It was a quiet evening, the whole floor was filled with medical equipment. There were not many rooms there, but the door at the end of the hallway was being guarded with two men in black, complete with gun in their pocket.
Suddenly the lift made a ding sound and expensive italian leather shoes footstep filled that hallway. Another pair of footsteps follow behind and march towards that guarded door.
“ Good evening Khun Kinn”, said one of the men guarding those door.
“Good evening, who came to visit today?”
“Only Khun Tankhun sir.”
Satisfied with the answer the man opened the door and enter the hospital like room.
The room was not build as a hospital room, but it was renovated to carter all the medical needs for the patient that lay on that hospital bed.
The steady beeping sounds filled that room. Kinn entered the room and walked to the hospital bed.
He stop next to the bed and stare at the man lying on the white hospital bed. The man looked pale, gone all the sun kissed skin that he used to have. But Kinn didn’t mind, he still love it as much as before.
“Hello my love, how are you today?” Said Kinn as he stroked the head and fixed the hair that grew longer than usual.
“Hmmm… your hair grow long again, I’ll ask someone to come and cut it for you tomorrow”
The man that lay on the bed did not answer, he lay completely still, unmoving, he had been in that condition for almost 1 year.
Few knocks heard from the door and opened. A Doctor and a nurse enter and greet Kinn.
“Good evening Khun Kinn”
“Good evening Dr. Top, how’s his condition today?”
“Khun Porsche condition is fine sir, the vitals is stable, his blood pressure and hear rate also good. You have nothing to worry about”
“Nothing to worry about?! He’s been in comma for 11 months?! And you told me not to worry?” Yelled Kinn, suddenly irritated by the answer given by the doctor.
“As you know Khun Kinn, Khun Porsche head injury was very serious, we did everything we could back then. You just have to be patient, and give Khun Porsche all the time his body needs to heal.”
“I know, I’m sorry, it’s been a long day and …..” he stoped his sentence.
Hearing the same answer everyday did not ease Kinn heart at all. His lover had been in vegetative state and nothing he could do to wake him up.
“I’ll let you know if there’s improvement on Khun Porsche condition, you can trust me. Now if you’ll excuse me.” The doctor and the nurser left the room, leaving Kinn and sleeping Porsche alone in the room.
Kinn suddenly felt very tired, he sat on the chair beside the bed and rub his temple.
He took Porsche’s cold hand and held it on his cheek.
“Porsche…. I’m sorry for raising my voice, I know how much you hate when I do that”
“It’s just… today been very difficult for me, the business deals went all wrong, the shipment all messed up, I have to deal everything personally by myself”
Kinn poured all his sorrow and sadness to his lover. At time like this he really needed his Porsche to comfort him. He told all his feeling and thought to sleeping Porsche.
Porsche was the only person the could trust, Kinn can be himself if he’s with Porsche. He was the happiest when he is with Porsche.
And a year ago Kinn had it all. Becoming youngest leader of the biggest crime organisation in Thailand with Porsche on his side, he could conquer everything.
But Kinn would trade and gave everything he have just for Posrche to wake up again. To open his eyes again and tell Kinn how much he loves him, Kinn would gladly give anything.
His hope of his lover to wake up was never gone, in fact it was the only thing that kept him sane. Kinn would visit Porsche at least once a day, to see him breathing, to see him alive. And that’s enough to give Kinn strength to went on with his life.
“Porsche, it’s been almost a year since you sleep, don’t you think it’s bit too long for you to leave me alone by myself? I miss you, please wake up”
Kinn said the same version of plea everyday, begging Porsche to wake up. Memory of that day came rushed to Kinn’s head. The day he and Porsche got into car accident and turned his world upside down.
