Prologue
In the age of the 2000s here in Japanila, the Central Park playground was filled with laughter. A kid with a wooden sword is running around the place with all his might. At his high determination of running faster than any kids in the playground, he bumped into the group of the popular kids. He tripped and his wooden toy sword was separated from him.
"Hahahahaha, look at this lame sword~" "Yeah, Isn't that really lame?" "idolizing Samurais is so lame, now superheroes are so cool and better!" is what they said and they continue bickering at me. In this playground these three kids are the popular ones. Any kid would believe them because of their popularity. And as the continuous laughter echoes in this place. I wish these two hands of mine could make those sounds go away.
This is are the embarrassing years in my life. I, Asougi Kasuma currently in my grade school years. I do really love the ways of the Samurais! I saw it from my uncle watching it on his vhs player. The way that they're the man of their word is so brave! Also, the sword fights are really awesome. The clashing of swords, the fights of the clans, the samurai's journey is really admirable!
A little girl approached the popular kids on which superhero they like. The one with the red cap said his favorite is Metal Man, the conversation of those children continued.
"hey, hey..." a weak voice whispered to me. As I take a peek, I saw a boy which had short black hair and a pair of glasses. "Take my hand... while they still don't see us... "he whispered and reached his hand to me while hiding behind the silde. I took his hand while the other kids doesn't have our attention.
He was surprisingly eager escorting me out of the playground. His hands grabbed onto me so tight and his pace of walking is akin to running.
A thud was heard in the playground after a few seconds a loud cry caught the attention of the popular kids. This weak kid, who grabbed my hands as hard as he can so that we won't get separated, saw the kid who is crying, and started abruptly running away with me. Luckily, that kid was at the opposite direction of the playground. The popular kids laughed them off and the whole playground soon joined.
We turned left to right, to right to left. This kid seems to be more eager than I thought.
"Kazuma-dono! Father said that we should get home!" a soft yet, loud voice enough to be heard from a distance called me. It was Susato-chan. As the kid heard Susato's voice he let go of my hand and continued running to the direction we were heading.
"There he goes... " I muttered as he vanished from the streets. "Did you know that kid, Kazuma-dono?" Susato-chan said. "He helped me earlier escape from the playground, and I owe him one" I answered while gazing at the arm he held.
"Do you know his name by chance?" she questioned. Sadly not. I shook my head in disagreement. "Let's head back, Susato-chan! So that we can watch more movies later!" I said while running back home as fast as I can.
