The news cuts to a field reporter, after a moment of silence she introduces herself and the story.
"Good evening I'm Vicki Lane and I'm at Glenndale High School where an attempted murder investigation is digging up some scandals. I was able to speak with some of the students about what's going on."
The news station rapidly cuts between statements from the students.
"It was already pretty weird that a student was pretty much our guidance counselor, like there was a syphilis outbreak and a junior had to do transmission tracing."
"There were cameras inside the girls bathroom, that's definitely a crime right there. But also he [Burr] had this like vendetta against a student, so he, like I think it's called entrapment he like maybe not organised but allowed a sex crime to happen. That can't be okay."
"He took bribes to change grades. Welcome to the only pay to win high school, Glendale where academic integrity goes to die."
"One of our teachers legally changed her name because her checks were made out to this mean nickname some people were calling her."
"And I heard this rumour that Burr hooked up with her [ the victim]. He was her boss and he totally could have fixed her bank stuff. I'm not saying that definitely happened, just that he could have manipulated his employee and then slept with her."
"Our sex ed was not good. There was a kid who fully could not say consent. Let alone explain it. I don't think we ever went over the age of consent in class. There was just this student who acted like a councillor."
"He [Burr] didn't try to punish this one kid, he said he was waiting for [the student] to do something really bad. And then he put up cameras to watch kids have sex in the girls bathroom."
"I think a kid, like a ten year old not a student, sold drugs in the hallway for like two weeks at the start of this year. That was just weird."
"The Compton team got to the homecoming game early and Burr made them leave the campus. He said it was totally not a race thing like four times and that's like "the lady doth protest too-much, me thinks." You know?"
The camera returns to the news correspondent.
"At this time we can say that the victim is in stable condition and has agreed to testify against Mr Burr. Back to you at the studio."
