Work Text:
For the hundredth time, Loid Forger sighed deeply once again while massaging his aching temples.
It became a habit of his for the past few days and it was not because of his endless missions that WISE assigned to him aside from focusing on Operation Strix.
How he wished that it was all about the job.
Or maybe, it was really a part of the job because any threats to his fake family would be a threat to the whole world that was why any tiny detail he observed about his girls would alarm him. He certainly did not want anything to ruin his mission.
And that includes Yor Briar Forger having a secret affair.
Yes, it was a marriage of convenience between Loid and Yor but it was like an unspoken rule to respect the marriage. Being involved with someone else should not be a bother because there was no love in their marriage but for Loid, having a secret affair would definitely harm Operation Strix.
He just could not stop from thinking the possibilities that someone might find out about Yor's business outside their marriage and if this happened, consider his mission as a failure.
Agent Twilight would never let that happen.
He would protect his fake family to ensure the success of the mission and this assurance he needed the most would include hunting for the man his wife was seeing.
Loid never saw her with a man. If there was a man whom she let inside her world, it was just Yuri. Now, he can add himself to the list either.
He groaned to himself when he got distracted from the noise Anya made who was busy from watching Spy Wars. The little kid was so focused on the television with her pet, Bond, that was why they did not notice the struggle of the man of the house.
Loid Forger's brain exploded already just by the thought of Yor having an affair.
How he was able to deduce the information?
While he was relaxing on his seat, he gave Yor a quick glance who was humming an unknown tune while cleaning the kitchen. He could tell already that she was blooming like a fresh flower at spring, her rosy cheeks complemented with her lively irises. She had that glow that was not there before and Loid's mind calculated all the possible causes of the change in her aura.
The twinkle in the eyes could not be faked as well as the genuine smile on her face. Not that Loid hated the idea of her being happy and glowing but he was furious that someone was probably making her happy and that someone was not him who happened to be her husband on paper.
Loid's suspicions just grew and grew. At first, he was just denying it because what was wrong if the woman wanted to be beautiful and confident? If she wanted to dress nicely and try some colors to put on her face to give some light touch, she was free to do it.
It was not Loid's business.
There was also this one time where he noticed that she changed her perfume. She walked passed by him and his nostrils detected the aroma that he never smelled before. It was so addicting and he got to admit that the perfume suited her the most.
He cannot get enough.
One lucky bastard, he hummed to himself as the realization of the concept of a happy woman in a love bubble dawned at him.
She gained the confidence of trying new outfits, Loid noticed that, and she was wearing it when she was claiming an overtime work in the city hall or whenever she was spending time with her friends who happened to be her mean colleagues but Loid did not stop her from that.
He even cursed himself when the sudden thought of the delivered box from the tailor shop gave him nightmares. For some reason, he became nosy, his reason was about ensuring the safety of the family, so he opened the box.
Loid lost his mind upon seeing what was inside the box.
A damn red sexy lingerie.
May Loid rest in peace when his naughty side fed him with images of Yor in sexy lingerie.
All the signs were pointing at a conclusion of having an affair. She was coming home late often that sometimes, he needed to pretend that he was asleep already just to avoid making excuses of him waiting for her to go home.
As usual, she was dressed nicely, the aroma was dancing with the wind, the glow in her eyes and smile could not be hidden.
Definitely, an affair.
Twilight had so much missions under his sleeves and as a person who saw the transition of night to day for numerous times, he knew an affair when he smelled one.
How his hands were so itchy to pull the trigger once he identified the lover.
The information clouded his mind to the point that he could not focus on his missions anymore. He would just end up formulating ways on how to stalk his wife so he would gain more details about the secret man he wanted to erase from the earth.
"So basically, you are just a jealous bastard." Franky did not even try to make his words beautiful for Twilight to hear.
The tobacco store was generally quiet where the spy could talk with his informant away from all the noises of the people around. He was starting to regret that he opened up to Franky about his marital concerns and now, the curly guy was being a goof.
"I could smell those cigarettes. We don't want your fake family to smell you, do you? I thought you already stopped. What's with the sudden change? I didn't realize that your hot wife can give you this kind of stress."
"Shut up, Franky." Loid groaned without opening his eyes. He was still digesting all the details about his wife and the idea of having an affair was giving him the urge to vomit.
"Just so you know, I'm not going to dig details about your wife. I warned you before to not get attached with that family of yours. We can't trust anyone but ourselves. It will cost our lives."
"You think, I didn't know that?"
"I just thought that I need to rub it on your face. Your marriage is platonic. It is just on paper. Why are you sulking about your wife having an affair?"
"Because it will harm the mission." Loid murmured under his breath and gave Franky a side eye. "If someone learns about her business, what would other people say about the Forgers?"
"Is she not hiding the affair enough? What makes you think that she is having an affair?"
"I just know."
Franky raised an eyebrow. There was a lot going on and if he was not friends with Twilight for long years now, he would believe him. Obviously, the perfect spy was oblivious and Franky was aware of that. Twilight always knew how to act but for this scenario, he lost all his brain cells so his judgment was cloudy.
Twilight was generous enough to spill little details, those that were wholesome enough for a friend to hear. The perfume, the outfits, her confident self, those were just some of his observations and in Franky's opinion, there was nothing wrong with that.
"Just admit that you are jealous because someone is making your wife happy and that someone is not you."
"Who said that I'm jealous?"
"You're not?"
"I'm not."
Franky scoffed as a smirk escaped from his lips, "Then why are you planning to murder the lover if you can just confront Yor about your suspicions? If the marriage is nothing, why ruin her happiness? Why would you murder the man? It won't harm if you're going to talk to your wife about it. Just tell her about what you think and the possible consequences."
"I should not be prying on her business, you know. We are free to do whatever thing we want to do."
"You just told me that it might harm your family and now, you're telling me to leave her alone? I don't get you, Loid Forger."
"So you're not going to help me." Loid whispered in his low tune when he faced his friend. "How much do you want?"
"You know my price." Franky answered immediately, that greedy smile annoyed Loid even more. "But I honestly think that there is no affair. You are just overthinking. You are just starting to feel—"
"How many times do I need to tell you that I throw all the emotions away—"
"And everything is just for the sake of the mission yada yada yada. Don't give me that speech, old friend." Franky complained. "Just go home and talk to your wife. Seduce her or something."
"Seduce her?" Loid reacted, not liking the tone of the conversation.
"Yeah!" Franky replied casually as if seducing a wife was a normal thing. It might be but Loid has so much respect for Yor and Franky was aware of that. "Get her attention or something. Ask her on a date. Make her feel that she has a family and she is special. Show her that you value her even though everything is just a ruse. Walk around the house naked—"
"I have a kid."
"Then I'll take the kid on a field trip. Easy."
Loid and Franky exchanged a strong eye connection, fighting using their irises. If only they were not in public, Loid already tortured the useful informant for suggesting things that could actually help.
"You're not seriously considering being naked around the house, are you?" Franky chuckled with the intention of teasing the already blushing man. "You're a jealous husband. Go home and make your wife happy. In what context? I'll leave that to you. You're just losing your focus. Believe me, there is no affair."
Loid could not help but to pace back and forth inside his quiet bedroom.
Anya was under Franky's care, the promised ooting the uncle did to his fake niece, or it was just better to say that it was an agreement between Franky and Loid so the anxious husband could make a move to confront his wife about his concerns.
The humble home was peaceful since Bond was with Anya too and the home would be child-and-dog-free until tomorrow so Loid could not find the air he needed to breath. It was like Twilight and Loid were having a crucial debate about the perfect thing to do and from the situation, the fine line between the spy and the psychologist was already blurry.
If proven that an affair was being a threat to the fake marriage and to the mission, all Twilight wanted to do was to eliminate the threat so the Operation Strix will not be compromised. All for the mission, even it was about her happiness, Twilight needed to make sure that everything was in order.
However, for Loid, there was an undescribable pain in his chest just by thinking about the unproven affair. He hated the idea that he did not trust Yor enough to respect the marriage and put a nice image of a family for the public eye to believe in.
It was something he could not understand and if he was just opening his eyes, he would know that he felt threatened and he was harboring special feelings for his wife even it was against the law as long as his true self was concerned.
He made himself believe that his valid concern was just right for the mission and nothing else. He found himself conflicted to stalk his wife and Franky also turned down the offer of searching for something to prove Loid's baseless accusations.
Loid was left with no choice.
If he wanted to ensure the success of his precious mission, he would really love to confront Yor about his suspicions. Having an affair was not acceptable and he could not digest the idea of it ruining a good relationship of a fake family despite the agreement that they would stay as family but leaving romance out of the equation.
And for whatever its worth, Loid Forger went out of his room topless with only a black towel hanging on his right shoulder to somehow cover his skin.
He circled around the living room, watching from the windows just to distract himself because Yor was just in the kitchen, preparing a tea for herself and a decaf coffee for her husband. Loid was well-aware of the effect his skin could give to Yor but somehow, it was backfiring on him because he could feel the sweat coming out of his glands.
Why did I listen to Franky?
Good thing that Loid did not go all out, walking inside the home naked or maybe, it was the better option but Loid did not want to cross the line. He had so much respect for her feelings and he knew that the aggressive gesture would offend her and worse, she will feel the harrassment due to such actions and it might just end up for him being reported to the police.
His temples were starting to ache and as stated, his whole plan was backfiring on him because suddenly, he wanted to back out. Suddenly, he was not interested to know the truth and he cursed himself for being a coward to hear the story if ever she was having an affair.
So what if she found herself a lover? He told himself that it was not his business at all.
There were these tangled heartstrings inside his chest and he could not pinpoint to why his cardiac muscle was acting so weirdly. He successfully infiltrated a group of terrorists and stopped a nuclear bomb the last second but why this feeling inside his chest was not familiar at all if his nervousness was related to his precious life?
He just groaned to himself after closing his eyes and massaged his temples to somehow lessen the aching.
Little by little, he was starting to absorb that Operation Strix was the hardest mission he worked on and he was not talking about Desmond or whatever plan the government of the East was up to.
It was about his fake family, of course. He was just in denial. He witnessed Anya's growth with his own eyes and he was, indeed, a very proud father. He saw how Yor was the best mother either not to mention, the best wife.
The very reason to why he was so conflicted right now.
"Loid?"
It was like he was caught in a dangerous situation where the enemies would take his life without mercy but it was just Yor who called his name multiple times already but he just noticed it now when she was already near him, concerned to why he spaced out.
"Loid? Are you okay? You looked pale."
"I am uh," He closed his eyes tightly again and shook his head. She remained looking at him until he met her gaze but he just broke the connection and gestured in the air but no words could explain the action. "I'm fine, Yor. Just..."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." He lied and she was aware of that.
As expected, even she was hesitating to intrude his own thoughts, she did not let it go. She walked closer and he got frozen on his spot when Yor stood in front of him and her warm palms touched his neck, checking if he got a fever. While her left hand remained on his neck, her other one switched to his forehead but she detected nothing.
"I'm fine..." He whispered, his voice was raspy and low, as his hands jailed her warm ones so it was now her turn to freeze especially when her hand that was on his forehead was now on his cheek because he wanted to feel her warmth there. "See? Fine."
"But you were in a deep thought. I got worried."
Something struck his chest again. Her concerned eyes did not left his gaze and even her heart was pounding loud and fast due to the close connection with their skins touching, she did not fail to express her concern for her husband.
His breathings got heavier especially when his eyes landed on her partly open lips. It was so kissable. It looked so soft and delicious. He deduced that it was sweet and addictive and having a taste of her touch on his skin made him crazy at the sudden thought of unsolicited lust and desire that were burning inside his veins.
Her lips.
Her lips...
He can't seem to remove his gaze until it crawled down to her neck.
Her neck.
Her neck which was so exposed for him to suck and kiss as if the vampire blood was rushing inside of him. He was so tempted to leave a mark so people would know that she was already taken. How he loved to make it a reality for the lover to see so he would back away and if not, Loid would be honored to make him back away.
He would going to protect her whatever it takes.
For what reason? Because she was a good person, a great Mama to Anya.
Perhaps.
"Loid?"
"Oh uhm," Loid detached himself from her and avoided her stares. He even wiped his face out of frustration and took a step away as he muttered, "is there a coffee?"
"Uhm," Yor tiptoed and her eyes followed her husband who walked towards the kitchen to help himself, her nails were scratching each other. "yes, I already poured some in your cup."
She saw that he nodded as a response but his broad back was the one she was seeing and to be honest, his body language was not giving her any clues. She can't help but to think that maybe, she did something wrong that was why he was so frustrated and stressed. She was thinking that maybe, she was not being a good mother to Anya and a wife to him.
Despite everything being a ruse, she gave her whole self to the act and treated Anya like her own blood. For Loid, she gave her all either to be the best wife even it was just on paper.
However, his actions were not giving her the positive feedback for her sacrifices.
She just sighed deeply before she followed Loid in the kitchen who was acting like a drunk man but the poison of his choice was caffeine.
Yor was aware that he was not okay. A situation that his body could express even his words failed him.
"Loid?" She did not know why but muttering his name could somehow give comfort.
He heard it very well but he chose not to respond and instead, he pursued drinking his coffee while his eyes were staring at the kitchen wall. He could face the other way to see the living room but no, he was too tired to bring his coffee to somewhere else.
From his peripheral view, he knew that Yor was still scratching her own nails. She was nervous and that alone made him want to punch himself for acting like a terrible gentleman. He should be an expert in reading body language but for Yor, she was a riddle he could not answer.
He put the coffee cup on the counter as well as his towel and sighed deeply when his palms touched the cold table. There was a lot running inside his mind but why he can't identify a single one that was bombarding his head?
Yor and his effect on him.
She chose not to speak anymore because obviously, the man was having a hard time to gather himself together but she refused to leave him in that state. However, she did not need to decide for herself because he already walked towards her and placed his forehead on her shoulder that surprised her.
He did not touch her. He did not ate all the space in between them. It was just his forehead that sought for her comfort. He found himself closing his eyes since her aroma, even it was so faint for him to enjoy, could calm him without even trying.
Suddenly, Twilight and Loid were having a huge debate and Loid was definitely winning. Twilight was the best spy but he found his weakness — Loid's wife.
Yor did not hesitate anymore so even he was topless and she knew that she will have the honor of touching him without a barrier to separate their skins, she brushed the thought away and hugged him closer. Instead on the shoulders, her arms chose to come from his behind so she was now clinging to his shoulders and sometimes, her palms were roaming on his upper back to cradle him.
"You could hug me too, you know." She whispered. "Only if you want. Of course."
She did not need to wait longer and think what his response would be because she already felt his arms wrapping around her frame, hugging her closer and tighter as if he would never let her go. His touches reached her sideframe, his right hand on her right side and his left one on her left frame, instead of stopping on the peek of skin her clothes could offer. It was so comforting, a taste of safe haven, and no one wanted to break that connection they both assumed would never happen.
"Is there someone else?" His voice came out like a whisper, a crack in his tone was evident.
"What?" She muttered in utter confusion as supported by her knitted eyebrows. Her hands also gave a gentle grip on his shoulders.
"I want you to be honest with me, Yor."
For some reason, the whole room was engulfed by silence, only the beating of the chests offered the sound of nervousness and anxiety for facing the real status of their relationship.
"What are you saying, Loid?"
His eyes closed tightly once again as he fought the emerging heat in his chest that he should not be feeling because as a spy, he was trained to detect danger and maybe, this feeling was a some kind of danger and funny how he was embracing it even the possible truth was capable to hurt him and only God knows that he was so willing to get hurt if it meant that he could protect his family.
He inhaled sharply to calm himself and whispered, "Please, be honest with me, Yor. I know that what we have is just a ruse, a mask to support the conveniences this marriage could offer. But you know, Yor," He cleared his throat softly. "I'm sorry if I'm not capable to give what you truly wanted, that there is someone out there who could make you happy. I'm sorry if you need to hide it. I'm sorry if Anya and I are stopping you to follow what your heart desires. This is the time, Yor. This is the time to tell me what you really want in this life and I would be more than happy to grant it for you."
In his troubled mind, what happened to the plan of murdering the lover? What happened to the grudge for the lover who caught her precious attention? Why he ended up saying to her that he would give her what she desires and by judging his tone, he was not giving a good fight to keep his wife?
Yor's heart doubled its pace and she can't seem to absorb the possibility that Loid already knew that she was an assassin and he was using the silence for her to give in and surrender rather than spoiling the fun for her.
What she did, she detached from the embrace and cupped his cheeks so she could examine his blank but intense eyes. He was not giving a clue and she hated the idea that she could not read what was in his mind because those irises of his were too gentle for her to stare at despite the absence of soul.
If ever he already knew the truth, she was sure that he would understand especially that she only chose the job to protect her loved ones and if he was on her shoes, he would definitely do the same thing too. She was nervous and scared but something in her wanted to tell him everything because she grew trust in him.
She was going to speak but he did it first.
"Is there someone else?" He asked the same question again, his gentle eyes never left hers. "Is there someone else, Yor?"
The question startled her. She just could not understand to why he ended up asking that particular question. Was that the reason to why he was acting strangely? She had lots of questions but apparently, she did not know how to welcome such thoughts.
He understood her silence. He also noticed to how she could not meet his eyes because maybe, he hit the bullseye. Whatever her business, it might not concern him but of course, for the sake of the family and the mission, somehow, Loid wanted the assurance.
"I understand." He nodded gently. "I understand, Yor."
She caught the disappointment in his tone. Yor was not certain to what kind of emotion he just expressed but she knew that he was not ecstatic to what he had deduced.
Who would be ecstatic for such conclusions? Yor got confused. She got confused because his mind fed him with wrong information. To how he came out with those conclusions? She had no idea.
"Loid..." She muttered his name but he already walked away so she did not hesitate to follow him. "Loid."
"What is it, Yor?" He turned around instead of going to his room as he noticed that the intensity of his voice got her frightened so he sighed deeply while massaging his temples and looked at her. "I'm sorry..."
She did not speak. She remained staring at him, waiting for him to give more details about the situation they were in.
"Look, it's not my business, okay? When we agreed to marry each other, it was clearly for our own convenience. Nothing else."
Yor did not buy it so she remained quiet that got Loid even more frustrated. The fire in his eyes burned so when he walked closer, the tendency was for her to take a step back until her back touched the nearest wall and she was now jailed under his presence, their faces were so close to each other that only a gentle push from the wind could bring them together.
"Is there someone else, Yor?" He muttered again as his eyes examined her facial features and she was too stunned to do the same but her irises got glued at his eyes. "Look at me and tell me the truth."
She gulped the lump in her throat and shook her head.
"Don't lie to me, Yor. Tell me the truth."
"There is no one else, Loid." She replied, her voice cracked due to her nervousness at the thought of them being so close to each other.
"Just tell me the truth." His breath tickled her skin and she felt that her body hairs rose. It brought heat to her and she could not understand to why his anger and frustrations could make her feel this way. "Look at me and tell me the truth. Is there someone else?"
She shook her head again, "No one."
"Tell me, Yor. I'm begging."
"There is no one else."
Loid somehow gave in by closing his eyes and his forehead rested gently on her own, causing her to close her eyes either. She got glued on the wall but she did not feel threatened at all.
"Yor..." He mumbled and she did not know if he was doing it on purpose, his breath was tickling her every nerve. He knew that she was encouraging the close connection as shown by the body language so he blew more air on her neck. "Can he do this to you? Can he make you feel this good?"
She shook her head as an answer so he intensified the gesture until she shivered.
"Can he make you feel this way?" His breath pursued the action and when he understood her cravings, his palm caressed her side frame. "How about this? Can he do this to you? Can he tease you the way I do?"
"T—There is no one else, Loid." She managed to answer despite the heavy breathings she was trying to control but she was failing. His eyes softened when he met her irises and she took it as an opportunity to assure him. "I don't know what made you think that I have someone else when in fact, aside from Yuri, I only have you and Anya."
His eyes landed on her lips and he was aware to how his body stopped from functioning at the sight. Her beauty drowned him and her presence became his weakness. Seeing those eyes? He felt guilty for thinking that she was capable to engage in an affair. Loid got suspicious of her before because of Yuri being part of the Secret Police but thinking that she was having an affair? He definitely crossed the line but to his defense, as a spy, he should be trusting no one.
But, apparently, his actions were saying otherwise.
It only took them a second to acknowledge the heavy tension because after the clock ticked, they were all over each other's skin. She managed to keep up with his energy as they both explored one another's taste without their palms missing a beat of every hill and valley.
Loid pinned her on the wall with her arms above her head, his right hand locking her wrists in place while their lips never stopped from getting used to the feeling and warmth they could offer. The edges of the mouth got swollen and red due to the intensity of the kissing and it would not be a surprise if the neck would earn a mark this early. He let go of her arms that wrapped around his neck immediately but he needed to cut the session short.
"Tell me to stop, Yor." He mumbled in between heavy breathings. She shook her head, telling him that she did not have the plans on stopping him. "Tell me to stop."
"I don't want to stop. I don't want you to stop."
He claimed her lips softly, different from the aggressive kisses they had earlier and she got to admit, it was still mindblowing.
"I have so little self-control left in me, Yor. If you're not going to stop me, I'm afraid that I can't stop myself anymore."
"Why? Are you going to hurt me?" Her soft eyes sought for his own so he met the lovely gaze. "You won't." She concluded for them as she started kissing the sides of his mouth until her lips showered his neck with tickling kisses that would definitely drain his self-control.
"Yor..."
She pursued kissing him that even though they both wanted the undescribable feeling that they were just discovering together, she stopped the kisses and cupped her cheeks.
"It's fine, Loid. It's fine." Yor assured him about the deed. "There is no other person, Loid. I only have you... And I'm saying yes..." She nodded to persuade. "I'm saying yes..."
The beatings of his heart gave him the right answer so he did not waste any time to show her how a husband should treat his wife with gentleness and passion but aggressive enough to ignite the flame in their nerves.
And yes, he believed her words. He believed her that slammed his suspicions about her having an affair as he told himself that it was a ridiculous idea anyway.
The kisses escalated into something hot and passionate that he ended up wrapping her legs around his frame until they both found the timing to go to her room and throw their naked bodies on her bed.
It was the right mixture of what was expected between a husband and wife or even more to what the words could not even define anymore. The moon and the stars gave the brightness for the loving session to pursue where the dimness of the room added to the passion of lovemaking, dancing to the beat they choreographed together.
And when they reached for the stars, she rested on her stomach while he threw his body beside her while watching the blank ceiling. They were both collecting the oxygen they needed since the sacred act drained their energies.
His bubble burst when he noticed that she was watching her with a charming smile on her face.
"What?" He whispered.
"Nothing..." She giggled lightly and he got to admit, it sounded like the angels. "I was just wondering to what gave you the assumptions. I only have you."
"Likewise. But I'm sorry..." Loid said despite her cheery attitude. He even rested on his side so he could stare at her deeply. "I'm sorry for having those thoughts."
"It's okay. I understand. You just want the best for the family. You just want to protect Anya. I couldn't blame you and if I were on your shoes, I would have done the same thing."
"Still, I'm sorry. All you did is to be the best mother to Anya and a wife to me but what I did in return? I apologize deeply. You don't deserve it."
"It's fine..." She smiled and cupped his cheek. "It's fine. But I'm curious. Please feed my curiosity." She giggled once again that Loid could not help but to steal a kiss that she cherished.
"Oh, sweetheart, you don't want to know." He chuckled.
"Why not? Was it something you noticed?"
"Definitely." He nodded. "Because you seemed more comfortable and confident about yourself. The way your hair was fixed, the shade of lisptick you used, the nail polish you chose, the way you carry your clothes, the perfume you used—"
"You noticed?" She interrupted, her doe and curious eyes found him.
"Y—Yes." He hesitated because of her reactions. "It was the little things, sweetheart."
"You did?"
"I did. It was about the body language and you seemed more happy. Then, my paranoia got fed because of your overtimes that I thought, it was just excuses. Even your time with your friends, I got suspicious. I'm sorry."
A small smile got painted on her lips as her index finger traced his jawline. "I can't believe that you actually noticed." She bit her bottom lip. "I didn't think that it would give you negative ideas but the changes were for you."
"For me?"
"For you to notice me." She confessed as she caressed his cheek to acknowledge his shock. "We have our own reasons for this marriage and one of them is protection. We want to protect ourselves... our loved ones... and I'm glad that you and I are in the same zone. But," She giggled to somehow hide her blushings. "I kinda asked my co-workers to how I could, you know... spice things up? I'm sorry this is so embarrassing."
"No. No..." He laughed with her and it was now his turn to caress her blushing cheek. "Tell me more."
"Uhm, so they told me some stuff." She pursued. "So I decided to change something in me, hoping that you would notice but instead of receiving the feedback I wanted, you became distant. They said that it was all about body language but maybe, I did it wrong?"
"No, baby. I just read it wrong." He gave in to a laugh again. "I just didn't think that you would try to do it for me. God... For me?"
She nodded as the exchange of smiles pursued. There was silence but the eyes remained talking as the skin contact gave them the warmth they needed.
"And I have a confession to make."
"What is it?" She asked curiously.
"About the, uhm, lingerie—"
"Oh God! You didn't see that!" Yor covered her red face while they both laughed. She revealed her face and shared, "Camilla got that for me because she misunderstood what I meant for spicing things up. They were all talking about sex but in my mind, you and I are not even doing it so why bother? But I didn't tell them that, of course. God... This is embarrassing."
Loid comforted her by showering her with kisses. The scene was just too adorable and they definitely craved for this kind of intimacy.
"It came with body jewelry."
"Body jewelry?"
"Yes..." She nodded with a chuckle. "Something to wear that would crawl a little above my breasts. A belly chain. And uhm, something along the thighs."
Loid's brain exploded and even though he was not trying to think of it, he already had a vision of her in the said outfit and God, he prayed, he had uncontrollable feelings for this lady already.
"I think, you should wear them now." He chuckled to tease her even more.
"What?"
"Wear it. We just did it, Yor. Don't put Camilla's efforts to waste."
"Loid!"
"What? It was just a suggestion!"
The dim room got filled with laughter once again and even the heavenly bodies smiled at the sight of the fake couple who was having the time to themselves, the deal to how they ended up in the situation was starting to blur.
It was just Loid and Yor who were enjoying one another's company after clearing the misunderstading that almost ruin their relationship.
She loved brushing his hair the way he was just watching her angelic beauty and he knew that he won't get used to the effect she was capable to give. He tried to catch and eat her fingers but she was so playful, ticklish enough for her to laugh at his little gestures and there, he got rewarded by beautiful, twinkling eyes that were smiling at him, causing his own heart to melt with unnamed emotion he was not aware of but certain that he wanted it in his system.
Tickling her and saying things to make her laugh, it was just his way to hear her happy and whether it was Twilight or Loid, whatever persona he used, all he could absorb was that, he wanted to cuddle this charming lady he wanted to be with him every second of the day.
