Work Text:

"I know you're in there, Snivellous!" Yelled James Potter, Head Auror of the Ministry of Magic, despite the fact he stood in the middle of a Muggle town. His sidekick, Sirius Black, snarled with crossed arms while his infamous son, Charlie Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived, Vanquisher of the Dark Lord, whined. "As Head Auror, you are to be brought in for being under the suspicion of working hand-in-hand with the Dark Lord during the Second Wizarding War!"

"Yeah! You Death Eaters are all scum of the Earth!" The youngest in the little group yelled out while sneering at the disgusting surroundings. "OPEN UP!"

Behind the wooden door, Severus Snape frowned. Ever since he graduated from Hogwarts, the young potioneer had disappeared off the charts, furthering his studies and ignoring the war. He has been living a lovely life without any contact with those in the war. Hell, he even declined offers that usually would have endangered his life.  'At least the Dark Lord was understanding when  she  was brought up...'

"How am I among those suspicious, Head Auror Potter?" He asked silkily after opening his door and leaning against the wooden frame. "And please keep your voice down. You are in the proximity of Muggles..."

"SHUT UP! We all know you Slytherins are bloody Death Eaters!" Sirius argued, raising his voice, even more, ignoring Severus' warning.

In annoyance, Severus whipped out his wand. Before he could lift sound-cancelling wards, three wands were pointed at him and he stilled. "DROP YOUR WAND, YOU SLIMY SNAKE!"

"You haven't changed at all, now have you, Potter?" Muttered the calm man while raising a single brow in defiance.

   "I SAID DROP-"

"I advise you to shut your bloody trap, Head Auror Potter?" A cold chilling voice spoke softly, yet loud enough to catch the surrounding wizards attention, causing their spines to stiffen. Severus' onyx eyes rose to see a familiar pair of emerald jade pair and he blinked owlishly at the apologetic look in them. The man then said, "I apologise thoroughly for the Auror's mishap, Potion Master Severus Snape. They seem to often go against the Ministries orders... But I shall attain them to maintain the peace among our people and I hope you forgive them for their... crude remarks."

If it weren't for the stoic image he usually kept around public, Severus would be laughing at the dumbfounded looks on the Aurors face. but instead, he returned with a small smile and nodded in understanding. "I completely understand, Unspeakable..."

"Peverell... Unspeakable Peverell, at your service." Introduced the taller man before he turned to his coworkers with a dark glare. "Madam Bones is not pleased with your actions, Head Auror Potter... I hope you are prepared for the consequences..."

Instead of fear, rage filled the eldest Potter's face and he snarled, "How dare you order me around! You're my son! You work UNDER me, brat!"

"Says the man who is on the edge of demotion," the Unspeakable stated like it wasn't something that caused Severus' mask to slightly slip. "Leave him be and send in a report if you truly suspect this man. Follow the rules of leave... You know that, Lord Potter..."

And with that, the group of Auror's disappeared. Not long later, a small five-year-old girl came bouncing up to Severus' feet with a wide smile. "Hello, Daddy! I heard from Nanny Em you had weird visitors!"

"They were just lost, little one," Smiled the single father while lifting his child onto his hip and turning to reenter his house. "So tell me about your first day of school, Eileen..."

Of course, it was no surprise to Severus when he received an owl post from the ministry, asking for his attendance for a trial regarding his identity. He wasn't surprised due to the fact he was a former acquaintance of Lord Malfoy, a well-known Death Eater. He folded up the letter and wiped off remains of coffee near his lips before turning to his precious daughter.

"Eileen," he called out softly, catching her immediate attention. "Daddy needs to go somewhere, so are you okay with staying with Nanny Em this afternoon and evening? I'm not sure when Daddy will be back..."

"Nanny Em is sick, Daddy," Eileen politely pointed out while chomping on another spoonful of cereal. "Can't Eileen come too? I wanna see the magic!"

"It's ' want to' , honey," he reprimanded before turning to stare out the window. Ever since Eileen's abandonment, Severus had promised to never keep secrets from his daughter. So she knew of Magic but he had never brought her out to the Magical World since the war. Now that it had concluded, he held no reason to continue doing so. "Alright then..."

He sighed softly as Eileen cheered and ran circles around his living room, but he couldn't help but smile warmly at her delight. He knew how much she wished to see more magic and he couldn't wait to show her the world she should've lived through.

"COME ON, DADDY!" Shrieked the little child with her bouncing ponytails as she hopped on one spot, ignoring the large bustling crowd. "LET'S GO!"

"Eileen! Slow down," Severus called out while ignoring the looks he got from the surrounding passers. Being isolated from the magical world, Severus didn't know how he looked to the public, especially since he was a complete introvert. He knew based on a few Muggle-meet-ups at Eileen's kindergarten, he was rather eye-catching, but he thought it was only in the Muggle's point of view. "Honey... You might get lost! Come on, let Daddy carry you, okay?"

And so, Severus Snape continued his way through Diagon Alley to pick up some cash for lunch, ignoring how many witches and wizards were looking at him closely. His pale porcelain skin shimmered in his dark outfit, his slim body curves revealed in his tight button-up shirt and his tight jeans. His fingers gloved and protected while his lovely hair was tied up in a neat tiny ponytail, nestled by his shoulder. He had used potions to fix his broken hooked nose and it looked perfectly straight.

Soon, he reached Gringotts and bowed respectively to the guards before turning to a Teller with a polite smile. "Excuse me. May I speak to the Head Goblin regarding my family vaults?"

"Name..." Dully said the Goblin, although she gave a gentle look to his daughter instead of her usual cold gaze.

"Severus Snape," he stated easily while adding casually, "I haven't been using my Prince Vaults in a while... Goblin DarkThorn..."

The Goblin seemed impressed by his skill and courtesy. So instead of leaving him on the usual hold for ten minutes (something the Goblins does to Wizard who are disrespectful), she immediately sent a little Goblin to inform the Head Goblin and began scribbling on a parchment. "Prince Vault and the HBP Vault?"

Severus blushed slightly at the mentioning of his second vault and nodded mutely while his daughter stared with doe-like eyes at the Goblins deck. Before they could continue speaking, Eileen asked rather bluntly, "What's that?"

"Um... This's a Quill and Parchment, Lil one," the Goblin kindly answered with a look of brief amusement at Eileen's curiosity. "New to our world?"

"Yep! Daddy says the war is bad and Eileen shouldn't go near magic until it's over! Now that it is and Daddy needs to go and Nanny Em is sick, Eileen finally gets to see! And Eileen is very curious! Eileen wants to know everything but Daddy says Eileen is too little but Eileen is a big girl now!"

A few witches smiled warmly at Eileen's words, other purebloods sneered at the distraction while the Goblins all seemed amused. Severus blushed heavily at her words and hushed her softly. "Eileen, I know. But I didn't for your safety."

"But now Eileen out means no bad war, right?" Eileen innocently asked, oblivious to the tension around them "And if no war, Daddy won't be sad, right? War hurt Daddy..."

"Is that so, Potion Master Snape?" A familiar voice spoke behind him, startling the potioneer. Jolting in surprise, he turned to see the Unspeakable from the other day and he relaxed. "Well, I apologise for not finishing the war earlier. Poor Eileen is really left behind, huh?"

"Mr Peverell... It is a pleasure to see you again but it's not your fault..." Severus greeted. "Sorry for Eileen's volume. She's very... exhilarated."

"Well, any child would be..." Chuckled the Unspeakable while stepping forward. "I would like to speak to Griphook, if I may?"

"Of course, Lord Peverell," replied the Goblin while turning to bow shortly at Severus and Eileen. "You may follow Goblin BronzeSkull to meet the Head Goblin once he returns... If you may excuse me..."

"May your gold flow forever," Severus said softly, ignoring the incredulous looks from the Goblins in his vicinity.

DarkThorn took a moment to let that memory sink in before grinning with her sharp teeth. "And may your enemies flee in terror, Lord Half-Blood Prince..." She walked off with Lord Peverell, ignoring Severus's choking on thin air at the usage of his old title.

'What an interesting Wizard...'

Eileen kept her arms wrapped around her Daddy's neck as he walked through large empty corridors and her eyes widen in sight of the amazing carvings. She pointed out and questioned multiple things regarding Gringotts with the goblin, BronzeSkull. Her Daddy tried shushing her at first but BronzeSkull answered everything easily.  'Daddy's funny! BronzeSkull is very nice!'

When they reached a huge doorway, Eileen gasped at its sheer size. "WOW! Is this a door for big people?"

"Not really, Lil One! But we do often bring in Dragons for fun," BronzeSkull answered easily, ignoring the fact her Daddy's face went sheet white.

"Dragons!?" She squealed in delight. Eileen has seen pictures of big bad dragons from books Daddy reads out to her but she has never seen it in real life. "Daddy! Daddy! Can we see dragons? Please! Please! Pretty Please!!!"

"She sounds like a lovely child, Lord Prince," a deep voice chuckled from the large doorway, shocking the child and her father. "Please, bring them in, BronzeSkull."

The doors were pushed open and Eileen gasped at the very sight of the Head Goblin, Goldoracle.

  "Big man..."

Severus left Gringotts with his Lord rings, 100K Galleons in an extended pouch and a hyper Eileen, he beelined for the closest red telephone box. He waited in line while reminding Eileen to keep things silent regarding the magical world. The Potion Master was so deep in the childish conversation, he didn't notice when a familiar man stood right behind him with a grin.

"Do you mind sharing a box?" Asked Unspeakable Peverell out of the blue, causing Severus to jolt. "Sorry, Potion Master Snape!"

"N-No it's okay," chuckled weakly the ravenhead befoe making room in the line for the other man. "Um. We really haven't introduced ourselves to each other, huh? I'm Severus Snape, and this is my daughter Eileen Snape."

"I'm Eileen! And me five!" Cheered the youngling while lifting up four stubby fingers, gaining amused chuckles from nearby women.

"Honey, that's four," Severus scolded softly while giving an apologetic grin to the younger man. "But yes, she's five. And you are?"

"Harrison Peverell," the Unspeakable said while holding open the telephone box door to allow the single father in. Once closing it, he gently bopped Eileen's nose and watched her giggle while asking friendly, "Where's your mother, little one?"

Severus froze at this while Eileen chirped, "Mama said she busy and told Daddy to take Eileen! And then... and then... Mama still busy!"

Harry's smile faltered slightly before his eyes met Severus and he watched sadness fill those beautiful onyx eyes. Hesitating, he considered his word choice carefully. "Well... Then I guess she doesn't mind if your Daddy would let me take you two to dinner, right?"

While Eileen cheered at the prospect of free food, Severus' eyes were blown wide in shock and surprise before they narrowed in suspicion. But even after so long of calculating things, he didn't see how this young man could take advantage of him or why. And so he accepted it with a curt nod before stepping out of the box and heading straight for the front desk.

"I guess this is where we part ways, Lord Peverell," he bristly said while tightening his hold on Eileen's small hand. His body was still paranoid of the Magical world, especially since the last time he was anywhere near it, he was cursed for being a Slytherin. "As you know my address, I hope you can find yourself there by eight PM?"

"Of course," responded the younger man with a small smile before turning away. Severus and Eileen watched him disappear into the crowd before turning to the registration desk.

'Alright then... Back to the world of chaos, huh...'

"I'm telling you all, he's a Death Eater!" Ranted James Potter from his seat beside Sirius Black and Albus Dumbledore. The war has ended physically but the political warfare was still ongoing. Despite defeating the Dark Lord, the Light and Albus still haven't been able to take control of the Wizengamot. Something was preventing them from doing just that and they were still pushing to get a few laws passed.

"There is no solid evidence besides your word that Severus was in close contact with Lucius Malfoy," Madam Amelia Bones countered with an exasperated expression. She was getting tired of Albus' bull crap about allowing random people to be sent to Azkaban simply for having a Dark Core. "Anyone has  concrete  evidence?"

"He's a snake and we all know snakes are Death Eaters!" Sirius Black defended his best friend while ignoring the disdained looks of his fellow politicians. "Just finish any snake with a Kiss and we can continue our way of life safely!"

"Now listen here, Lord Black," Lady Zambini was about to begin her rant of being neutral when the doors of the Wizegamot slammed open and in stormed an Unspeakable. "Oh... Lord Peverell..."

"I apologise for being late but this case is something I must have a say in," said the latecomer explained while turning to Secretary Weasley. "Please introduce my titles and seats..."

"Of course," Percival nodded while pulling out the indicated file and slipping out his wand to begin the projection of seat placing. "Lord Harrison Peverell, Lord of the Most Ancient and Founding House of Gryffindor-Slytherin, Ancient and Noble House of Peverell-Black-Potter and... um... Lord of The Great House of Emerys..."

With such introduction announced, the lights winked alight on the projection and everyone watched as the Light lost its power. Everyone had gasped at the final title and Severus himself sat stunned at what was the most powerful politician in Britain.

Harrison seemed like this was all normal and simply smiled while waving his wand. "And as such, I terminate this case seeing as Potion Master Severus is one of my Potion suppliers and has been working around the provided labs around the clock, unable to attend any possible Death Eater meetings."

It was no secret Severus' mastery gained the attention of many rich purebloods but Lord Peverell was a secret client who went by the name Lord Emerys. Honoured by having a client under such a name, Severus worked really hard to impress said client despite never meeting him but all he asked in return was to be allowed o work in his house instead of anywhere else. One day, as he visited Eileen's school festival, Lord Emerys had left a note for him stating how he warded the house to allow Potion Brewing and supplied him with the seedlings of many rare ingredients. Severus has been a loyal brewer ever since then and now was astonished to finally meet the man in person.

He allowed the younger man's magic to weave through his cuffs, unlocking the chains and helping him up. Severus looked into Harrisons emerald eyes and gave a small smile in gratitude, which he was returned with a smile of his own. Severus was about to leave, not wishing to be in the middle of the court as things blew up when James Potter himself dished out the first spell and all hell came loose.

The small fight ended rather quickly much to everyone's surprise by Severus Snape himself. It was simple with the aid of Lord Peverell. Severus was protected by strong shields and when the Light saw this, they all launched their attacks. The neutral let out their blasts to end this fight while the Dark let out a few hits for fun. Seeing the chaos, Severus quickly bit at his thumb, ripping the skin and dripping blood before swiftly drawing runes on the marble floor. In the middle of the battle, nobody could do anything as he finished the runic forms before clapping his palms together and yelling out.

And with that, magic soared around the room and everyone gasped at the magical prowess displayed. Severus' magic held everyone back in their respective seats and healed any injuries. His eyes were glowing and those with malicious intent could feel their cores slightly chained. Albus himself shivered in discomfort.

"W-What did you do to us?" Lord Nott wondered warily from his seat in the Dark Faction. He knew Severus as a Potion supplier but not as this. The brunette was wondering if this young man would be the next big thing in Britains Magical World.

"I simply used restraining spells and compulsions to have everyone cease-fire," stated the Potion Master while healing his thumb and eyeing them all. "I shall leave the rest to the Ministry since it seems like my case is closed... Lord Peverell, Will I be seeing you later?"

"Of course, Severus," Harrison curtly replied while allowing the Potion Master a clear path out the court. Once the doors slammed shut, he faced the Light Faction with a dark expression. "Alright... Now listen here very carefully, assholes..."

"Papa!!" Shrieked Eileen, catching Severus off guard as his little girl launched herself into his arms. Severus had left her in the audience room under a clients son by the name Blaise Zambini. Blaise had known Eileen based on his mother's stories (something on Lazy Zambini could extract from Severus with her motherly presence) "Blaisey showed me magic! He make pen spin and Eileen dizzy! Then he give a dwink called... called... um... P-P-Poshon?"

"You mean a Potion, sweetheart?" He answered her dilemma and gently picked her up as she cheered. "Thank you for your assistance, Heir Zambini..."

"It is no problem, Potion Master Snape," responded the tan young man while eyeing the tinted windows keeping them and the court apart. "I haven't seen Harrison as pissed like this since Hogwarts... He used to only give that sneer to the Idiot Trio..."

"Well, I'm just glad I'm not at the opposite side of his glare," he agreed while a blush raised on his pale cheeks as he recalled how protective Lord Peverell acted as he was in danger.

Blaise noticed this and added ever so casually before leaving, "He's not seeing anyone and I'm pretty sure he's into guys..."

  "W-Wait, what?"

Harry stood across the door in a neatly pressed muggle outfit beneath his usual robes. He was anticipating this meeting after so long. Corresponding with the number one Potion Master in Britain was surely awkward but to meet the man face-to-face was an honour and a privilege. And to be able to continue seeing the man out of business affairs made him feel like the luckiest man alive. The young politician wasn't surprised when he found himself admiring the man in a more lustful way and he certainly wasn't surprised when Draco himself agreed with his plans.

Gifting Severus with things that light up the mans dull life, he has been secretly courting him and hoped for the man to take note and respond. But shockingly enough, Severus seemed nonchalant to Harry's advances and today was the day he planned to go straight for the prize. He even had Eileen's permission as he once helped Severus back to his feet when he fell ill of cold from a late-night ingredient gathering event.

Taking a deep breath, he hesitantly knocked and smiled widely insight of Severus in casual wear. The man had his beautiful hair tied up in a mini ponytail and wore a grey turtleneck, showing off the curves of his slim hips. What really got the blood poling south was the muggle jeans that tightly held his perfectly perk a-  'Harry... Stay cool! You want to woo the man! Not jump him!'

However, plans were made to be broken as Severus easily leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his lips before grinning, "Welcome home, Harry!"

  "Huh?"

"Wait, what?" Severus froze at Harry's confused state. "I... Um... I honestly thought we were already dating and all... and you... and you... oh... Sorry I jumped to such conclusions..."

"N-No wait a sec!" Harry gently cupped Severus trembling hands and gave a reassuring smile. "I'm not against the idea! I'm just... I thought you were simply clueless of my advances..."

"Advances? I thought that was your usual gift-giving between lovers? Eileen has been pushing for me to allow her to call you Papa but I wasn't sure yet... So...."

Harry eventually decided to cut his rambling by quickly pulling out the Peverell Consort ring and knelt in front of the Potion Master. Severus' eyes welled up in joy and he gingerly accepted the ring before launching himself into those warm arms, knowing he was safe at last...
