Chapter 1: chica’s house

Chapter Text

“Hey- put me down, Papa!” Gregory exclaimed as Bonnie lifted him up on his shoulders.

“No can do!”

Gregory groaned in embarrassment. He was already 10 years old! He didn’t need to be picked up like a baby. He hid his face on Bonnie’s head as they walked to the entrance of Chica’s house. It was pretty big, mostly because Monty and Roxy had decided to live there, and they need a lot of space for their “useful” junk.

“Gregory, you packed all your supplies, right?” Freddy asked.

“Um.. I think so!”

“Are you sure?”

Bonnie playfully kicked Freddy as they reached the door. “He’ll be fine, won’t you, superstar?”

Gregory nodded his head and squirmed out of Bonnie’s grip. He let Gregory on the ground while Freddy rung the doorbell. They could all hear rustling coming from inside the house until Chica swung the door open. Her white hair was sweaty and was stuck on her forehead, most likely from trying to get Roxy and Monty to calm down from their constant bickering.

“Hey guys! Come in. Sorry for the slight mess, by the way.”

Slight was an understatement.

As they stepped inside, they could see chip bags, instruments, and clothes stranded all over the floor.

“Gregory, are you sure you have everything? You tend to forget things often..” Freddy murmured the last part.

“Yes, Dad. I’m sure. I checked this time!”

Freddy still looked hesitant, but Bonnie patted his back reassuringly and he seemed to feel better after that.

“Okay, goodbye Chica! We’re going to go now.” Freddy called out and Chica nodded at him. He kissed the top of Gregory’s head and Bonnie ruffled Gregory’s hair after that. Once they left, Monty and Roxy came out of a room, bickering like usual. They immediately stopped once they noticed Chica talking to Gregory.

“Gregory, my little man!” Monty called out, rushing towards him.

Gregory immediately gave him a fist bump, which was their first gesture every time they saw each other.

Roxy also came up towards him and she gave him a high five.

Roxy and Monty are actually surprisingly good with kids. Well, sort of. It’s enough to make Gregory happy.

“Gregory, you can watch a movie with Roxy and Monty while I prepare lunch. I imagine that you’re pretty hungry right now.”

Gregory nodded and ran to the living room to turn on the TV.

“What movie do you wanna watch?” Roxy asked, scrolling through the list of movies on the screen.

“Um… oh, that one! The Lion King!”

“Alright.”
