Work Text:
It had been a very very long day, and Zim was getting annoyed with the stinking human.
“You and your human morality!” He snapped as they returned to the base.
“They were kids Zim! Kids ! I’m not blowing up a bunch of Better Living Trucks that are being driven by Hi Skool kids”
“They only hired those pig-larva because they knew you wouldn’t blow them up!” Zim opened the door to the service-station-turned-base and stomped through to the kitchenette area. He grabbed one of the fruity bottled cocktails that were set aside in the “Zim” cabinet. Honestly, there was no need to put them aside. No one else could stand the surgery, artificial fruit flavor of those drinks. “They are learning your weaknesses! And your weaknesses are our weaknesses, almighty Tallest Dib!” He shouted the last part sarcastically, taking a sip from the surgery cocktail.
“It’s not a weakness, you fucking ghoul!” Dib hissed at him, taking the bottle away. “It’s ethics ! We have to draw the line or else we’re no better than they are!”
“Why do we have to be better! Humans are not as innocent as you think!” Zim snatched his bottle back. “Your ethics are so gooey and sweet they make even ZIM SICK!”
“Could you two take your foreplay into your own room? I’m trying to do something important.”
Zim and Dib both glared at Gaz from her position in front of the TV.
“You’re playing Mortal Kombat with Gir!” Dib snapped. “And stop making it sound like everything Zim and I do leads to sex!”
“Doesn’t it?” Gaz said without looking up. “And he’s been winning since you two came in!”
Gir was lit up red in concentration. “Yes! Taste the feet of my teleporting power!” He grinned wide, turning blue again as he triggered his special move. “Woo! I just ate your face!”
Gaz turned on Zim and Dib with an angry glare that could chill the blood. “HE'S JUST PUSHING BUTTONS! He only knows two moves!!”
“How is it our fault-“
“GET OUT!”
Zim huffed grabbing Dib by the shirt and pulling him to their room to continue their fight, lying to himself that he was leaving because Gaz was annoying them and not because he was nervous that she might emulate moves from her game on him. Dib followed with no such pretense, slamming the door as they crossed into the bedroom.
“You know Zim, sometimes you can be so great and sweet and wonderful and then I wake up and you’re back to being a fucking psychopath!” Dib glared at Zim, both easily picking up the argument where they left off.
“That’s funny, Earth-smell!” Zim’s PAK legs emerged, elevating him enough to be a little taller than Dib so he could glare down at him. “Because you often fool me into thinking you are a competent, intelligent being before turning around and reminding Zim that you are a soft, squishy, whining earth-pig with a giant head of fluff and smell! WITH NO BRAINS!!”
Dib shoved Zim hard enough to knock him off balance. “STOP MAKING FUN OF MY HEAD, SPACE BUG!”
Zim managed to catch his balance, retracting his PAK legs and shoving Dib back. “THEN STOP HAVING SUCH A GIANT HEAD, DIB-SHIT!”
Dib glared at him. “You jerk!”
“Stink!”
Dib’s fist came out of nowhere, connecting hard with Zim’s jaw and knocking him off balance again. He fell back against the wall but quickly bounced back, aiming a fist at Dib and punching him hard in the nose.
And so the fight began in earnest, both too evenly matched to have the upper hand for too long. This was more common than either of them really liked to admit and was exactly why they couldn’t keep anything breakable in their room. As it was, the surgery cocktail bottle didn’t last long before Zim grabbed it and threw it at Dib, just missing his giant head. The drywall was already dented and stained from previous brawls to the point that they’d finally installed metal plates in the wall to save themselves from having to keep repairing the holes.
Although the fights were semi-frequent and always rough, they were rarely long. They had been fighting for a few minutes before Dib finally got Zim pinned against the wall, one hand on his right bicep and the other holding Zim’s left wrist. They were both sweaty, bruises already starting to form. Zim was desperately trying to swipe at Dib’s face with his free forearm. Somehow he’d lost his glove in the fight, exposing his sharp, claw-like nails. He managed to grab a fistful of Dib’s hair and pulled as hard as he could. Dib gasped from the pain, turning his face and biting the sensitive skin of Zim’s wrist, making him yelp.
Dib’s golden brown eyes locked with the magenta orbs of the ex-invader.
And that’s all it took.
It was on .
A devilish grin spread across Dib’s face, making Zim spooch pulse. “Oh, you are toast, space boy.” Dib had both of Zim’s wrists pinned above his head now.
Zim’s antenna twitched, a smirk spreading across his face as well. “Am I?” He pulled his legs up and kicked Dib hard in the chest, knocking him back on his ass. Zim was on him in a second. Straddling his chest and pinning his arms down now before leaning down to kiss him hungrily, parting Dib’s lips with his own for his long corrugated tongue to slip into the human’s mouth. Dib moaned, returning the deep kiss, straining against Zim’s grip.
One sharp PAK limb slipped from behind Zim, sliding between them and under the hem of Dib’s shirt.
“Mm… ‘oh ’ip ma’ ’irt!”
“What?” Zim broke the kiss to hear what Dib was trying to say, running his tongue around behind Dib’s ear pulling at his ear lobe with his teeth.
“Ahh.. don’t rip my shirt again!” Dib’s request was followed by a soft sigh as he felt what Zim was doing to his ear.
Zim sat up a bit looking at him and raising a non-existent eyebrow. “Seriously?” Leave it to Dib to worry about his clothes at a time like this .
“I only have two other shirts still intact.” Dib said, innocently.
Zim scoffed. “You’re really thinking about that right- wait! WHAT!” The moment Zim loosened his grip Dib broke free, flipping Zim onto his back and sitting on his chest, looking down at him with an evil smirk.
“No. I was thinking about this.” He grabbed Zim’s still gloved hand and pulled it down to his side, trapping it under his knee, then catching his other hand.
“Oh, you reached, troublesome, Di- ahh…” Zim broke off as Dib ran his tongue up over his hand, lightly kissing the thin patch of skin connecting the base of his two fingers.
He tucked Zim’s hand under his knee as well to take off his shirt, drawing out a soft chipping-purr from Zim. Dib wasn’t exactly muscular. He was stronger than he looked, Zim knew, but he was skinny. With his pale skin, not-perfectly-defined muscles, and his chest covered in the still healing scraps from the last time they had been alone together. Zim’s tongue slid over his own lips, hungry to get his mouth on that sweaty body. He could smell the sex hormones coming off of his human and it made his antenna twitch slightly before standing erect over his head to pick up more of that delicious sent.
Dib smirked, running his finger lightly over one of the sensitive appendages, sending shivers down Zim’s spine. Dib released Zim’s other hand for a moment to pull off his other glove, brushing his lips against his wrist and licking over the length of his palm, before wrapping his mouth around one sharp finger like a melting popsicle. The thought briefly crossed Zim’s mind that he could get Dib off of him with a quick hit to the groin, but at this point injuring Dib mating orgen seemed… counterproductive. Besides, that would mean interrupting Dib from sucking on his fingers. And Zim was sure that his body would somehow rebelled against him forever if… that had to stop. Dib lifted his hips slightly so that he could pull Zim’s tunic up. He had to wait just a moment for Zim to detach his PAK to completely remove the tunic, the PAK immediately reattaching once Zim was free of his garment. Once he was topless, Dib pulled Zim’s arms back under his knees to hold him down.
Dib leaned down and kissed him again, intertwining their tongues again with a soft moan. Zim’s tentacle slid out between his legs, pushing a bit against the fabric of his pants. He could feel something similar going on in Dibs pants on his chest as well. Zim gave an evil chuckle that made Dib break the kiss to look at him.
“You’ll have to let me up to get my pants off.” He smirked, already planning his move to get the upper hand back.
“Oh yeah?“ Dib was also smirking. He leaned over Zim, his knees digging into Zim’s hands as he hovered over Zim’s face, a hand on each side of Zim’s head. “You really want to bet on that? Space-boy?”
Zim was blushing a fierce shade of blue. Ooh Dib knew what he was doing to him and he hated how much he loved it. Hovering over him like that… he looked so powerful. So tall. That annoying scythe hair hovering down over his face, almost like a knife above Zim’s head. Like the human’s proverbial “sword of Damocles.”
“ Fuck!”
Dib had moved fast while Zim was distracted, pulling him off the floor, turning him around, and bending him over. Zim’s pants were around his ankles and he was on his back again before he could get his bearings back.
“Your ass is mine, space-boy.” Dib grinned, hovering over Zim and running his tongue up his neck. Dib had both of Zim’s wrists in one of his much larger hands, holding him down as he found the rope that was still tied to the bed from the last time. He wrapped the rope around Zim’s wrists and once between to make sure that he was securely tied. Zim tugged against the ropes but that was more for appearances than to actually escape. If Zim had learned anything from being mated with Dib, it was that surrendering often resulted in a much greater victory. Besides… Zim didn’t necessarily need his hands to take back control.
Dib kissed along Zim’s neck, pulling at his skin with his teeth. Zim moaned softly then gasped when Dib bit down hard on his neck. Zim’s tentacle jerked up involuntarily, almost reaching out for the human. Dib chuckled darkly, running his hands down Zim’s body. “You like that, bug?” He hissed against his skin.
To this, Zim rolled his eyes. “Don’t ruin it with your sloppy porn-talk, Earth-smell.” Zim looked down at Dib’s face. “Now are you going to do anything down there or should I take care of it myself?” As he spoke, Zim’s tentacle snaked back between his legs, tracing over the opening of his breeding tube.
Dib looked down between Zim’s legs, watching for a moment. Zim could see his flush deepen as he pressed the tentacle into his opening and moaned softly. The self penetration felt good, but the best part was watching Dib’s face. The Human had no idea what that look was doing to Zim. That look of wonder and arousal at how Zim was able to pleasure himself hands-free.
Oh, my Tallest…. Zim wanted to grab him and kiss him until his tongue went numb.
The squeak of the head rest as his arms were snapped back to their confinement brought them back to the present moment.
Dib pulled Zim’s tentacle back out of him, pumping it a few times before turning his attention to his opening. “I don’t know.” Dib said, sliding one finger into Zim, nice and slow, making him shudder. “So impatient… and you’ve been such a little shit all day…” Dib frowned thoughtfully, pushing a second finger without warning. “I don’t know if I should do anything nice for you.”
Zim closed his eyes and moaned softly. “Dib…” he moaned, wrapping his legs around him.
“Now you're trying to escape?” Dib shook his head, pressing a third finger in and making Zim tremble a little, tugging at his restraints. He felt Dib move his fingers into him pressing a little deeper and rubbing against that spot.
“Ahh!” Zim whined pathetically. His body started to act on instinct as his brain meats seemed to be shutting down. His legs spread wider for Dib and he pushed his body down onto his fingers. His tentacle retracted as his attention was focused less on breeding and more on being bred.
“Look at me,” Dib’s voice was soft and low, but the dominance of the command was impossible to resist. Zim opened his large magenta eyes and again locked them with the gaze of his human. There was a slight edge to Dib that told Zim he was still mad about their fight. The adrenaline was still pumping, just the blood was rushing to a different location. Zim made a soft chirp sound, like an insect mating call.
“My tallest…” he moaned hungrily, struggling to keep his eyes open and locked on his human. In the peripheral of his attention he heard Dib undoing his belt and pants.
Dibs mouth twitched a little, wanting to smile at what Zim had called him. “What do you want your tallest to do, space-bug?”
Zim shuddered a little. “Fuck Zim.”
“What?” Dib pulled his hand away, making Zim whine softly as he was left empty.
When did the Dib become so good at just oozing dominance? “Fuck Zim, please… My Tallest,” he whispered. Zim would make him pay for making him beg… but… that could wait.
Dib lined himself up with Zim’s opening and pushed in forcefully, making Zim hiss softly from the pain, closing his eyes again.
“Look at me.”
Zim managed to open his eyes and look at Dib again. He started moving slowly, holding eye contact with Zim. He put a hand on Zim’s green cheek and leaned down to kiss him deeply, making Zim moan low. Dib ran his hand up over Zim’s face, lightly pinching at his antenna. Zim moaned and wrapped his legs around Dib, gasping as he felt him go even deeper.
As Zim’s body started to adjust to Dib’s size, the human started going faster and soon he was slamming into Zim and hitting his spot each time. Zim wanted so badly to hold dib again. He tugged at the rope starting to work at it with his sharp nails. Luckily, Dib also had a position shift in mind. Without stopping his thrusting he reached up and loosened the knot holding Zim, pulling him loose and sitting up with Zim now on his lap.
“Ahh, Dib!” Zim called out again, wrapping his arms around Dib as he started to ride him in movement with his thrusts. Zim grabbed a fistful of Dib’s hair, the other hand running down to dig into his back.
“Zim!” Dib was getting close now, both of them were, and a moment later, Zim was shrieking Dibs name and clawing into his back as his whole body tensed up. He could feel Dib releasing into him, a slight metallic scent filling the air as Zim could smell Dib’s blood.
Once it was over Zim collapsed against Dib, holding him close as they both tried to catch their breath. Dib laid back and ran his hand up Zim’s back, kissing his neck. “At least we made it to the bed this time.” He kissed along the side of his head. “You know, Gaz said she’s going to start sound proofing our room.”
“You’re thinking about your sister now?” Zim mumbled against his chest.
“Thinking about how loud you get, space bug.” Dib said, flicking his antenna lightly.
Zim smiled and closed his eyes with a soft purr. “Speaking of the Gaz-human, we’ll need to have a team meeting soon. We will need a new plan for dealing with the happy-juice humans that doesn’t involve their new pig-larva drivers.” It was the closest thing to an apology for his part of their fight, and Dib knew that.
Dib remained silent and stroked his fingers over Zim’s head lightly, making him wince a little when he brushed against a bruise that was forming from where Dib had punched him earlier. He heard Dib sigh and opened his eyes to look at him again. “What? Gaz can just turns up the volume on her game if it bothers her so much . Technically this was all her idea in the first-”
Dib shook his head. “Not that…” he sighed again. “We just… we’ve gotta find a better way of communicating or something. Or at least figure out how to manage our fights better…”
”Eh?” Zim looked up at his human, antennae perked up over his head.
Dib sighed. “We’ve been fighting more since we’ve been together than we were when we were enemies. It seems like we’re at each other’s throats every other day. Doesn’t that bother you?” Dib put his hand on Zim’s face. Looking at Dib, Zim noticed the bruises on his face again from where he’d hit Dib earlier. “I don’t want to hurt you, Zim. But we always go through the same thing. We argue, we get mad, we get mean, we fight, we beat the hell out of each other-“
“We have the sex and then we talk about it once we’ve calmed down.” Zim propped himself up more to look at him. “Why should that bother me?”
Dib scoffed. “The fighting doesn’t bother you? It’s not exactly how normal healthy couples work, Zim.”
“But we’re not a normal human couple, Dib-stink.” Zim ran a clawed finger through Dibs hair. “My love-feelings for you developed in battle. And Zim is not human. Irkens may not form mating relationships anymore, but we still prefer those who are strong. Humans may be squishy talkative monkeys, Irkens are a warrior race built for conquest.” Zim shrugged, looking at Dib and tracing his claw lightly over his face. “We are together day and night, more than we ever have been before. We are working towards a goal that we are approaching very differently. We argue. We get angry. We fight until we fuck and calm down. Then we talk and we come to an agreement.” He leaned up and kissed him deeply. “For the first ever human-Irken cross species pairing, I think it works very well.”
Dib smiled slightly but still looked bothered. “I just don’t like hurting you, Zim.”
Zim pulled himself up, smirking at Dib as he moved to straddle him again. “You cannot hurt Zim, human .” He ran his claws down over Dib’s chest over the scratches that were already there. “But how do you feel about Zim hurting you?” A slight flush creeped over Dib’s face, and his mouth twitched into a smile. Zim leaned down, the tip of his tongue tracing over a bite mark on Dib’s neck. “As I suspected.” He moved over to kiss dibs lips again, running his hands over his arms and pulling them above his head as a robotic arm emerged slowly and silently from his PAK. “There is no problem.”
Dib yelped and looked up as his wrists were caught and held firmly in place by the robot arm. “What-?”
“Did you think we were done already?” Zim pulled at Dib’s lip with his teeth. “You can’t make Zim beg and get away with it. You should know that by now.”
Dib moaned softly. “Mm… but you’re so cute when you beg…”
“Be silent, Earth-monkey.”
Dib smirked. “Make me.”
