Shocking news appeared in the piercing gazes of the public.
Film Empress Jing Xiu passed away from grief.
This piece of news more than the other two shocked the entirety of China. Perhaps it was how they were connected that really did it.
Before that, the general public was aware of the scene she made at her wedding by running away after making the vow. It was clearly related to the matter of Ji Youyan’s death. The matters coincided too perfectly to be happenstance, but no one was willing to reveal the truth about the matter.
To make matters worse, before her death, Mrs. Jing Xiu had been acting erratically, allegedly even hitting the deceased at the funeral.
Her reputation tarnished, but a few devout fans still spoke out against these unconfirmed rumors.
However, some people, whether out of malice or genuine curiosity, brought up the matter of the scandalous rumors of the same-sex affairs between Ji Youyan and Jing Xiu. These matters were desperately put out quickly by Jing Xiu’s former company and her family, but eventually, it had become a insidious hot topic ranking third.
LittleGoddess45: Clearly, the two had some sort of falling out in the past and their relationship was forever broken, but if it was just a fragile relationship, then why would the Film Empress Jing Xiu mourn the loss of her the most?
XiaoXiuFan: How dare you say that! My goddess is gone and you’re trying to bring that dog blood drama back again?!!!
LittleGoddess45: Hey, I’m only saying this because I’ve heard reports of Ji Youyan’s increasing problems with alcoholism after their falling out. Even if it wasn’t romance, whatever was between them obviously left huge impacts on the both of them!
XiaoXiuFan: You’re saying that despite all the scandals Ji Youyan has had with her fellow male co-workers?! Such a girl wasn’t even worthy of my goddess!
Exchanges like these would take place on Weibo as people became more aware of how Ji Youyan’s relationship with Jing Xiu was more romantic than they had thought, so they turned to close connections to those two for answers.
Unluckily for them, everyone involved with the two kept their mouths shut, except for one unruly bastard: Wang Junchan or something.
He revealed what he had suspected and sent the whole country in an uproar when it was revealed that two of the most popular actresses were involved in a gay relationship. This confirmed many of the scandals between the two to be true, but it didn’t illustrate why the two had broken up. But not many cared about that. Most only cared about dragging their names through the mud.
Many condemned the two’s past relationship, and some attributed it to bad parenting. With this, the pressure on those who had previously refused to reveal such details increased.
Nowadays, Jing Shurong, Jing Xiu’s mother, and anyone else involved with the two had to hide their own faces from the public to avoid being pestered by them.
Nevertheless, the question everyone had on their mind during these tumultuous times was: Why wasn’t Jing Xiu able to move on from Ji Youyan’s death, after they broke up a while ago?
