Chapter Text
The bar was busy that night and Type was having a great time. He wished Tharn had come with him, but Type was determined to not let his boyfriend’s absence bother him. Type was laughing at Techno’s stories, when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey, wanna come dance with me, cutie?” The owner of the hand asked.
“No thanks.” Type grunted and shoved the hand away.
“C’mon, don’t be rude.” The guy laughed and leaned even closer. “I’m sure you didn’t squeeze yourself into those jeans, if you weren’t looking for a good time.”
Type jumped up from his seat and gave the guy his signature death glare. “Yeah, I came to look for a good time with my friends, not with some asshole, who doesn't even know what “no thanks” means!” Type snapped and pushed the guy away.
“Suit yourself.” The guy said and gave Type one last look, before backing away.
The spot where the guy had touched Type felt itchy, almost dirty, but Type brushed the feeling away the best he could and tried to focus on No’s story, which his friend was trying to continue after the interruption.
The evening dragged on and Type excused himself to go to the bathrooms, but on his way back to the table he came face to face with the guy who had been hitting on him. Type tried to step around the guy, but was suddenly slammed against the wall of the hallway.
“I told you I wanted to have a good time with you, you little bitch.” He grunted against Type’s ear and pushed his body roughly against Type’s.
Type was about to knee the guy’s balls, when his surroundings suddenly shifted into the dusty and disgusting space of his childhood nightmares. His vision kept flicking back and forth between the hallway leading to bathrooms and the locked room, he could never truly escape from. The hands against his body grew, they were too large, like the hands of an adult male against a child's frail body. Type’s body froze. He was locked inside the body of a scared little boy. He wanted to scream, kick and punch, but all he could do was shrink and whimper.
“Not putting up a fight now, are you? I knew you wanted it all along.” The guy laughed and groped Type, who tried to make his body move, but it was like his arms and legs were paralyzed.
Fight, Type, fight! You are not a little boy anymore! Why don’t you fight? Type screamed inside his head. You can’t let him touch you! Only Tharn can touch. Only Tharn. Tharn, Tharn, Tharn…
To Type’s horror, he realised the guy was walking his pliant body towards the bar’s entrance and his hazy mind supplied another terrifying fact; there was another guy pressing against Type’s side. The guy wasn’t doing this alone. There was more than one man taking him away.
Techno was just about to tease Champ about something, when his eyes landed on Type. Type who was squeezed between two heavily built guys. Techno knew immediately something was very wrong. He recognised one of the men as the same guy Type had earlier turned down. Techno knew Type only allowed very few people to come close to him, he most definitely wouldn’t let two strangers be in his personal space, if things were right. But what striked most unnerving to Techno was the blank look on Type’s face. His eyes were vacant, like he wasn’t even aware of his surroundings.
Techno jumped into action. He dragged Champ up with him and sprinted towards the doors that Type had just stepped out with the two men. “Ai Champ, come on! Something is wrong.”
Outside the bar they saw Type being led towards a car and a man leaning against it. “ Ai Type! Type!” Techno shouted and ran after them, Champ hot on his heels.
Through the heavy fog in Type’s brain penetrated a familiar voice. Ai Type! Type! That voice didn’t belong to his childhood nightmares.
“ Techno.” He whispered. “ Ai No, Ai No.” Type tried to shout, but his voice was small and hoarse. But despite that, No was there, he jumped to Type’s line of vision. His familiar, warm hand grabbed Type’s wrist. Type couldn’t keep up with No’s quick talking, but he knew No was talking the ears off of the guys, who had been leading Type away from the bar. Type almost wanted to laugh, he knew No could distract anyone with his mile a minute way of speaking. But all he could do was let tears fall on his cheeks when he felt No and Champ suddenly pull him away from the men. Type stumbled between them, when the three of them ran across the small car park towards Champ’s car. No pushed him inside the car and Champ locked the car doors after No had jumped in after Type. Without looking back Champ sped towards the street, away from the bar.
Type curled tightly against No, who tentatively wrapped his arms around Type.
“Hey, let’s get you home.” He gently said and tried to smile encouragingly. To his surprise Type shook his head.
“Please, no. Tharn will be angry. Tharn will leave me. He… he will hate me. Can’t live without him.” Type muttered. “Please, Ai No, please don’t tell Tharn. Can’t lose Tharn.”
“ Shh, Type. What are you on about? Tharn’s not going to leave you. Why would he?” No’s brows furrowed in concerne.
“You don’t understand. I’m a disappointment. I let it happen again. Tharn can’t forgive me another time. He will be so angry. I’m dirty. I’m nothing now.” Type whispered through sobs that were now escaping his trembling lips.
He was useless and dirty. Disgusting. Good for nothing. Never good enough for Tharn. Never good enough.
