11 Wakandans were among those killed during a confrontation between the Avengers and a group of mercenaries in Lagos, Nigeria, last month. The traditionally reclusive Wakandans were on an outreach mission in Lagos when the attack occurred.
King T’Chaka : When stolen Wakandan Vibranium was used to make a terrible weapon, we in Wakanda were forced to question our legacy. Those men and women killed in Nigeria were part of a good will mission from a country too long in the shadows. We will not however, let misfortune drive us back. We will fight to improve the world we wish to join.
Our people’s blood is spilled on the foreign soil. Not because of the actions of the criminals, but by the indifference of those pledged to stop them. Victory at the expense of the innocent, is no victory at all.

When you think about it, what legal authority does an enhanced individual like Wanda Maximoff or even the Avengers have to operate in Nigeria. That’s the truth, without laws, Avengers have no jurisdiction to enter another country to engage or capture criminals.
The training and the recruitment of the avengers as well as their qualifications is called into question. No one knows anything about Wanda Maximoff apart from her being a Sokovian. Questions about Steve Rogers leadership qualities are being raised across the social media platforms.
And with this the Sokovia Accords have been approved by the UN and the enhanced are expected to support it. Let’s see what Mr. Stark, Iron man has to say about the Accords.
Tony Stark : What happened in Nigeria was irresponsible and my condolences to the people who lost their loved ones. Sokovia Accords are something that I believe will make disasters like Lagos from repeating itself. I firmly believe in the Accords and fully support them.
