Chapter Text
Your eyes opened slowly as you took in your surroundings. A large thick blanket lays on top of you as the big plush white pillow blocked your view. You heard a voice, making you snarl. You lift yourself seeing your Lady at her vanity, a phone pressed in her ear. She was wearing her white dress and her known big hat.
Your annoyance died as you stared at her back from where you sat. Even from behind she was beautiful, heck she was always beautiful. The way the corner of her lips crinkled as she smiled, how it reminded you of a smile that a woman would give while singing blues. Then again, you remember her mentioning to you about the whole singing business. She refused to sing to you even when you asked and did everything she said.
Lady Dimitrescu’s head turned to the side once she felt your gaze which wasn’t long, you knew she could hear the moment you went to sleep or woke up. She let a smile break into her face. The smile wasn’t her big one where she showed teeth, just a tight-closed one that made her red lipstick pop.
Her attention seemed to shift as she turned away with a furrowed eyebrow. You signed as you heard “Mother Miranda” escape her lips. You understood why she had to talk to her, why she had to deal with her and everything, but no matter what she made Miranda her priority.
You could be dying at this exact moment, and if that phone rang during the ordeal she would choose the call over you. It was obvious to everyone what her priorities are.
She seemed stuck in a time period that was no longer present as if she refused to move forward unless Miranda told her to.
You snuggled into the bed more, making sure the pillow wasn’t in the way as you watch Lady Dimitrescu move with grace, tensing ever so slightly. It was so fast you only caught it the few times she did. She tried to prevent her voice from giving it away, but she was an open book once you realized her voice tells quite a lot about how she feels.
She was as well easily angered, especially when this Miranda called her. You weren’t even safe from her wraith as her… girlfriend? You are not sure about your relationship. Yeah, she would sleep with you at times, give you special treatment, kiss you, and you would eat with her and her daughters at times, but she always called you her pet at the end of the day. To everyone. You know she had previous “lovers” & treated them all special but why couldn’t she just focus on you.
“Did I wake you, pet?” Your lady says when she put the phone down. Her voice was like butter, it made your stomach feel fuzzy with every word that came out of her mouth. A smile was present on her face as she slaughtered over to you.
“No.” You replied as she leaned on her bed to look at you, her breast in clear view. You looked away from it burying your face into the cushion to hide your blush.
“Good.” She sighed. “I’m going to be going out for a meeting.” She stood up straight and you turned your head back towards her staring into golden eyes. “You can… wonder about in the castle for now.”
You nod. Lady Dimitrescu’s face softens, her eyes stuck to you with such a lovesick expression. She blinks rapidly looking away. She bends over holding your clothes in her hand. “Here.” She says slowly reaching out to you and putting the clothes beside you. “See you.”
She walked away, bending through the door. You still don’t understand why she doesn’t fix the door to her height. Maybe nobody knew how to, or she preferred it that way. She never told you a lot about herself anyways.
You roamed the halls gazing upon pictures as you passed and expensive antiques from who knows how long ago. The quiet roaming was interrupted by the sound of buzzing behind you.
You turned around to see the oldest, Bela transform in front of you. You smiled at her, out of all the others she was your favorite. You loved the others, but she was the most like Lady Dimitrescu. She was also the first to warm up to you, to befriend you but right after Daniela ran up to you and called you her best friend after seeing Bela warm up to you. Cassandra eventually did as well, much to her reluctance.
Bela was a role model to the girls, they looked up to her and you knew that. You also knew she has a harder life with her being looked up to so much, that her mother expected only the best of her. She had the most control out of the sisters, Daniela having the least.
“Finally, I found you.” She said. You raised an eyebrow at her. Whenever she found you or searched for you she would constantly show you something she was proud of or just talk to you. “Can I request a moment with you?”
You chuckled but stopped as soon as you did. “Lady Bela, you don’t have to request anything from me.” You grinned. “You could just force me to go anywhere or talk to you.”
“I know that,” Bela said taken aback. “Look, I just want to ask you something okay?”
You nod, you were curious about where this is going. “Go ahead, Lady Bela.”
Bela pursed her lips, she looked human. “When we’re alone stop calling me ‘Lady Bela’.”
“But Lady-”
“No! Just… Bela.” She looked to the side rubbing her arm. “You say Daniela’s name without using Lady before it, so I expect the same.” She crossed her arms looking at you.
“If you wish La- Bella.” You replied.
Her eyes widened for a slight second. “Just so you know I still haven’t asked you that something.”
“Ask away then.” You look up at her.
“I was wondering if you would like to join me in one of my hunts.” She said.
You open your mouth then closed it. None of the girls have ever asked you to join the hunt before. Maybe they are finally warming up to you!
“I don’t think I would be of help.” You say biting the inside of your cheek. You weren’t strong like them, fast, nor have you ever hunted a human.
“Then I’ll hunt! You follow me, then I show you how to gut and skin an animal.” Bela says hurriedly, eyes glancing everywhere at your face, trying to read your reaction.
Usually, when one of the sisters went on a hunt they always brought a human back. No animal, or anything else for that matter. You also did want to spend more time getting to know the girls.
“Sure.” You smiled. “I’ll just get a jacket before I go with you okay?”
Bella’s eyes lit up but it quickly went away. She nods slowly looking around. “Meet me at the front doors when you’re ready.” She says before going back into bug form and leaving.
You sighed deeply turning around. Bela was acting strange, more sporadic than usual. You headed to your room, a gift for being Dimitrescu’s pet. You had your own bed, you preferred it as being with your lady constantly seemed like hell but heaven. Hell when she was mad, heaven when she was looking at you as if she is in love with you.
You reached your room and entered. The room wasn’t spectacular, it had a painting of lady Dimitrescu, a fire on the side, a closet, and other bedroom assortments. You headed to the closer grabbing the cotton jacket you were gifted. You put it on fixing the uncomfortableness then left your room.
“Oh, hi y/n!” You look towards the sound seeing Daniela with a maid behind her, stuck to her sickle on the floor. You had no idea if she was dead or not but you felt bad for whoever is going to clean the blood trail and Daniela’s room.
“Hey.” You replied taking notice of the new coat of blood that painted her face. “Need something?”
Daniela shook her head. “But uh, why are you wearing a coat?”
“Bela invited me to hunt with her.” You say, your eyes fall to the maid who started moving.
Daniela raised an eyebrow. “Why? That’s quite stupid of her! Mother will be mad.”
You shrug. “She’s teaching me how to skin an animal.”
Daniela looked to the side in thought. The maid held herself up staring at the sickle and then you. Your breath hitched, no matter how many times you’ve stared into pleading eyes you never got used to the gut-wrenching feeling. You were as useless as them in the situation.
“Have fun!” Daniela said grinning widely and continuing to walk with the conscious maid. You looked away from the scene and stepped over the blood.
You and Bela sat outside. It wasn’t as cold, or cold enough to kill Bela as it usually was. It was a nice breeze that helped from overheating from the sun. The jacket was more for a backup for Bela anyways, so that she wouldn’t die from an accidental freezing breeze.
“Stay by me, I would not want you to be killed by a lycan,” Bela said looking behind her at you.
“Reasonable, your mom would be mad at you as well.” You say walking up to her till you stood beside her.
“Yeah…” Her voice was distant as she stared ahead. You waited for her to make the next move and when she did you followed behind her into the dense forest that surrounded the area.
You missed the outdoors, you never were allowed to go outside without one of the sisters. Usually, you would walk through the garden with them since the maze constantly changed. You got lost in it every time you were alone. When you did get lost Lady Dimitrescu would often be the one to find you, always seemed to notice you were absent from her side. Every time it made your heart all fuzzy just as it did even thinking about the encounters.
You were utterly in love with her even though she’s a murderer you didn’t see that in her. She was just a powerful gorgeous breathtaking woman for all you cared. She was no monster that the maids would whisper about nor of the daughters. Unlike the maids, you understood they are extremely misunderstood, they’re just doing what they can to survive.
Bela put a hand in front of you and you bumped into her arm. You looked at her with a questionable look. She left your side in a flash and you were left there standing alone. You look around and turn around scratching the back of your head.
“Uhh… Bela?” You say looking everywhere but stayed in your spot. You frown trying to catch some glance of her but failed.
Silence. The leaves on the trees rustled in the wind as it blew in your direction. Now that you think about the situation, you could most likely make a run from this life. Escape it all, help the other maids and stop everything. But Lady Dimitrescu, she would most likely be killed and the girls. They wouldn’t try to help them turn back into a human, they wouldn’t listen to their explanation even though the Dimitrescu could kill a whole army which they would do if help showed up.
You heard a twig break and turned around looking around. You heard nothing; no dragging, no breathing, no animal noises. The forest seemed dead like nothing exists but you. You felt the hair on your body prickle as your eyes darted around. Your heart was pounding in your chest as you whipped around from the sound of movement seeing emptiness still.
“Bela, this isn’t funny.” You nervously chuckled. You hoped she wasn’t playing some game with you in the outdoors, acting as if you were prey. Maybe she brought you out here to kill you, but Bela was the most obedient to her mother so her doing this would make no sense. She respected her and constantly wanted her approval.
You heard another twig snap and instantly ran as fast as you could. You didn’t dare look back but you could hear someone behind you, their heavy breathing a foot away from you.
You look back seeing a large gray figure running behind and pushed your body more to create some distance. The distance only lasted shortly as you felt your jacket be grabbed and you went with it.
You fell hard on the ground and the drooling hairy figure hunched over you, ax in his hand. He raised it and you struggled out of your jacket, turning to the side out the direct path from the ax You stared at the ax then at the Lycan feelings a sting on your cheek. You got up running as it yelled from behind.
You made a great distance as your chest burned. You wanted to relax so badly, being cooped in the castle for so long made you so unfit for running.
Your foot hooked on a tree trunk from the ground and you fell, tumbling when bracing yourself. You quickly turned around once you landed on the floor, seeing the Lycan rush at you. It jumped in the air, ax ready to penetrate your body.
You put your hands up to block yourself closing your eyes tightly. You hear a loud ruckus and open your eyes to look around. Your eyes landed on a black figure on top of the Lycan, they seemed as if they were fighting each other till you heard a loud crack.
The cloaked figure stood up, turning to you. It was Bela, her eyes widened as her jaw was clenched. She marched towards you and grabbed you by your shirt lifting you off the ground to her face.
“I told you not to move.” She said, blood dripping down her chin.
“I was going to die, that lycan was trying to kill me!” You say.
Bela’s lip twitched then her eyes landed on a cut on your face and her face softened. She sighed letting you go and wiped her thumb over the cut. You grimaced from the pain when she touched it.
Bela put her finger in her mouth. “I found an animal, I’ll bring it back.” Bella turned into flies before transforming only her head to look at you. “Stay there.”
You stuck your tongue out at her but stayed in your spot. Your attention stayed on the Lycan dead on the floor. It sure was hairy and looked like a werewolf in half transformation.
Your eyes turn as you see Bela with a dead mountain goat wrapped around her shoulder walking towards you. There was a large chunk gone from the goat’sneck revealing their esophagus.
Bela dropped it in between you and got onto her knees. She looked up at you, waiting for you to do so as well.
You slowly did, but she grabbed you by the arm tugging you over to her side and forced you beside her.
“Step 1, have a sharp knife, Bela said pulling a Bowie knife from her cloak and holding the non-sharp side to you. You look at the knife then at her. She is willingly giving you a weapon, something you could use to escape even though if you tried you wouldn’t get very far. She knew that.
You sat at the dinner table quietly as you sat across from Bela and Lady Dimitrescu was on your left drinking her special wine. You were the only one eating cooked meat as the sisters ate raw human flesh, they only did it for fun.
Alcina set her drink on the table staring into it. “Y/N, where did you get that cut from?” She said.
You froze, even the sisters froze in their position looking at you. “I have no clue, it just appeared like some of my small injuries have before.” You hoped it was a good response.
Alcina sucked her teeth and grabbed you by your face forcing you to stare at her shadowed face. Her eyes were piercing, and so bright. If you weren’t scared of being caught in a lie, you would be focused on how hot she was when mad.
“Tell me the truth, pet. You know I hate lies.” She glared at you.
You glance to the side for help, at Bela which was your first mistake as she suddenly let you go turning to her. She took a deep breath, “Bela, what happened?”
“I just wanted to teach her how to skin and gut an animal, mother. I… I had not intended for them to get hurt, one of Heisenberg’s creations was on your land again.” Bela looked down.
“And you didn’t think that you could have taught them in this very castle, where they belong? Where they can’t have a chance to run?” Dimitrescu said pursing her lips.
“I suggest it!” Daniela said abruptly, “I thought that it would be better if she learned outside, to have a change of scenery.”
“And I was the one who gave the idea to Daniela, my mistake mother,” Cassandra added.
Your lady stared at them with gritted teeth. “Go to your rooms now, and no desert or killings after. Got it.” They all nod leaving the dining room. “Maids, you can all leave as well.”
They all scurried off, glad that they were free. Your lady stood up from her seat after a few quiet minutes standing behind you, her hands on your shoulders. Her grasp is tight, firm.
“Now,” She leaned close, you could feel her chest on your back and the heat of her breath on your ear. It made your heart race, “you know how I hate liars.” She said disappointingly. “Especially when my pet should know better.”
You winched as her grip started hurting you. “I’m sorry, Mistress.”
“Are you?” You could hear a smile in her voice.
Your head raced, and your throat felt dry. “Yes, Mistress.”
“Get on the table.” She said backing away from you.
Her voice did things to you, made you feel things that nobody could ever make you feel. You pushed your chair back and climbed onto the table laying on your back.
Lady Dimitrescu bit her lip. “Marvelous,” she said and made her claws appear, dragging them down your outfit to cut it clean.
Your breath hitched as you felt her claw scrap your skin lightly. She moved your clothing off to the side staring at your chest after retracting her claw. “I want you to know,” She put her large hand on your chest, massaging your chest lightly, “only I’m allowed to mark your skin.” She leaned into your neck sucking and licking, her mouth covering your neck completely.
You sighed into her touch. Your eyes shut in bliss. She pulled back, a trail of salvia and her lipstick looked just perfect, not a smear in sight. Lady Dimitrescu was the definition of perfect, so beautiful.
“Only I’m allowed to touch you.” Her grip on your chest tightened. Her head moved down your body. “Only I’m allowed to taste you.” She spread your legs, moving her head between your legs.
Her tongue dragged along your folds and you squirmed. She grabbed you harshly by your thighs, “Don’t you dare move.”
You nod letting out a deep breath as she continued again. She sucked your clit and you bit your lip trying not to move into her mouth. It was so tempting, to just try and get as close to her warm breath and skillful tongue. Her tongue which was nice and large knew exactly how to hit your spots and whenever she put it inside you it filled you.
Her fingers though, long and thick we’re far incredible. You could only take 2 & that was all, her hands were fairly humongous in a good way of course.
You felt her tongue enter you and you bucked into her which caused her to move away from you. She licked her lips, “I told you not to move.”
“I’m sorry.” You gasp.
“No, I told you clear instructions and you disobeyed them.” She stood tall, looking down at you. Your heart sank as her eyes bore into you, you didn’t even care about finishing. You hated when she looked at you like that like you disgusted her. “We’re finished here.”
She turned around leaving. “Wait! Please!” You say getting off the table. Midway you are forced back on by a strong hand, you can hear the leather of the glove tighten.
“Listen here pet, I can do whatever I please with you.” She leaned in close with a snarl. “I could even kill you and wouldn’t feel a damn thing for you. You are a pet,” You grasp her hand as you struggled to breathe, “and only that.” She took her hand off of your throat.
You coughed sucking in the air. “Why won’t you treat me like an equal… Like your lover?” You murmured.
“Did you not hear what I just said, you are a pet and that is all you will ever be.” She clenched her jaw. “Since you can’t follow simple directions I’m demoting you back to a maid.” She adjusted her glove. “Such a foolish human, thinking I could ever love them.” She glanced at you. “How pathetic.” She left the dining room leaving you on the table staring at nothing.
