Harry said slowly and scooped some of the mousse into a small ceramic bowl and put the lid on the bigger one before pushing it into the fridge to fully set.
“Really…?” Louis stepped closer, his expression changing from dumbfounded to intrigued as he wrapped his arms around Harry’s waist, pulling him closer.
“Yeah…Oh, one more thing…” Harry said just when Louis was about to kiss those gorgeous lips once again. “I may have been the one responsible for having you interview me…”
“Mmm…” Louis mumbled absentmindedly against Harry's lips. “Wait… What?!? ”
Harry took a step back to look Louis in the eye, “Well, I kinda asked if you could do it, instead of Nick….”
“Harry! You could have come on me’ own show and I could have been prepared for it,” Louis admonished, rubbing his hands up and down his face in exasperation.
“And kill all the fun?” Harry grinned. ”No, but seriously, it was just something that happened on a whim. And when I asked Nick, suddenly the whole team seemed to be on board with the idea.”
“I knew it!” Louis yelled out, causing Harry to flinch for a second.
“You did?”
“Well, I didn’t know it was your devilish plan, but I knew something was up because everyone had been acting so bloody bizarre.”
“Are you angry with me?” Harry asked cautiously after Louis had suddenly fallen silent.
“Of course not, you fool,” Louis bopped Harry’s nose. ”But you’ll have to make it up to me, you know, for putting me through such anguish and turmoil…”
“Hmm… And what that might be…” Harry whispered onto Louis' lips.
“Grab that fookin’ mousse there, and I’ll show ya, Curly…”
*
They stumbled through the flat to Harry’s bedroom without dropping the bowl of mousse, which was a feat unto itself considering the many walls and pieces of furniture they bumped into and against along the way.
Harry managed to set the bowl down on the bedside table and crawl onto the bed before draping himself languidly across it, looking up as Louis began to undress himself.
“Take off that ridiculous shirt Harry, I don’t want to be reminded that you want to fellate George Harrison while I'm, ironically, sucking you off.”
Harry proceeded to look down at his shirt, and shrugged his neck to his shoulder as if he could take it or leave it. He must have decided to leave it because a moment later it was balled up on the floor.
“Four nipples, Mr. Styles. So it’s true what I read about you,” Louis grinned down at Harry splayed out on the bed, and he crawled up the foot of the bed to hover over him.
Harry chuckled, “Yeah, s’true. What else have you been reading about me, Lou?”
Fuck. Louis panicked for a second before realising that Harry is literally beneath him and it didn’t look like any sort of confession was going to change that. Fuck it.
“Ok, let’s see…” he began as he straddled Harry’s lap. “I read that you grew up in Holmes Chapel.” Louis leaned forward to his right to retrieve the bowl of mousse from the side table.
“You used to wear these gross purple trainers before discovering your love of a good Chelsea boot.” He dipped his finger into the mousse and held it up in the air.
“Ryan Gosling makes your heart rate double, which admittedly, makes me jealous. But I’ll get over it quickly because he doesn't have a near-naked Harry beneath him with a bowl of decadent mousse like I do,” Louis quipped, as he swiped his finger across Harry’s lower lip before dipping down to suck it off.
“Mmm, s’quite good Haz,” Louis praised, licking his lips.
Harry groaned so slowly that Louis had to double check that he was ok. Before he could ask, Harry thrust his hips up into Louis’ arse just to show how affected he was by Louis.
“I also know that you once dressed up as Miley Cyrus for Halloween, with electrical tape over your nipples. You looked so naughty that night Haz. Judging by some of the photos I saw, you needed a good spanking too. All in good time tho, love.”
“Oh, and speaking of those four nipples,” Louis dipped another finger in the bowl and drew X’s on all four said nipples, causing Harry to arch his back in anticipation of what was to come next.
Louis began with his little nubs first, tracing circles around them before flicking the delicate buds with his tongue and laving the remaining traces of mousse from the middle of his torso. He raised himself up on his hands to look down at Harry, looking debauched with just his shirt off and eyeing the two nipples with brown X’s still drawn across them, signifying that they are still untouched.
“Have I mentioned yet how good this tastes, Harry?” Louis asked innocently, even though that was far from his intention.
Harry shook his head back and forth, “No Lou, how does it taste?”
Louis swooped down again, sucking as much off his puffy nipple as he could and lapping up the remaining chocolate on his tongue. He surged back up and connected his lips to Harry's, exchanging the sweetness between their mouths with every roll of their tongue, both of them moaning unabashedly.
Louis pulled away and sat back up, swiping another finger through the dessert and adding more to Harry’s untouched left nipple. He lowered his head down slowly, pointing his tongue out and hanging a fraction of an inch above his nipple, waiting for eye contact from Harry.
He must have read his mind because Harry opened his eyes then and Louis started to gently flick his tongue back and forth on Harry’s nipple. Louis’ hooded eyes felt so heavy they must have looked closed. Harry threw his head back and whined Louis' name.
Showing Harry a modicum of mercy, Louis ravaged his nipple; nibbling, sucking, and lapping up the last traces of mint chocolate before getting up off the bed altogether.
“Louuuuu…..” Harry moaned, clearly not finished with this food-porn business.
“Shhh, m'just taking off your jeans, love, I’m not done with you,” Louis promised, causing Harry’s body to relax further into the bed and a smile to caress his lips before muttering “Pants too, please.”
Louis smirked and carefully removed all of Harry’s clothing. He shimmied Harry to the centre of the bed, placing the bowl of mousse beside Harry’s hip.
“Now, I’ve run out of ideas on what else I can put this chocolate on. I feel terrible about it, since it's something you worked so long and hard on,” Louis lamented, whilst wrapping his fingers around Harry’s leaking cock.
“That’s awful Louis, I appreciate a good pun as much as the next gu—” Harry went silent when Louis swiped his tongue across the head of his cock, licking up the pre-come that had been steadily leaking out from having his nipples sucked on for so long.
“Mmm… s’good, your cock. I just wonder how it’ll taste covered in chocolate mousse,” Louis wondered aloud as he plopped two finger widths full of chocolate on top of Harry’s tip and spread it down the shaft to the base with his thumb.
He stuck his fingers in his mouth and loudly sucked on each finger until he was satisfied it was clean. “I better hurry, someone’s getting quite messy,” he nodded down to Harry’s prick, covered in chocolate mousse and watched as it started to drip down to his balls from the rising temperature of his body, and the humid air between them.
“Please baby, please suck it off, the mint is tingly,” Harry whimpered.
Louis will not have Harry begging for anything, never will he ever have to do more than ask in order to receive.
Louis cupped his hands under each thigh at the knee and drove them up to Harry’s chest before he dove down onto his cock, taking the whole thing in his mouth in one fell swoop, and nearly gagging from the sheer size of it.
He’s never been one to shy away from a challenge, so after sucking back up to the tip, he swallowed the mix of spit, chocolate and pre-come so he wouldn’t gag again. He plunged back down to the hilt, his nose grazing the baby hairs at Harry's groin and felt the chocolate that lay trapped at the base of his cock melt around his lips and drip down his chin, which was nestled somewhere between the base of Harry’s cock and the heavy swell of his balls.
They both moaned at the same time, for completely different reasons. Harry was likely experiencing sensory overload while Louis was absolutely about to nut in his pants from having his face stuffed into places he only ever wanked about.
He pulled off Harry's cock and watched the remaining traces of saliva and chocolate run down his balls, travelling dangerously close to the place Louis had yet to discover. “Fuck baby, its dripped down onto your arse, can I? Please?” Louis now found himself begging.
“Ungh…..yeah, yeah,” Harry responded eagerly, grasping under his knees to hold his legs up for Louis, and watched as Louis dove back down to lap at his hole. He licked and sucked at the chocolate that trickled onto his puckered skin and every swipe of his tongue had Harry clenching onto nothing from the sensation. He pressed his thumb against Harry’s tight rim, trying to coax it into relaxing. He circled his thumb and watched as it began to soften.
“That’s it baby, nice and relaxed, yeah,” Louis said, licking at it tentatively. When it was still lax he pointed his tongue in an attempt to wiggle it inside. Harry was still too tight so Louis pressed his thumb gently on his rim and began pressing down and releasing, as he licked in between actions.
At this point Harry was writhing around, arching and thrusting as he just couldn’t stay still, and Louis couldn’t deny him any longer. He reached up to hold onto the backs of Harry’s knees and watched as Harry’s hand flew up to his nipple and the other was wrapped tightly around himself, jerking himself off weakly.
“Good boy Haz, it’s like you could read my mind, yeah? Get yourself off while I fuck you with my tongue,” Louis suggested and Harry began fisting over his cock as fast as his hand could fly up and down it. Louis had to mentally pinch himself to bring his focus back onto Harry. But first, he began tugging on his own cock to relieve some of the pressure built up from witnessing the utter madness that is, quite literally, spread out before him.
It was unclear at that point if Harry could even hear Louis anymore, as he appeared to be fully fucking gone in his own head. Just like he had played out many times in his own fantasies, Louis dove down to Harry’s hole and shoved as much tongue in as he could against the force of his tight rim. Slowly but surely Harry started to unravel. First by inhaling deeply then by clenching and tightening what felt like every muscle in his body as he came with a shout, forcing Louis’ tongue out of his arse and nearly slammed his legs closed around Louis’ head. Louis got out of the way just in time to watch it all unfold as he joined him in his climax, coming all over Harry’s hand and cock.
He did this to him. He singlehandedly made Harry Styles come so hard that he had tears in his eyes.
“That was NOT what I had in mind when I asked you over,” Harry giggled, still fucked out by what had just transpired in his bed.
“Maybe not, but it's what I’ve had in my mind for going on ten years now,” Louis admitted, still reeling over the last ten minutes.
Louis picked up the spoon he didn’t notice Harry had brought with him, and scooped out a generous helping of mint chocolate mousse before guiding it to Harry’s mouth.
“Mmm… me too,” Harry murmured in a dazed voice.
“What d’ya mean, ‘me too’. Don’t act like you’ve fancied me for ten years as well,” he mused, laughing out loud to himself.
“Well, not ten years, but at least seven. Since you started at Radio 1,” Harry confessed.
Louis smirked, “You little shit. You mean to tell me… this whole time?”
“Could you blame me?! Besides, you never even looked at me when I visited this afternoon. It made it clear to me you weren’t interested.”
“Like bloody hell I wasn’t. I couldn’t look at you because I was afraid how I felt about you would be written all over me stupid face!” Louis was astonished, he couldn't believe his ears.
He spooned more into Harry’s mouth before triple-dipping the spoon (why not at this point), turned it over and cradled the concave side against his tongue. ”Mmmm…..”, he managed to get out in response as he allowed the mousse to melt on his tongue.
”Go on a date with me? We can check out a chippie together sometime,” Harry asked, with a bloody great big smile on his face and mousse smushed through his teeth.
Louis laughed at Harry’s ridiculousness before responding, “Well, when you ask me like that, how could I ever say no?”
THE END
