Work Text:

The first thing Eijirou remembers is Katsuki.

His big brother staring down at him, letting him hold onto his fingers and hair, the warmth of his arms around him, holding him, when he was happy or when he cried, Eijirou remembers Katsuki the most.

Eijirou grew up clingy, but his big brother never seemed to mind too much. He was three years older, a full person before Eijirou even knew how to speak or walk, and yet he never said a word when Eijirou tagged along wherever he went. It made Eijirou love his brother all the more, because he knew how much he didn’t like people.

Katsuki was steadfast and stubborn. He grew angry if he didn’t get his way or other children opposed his ideas. His friends were more like followers at times, but it seemed like Katsuki liked that more, and kept everyone at an arm's length growing up, even their parents at times, except for Eijirou.

Eijirou who he cuddled and loved and carried on his back whenever they went out to the store. Eijirou who Katsuki played with without a word of argument, who always made a place for the toddler whenever he made a fort in the house or stole an extra cookie from the counter for him when Eijirou couldn’t reach. He cared for him, comforted when he cried, helped him to walks and speak and even made sure he knew the ins and outs of school when he was finally old enough to go.

Eijirou loved Katsuki, and Katsuki loved him back.

It seemed innocent. Was innocent. Was, until it wasn’t.

Until Eijirou started losing his baby teeth only to have sharp canines sprout up in their place. Nothing much to worry about beyond his complaining to his parents that they ache, that he keeps biting his tongue or lip, that he tastes too much copper as he tried to navigate his mouth now that it is filled with razor edges.

His parents though are happy as they soothe him as best they can with each new addition that pokes through his gums, as the teeth are a sure sign that their youngest will be an Alpha– a strong addition to their family name and to society.

But, Eijirou is still young, only seven now, and he can only think about how much his teeth hurt.

“Don’t be a baby,” Katsuki says to him one hot summer day as they sit out on the patio trying to cool off, slices of watermelon between them. Katsuki was kind enough to put a few pieces in the freezer for Eijirou, letting the poor boy ease his aching gums on the icy treat as he sucks and crunches away. “You’re gonna be eight soon, eight year olds can't be sad about their teeth!”

Eijirou knows this and tries not to whine too much, but sometimes the pain is just too much and he can’t help it. He sniffs a little as he snaps off a piece of the frozen watermelon into his mouth. “Yeah but– they still hurt. I just want ‘em to stop. Can’t I have normal teeth like you?”

“No, dummy. You’re gonna be an Alpha and Alphas need teeth to claim people.”

Eijirou blinks up at his brother. “Claim people?”

Katsuki snorts. “Yeah, you’ll learn more when you grow up. They teach you things in school about it all, but Alphas are all big and strong with sharp teeth so they can claim someone as their mate and love and protect them forever.”

“Oh! Like mom and momma?”

“Duh!” Katsuki spits a watermelon seed from his mouth, shooting it across the lawn so far Eijirou watches it in awe as he disappears into the grass. “You ever see that scar on momma’s neck? It’s her claiming bite! Mom put it there to show how much she loves her and stuff.”

“Oh…” Eijirou says again, digesting the information that he still doesn’t quite understand, but it must be true and important coming from his big brother. He chews slowly on the watermelon in his mouth, staring at their backyard. “So…what are you gonna be? An Alpha too?”

Katsuki shrugs, throwing the rind out into the grass before picking up another piece. “Don’t know yet. Most people don’t present until they’re about twelve or thirteen. You’re just special with those teeth of yours, so stop saying they hurt, got it? You’ve gotta be tough to be a good Alpha.”

“A good Alpha…”

Eijirou takes it all in, listens, and knows he wants to be good. Wants to be the best, just like his brother expects of him.

He doesn’t cry about his teeth after that.

It’s just before Katsuki’s twelfth birthday when he presents.

It’s the middle of the day when his school calls their momma and he’s picked up early. Eijirou is told his brother went home sick and immediately wants to go home with him, to comfort him and help, but he’s pressed back into his seat and told their Dam had picked him up and Katsuki would be okay. It eases his mind in the moment, but as soon as the bell rings and they’re released, Eijirou runs home in hopes of finding his big brother safe and sound.

His momma is immediately at the door to hold him, to tell him Nii-san is going to be okay, but he needs to be alone, needs to rest, and all those words together don’t make much sense to Eijirou, because he’s never had to stay away from brother before, not unless he was sick.

He wants to help him. There’s a churning ache in his belly that he doesn’t understand, but feels like he should listen to it as it draws him close to Katsuki’s bedroom door, calls out to him to turn the lock and push inside to comfort his brother as much as he can, just like Katsuki always did for him when they were younger.

Except, every time he goes close, his momma is there to scoop him up and kiss his head, tell him no, tell him to go play outside as the fresh air would help– though Eijirou wonders how much fresh air is needed with all of the windows in the house open to let in the cool spring air.

Katsuki doesn’t come out of his room the next day. Their momma is the only one allowed inside, bringing him plenty of food and water, with the door quickly closing behind her as he went in and out.

Their mom paces a lot. She seems agitated whenever she’s home, no matter the time of day, and is only calmed by her mate’s cool hand against her cheek, easing her into a chair for a few minutes of rest before she’s up again.

On the third day, Eijirou really starts to worry.

When it’s late, the moon’s light hidden behind the clouds and their house quiet and dark, Eijirou sneaks out of his bedroom to creep down the hall and knows better then to open Katsuki’s door, but can’t help himself as he presses his ear against the thin wood.

It’s the first time Eijirou can ever remember his brother sounding like that.

Crying. Sobbing. Moving too much with a wetness that Eijirou can’t identify or understand.

He can feel tears prickling at the corners of his eyes knowing his big brother was like that, hurt and in pain, as that would surely be the only reason for him to ever sound like that, and the ache in his stomach, chest, teeth, all of it comes together and makes him yearn.

He grips the front of his pajamas, fisting the fabric tightly in his hand, but knows if he opens the door he’ll get in trouble. His parents will yell and ground him for sure. He just wants to help Katsuki get better. He doesn’t want his brother to hurt.

Eijirou stares at the door for a little bit longer, listening to the aching cries of his big brother, before finally turning on his heels and running back to his own bedroom to shove his head under his pillow and cry quietly into his bed, not knowing what else to do.

On day five, finally, when Eijirou comes home from school, he finds his big brother laying on the couch watching tv, cheeks rosy, but otherwise alive and well. He only just manages to get his shoes off before he’s racing across to slam himself into his brother’s chest, unable to help it as he openly sobs and clutches at him, letting out all his frustrations in not being able to see or comfort his brother for almost a week.

Katsuki grumbles a bit, but pulls until Eijirou is more comfortably on the couch with him, laying on his chest, and lets the boy weep while his hands rub up and down Eijirou’s back.

“Don’t be such a baby,” Katsuki huffs as soon as the sobbing turns into sniffling. “I’m fine.”

“They wouldn’t let me see you,” Eijirou wipes his nose on his sleeve. “Momma and mom looked so worried. I thought something terrible happened.”

“Baby,” Katsuki repeats, but helps wipe at Eijirou’s face anyway. “I just presented is all. Had a heat and all that crap.”

“A heat?”

Katsuki brushes Eijirou’s hair from his face, pinching one of his cheeks. “Yeah, a heat. I’m an Omega.”

Eijirou just blinked at him. Omega. The word barely meant anything beyond knowing their momma was one and now, apparently, Katsuki.

Omega.

He didn’t care about the word, so long as his brother was okay. He cuddled up under Katsuki’s chin, holding him close, and felt his nose twitch with a sudden smell of heavy spice that filled it, almost making him sneeze. It smelled like the spicy holiday drinks their parents said weren’t for them, warm and fruity. Eijirou liked it, shifting a little bit closer and inhaling deeper, he liked it a lot.

Eijirou has always liked being close to his brother, he always has, but now that Katsuki has presented, it’s…more so.

It’s hard being away from him all day when they’re in school. He fidgets in his seats and finds it hard to concentrate knowing Katsuki is somewhere without him. When they’re home, Eijirou is practically glued to his side. He becomes Katsuki’s shadow, always on his heels, always just a step behind.

Katsuki doesn’t mind it, just like he always hasn’t, though there might be a little more coddling involved, more than what should probably be necessary for a nine year old.

They cuddle on the couch to watch tv, tucked in close with a single blanket around them both while superheroes and villains jump around on the screen with bright, flashing colors. Katsuki will cook for Eijirou even when their parents are home, making foods that he knows his baby brother likes most.

At night, one or the other will pad across the hall to the other’s bedroom. They’ll curl around each other and be found like that in the morning by either of their parents, tucked close and sleeping peacefully wrapped around one another.

It’s not a problem, they think. It’s better for them to get along like this then to be constantly fighting. It’s just Katsuki getting used to his new instincts and Eijirou being the family’s baby.

Nothing wrong. Not yet.

“My teeth hurt,” Eijirou says, standing at the entrance to Katsuki’s bedroom one night, rubbing the sleep from one eye as he fights back a yawn.

He hasn’t complained about his teeth in ages, quietly knowing he must suffer in silence to be a good Alpha, but this time it feels different. There’s only another three or so to lose before his whole mouth is filled with his sharp, adult, Alpha teeth. One of them is already lose and should be gone within the month if he lets it go naturally or doesn’t roughhouse too much during recess, but right now the issue isn’t one tooth. It’s all of them.

“What?” Katsuki slurs from his bed, sitting up just enough to see his baby brother walking over to him from the doorway, standing at the side of his bed now. “What’s wrong?”

He barely ever goes to their parents with issues at night anymore. If Eijirou has nightmares, trouble going to sleep, or anything else, he always comes to Katsuki now. Only ever Katsuki.

“My teeth,” he whines. “They’re itchy.”

The boy doesn’t wait to be invited in, just crawls up onto the bed to take the empty spot beside Katsuki, knowing it was meant for him anyway.

“So?” Katsuki asks in return. “What’d want me to do about it?”

“Don’ know,” he says. “Make it better.”

Eijirou finds his usual spot tucked under Katsuki’s arm, snuggling in until he’s almost a second skin and only then does he find comfort. Katsuki has always been so warm, and it’s only made worse whenever he’s under a blanket. Eijirou smiles as that feeling envelopes him, pressing in just a little bit closer, nose shoved right against Katsuki’s ribs, under his arm, and suddenly he’s hit with the smell of spiced fruits again, sweet and bitter and heated all at the same time.

His mouth waters. The itching gets worse. He doesn’t know why, but it feels like all his teeth are aching. His mouth is empty and that’s not right. All he wants to do it–

“Ow!”

Katsuki flinches away from him, shoving Eijirou back as he sits up quickly, suddenly awake, and pulls up his shirt to find worried red marks on his side, little pin pricks that didn’t quite break the skin with the barrier of clothing in the way.

“Sorry!” Eijirou nearly shouts immediately after when he realizes what happened, when looking at his brother he knows what he had done– he’d bit him. “I-I didn’t mean to! I don’t know why, I just– I’m sorry!” he can feel the panic start to well up in his chest, the constricting as his throat starts to close. “I didn’t, didn’t want to hurt Nii-san. I just– I don’t–” Tears welled up in his eyes.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Katsuki is there immediately to ease his pain even when he himself was the one in it. Still, he scoops Eijirou into his arms and rocks him gently as the boy again shoves his face in close, arms wrapped around him, and lets out a shaky little sob. “Don’t do that. I…I know you didn’t mean to hurt me. I think you’re just…growing up a little too fast.”

Eijirou pulls away to look up at his brother, blinking away the tears that haven’t yet fallen. “What’s that mean?”

Katsuki sighs. “It means you want to be an Alpha too soon. You want…to bite. And claim things.”

Eijirou stays silent, big red eyes staring up at Katsuki in the dark, the same color eyes their mom has, the same ones Katsuki does.

Katsuki worries it around in his head for a long, long time, holding his brother in the dark, feeling the slight throb at his side.

“Tell you what,” he says, finally, in a way that has Eijirou staring, holding on to every single one of his brother’s words. “You can bite me, I think, alright? It’ll help with your teeth. But you’ve gotta promise it can only be where my clothes can hide it, alright? Think of it like…like practice.”

“Really?”

“Yeah,” Katsuki squeezes him, nuzzling his nose into Eijirou’s hair until he’s wiggling and laughing. “Just don’t tell anyone, okay? Not even our parents.”

Eijirou smiles up at him, all sense of panic from moments before gone. “Okay, I’ll keep it a secret!”

The first real bite Katsuki allows is on his stomach. Eijirou is hesitant, but Katsuki reassures him until he feels those sharp teeth sink into his skin and bites back the hiss that comes with it.

It bleeds a little bit and Eijirou feels bad afterwards, but his teeth don’t itch and when he watches his big brother dabbing at the little wounds, cleaning up blood and putting cream on it, he can’t help but feel the swell of pride that blooms in his chest.

They do it a lot more after that.

It’s mostly at night, mostly when it’s just them, all alone in the dark and Katsuki pulls off his shirt and Eijirou has to look at his body, look at all the pale unblemished patches of skin mixed now with circularly bite marks and bruises, trying to choose the next place to plants his teeth. His mark.

Eijirou finds one of his favorite places is Katsuki’s back.

When his big brother rolls over for him and Eijirou can climb up a little bit, sink his teeth in Katsuki’s shoulder blade and hold on as his brother shakes and cries out into his pillow, muffling the noise less their parents hear them.

His cries stopped sounding painful a long time ago.

Eijirou likes when he makes noise.

“E-Eijirou!” Katsuki chokes, feeling like his tongue is too thick in his mouth to speak anymore.

Eijirou is almost eleven.

Katsuki only just turned fourteen a month ago.

They shouldn’t be doing this anymore. Eijirou will present soon. They can’t keep it up. Can’t keep hiding it.

But Eijirou always comes to his room and asks. Katsuki has never said no.

“F-fuck–”

He has to bite his tongue, back arching as teeth sink into the meat of his thigh, the pain bursting behind his eyes while his stomach grows warm and heavy.

Eijirou removes his teeth smoothly, careful to not take a chunk out of him, careful to only leave his puncture marks. His tongue falls to the wound, licking up the blood oozing from the broken skin. He hums against his brother’s thigh, looking up from where he lay on his belly between Katsuki’s legs.

“Hmmm?”

Katsuki is panting. He looks down at his little brother, carding a hand through his dark hair to pet him. Eijirou leans into it, but doesn’t let his tongue travel far enough away to not be tasting Katsuki.

“One more,” Katsuki says, laying back to catch his breath. “Just one more for tonight, baby.”

By now, his body is littered in bites and bruises. There are times when they can’t find a patch of fresh skin on Katsuki’s torso or thighs and they have to overlap or wait until more of them heel. Katsuki takes care of them, making sure none of them scar too badly, but it’s a hard thing to keep all the little marks from smoothing over into perfect little silver scars that fade over time. Some of them, the ones where Eijirou couldn’t help himself, those are raised marks permanently seared into his flesh.

Eijirou nods, obeying as always, a good boy when his brother is involved, and looks at Katsuki’s thigh, mostly bare for now, eyes searching for a good place to leave the last one for the night.

He maneuvers Katsuki’s body gently, trying to not be too forceful as he rolled Katsuki’s leg so it falls open more, thinking it would be a good place to put his last, on his inner thigh, the skin there still so unmarked and smooth, creamy pale and–

“Oh,” Eijirou sits up a little bit, peering over from thigh to where his brother’s sleeping shorts have ridden up. They’re red, a bright color, and right at the center of them sits a dark patch. He’s learned some about presentations, genders, and all the rest in his health class, but there are still areas he’s ignorant about. “Nii-san, did you…did you wet yourself?”

Before he can reach out with his hand to investigate, Katsuki’s eyes snap open and his legs close tightly, trapping Eijirou awkwardly and squeezing him too tight until he’s whimpering and Katsuki is releasing him, but only so he can pull him away from between his legs.

“That’s not for you, Eijirou!” Katsuki scolds, and Eijirou looks at him confused, because that doesn’t make sense.

Everything of Katsuki’s belongs to him.

“But–”

“No, baby, no buts,” Katsuki cuts him off, hushing him quietly and he shimmies around and readjusts, making sure his shorts are down around his thighs and not clinging to his body. “You’re not old enough for stuff like that yet.”

Eijirou pouts, but doesn’t argue. His brother is older, after all, he must know best, but still he feels cheated out of something and he didn’t get his last bite in so…

“Nii-san,” Eijirou says. “Can I kiss you?”

Katsuki silently looks at him for a moment. They’ve kissed plenty. Forehead kisses and raspberries and teasing brotherly licks or just to say goodnights when they were very little.

But Eijirou didn’t want any of those, and Katsuki knew it.

Still.

“Alright, one kiss.”

Eijirou beams and moves up the bed, facing his big brother, looking down at him with his soft blond hair and his sharp red eyes and the way he always seemed to glow when given only the smallest amount of light to shine on him.

He leans down and plants his lips on Katsuki’s softly, awkward, until Katsuki wraps his arms around his neck and pulls him in a little closer, deeper, until their chests are pressed together and all Eijirou can see is his brother, can taste, and smell and–

It ends too quickly.

Katsuki pulls away before Eijirou can have his fill and all Eijirou wants to do is chase after him, but he knows that won’t work and he doesn’t want to be scolded again.

He lets him get away.

“Go back to your room,” Katsuki says, fishing out the first aid kit from under his bed to clean up the bite at his thigh. “Go to sleep.”

Reluctantly, Eijirou does.

When Eijirou presents, two weeks later Katsuki is sent away.

He’s stuck in his bedroom suffering through his first rut, much like Katsuki did with his first heat, and doesn’t realize what happens until it’s too late.

Their mom walked in on Katsuki changing. Katsuki couldn’t defend the various teeth marks in multiple stages of healing that littered his body.

Shivering and feverish, Eijirou still scratched at his bedroom door when he heard the shouting, though his head was too foggy to recognize any of the words being said.

He tears up his mattress in frustration. He fucks his pillow with his newly matured cock when anger doesn’t help.

He thinks of his brother until he comes.

When he comes out, his momma breaks the news as gently as she can, but Eijirou can’t process Katsuki not being with him and freaks.

It’s a mess.

His parents try to explain that they can’t be together as much. That sharing the same roof as an Alpha and Omega so close could be dangerous. They don’t mention to Eijirou about the bite marks, they don’t talk to him, but they don’t have to. It’s all clear in their eyes and their actions, even if their words don’t match up with them. That they’re just looking out for both of their well being and Katsuki is only going to a boarding school– he’ll be home for the holidays.

(He isn’t.)

They’re scared. They’re worried. They don’t know what Eijirou has done or how far he’s gone or what Katsuki has allowed him to do. They don’t know what Katsuki has made him do or what he has coerced his little brother into thinking.

They’re wrong.

Eijirou breaks things and doesn’t understand.

He’s done nothing to hurt Katsuki and Katsuki has done nothing to hurt him.

They simply love each other, right?

He barely even got to say goodbye, trying to not cry as Katsuki holds him close one more time, squeezing him against his chest and it’s there that Eijirou smells him fully for the first time with his nose now attune to the world of scents.

Katsuki’s overwhelming. He doesn’t think he’s ever smelled anything or anyone so good before. He wants to never let him go, hold him forever, lay beside him and keep him close and never let anyone else in the entire world touch him.

He’s gone before Eijirou can say any of this, with one last kiss to the top of his head and a softly spoken ‘be good, Alpha’ which Katsuki had never called him that before.

It makes his heart swell and ache all at the same time.

One night his momma pulls him in close, holding him to her chest even though he’s too big for that now, in a mockery fashion that Eijirou only thinks of how Katsuki used to hold him. He doesn’t like it with her.

“Baby,” she says and the word sounds so wrong coming from her. “You can love your brother, but not like that. That’s not something brothers are supposed to do.”

Eijirou sees red.

It doesn’t matter. That’s what Katsuki and he do and it’s right. Good.

He says nothing.

Eijirou sulks. He gets into fights at school. Eventually, he goes to therapy which does nothing except make him tuck everything away further. He can’t explain to anyone what Katsuki and he have– they don’t understand. He loves him. Loves him the most. He’s supposed to be a good Alpha and he can’t do that with Katsuki gone off so, so far away.

Eventually, things calm down.

With Katsuki gone, his scent slowly seeps out of the walls and rooms. It leaves Eijirou feeling hollow every time he enters their home, knowing this place is now missing something important, the most important part, and he fears he’ll never get it back.

His parents think he’s getting better, but really Eijirou gets better at hiding it. The lost of his brother makes him ache every single night when he lays in bed and thinks about how he can’t sleep. He wants to get up on instinct and go find what isn’t there, but instead he must fight back the need to search him out and instead curls up on his side and tries his best to sleep. Sometimes when he finds rest doesn’t come at all, he lets his hand fall below his waistband and strokes himself through multiple orgasms until he’s too tired to continue, body too dry to go on, and finally he can fall into a restless sleep.

His gums start to itch again.

Eijirou’s fifteen and he stays away from his house a lot. His parents don’t worry too much because he has friends, lots and lots of friends. They keep him distracted.

When he’s eighteen, he graduates just like he should, and goes to a university just like he should. There are no incidents. Both his mother’s are proud. They hug him and wish him well as they drop him off at school. They say he’s worked so hard to get there and deserves it.

He hasn’t seen his brother in seven years.

It’s another two before it finally happens.

He’s out at a bar celebrating his twentieth birthday, warm cheeked and in good spirits among his friends as he groans when another round is ordered even as the rest of the table cheers. They still have classes tomorrow and Eijirou doesn’t want to be hungover and miserable for the entire morning.

Still, everyone is happy, and he doesn’t say no. He takes the offered beer with a smile as his friend claps him on the back, making the glass spill over all the way down his arm. Eijirou doesn’t mind, he doesn’t like the taste of beer yet, and only laughs as he gets up to go retrieve some more napkins from the bar.

His back is turned as someone walks by and following close behind is a waft of spiced fruits, a scent he now knows as mulled wine and warm rum with a cinnamon stick swirled inside.

He hasn’t smelled it since he was a child.

Eijirou turns quickly and sees a wild tuft of ash blond hair turn down the hall towards the bathrooms and his heart flutters quickly in his chest.

All these years and he’s never forgotten, never let him go, and seeing just the smallest piece of him after so long still makes him ache.

He licks across his teeth, forgetting about the napkins and moves with single minded purpose to follow down the hallway. Everything else doesn’t matter anymore. He’s in a trance. His friends will probably think he’s just needing to use the restroom, but at the same time he doesn’t care what they think.

When he enters, Katsuki is there, washing his hands at the sink. Eijirou sees his reflection in the mirror and thinks he’s never seen anyone as beautiful before. He’s walking up beside him without thinking and, finally when Katsuki looks up and catches him standing there in the mirror, Eijirou knows for certain it’s him.

He’d never forget the eyes they both share.

“Can I help you?”

Eijirou almost wants to cry, his brother has never spoken to him with that tone before.

“It’s– I–” he can’t get the words out.

It’s been so long and he can’t blame Katsuki for not recognizing him. When he was forced to leave, Eijirou was still only a child. He’s grown up since then, dyed his hair and packed on muscle and grew a little more than when he was eleven. Still, he knows it won’t take much.

Katsuki dries his hands, rolling his eyes. “Look, meathead. I’m not doing this weird bathroom dance and I’m not available. So just move out of the way–”

He doesn’t let him finish. He doesn’t mean to, but his instincts flare and the restraint snaps, pushing Katsuki up against the wall until he’s trapped against his body and Eijirou’s entire world pinpoints down into the sight and smell of his brother and his brother alone. He’s taller then Katsuki now, wider too, and it’s easy to keep him close, but the look in Katsuki’s eye tells Eijirou he’s about two seconds away from getting punched in the jaw.

He wants to laugh, loves the fire in his eyes, but the sound never gets out of his throat as he ducks down and presses his nose to Katsuki’s neck, rubbing against him, scenting him.

“Nii-san…”

The punch doesn’t land, the body against him is still, then shaking, then hands are grabbing at his face and lifting him up, eyes almost frantic as they look him over, fingers touching his face, his hair.

“Eijirou…?”

He feels himself breaking and reforming all at the same time. He didn’t think he’d ever get to hear his name again on his brother’s lips, and yet here he is, standing before him, older and different then how he remembered, but still just the same.

“Yeah,” he says, “Yeah, yeah, it’s me. It’s–”

Katsuki pulls him in again, hugging him too tight with all of his strength, pressing Eijirou as close as they can be as Katsuki is instantly rubbing his cheek against Eijirou’s own, scenting him, familiarizing once again with his little brother now much, much, bigger with his scent that of an adult, a true Alpha, instead of the small child he was forced to leave behind.

“Fuck– fuck!” Katsuki mumbles. “I tried to find you again, but they wouldn’t tell me where you went to school or what your phone number was and I– I just thought you’d be gone and I’m, fuck, Eijirou, Ei, I’m so–so sorry.”

Eijirou doesn’t think he’s ever heard his brother say that before. Not like this at least. Not so broken and desperate. He was always the strong one, the eldest, brave and stubborn beyond compare in Eijirou’s eyes, always looking up to him, and now, hearing him like this, seeing him when he pulls back and his eyes are clouded with tears, Eijirou finds something shifts inside of him.

He wants to be the protector now.

The next thing he knows he’s pulling Katsuki in, holding his face in both hands, and kissing him.

He’s warm, his lips soft, Eijirou never wants it to end. He tilts his head to deepen it, body moving so Katsuki shifts and his back hits the bathroom wall.

That’s when he’s being pushed back and when he looks, his brother isn’t looking at him.

“Wha–”

“We can’t do that, Eijirou,” he says, voice stiff. “What happened back then we– I– what I did was wrong.”

At that moment, Eijirou stills. He feels his stomach drop fully, staring wide at his brother who still won’t look at him, and it feels like his entire world is crumbling around him all over again, just like it had that day their Dam told him what they were doing shouldn’t have happened. That it wasn’t right.

“You–”

The door to the bathroom opens, banging loudly against the wall as it hits and a man stumbles into the first stall. There’s a second of silence before the sound of the man throwing up fills the small space and Eijirou knows they shouldn’t be having this conversation here.

Before Katsuki can protest, Eijirou grabs him by the arm and pulls him out of the bathroom, turning back down the hall not towards the bar, but back towards the emergency exit, practically throwing Katsuki out of the door and listening to it close behind them, no reentry.

The night is cool in October, the heat of the bar and drink leaving him quickly, but the fresh air is relaxing, the soft sounds of the city around them like a buzz in the distance. The alley way is unoccupied beyond a few trash cans and a bike leaning against one of the walls. The street is a few meters off, the street lights and business signs filtering in down the stretch of quiet to make it easier to see; to make it easier for Eijirou to see Katsuki as he stands before him glaring softly in the dim light.

Eijirou feels his heart ache.

“You don’t mean that,” he continued right where they left off, right where it was most important. “That’s just what they kept telling you. It’s what they told me too, but they’re wrong!”

“Eijirou–” Katsuki turns away, turns away from his brother, and Eijirou can’t handle that.

He crowds around him and pushes him back, pushes him against the wall and doesn’t give him anywhere else to go, to move. With his arms on either side of Katsuki’s head and their hips pressed against each other, he’s trapped. Katsuki maybe looks a little scared and Eijirou…Eijirou might like that.

“You don’t. Mean that.” He says slowly, each word hot against Katsuki’s face they’re so close.

Katsuki still looks frightened, but he doesn’t flinch. “I have a boyfriend.”

Neither does Eijirou. “I love you.”

Katsuki says nothing to that, no return or comment as his face softens just a little and Eijirou knows all is not lost. Katsuki loves him too, just like he always knew, like he held on to and never doubted.

“I love you,” he says again, leaning in, and this time Katsuki isn’t looking away. “I’ve always loved you…”

Again, he’s kissing him. He presses against him until all he can feel is his brother all around him, and there is no trying to move away. Katsuki takes it, lets Eijirou in, as he swipes his tongue across his lips and finds no resistance as he slides in.

His brother tastes like everything he’s always wanted and always hoped. He’s spicy and sweet, toothpaste and whatever alcohol he was drinking at the bar, everything is so purely him and Eijirou hums into the kiss, licking into Katsuki’s mouth, knowing he’ll never be able to have enough.

For the first time in so many years, everything just feels right, just like it did back when they were younger and alone in the darkness of Katsuki’s bedroom, laying together after Eijirou had had his fill, his young instincts satisfied with the marks he’d left all across his older brother’s body– his mate perfectly his.

Remembering makes everything come into full focus.

Katsuki said he had a boyfriend.

There’s another scent among his clothes, but when Eijirou pulls away to look, he finds no scar on his neck like their momma had– even if he’s dating, he doesn’t belong to anyone. Or rather, doesn’t yet.

Soon. Very soon he will and there will be no question of who and no one will be able to separate them again, but first…

“W-what are you doing?” Katsuki’s panting as he asks, still trying  to catch his breath from the kiss while Eijirou falls to his knees before him.

Katsuki’s hands comb through his hair and Eijirou’s hands go to the front of his brother’s pants.

Eijirou doesn’t pause as he fiddle with the button and fly. “I never got to do this and I’ve been dreaming of it for years now.” He gets the annoying fastenings undone and shoves Katsuki’s pants down to his thighs, underwear quick to follow making the Omega gasp as he was exposed to the cool autumn night air.

“Ei–”

Eijirou presses his cheek to Katsuki’s thigh, hands gripping the warm flesh of his bare legs, nose so close he can taste the scent of Katsuki’s arousal on his tongue– his cunt glistening with slick in the dim light.

He hums, pressing a kiss to the juncture of hip and thigh. “I’m going to taste you, Nii-san.”

Katsuki can do little more than gasp, grip Eijirou’s hair tight in his fists, as his little brother moves in to lick at his pussy, devouring him whole.

Eijirou’s tongue is inexperienced, but determined.

He laps across his brother’s slit, cleaning him of all the slick he’s already spilled, before pulling his folds open with fingers, sucking softly at every inch he moves, wanting to make sure he tastes all of him.

Above him, Katsuki is keening. Thighs tremble and hands pull hard against his scalp as the noise between his thighs gets louder, sounding almost deafening in the empty alley even with the noise of busy streets beyond.

The feeling of Eijirou eating him out lacks by comparison of some of his other experiences, just a sloppy overeager tongue trying to drink up as much of his juices as possible– even at the age of twenty Eijirou acts like a child, unknowing of the world and needing to be taught.

When Katsuki looks down, something he knows he shouldn’t do, he sees his little brother staring back up at him, eyes big and bright and eager with his nose nestled within the trimmed patch of hair at his pussy. It’s almost like when Eijirou would stare up at him in bed, head against his stomach, begging to be able to sleep with him or bite him a little bit more. Eijirou was always nice and asked and Katsuki could never say no to those eyes. He was his big brother, he was supposed to help and guide Eijirou.

“Here,” Katsuki practically whines as he takes hold of his little brother’s head, helping to move him up just a little bit, to guide him like he should. “Suck– suck here, baby. On my clit. It’ll– o-oh! Fuck!

Katsuki’s head hits the brick wall behind him as Eijirou’s licks wrap around the little nub and fully suck. No gentle pace or build up, just slurping against him, tongue flicking against the tip, leaving Katsuki having to bite his lip from moaning too loud and alerting the rest of the city to their public antics.

Eijirou doesn’t let up, doesn’t stop, he holds Katsuki open, pussy on full display, as his chin is drenched in slick that drips freely from Katsuki’s hole, drooling down to soak Eijirou’s shirt and cover him in the scent of arousal– of an Omega pleased, of his brother.

His orgasm is dragged from him, pulled from his body with his little brother torturing his clit with wet, warm, pressure that drives him mad until his stomach finally coils too tight and his hips jerk as it all lets go, almost falling as he cums, would have if Eijirou wasn’t there to hold his weight.

Katsuki moans and Eijirou moans with it, mouth now moving from his clit down to his hole from his slick freely spills and chases the taste of him on his tongue, shoving inside without warning making Katsuki jolt above him with aftershocks of pleasure as he’s tongue-fucked thoroughly.

He’s barely able to catch his breath before, it seems, Eijirou is determined to bring him over the edge again with his tongue, and has to pull his brother back from between his legs so both of them can breathe.

Eijirou almost doesn’t move, growling low when finally his face isn’t pressed in Katsuki’s cunt.

He’s absolutely drenched.

Katsuki hands a can through his hair, trying to calm him. “Hey, hey, you…we can…we have to…go somewhere else. Private.” His eyes flicker up towards the street, towards the people who continue to walk by. They’d bring attention soon, with their sound and their scents and…and Katsuki doubts he’ll be able to stop this in time if they continue here, knowing he’ll be dangling from his brother’s knot in the wide open public if not. “Let's…go back to my place?”

Eijirou, for a second, looks like he might argue, but in the end doesn’t. Katsuki allows him a kiss for that.

They ride the train. They shouldn’t have ridden the train.

Katsuki’s pants are ruined with slick, they smell like sex, and Eijirou can’t stop touching him.

His brother is lost to the taste and scent of his older brother’s sex, refusing to leave his side or create more then an inch of space between them, much preferring to be entirely pressed up against Katsuki so he can grind the very prominent outline of his cock against Katsuki’s thigh or ass or, right before their stop, his clothed cunt, practically fucking him through their clothes with other passengers standing beside them to watch.

When they get off the train, Katsuki scolds his brother, smacking his hands and growling if Eijirou thought he could give him any attitude at all which made the last leg of their short journey easier, quiet, right up until the door to Katsuki’s apartment was closed and Eijirou knew for a fact they were alone.

Katsuki forgot his boyfriend’s scent was all over the place. They didn’t officially live together, but he stayed over enough to have scented the space and left items around to mark his territory.

Katsuki even forgot to text him. Forgot to say where he was or going or who he was with, too distracted by the reappearance of his baby brother and how good his mouth felt against his pussy– too much of a slut for his own brother to even remember or care.

Now, with the thought again back, Katsuki thinks to text him, but doesn’t get that far.

Neither of them get far as Eijirou practically slams into him, all heavy body of muscle and teeth against his still clothed body, pushing Katsuki back until he hits the couch and tumbles over onto it.

“Mine, mine, mine,” Eijirou repeats over and over again, torn between rubbing himself all over the cushions and fabric and rubbing himself on Katsuki.

There’s no calming him down, even if Katsuki tries, and even after finds that his little brother is very clearly not so little anymore– bulking up in their years apart, he’s heavy on top of him and almost impossible to move as his instincts take over and all he wants to do is touch Katsuki and never let go.

He shifts and wriggles as Eijirou tears or pulls at his clothing, stripping him bare in patches until Katsuki is naked laying on his couch, shivering in the cool air of his apartment as Eijirou finally takes a moment to sit back and look at him.

Really look at him.

His skin is almost flawless. Almost.

Katsuki has no prominent marks on his body, no bites or bruises marring his skin, but there is the shimmer of old scars. Of teeth imprinted onto his forever, a small inexperienced mouth scattered across his torso, guided by a hand that told him exactly where to plant his teeth.

Eijirou stares, feeling tears prickle at the corners of his eyes, which is only made okay when Katsuki sits up to take hold on him and guide him back down, letting his brother rest across his chest, head cradled in his arms, much like they did as children.

Eijirou can barely speak. “No one’s…you’ve never…”

“No,” Katsuki says, knowing what lies between the broken fragments of Eijirou’s words. “I never let anyone else mark me, not like that, not like you. I never wanted anyone else.”

Eijirou looks up, Katsuki meets his eye, and they lean forward at the same time to meet in the middle, kissing like they always wanted, holding one another.

Katsuki’s hands are the ones that go to Eijirou’s clothes, pulling until his pants open and skilled fingers free his cock, hard and dripping ever since they left the bar, the alley, and there is little time for any further foreplay.

Eijirou is impatient and Katsuki is lucky he’s so wet.

Still, as Eijirou presses the tip of his cock to his brother’s hole with Katsuki’s guiding hand, both of them can’t help the noise that leaves them when the fat head pops inside– Eijirou moaning into Katsuki’s throat while his older brother nearly squeals with the sudden stretch of his pussy, trying to adjust to the size and shape of his baby brother quickly, as Eijirou can’t help himself as he slides forward, sinking half his cock in without warning.

Nails scratch down Eijirou’s back as he thrusts, groaning with the sting of pain as his cock is squeezed and pulled in against warm walls, feeling for the first time his brother’s tight cunt throbbing around him, hot and welcome as he carves space inside him, marking Katsuki from the inside out as the combination of pre and slick squelch between them as they move.

Everything is too quiet and loud everything finally together where it belongs, as Katsuki’s walls loosen for the Alpha fucking him and as Eijirou purrs softly, nuzzling against his brother’s neck until Katsuki turns his head, exposing the expanse of skin he was never allowed to touch.

But they’re adults now, adults with no parents to pull them apart and tell them no, nothing to hide away from, and even with this knowledge Eijirou hesitates– hesitates long enough to look at his brother, at his big brother who he’s always loved and adored and looked up to.

And Katsuki looks back, just as he’s always done. Unable to deny his little brother anything, Katsuki nods without word, without fail, and closes his eyes so he can fully feel when the sharp Alpha teeth sink into his throat, tearing through skin to muscle, to blood, feeling that thick tongue drink it up, lick him clean, form the bond that will scar and last and forever have Eijirou claiming Katsuki as his.

Eijirou’s cock pistons inside of him, thickening as his orgasm approaches, knot swelling as it pops inside Katsuki making him gasp with the sudden new stretch.

“Mine.”

It burns, his cunt burns as he’s fucked too quickly and too much, but he holds on wanting it, tears in his eyes as his little brother takes his apart, breeding him full.

“Mine.”

It’s not how Katsuki imagined it. It’s not a gentle romp in the dark of their childhood home, their bedrooms, with fingers and limbs unknowing, but searching for each other and the pleasure that would go with it. Still, as Eijirou’s knot swells fully, as it’s shoved inside Katsuki until his back is arching and he’s coming again, slick soaking them both as he squirts against the pleasure inside of him, Katsuki doesn’t think this is too bad.

“Mine.”

He thinks as he feels Eijirou come inside him, remembers he’s not wearing a condom as cum warms him from the inside out, cock head snug inside of him, poking hot at his belly.

He doesn’t regret it.

He doesn’t regret a thing.

Katsuki pulls Eijirou in, kisses his mouth, tastes his own blood on his brother’s tongue.

“Yours.”
