Finn runs towards her, arms and smile wide and joyful. They trip, but they're like her, fleet and balanced, and the trip turns into a somersault, they barely slow down.
Something about that moment wrenches Catra back in time and it's She-Ra running towards her, sword ready to strike, and she crouches to spring and then it's Finn again, slowing, wary.
"Mom?"
She doesn't say anything, can't say anything, but she picks them up and hugs them close, letting the smell of Finn overwhelm her senses and ground her in this place and this time.
It will keep getting better.
