there was a perfect shade all over the rugby field of crimson moon and the students who had auditioned for the team and the cheer team were waiting for the results. a fight broke out a few minutes ago, and the vampire responsible, riki, was getting dragged on grass by his seatmate / best friend/ kiss buddy or something. sunoo who had rushed to the field because of a link from riki, watched the couple of their friends- jay and jungwon- flirt openly. he spotted the rugby team's captain, heeseung, and beside him was one of his closest friends, jake.
"they're finally dating?" sunoo stood beside jake while dragging riki by his wrist. the taller and the vampire beside him- heeseung- just chuckled. "what?" the black haired vampire asked, his little werewolf vampire underling rolled his eyes. "they're hiding it from us." riki said and sunoo pulled on his arm. "i don't think so." heeseung said and jake gasped, "hold on! you're jay's roommate, you should know!"
"i literally have no idea, maybe we should make them drink truth snowflake potion?" heeseung said, returning the wink from earlier to jake. the vampire's eyes widened and shook his head, ears and cheeks flushing red across his bloodless, pale, attractive face. "oh what now?!" sunoo screeched. something was so off about this matter.
"what?" heeseung asked coolly and sunoo narrowed his eyes; he darted suspicious looks at jake. "i know heeseung does potions, no one else that we talk to does that." he reasoned, "and i know heeseung is not the type to go around winking at people!" he added, trying to make out something from the scrap of information. sunoo's soul burned with curiosity and he believed he was smart enough to make sense of this situation.
he simply loved gossip, just like jungwon right there, enjoying being taken.
"they're fucking." riki said, he was sitting on the grass, yawning now and then. he was a sleepyhead after all. "okay but did you actually make jake drink truth snowflake?" sunoo was still screeching about the potion. jake was trying to stop him and heeseung was rolling his eyes so they were too busy to pay attention to jay and jungwon. riki scratched his head and decided to lay down. sunoo could get pretty crazy.
"no, no, no when did this happen?" sunoo asked and heeseung felt more than done with this conversation since jake looked like he could cry any moment now. "when we were stuck in the gym. we called you but you didn't pick up so it wasn't my fau-"
"you called? called me??" sunoo almost screamed and stared right at jake's trembling soul. "sunoo-" the boy was cut off by his captain, "you never called him, did you?" he asked calmly and jake looked at him with now tear brimmed eyes. his irises were glowing red, making the water in them look glittery, it looked innocent yet red; like an angel's blood.
"i didn't.." he admitted, "and i drank truth snowflake on my own!" he turned to sunoo and the witch vampire frowned. this was too much for heeseung so he looked back at jay and jungwon, "they're really into it." heeseung's attention was back on the couple. sunoo also looked that way. his friends were actually dating and not telling them? it was so rude. "who drank truth snowflake?" sunghoon's voice made jake and heeseung freeze, and sunoo look back.
"jake did." sunoo ratted out and jake almost hit the boy in his perfect face. "baby? you're crying?" sunghoon cooed and hugged jake tightly, heeseung was still looking away. "okay tell me everything." he said, and jake shook his head frantically. he was not ready for this. for the grand confession. the captain kept silent; so did sunoo. riki just didn't care, he preferred to take a nap.
"tell me. i have the right to know. you drank truth snowflake, and why is that causing so much ruckus?" sunghoon asked with his logical voice, unconsciously shaking his crying boyfriend. "leave him alone.." heeseung couldn't stand seeing the younger's tears. sunghoon's attention darted on the captain.
the dark brown haired boy just bit his lip from inside his mouth and looked back at sunghoon. park sunghoon, one of the hottest vampires he had ever laid his eyes on in his two hundred and whatever years of moon blessed life. he swore in his head, and before he knew jake had opened his mouth. his cheeks were wet but his red eyes didn't pour anymore. his lips were pink despite his pale expression.
"i drank truth snowflake when we were stuck in the gym. i confessed everything to heeseung."
"jake-"
"no, this is necessary." jake took a second and tried not to scream his words, "i told him we like him." with this, sunghoon's ears turned red and he huffed the air in his mouth he was holding for so long, since he was incapable of breathing. vampires didn't need to breathe, they just didn't do it, sometimes the vampires who used to be human once did it and others did it because it was very relaxing.
"you- told our crush- we have a crush on him and you did it alone?" sunghoon frowned. jake nodded shamefully, and waited for a worse reaction. the boy actually stepped in and gave jake a kiss, "babe! thank you! i know if it were up to me, i'd never confess." he said, the frown replaced with a huge smile now. heeseung's mouth was hung open and his canine teeth almost dropped from the shock.
"anddd that's a wrap, gays!" sunoo said and laughed loudly, watching as sunghoon looked at heeseung, holding his face by his chin with one hand, making the big and scary captain melt under the gaze of two attractive vampires. he turned to look at riki, but he was long gone. he turned his attention to jay and jungwon couple instead.
"they're definitely into it." sunoo sighed.
"yeah they're in their honeymoon phase." heeseung said with a small chuckle at the end.
"babe we never had a honeymoon phase.." jake whined and sunghoon rolled his eyes, "maybe if you weren't such a simp?!" sunghoon laughed and hugged his boyfriend, jake. "we can have a honeymoon, of three." he opened his arm and heeseung scoffed before hugging them.
