Your the elder brother of Jacob/Jake Portman, the first son, you, like Jake and your grandfather, are also peculiar, your 21 years old, you live with the other children but you had gone there with your grandpa due to your parents saying you were not mentally ok.
You have around three peculiarities, but you mainly have one your good at using, you can also see the Hollowsgasts like Jake, yet you don’t quite consider that a peculiarity, you also have the the peculiarity that your eyes change colours, which depends on your mood. (Your iris’) Your main peculiarity is that your body forms snakes from your skin, mainly legs and arms because they need a large structure to form from and you can control them because of your eyes. While you also controlling their movements but you cannot control it without sunglasses now although you were able to control them between the age 1-13 when you had started puberty you had slowly lost the ability to control it, and electricity. Which was another reason for your glasses, you have the ability to electrify anyone with your eyes by just looking at them. So that’s why they are tinted.
Your parents had gotten stress from this and found you abnormal, so when you were 17 you were sent somewhere you didn’t know, yet your grandpa did.

July 17th 2011
”I’m going to miss you..” a 11 year old Jake said, “I’m going to miss you too Jake, I promise I’ll call, I’ll send letters as much as I can” I said. I was going to so ‘Children’s home’ Grandpa would tell us about.
”Come on M/n, let’s go, we need to get to the ferry on time” Grandpa said, he hugged Jake and I did as well and we left the house, we walked to the car and then began to drive towards the place ferry’s are stored.
“I’m sorry” Grandpa said, “This isn’t the way I want you to meet them” he said keeping his eyes on the road, “It’s fine… I guess?” I said, I gently bit my lip, “I just never thought my parents would give me up so easily” I said, Grandpa sighed.
“Franklin would never give up on you so easily, it’s just complicated” Grandpa said, “Sleep, you’ll need it” he said, I hummed closing my eyes.
I dreamt, I dreamt that there was a group of people, a trio of elder looking teens, basically young adults, a duo of teens around the age 11-14, then a girl who looked around the age 9-12 and then at least four children. But there was a lady, she had dark blackish hair.
It was the children’s home, well some weren’t quite children but that didn’t bother me, the eldest boy, he was hot, smoking hot, he smiled, “M/n” he said, he had a Scottish accent, strong one too, it was even hotter, “M/n” he said again, he repeated it for a third time, “M/n!” He said starting to get annoyed, “M/n.” He said angrily, “M/N” he yelled.
I woke up, it was grandpa shaking me, “Jesus… thought I would’ve had to called the ambulance” he said, I chuckled, “Sorry” I said, “Well then, let’s go” he said.
We then began to leave to the ferry, “I just want to say this one thing” Grandpa said as we sat down, “When I leave, never. And I mean never, go out of the loop unless either something bad has happened or Miss Peregrine has told you to” grandpa said then facing me.
”Got it?” He said, I nodded, “Good, it can be dangerous around here, very, if your not careful” he says, “I also want to give you this” he said, he grabbed a small box and then a larger one, he handed me the smaller one, “Open it” he said, I opened it, it was a box of with a ring inside, I smiled.
”What’s this for?” I asked, “you’ll see, you’ll see soon..” he said then handed me the bigger box, “I wanted to give this to you on your birthday, but I cannot give to you on that day, so I will give it to you today” he said, “But please, don’t open it until your 21st in the loop” he said.
I smiled, I then hugged him, he hugged me back, “Thank you Grandpa” I said, he looked up, he pointed to a Peregrine Falcon, “look”, he said, I looked and smiled, “That could be Miss Peregrine” he said, I waved, so did he, “Hello Miss, we’ll… well Mały Ptak will be seeing you soon” Grandpa said.
I nodded, the ferry then slowly came to hault, we then stood up and began to walk off carrying our bags.
”Follow me, make sure. No-one and I mean no-one is with us” Grandpa said, I nodded, we then began to walk to a rocky part of the beach, he lead me through a cave and stopped, “They know that you are coming, but I may not come with you after that point,” he said.
he took a hold of my hand and walked with me through this thing, “Now, go up there through the cave and go past the forest and you will get to the home” he said, I turned to look at him, “But Grandpa…” I said, “It’s ok, just go, I’ll send letters” he said, I began to slowly walk to the exit of the cave, “Good bye M/n” he said, “Good bye..” I said and then he left.
He left… he left me here… I then began to walk out of the cave.
——————September 3rd 1943——————
it lead me to a trail, I then saw three people walking in the distance, I stared at them, they carried on walking until they got to me, “Hello, you must be M/n?” A girl said, she had blonde hair and light blue dress on with lead big shoes.
”Yes… I’m M/n Portman..” I said, “Well it’s lovely to meet you, I’m Emma” she said putting her hand out, I shook it, “That’s Millard and there is Olive” she then said, Millard, he had no body yet could still wear clothes, odd, although I knew all this stuff before from Grandpa’s stories.
There was Olive who waved, she had red fire like hair and she wore a rosy pink dress which had black flowers on, she also had black gloves on, Millard who had nodded had an old hat on, he wore a reddish jumper and creamy trousers.
I smiled, “It’s nice to meet you all as well” I said, “Well,” Emma said pulling out a pocket watch, “It’s almost 1, Miss Peregrine wants us to be back before 1:30” she then said Millard and Olive then turned around, “Okay” I said as I then readjusted my bag, I had two bags, “Let me take that for you M/n” Millard said taking my bag on my left shoulder.
“Ah thank you Millard” I said, we then began to walk in silence, “What’s it like in the future?” Olive asked, “Do you have floating things, Floating cars?!” She asked intrigued, I chuckled, the two then look at me intrigued as well, “Well… no… not really, but we have new telephones,” I said then taking out mine, the three gasped, “Woah… Miss Peregrine let’s us watch her use the phone, we’ve never seen one like this” Olive said.
I chuckled, “That’s it..” Emma said, she indicated to the building in-front of us, I put my phone away, “Welcome home M/n” Olive then said, we began to walk up to the house.
”Miss Peregrine will be happy to have you here” Emma said, we then walked up to the house, Miss Peregrine opened the door, “Right on time. It’s wonderful to finally meet you M/n!” She said smiling, “My grandpa has told me a lot about you all, it’s also very nice to meet you all finally” I said.
She let us in, I saw at least a few people in the hall, they were all between the age 5-10 though, maybe a little bit older. “Now, I bet you already now majority of us by now, but let me introduce you to them all” she said, “This is Fiona” Miss Peregrine said and Fiona came up to her and nodded, “Lovely to meet you M/n!” She said then ran off, the twins came next, “These are the twins” they just squealed.
“Well the others are outside” Miss Peregrine said, she then began to lead me outside, there was more children, I saw Emma and a boy, Millard and another boy, honestly I knew who they were.
”There, is Emma, that’s Enoch, then Bronwyn. Then with Millard there is Hugh there is Victor and Horace, with The Twins is Claire, that’s basically everyone” She said, “Supper is at 5, I’ll introduce you to everyone then” she said.
I smiled, “I’ll get Enoch to show you around the house once he’s done with Emma” she says, I nodded, “So, do you know your peculiar?” She asked, I nodded, “What is it then?” She asked, “Well, I can see the Hollows like my grandfather which I don’t really count as a peculiarity but I can also snakes movements without my glasses and sort of like Enoch I can control and create snakes, my iris is a snake iris and any breed of snakes can be formed as well and my eye colour changes on my mood and with my glasses I control electricity, but looking at anyone with no glasses” I said she looked at me shocked, “Four peculiarities!?” She exclaimed loudly yet not a yelling loud.
I notice the others then looking at me, I then nodded. “Wait four?!” Olive said, “yeah” I said, Enoch then walked over, “Ah Enoch, could you take M/n and show him around and take him to Abe’s room?” Miss Peregrine asked, “Ok” Enoch said.
Enoch is wearing an waist high trousers, they were a dark green and his shirt was a greyish green, he had dark hair and wore a loose tie.
I picked up my bags and then began to walk with him, “So… what’s your peculiarity?” I asked, “Dead-riser, I can rise the dead basically, I can use human hearts or humane hearts to rise things or unalive humans.” He said, I smiled, “I already know yours, you can control snakes with your eyes and you see Hollows and-” he said.
I froze, I never thought of it this way- sorta creepy, “You’ll probably fall in love with… Olive or Emma and then just leave like your grandfather did, so there is no use in becoming my friend” he said, I paused, “I…” I said before laughing, he looked at me confused, “You got that really wrong Enoch” I said smiling.
”I… like boys.?” I said smiling. I have no clue how I am so confident right now! I just carried on. His face paused, “I see” he said, “Well this is the entrance to the garden” Enoch then said leading me through the door.
”As you can see, here is the wall way leading to the kitchen, the parlour and the living room” he said, “Now, if you follow me we will get to the bedrooms, we all have our own bathrooms beside the twins, they have their own, Horace, Hugh and Millard have their own connected bathroom.” He said, I looked around, “At the end we have Victors room, he is more of the trouble maker around here so he is normally sent to his room” he said, I nodded not leaving eye contact with the door. “You coming or you just going stare at it?” Enoch said, I then jogged back up to him.
”So, what’s the like… scheduled here?” I asked, “Well, it’s a bit complicated, we start of by waking up around 6-9am and having breakfast at 10, we then have lunch at 12 as I guess you do, we then have supper at 5, latest at 5:30” he said, he then lead me to the attic.
“Now, we have your room, it use to be Abe’s room, I don’t quite expect you stay too long, decade or so… any longer… I might come around” Enoch said, “Well, can’t tell if your just being rude or you want me to stay” I said. I sat on the bed as he huffed, “As if.. but, stay as long as you wish, if your anything like me, I’m sure we will get along smoothly” he said.
I smiled, he then nodded, “Supper is in an hour so don’t be late” he said, I nodded back to him, he left the room. I then began to get changed for supper, I wore a long sleeved white shirt with a sleeveless jumper on top; black trousers.
