sunghoon and jake were roommates, and heeseung was their neighbor, who shared a room with jay, one of the two vampires' closest friend. heeseung was the rugby team captain and jay and jake played in the team. heeseung did potions and he once mentioned getting a magical object from sunoo for his potion.
riki was also in the team, and jungwon was in the cheerleading team, meaning they both interacted with heeseung as the captain more than ever.
how had heeseung not become one of them until now surprised jake. like the vampire was so lovely and friendly and he was especially close to their friends group so how come he had never joined them?
so jake made a plan to hold a hang out in his and sunghoon's dorm room, and invite heeseung too; the times they hung out at jay's, the roommate was rarely there. not that the other six vampires asked about his whereabouts.
jake felt bad it took him a crush and a love confession to realize how heeseung has to be one of them. he shared the plan with his boyfriend, sunghoon, who just kissed him for it. jake was used to the affection and physical type of showing love from sunghoon, and he thought it was super cute.
the hang out was settled and jake made sure they had almost every type of snack and drink and quick meals from the store so his special guest wouldn't be uncomfortable. he bought a few new games and by six p.m his bank account was screaming at him to stop despite him being more than well off.
"i'm so nervous!" he yelled before jumping on sunghoon who was on the couch. the younger groaned and cuddled the other to his chest. he started playing with jake's hair as he knew it calmed the boy down, "he's gonna be a blushy mess." he mumbled and jake sat up.
"right! you had lunch with him the other day, you only said he was cute. but you know he's also-"
"cool as fuck, yes i know baby." sunghoon rolled his eyes. jake felt so betrayed since sunghoon made a move on their crush without him, and practically took the gorgeous vampire on a small date, but he was the one who did the confession on his own, so he couldn't get mad.
the door to their dorm rang and jake almost stumbled while running to it. he opened the door with a cute smile only to face the pizza guy. his imaginary puppy ears flopped and he took the food, tossed it on the table and started eating.
sunghoon was laughing loudly but this time there was another knock. "my turn!" he whispered and ran to the door. after straightening his shirt he opened the door to sunoo, beside him was riki, both were dressed in black. "hi!" sunoo squeaked and with a sheepish smile he lifted his and riki's wrists.
"oh-"
"yes hyung i'm so surprised. this shouldn't have happened!" sunoo said, voice still pitchy. there was an odd looking cuff around their wrists, connecting them together. "we got cuffed by the magic cuffs!"
"i'm sure i've seen that object some-"
"i'm really sorry??? but me and riki are gonna go look for the keys! sorry can't hang out tonight! love ya!!" he said and pulled riki who just rolled his eyes and shook his head to sunghoon while the witch vampire wasn't looking.
it was an excuse.
sunghoon closed the door and went back on the couch, taking a slice. "they said-"
"yeah sunoo lied." jake said, voice dripping with disappointment. sunghoon frowned, he didn't want his boyfriend to be so sad. this time jungwon called jake.
"hyung!!! jay hyung's uncle is at the campus and he invited us for dinner at the steak house! we can't refuse, you guys have fun okay! love ya!" and the call was disconnected before jake could say anything.
"jay doesn't have relatives.." he whined and turned the tv off. "at this point i know heeseung won't come either. he doesn't hang out with us normally.." he said, turning to sunghoon with a pout. the silver haired vampire just kissed the boy's pout and chuckled, "so what? let's cheer up!"
"you sound like a girl group song." jake laughed and sunghoon stood up to do a girl group dance and shake his butt which made jake gasp for air.
pretty soon they were both doing dances and at some point they started filming themselves do the dances. "i'm so sweaty!" jake yelled and ran to the bathroom, he splashed some water on his face and arms, which got all over his clothes. sunghoon followed, which resulted in a water fight, and they both ended up laughing so much at each other they almost cried, but somehow it turned all romantic and sunghoon gave a few love bites to jake, who was more than happy to return them.
right when they were about to change their drenching clothes for some dry ones, the door got knocked on. their minds went blank and the only thing their shared brain cell could figure out was to super speed to the door regardless of how they looked.
the door was opened to a smiling, handsome bundle of a hot ass vampire named lee heeseung, he was even holding a blood champagne, it was 84% pure blood- jake read.
in contrary sunghoon and jake at the other side looked like a mess. hair everywhere, dripping wet clothes, a few love bites here and there around their necks.
"oh- welcome-!"
"i think i was mistaken about the date or tim-"
they pulled heeseung inside and took the bottle from him to keep it somewhere safe, then took his jacket from him to hang. they lead the vampire to the couch and pretty soon snacks and drinks were pushed in front of him by two handsome, freshly changed, completely dry vampires.
jake popped the champagne open and poured everyone a glass. "aren't you so fancy, heeseung?" sunghoon asked and smelled the drink. the captain chuckled and shook his head. "i've never been to your room so.."
"such manners.. why jay doesn't learn, i don't know." jake mumbled and heeseung laughed a bit. there was an awkward silence with all three of them sitting on the couch. the space was fit and the two boyfriends had sandwiched the oldest in between them.
"so hee-"
"so jake. where are others?" the boy cut jake off and the boy blushed in embarrassment. heeseung seemed to be unhappy; or rather, nervous. "they all bailed out on us." sunghoon answered instead before taking a sip of his drink.
"oh." heeseung replied simply and sipped his drink to follow sunghoon. the sweet taste of blood tickled his lips. he looked at jake for a few seconds. the boy was picking a game to play. flashbacks of the day at the gym with him never left his mind. the vampire asked to kiss him before he kisses his boyfriend.
he promised.
so he looked at sunghoon. he had told everything to the boy at the lunch. right or wrong, heeseung felt lighter and more comfortable around the silver haired boy now. sunghoon just nodded and heeseung turned back to jake.
"jake?" he asked and right when the younger turned to look at him, he leaned in and connected their lips, but he did it slowly not to scare off jake. he knew the boy was used to surprise kisses.
sunghoon's surprise kiss was even more shocking than the kiss he was recieving right now. jake was sweet, his scent was almost floral and his lips were extremely soft. the taste of champagne mixed in the kiss, and however short lived, it was a memory that got engraved behind jake's mind.
"i kissed you first, just as promised." heeseung said with a smile and jake took a few seconds to process before cracking up the prettiest smile the oldest had ever seen. but he didn't have much time to admire the smile on the boy as the other boy pulled his face towards him and also gave heeseung a kiss.
it was a deal. the kiss was the permission. heeseung had kissed jake first to declare he was ready for this. for sudden kisses, affectionate cuddles and an amazing but not perfect relationship. jake blushed at the scene of his boyfriend kissing their crush and ended up yelling when sunghoon tried licking the older's lips.
a few more kisses were exchanged during the night, but no one asked the silver question. moon light was shining in the room and it made the place even more comforting for heeseung. beside two of the loveliest vampires who had decided to include him in their cute journey of being lovers for who knows how long.
so he popped the question himself; "jake and sunghoon, will you be my boyfriends?" and the answer was as clear as the moon ray, once again.
