Summary:

Kyle Broflovski, a teen boy volunteering for work at his fathers job in a science lab. The crew had been working on a way that population can grow without the works of pregnancy. As impossible as it may seem, they put Kyle to use to figure out of how to make the project work but in the process.Although, he manages to make something or someone that he wants to keep for himself.

Chapter 1: Creation

Chapter Text

-Kyle's POV
It's a Saturday morning. I have to go to my fathers work just for an extra change since I was fired from 7/11 for yelling at a few customers became of their damn kids. Although it wasn't my fault I was still let off because of the complaints. My father works in the lab a couple miles away. They mainly work on vaccinations and causes for climate change but due to the change in government laws they now tend to work on other matters. In that case it's population growth. They plan to make a way that people would have to have children yet the country would go low on people if that makes any sense. It's like saying, 'we're going to thrown a bunch of rocks out a spaceship until it forms into a planet that can support life like Earth does' see. But as stupid as it sounds I'll give it a try.

They say it'll help me later on in college which is the most bs that I've heard in a week. My thoughts clear up about the situation to just give in. I get dressed to head to downstairs where my father waits on the couch for me. "Kyle, we're a little late so we'll have to go now" He says getting up grabbing his keys and I follow behind him out the door. We get in the car while he starts it up. "So dad, what is the point of the project?" I ask. "So basically, due to the population decrease in the last 6 to 7 months, we have to do something to maintain it. Adults here in South Park really have no interest in having more kids, which I don't blame but it really making an effect on the town it's self." My father explains. "Well, I'd really except people to be moving in and out so what's up with that?" I sigh. "Well, South Park is a mountain town in Colorado and people are more interested in living in big cities like Denver, no big real-estate here either and as small as the this place may be and the population count, it's still crowded." He shakes his head.

He's right, if I were anyone outside of Colorado, I wouldn't just say 'Hey! Let's move to South Park' it's no big attraction here. Everyone knows everyone, crimes are made left to right without any punishment. But it's not like the police are gonna do anything. I'm surprised I even have an education. People say I'm smart for my age and depending on the people I'm friends with, it doesn't seem true. Kenny is not that bright but he has some sense. Cartman on the other hand just doesn't care one bit, he gonna end up roaming the streets homeless by the age 18. We are 16 at the moment and have no idea what the future has to hold. I plan on moving out the town to attend a college of choice after Hugh school. I have no relationship to maintain so not a struggle for me. No one really catches my eye. Not one girl, or not a guy now that I think of it. Ending up like Craig and Tweek, dating since 4th grade sounds like nice but I've never been as close to someone as the two.

We pull into the large parking lot of the one story building. The front sign reads 'New Winds National Laboratory' This place hold the crew of engineers and scientists such as my dad. There past projects were successful as of what I've heard. They're very intelligent. I walk in the building with my dad. Pillars scatter around the marble floors. Men and Women at stations dressed in white communicate beyond the area. I look around through the wide spread area. Cacophony fills the entire building later on becoming slightly annoying. My father guides me through the stations of test tubes and large machines. We head into a room. It's filled with equipment. "Here Kyle, put this on" My father catches my attention, handing me a coat and goggles. A slide them on as he does the same.

I put my personal belongings like my phone in a cub-board when more adults enter the room. A man comes and shakes my hand, he welcomes me to the lab and thanks me for my will to volunteer. "This is the guy in charge of the project, he's going to guide you and show you how things work" my dad tells me as he walks out of the room. "So Kyle follow me" the man asks and we go in opposite directions. We enter a room with tubes reaching to the floor up to the high held rooms. Tanks of who knows what stand amongst endless shelves against squared pillars. "This is where the processing takes place, here, we do things like testing and experimenting." He points to identical stations as of outside. "This tank here contains of NO ₂, or in other words a industrial synthesis of nitric acid which could have a deadly impact on humans if inhaled" he points to the tank filled with brownly colored gas. These people have to be kidding me, why do they have toxic gas in a glass tank that can can easily brake with even one tap on it?? He blabbers on to we finally get to the reason that on here for. "Here we are. This is where you will be assisting. Your father told me a lot about you and how intelligent you are and I begged him to bring you in for this project." He says with joy. I mean, this place seems quite dangers with all the toxic gases and many other deadly things so why ask a 16 yr to come and work with it.

The guy un-covers a large capsule. There it stands, a human like figure who looks around the state of age as me. Skin as pale as paper I'd have to mention. He's naked, that's what I want to ignore at the moment as embarrassing as it is to see. "The is K1201B, I artificial human like boy that we have been working on developing. As you know the main point of this scientific project is to create a human just like me a you but without the need of eggs and sperm. We needed someone with a more of creative knowledge to figure a way of this being to function." He tells me. I analyze it, it looks like a regular, natural born human as if they just stepped right in the capsule. "Okay, sure I'll see what I can do. I've been studying quite a lot on things like this so it won't be as hard I suppose" I give him a reassurance. "Thank you very much Kyle, I appreciate this. Let me show you the tools so you can get started" He tells me spinning around at the counter.

Some time passes, I had figured out something. A human embryo, known as a cell grown in a lab. Kind of what this is. I used most of the resources that the workers had contained around the station and mixed something up to a gasses liquid that looked like a sort of green gasses vapor. I opened the capsule that contained the being. It felt like some kind of weird mad scientist zitcom role that I was taking. I made my way up to it mouths and pored the liquid in. Like I was feeding some type of child. I poured until all was left was the scent of the used to be liquid contained in the tube. I decided to go and find the man that guided me to this place, though I never got his name.

A couple mins of searching he was no where in sight so I just decided to go back and wait a little and keep an eye on the being. The door slid before me stepping into the room. Though. The capsule was wide open. I recalled myself leaving it closed. I scurry to see the being. Its skin was no more of pale but tanned. More of its features had color. "Hello" I said. It's not like it'll answer though I was quite wrong in the statement. The beings eyes shot open. I stumble back almost busting my ass. He deep blues stare into my soul like I had something to hide. "Uhm.. hello?" I say hesitate. "Hello." He whispered to me. He can speak- something I wouldn't expect since he just started to function or his brain to fully develop. "Are they here?" He asks me. "Who? Who are you talking about" I stand to my feet giving him my attention. "Those scientists guys, they wanna teach me to kill people, overhear them at closing times" he says still whispering. "Wait, so you've been functioning this whole time??" He nods. Well, I hope whatever I gave him didn't affect him in a way. He's beautiful as it is if I have to say so myself.

Dark hair, blue eyes, tall height and don't get me started on- okay that enough. "How would you like it if I take you back home with me?" I ask. I have no plan of how I'm even gonna get him outta this place without even notice OR even bring him home. "I'd like that" he smiles. "Okay but I'll have to figure a way to even get from the us room without a worker noticing. Seeing the fact that this man is naked, plus no one has even seen him except me and the guy. Though the closet full of lab coats an equipment could do us some good. I open if it grabbing a pair of each and handing it ti him. "Idk if you're advanced enough to even bout on clothes but if you need help it's not a big deal." I assure him and he slides them on. I hear walking these the door. "Shit, dude get in the closet!" I whisper yelled. I shut the door behind him. "Kyle! How did it go" the man asks curios. "Well sir, it failed, idk what happened but the being just started crumbling. And no matter what I tried it just started misting awayyy..." I lied. " oh jeez, well it was worth a try."

How about I tell your father and you can make your way home since it aroundddd, 9pm" he smiled worriedly checking his watch. The fact that it had been hours since I had first arrived made me wonder how long I was at it. I heard a loud thud in the closet. We look that way. "What was that" He asks "OH UM, h-how about I check that out and you see about my father hum?" I say quickly. "Thanks, see you in a second" He says leaving. I fling open the closet to check on the boy. He had fell against the door with a force I had figured since he was sprawled against the floor. I helped him up as we exited the room running into my father. "Hey Kyle, uh who's this?" He eyes him. "Ohh, this is um. Stan! Yeah Stan. He's here on a visit and just needed a ride home. I know him from school." I tell him. "Oh okay, well I can drop him off at his home the way back" father offers. "Well actually, I was hoping he can stay over a couple days?" My father thinks but gives in.

The three off us arrive home. I bring him to my room and lock the door. "Okay! So let's get something straight" We sit across from each other on my bed. "Your name is Stan. Stan...Marsh" I convince him. "If anyone asks where you're from just say Denver alright?" He nods yes. "Your going to be staying here for a while till we work something out for you, just don't want you to go back to that lab or for anyone to find out about you being from there. I get up and walk to my dresser. I open it digging for a pair of jeans and a random shirt. "You wear this for the time being, tomorrow morning we can just go get your own so you won't look weird." I hand it him and turn around so he can get dressed. Seems easy now but later on will be different. Can't wait to see what holds for tomorrow.
