Uti possidetis, Ita possideatis

Summary:

The spear of Macragge gets distracted by a sexy librarian.

Notes:

The sexual tension between Varro Tigurius and Antaro Chronus is real and canon, you can't change my mind. How am I expected to not work with this? 😅

”I was informed you have command?’
‘Yes,’ answered Agrippen, ‘together with our Chief Librarian.’
Chronus smiled at the hooded psyker, who kept his distance from the strategy table. His eyes glowed with power in the dusk that had settled over Kellenport.
‘Varro and I are well known to one another.’
Tigurius nodded. Even in the shadows, Chronus saw the Librarian’s jawbone tense at the informality.”
--
”We are surrounded, Commander Chronus,’ uttered Tigurius. ‘Kellenport is a solitary lantern amidst a sea of night.’
‘I always admired your poetry, Varro,’ said Chronus, rubbing his clean-shaven chin. ‘I have no gift for it, myself. I am altogether a much blunter instrument.”

Work Text:

Antaro Chronus was going through the hangar inspecting his different vehicles. He loved going through the garage at night. It was peaceful, no bustling of tech marines or servitors doing their maintenance, only him and his machines.
There would be no one who asked him what he was doing revving up the engines and listening to them purr. Simply listening to a vehicle could tell you more than any diagnostic in his opinion, you could hear if a machine spirit was satisfied or upset.
He dragged his hand across the surface of a land raider as if he was soothing an animal. Every dent and scratch told a story no matter how well it had been buffed out.

He suddenly got an electric feeling down his skin, it was as if an invisible hand experimentally mimicked his movements across his flesh instead of the land raider’s steel. He closed his eyes and focused on the sensations.
The touch lingered on scars fresh and old, exploring carefully down his body.
“Varro” He whispered out to nothingness.
+Pleased to see me?+ He got the answer spoken directly into his mind, he had never gotten used to the sensation.
“I can't see you, where are you?”
+Where do you want me to be?+
Chronus sighed at Tigurius' incapability to answer a simple question without asking one in return.
+You can finish your inspection, don't let me disturb+ The voice continued. The invisible hands were talking a different language though as they focused their attention on his neck and the insides of his thigh moving teasingly slow upwards.
“I'd rather finish you” He replied brazenly.
+Tut-tut Antaro, all things in their time+
Chronus groaned as the hands started touching and stroking him more intimately.
“I want to touch you too” His voice got a bit deeper, pleading for his lover.
+You got to find me first+
“Want to give me some kind of clue?”
+What's the challenge in that?+
The only thing Chronus could think of doing was to focus as intently he could on the things he wanted to do to Tigurius, hoping that the psyker would be able to sense his mind. He imagined himself lifting his lover upon the command table of the land raider behind him fucking him hard.
It seems to have worked, the ministrations of the invisible hands faltered for a second, and he was sent a vision back of his lover in a seat, legs spread wide, touching himself. He was so beautiful, much lither than himself, so ethereal. But he had made one mistake, Chronus knew where he was now. He’d recognized the warped window of this specific Deimos Predator, he quickly made his way over there.
He was glad to see he was right. Tigurius was there, identical to the vision he had sent.
“How did you figure it out?” he asked a bit amused.
“Would you believe me if I said it was because of my overwhelming affection for you?” Chronus answered slyly.
“No” Tigurius laughed.
“The window behind you warps a bit and reflects light weirdly,” Chronus pointed towards it.
“Ah, the light makes fools of us all” Tigurius didn't get to finish the sentence before Chronus silenced him with a kiss.
