INT. MONK’S
George: So I saw that Birth of a Nation movie.
Jerry: Oh, how was it?
George: Oh amazing, like writing history with lightning.
Jerry: Writing history like lightning? What does that mean?
George: You know... like history but more exciting, like lightning.
Jerry: So like being in history class while being struck by lightning, sounds great.
George: Oh it was, there was so much, they had cuts, fade outs, close-ups-
Jerry: Ehh.
George: What, you don’t like the close up?
Jerry: Oh of course, I love seeing every oily pore on someone’s face on a big screen, that’s how I want to spend my Sunday evening.
George: It shows the character’s innermost thoughts and feelings!
Jerry: It shows the character’s innermost nose hairs!
Jerry and George’s Black Friend (guest star Jerry Minor): Hey, are you talking about that Birth of a Nation movie? I hear it’s really something, tell me what’s it’s about?
Jerry: Uh....
George: Uh....
Jerry: Well, it’s really all in the title, it’s the birth of a nation.
George: Yeah, you see a nation being born, that’s all that can be said really. It’s an arty movie, honestly not worth seeing.
Jerry: Yeah, you get the birth, and boy do you get the nation.
