Chapter Text
"Everyone's Rebel Phase"
"Let me get this straight; you solved the 'Mister of Crime' case then faked your own death to have a romantic getaway with a nobleman who happened to also be the 'Lord of Crime', spent the past three years in the States taking care of her criminal boyfriend. And so you two got married secretly and decided to go back to London." Enola repeated the word-for-word summary of what she'd just heard from her older brother, with each end of a sentence she grew more disbelieving and sarcasm leaked into her voice.
"Exactly!" Sherlock exclaimed, his smile going from edge to edge along with a simple blush of happiness.
When Mycroft said Sherlock fell in love with a national criminal she questioned the elder Holmes' sanity, but now she questions Sherlock's sanity.
"And Mycroft says 'I' am in a rebellious phase." Enola muttered thinking that when it came to rebellion, Sherlock had created a new level. She ran away and burned down a boarding school or two - not to mention the times she cheated Mycroft, meaning the government itself - but Sherlock... He's something else when it comes to defying expectations.
