Kimi loves his talented, special, cheeky, loving nerd of a partner and hopefully soon to be husband. They're spending Christmas with the Vettel's and New Year with Kimis family lake house in Finland. Kimi is planning an early Christmas for the two of them and some of their friends.
Seb knows that something is going on but doesn't know what. Thankfully, mick came over and was able to distract him. Kimi had sent presents to his family already and got a few things that he thought sebs family would like, whilst they both went Christmas shopping for the rest. Kimi didn't particularly like shopping but he loved seeing his sebby wrapped up against the cold eyes shining at all the festive wares on sale at the Christmas Market he was also looking forward to having some of sebs special hot chocolate which they had been having more of since seb had retired.
During the last week kimi had been getting some food in a turkey and bacon along with pigs in blankets from sebs favourite butchers, made some korvapuusti for breakfast and got a whole load of party food even some vegan food. He had even learnt how to make glühwein from sebs dad. He even used some veg from the garden, and some of the leftover apples that seb had traded with the neighbours to make an apple strudel he had made it in Abu Dhabi and stuck it in the freezer.
He was also thankful that mick was in on the plan and was currently distracting seb in the garage, setting the World to Rights and seb calling the haas management idiots for not keeping him on.
A few hours later
when mick had left an hour ago he had been given instructions by kimi to bring everyone back in an hour and a half but mick and Britta had decided two hours would be better especially when seb was involved. Seb walked into the kitchen , looked at the food that kimi had put out for the party, and was impressed with how good it looked and how well he had decorated,
"Whats this in aid of " seb wonders as he goes over to his partner
"Bwoah .. wanted to do something special for you, so .. You know made some food. I wanted to show how much I love you and support your decision to retire and want to do something special for a while. "
Seb knew that kimi was nervous about something by the way he was rambling; he just smiled and let Kimi carry on.
"This food looks delicious but far too much for the both of us kimi"
"Bwoh come with me I want to show you something " Kimi took seb by the hand and led seb over to a box on the dining room table
"open it please"
Seb opened the box and inside was a black forest cake with a note attached in Kimi hand writing, seb lookes at kimi puzzled read the note says kimi. Sebastian started to read the note and started crying;
my dearest seb, I love you to the moon and back and support you in everything that you do, you have brought something to my life that I can't explain, you make me laugh like no one else can , bwoah you make me feel whole ♥️ I am not that good with words like you.
Will you do me the honor of becoming my husband? ♡♡
Seb looked at kimi with tears rolling down his face and saw kimi down on one knee with a ring In his hand looking really hopeful and nervous at the same time.
"Yes I will marry you kimi "
Kimi smiled and put the ring on sebs finger, and pulled him into a hug and wiped away the tears on his face kimi knew he was happy because he was smiling.
"I have another surprise for you but we need to go and get our Christmas outfit on upstairs "
"OK I'll wash my face at the same time"
When they went and seb went to wash his face kimi sent a message to Britta and Mick saying that they could let everyone in quickly and quietly. twenty minutes later both of them came down stairs to a chorus of 'surprise' and ' merry Christmas ' seb was shocked
Kimi spoke up
"Thanks for coming to this Christmas come retirement come engagement suprise party for me, earlyer I asked seb to marry me and he said yes."
At this point everyone cheers and someone who sounded like lance said finally everyone started laughing and saying congratulations to them both .
A little while later mick proposed a toast, and an early present for seb
"To seb and kimi the best mentors come freinds come uncles any one could have and to toto who's just signed me to be Mercedes reserve driver from next year"
Everyone cheers and says congrats to all three mick ends up in a seb and kimi sandwich and well if everyone has a hangover the next day they had been to a party organised by kimi.
The next day
"uugghh where is that knocking coming from " seb moaned into kimis sholder with an almighty hangover kimi sat them up and handed him some painkillers and a glass of water and leaned back against the headboard
Kimi made sure they were covered up and said come in mick came in giggling and said
"Antti just proposed to Britta and said yes and apparently he's been promoted to head of motersport at hinsta. Although it looks like Britta may need a gallon of coffee to wake up. oh lance was wanting to talk to you about something and looks like he proposed to lando last night"
