Jk came back early from his business trip, he did not say anything to Jin.
He was away for a month due to a training he needed to complete for work.
He wanted to surprise Jin.
He opened the door to their house. All lights were turned off. Slowly walking in and paying attention to any sounds, but it was very quiet.
Turned on the lights. He went to the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom but no one was home. It was 7:30 pm, usually Jin would be home at 6:00pm.
He decided to take a shower and get comfy, putting pijamas on. Suddenly felt hungry, went to the kitchen started cooking. After cooking he waited a moment to see if Jin arrived so they could have dinner together. Food was starting to get cold and decided not to wait anymore and just accompany him when he got there. He finished eating, washed de dishes put them away, and nothing of Jin. Seated at the table he looked at his phone it was already 10:30pm. JK started to worry, when he decided to call Jin he heard noises coming from the front door. He heard Jin talking, it seemed he was struggling with the door lock.
Jin got invited to a birthday get-together after work to celebrate a coworker's birthday. Since it was Friday and he had weekends off he decided to go eat something have a couple of drinks and go home early but opposite to what he had planned he was drunk and struggling to open the door "Stop moving. ¿Why ... why are you like this? Pretty door please be nice." After 2 minutes he was able to unlock and open the door. "Thank you" he said to the door. Once he closed it. He stayed still "¿Why are the lights on? ¿Did I turn them on?" Confused he shook his head started walking with difficulty towards the kitchen to drink some water since he felt thirsty. When he suddenly sees Jungkook. He kept still and kept staring at him. "Ooohhh... I am really drunk. I am hallucinating " and he starts to chuckle and continues walking unsteady.
Jungkook thought he was surprising Jin, he was about to say 'surprise yeobo' but Jungkook was left with his mouth open when he heard Jin. "Hyung how drunk are you? I am really here" Jin in disbelief kept walking to get water. "Ongu-ah Hyung misses you" Jungkook smiling approaches Jin "Yeobo It really is me you are not hallucinating, I wanted to surprise you." and hugs him from behind, kissing his right cheek. "Oh, wow you feel so real, what was on those cocktails" Jungkook couldn't help laughing silently, placing his face behind Jin's neck. "Ongu-ah ¿are you making fun of Hyung? Wow the disrespect." Jin thought even this hallucination is a brat. Jungkook responded "Sorry Hyung. You are so silly and cute. I can't even help laughing. Yeobo I missed you too. I hurried and finished the training early so we could have the weekend to ourselves. Wow you are really really drunk. You're going to have quite a headache tomorrow. Come on drink your water I'll help you get in bed." Once Jin drank the glass of water they went to their bedroom. Jungkook did not want to make more conversation he'll just wait tomorrow for Jin to explain.
When Jin sat on their bed Jungkook helped him undress untying his shoes first. Jin just kept looking at him still not believing it was really Jk. Jin reached out to his phone and felt sad when he didn't see and missed calls or messages from Jungkook. "¿Ongu-ah do you not love hyung anymore?" Jungkook looked at him and responded "¿What? ¿Why would you say that hyung?" Jin replied "Since you are not real, I will say this. These last 3 days you have barely spoken to me, you are always hurrying not talking to me that much, sounding busy when I call you. You didn't answer my call today. ¿Did you meet someone? ¿Am I not enough or too much?" Jin turned his eyes down and looked thoughtful. Jungkook felt his heart constrict. He got up and sat down beside Jin. "Hyung, I love you. I am sorry if you felt like I was dismissing you. It was never my intention. I just wanted to come home to you sooner and hurried with the training..." Jungkook felt his throat tighten and was about to start crying and instead hugged Jin tight inhaled deep and exhaled loudly kissing him on his temple, jaw, cheek to control himself and kept repeating "I love you Jin, I love you, I love you so much" Jin reacting to Jungkook's words "Ongu-ah, hyung is sorry." Turned to look at Jungkook and kissed his forehead and his nose "Sometimes I have these dumb thoughts. Hopefully tomorrow will talk" and started to get up and headed for the bathroom. Jungkook just stayed sat for a moment and then got up following Jin. Jin was washing his face. Jungkook stayed leaned on the door. Jin started unbuttoning his shirt. "Ooohh please stop moving" Jk smiled "Let me help you Hyung". Jungkook brought his good day pajamas and Jin shook his head "no no I've been bad today" Jk smiled "ok, let me get your bad day pajamas then" Jungkook shook the sad thoughts away, he would speak with Jin tomorrow. Hopefully all is just a misunderstanding. When he was in front of Jin helping to button up the shirt for the bad day pj's after the last button he placed his arms around Jin's neck and kissed him just pecks to his lips. Jin hugged his waist and leaned his forehead on Jk's. "I love you Jungkookie" Jk smiled "¡I love you Yeobo! Come on let's sleep" Once in bed all tucked in. Jin was fast asleep. Jungkook cuddles Jin.
The next morning. Jin woke up to a really bad headache. He was grateful the room was dark. Thankful for them blackout curtains. He groaned into his pillow. Sweared he would never drink again. He needed to pee, so reluctantly he started getting up and sat on his side of the bed. When he saw a pain reliever and a glass of water on his nightstand. Muddled by it just decided to grab it and swallow with a few sips of water. Reached out to his phone to see what time it was regretting it later due to the brightness of the screen. Saw it was 11am. After peeing he went to brush his teeth and gargling mouthwash to see if it helped with the nausea and distaste in his mouth. He headed to the kitchen.
Jungkook heard the flush of the toilet. He knew Jin was up. Started warming up the hangover soup (Hae Jang Guk) and waited in the kitchen for Jin.
When Jin headed to the kitchen he was whimpering. He just was asking himself ¿Why? ¿why? did he drink that much. "¿Jimin what did you put in those drinks? Hyung is never trusting you ever again" Then he thought to scold Jimin for the mix of cocktails he gave him. It was all Jimin's fault. He was taken out of his thoughts when he saw Jungkook standing near the stove. With a shocked expression, blinking and rubbing his eyes. Jungkook spoke first "!Surprise Babe¡ Yes it really is me." Jungkook couldn’t help smiling at Jins skeptic face.
Jin was stunned and for a moment his hangover symptoms were gone. He walked to Jungkook and hugged him tight. "¡You're really here!" Jin stepped back and grabbed Jk's face and kissed him and hugged him again. "Hyung missed you a lot Jungkookie. ¿When did you get here? I thought you were coming next Thursday. ¿Did I miss your call or text?" Jin was looking for his phone but remembered he left it at his nightstand. Jin asked Jk since he thought he had mistaken the day or date of Jk's arrival. But then his headache returned he grabbed his head and said "I'm sorry Jungkookie, hyung is not feeling well"
Jungkook smiled and spoke "I know hyung. Calm down. I'll explain. Sit down. I made you hangover soup." Jin was walking in direction to the table was about to sit, when he suddenly remembered a few things about last night. "Wait. ¿Jungkookie did you get here yesterday? I thought I was hallucinating ¿Was it really you? the pain killers and the water" Jk interrupted Jin "Hyung Relax. Here have some soup it will help you feel better. Here is some rice and kimchi. Now eat. We will talk later. ¿Ok?" Jin responded "ok". Jungkook couldn't help sitting on Jin's left side and lean in placing kisses on Jin's shoulder. Jin closed the distance for Jk to place a kiss on his lips. Jk smiled and did so. Jin tried feeding Jungkook. Jungkook nodded "I already had breakfast".
Jungkook stared at Jin which so much love in his eyes. When Jin finished he was getting up to wash the dishes, but Jk insisted in doing it. "¡Thank you love!".
They went to the living room. Sat down on their couch getting comfortable and cuddled. Jungkook explained why he got home yesterday. Jk didnt miss the look in Jin's eyes feeling guilty. Jungkook with his hands cupped Jin's face and placed them eye level. "Hyung I love you! I adore you! I dont want you to ever doubt my love for you." Jin looked at him "I know baby. I was just feeling a little lonely. Sorry if I made you feel sad or worried. Yesterday it was Yoongi's birthday. It was just a small group of friends. You know Yoongi. He doesnt like big bash parties. Everyone was with their significant other and I felt sad. I was missing you. Missing those gorgeous eyes of yours, that beautiful nose" -bopping his nose- "those delicious lips of yours" -placing a peck on them-. "Missing that cute bunny smile of yours... Please forgive me if I made you feel bad or that I don't feel loved by you. Because I do. Your eyes definitely tell and your actions more" Jin pulled him closer and kissed him on the lips and then placed his head on Jk's shoulder snuggling under his chin and placing kisses on his neck. "I love you bun".
"¡I love you hyung! Your forgiven. And please forgive me if I made you feel..." Jin placed a finger on his lips. "No baby you dont have to apologize. I understand now. I do. Lets turn the page. It was a misunderstanding. I love the fact that we were able to express our feelings and clarify the situation." Jk nodded "Ok. I love you never forget" placing a kiss on his forehead.
"Hyung what did Jimin hyung do? You said earlier you would never trust him again." Jin groaned just reminded of it. "He was bartending. He said he had worked as a bartender for a few months earlier in his days. Most likely they let go of him." Jk chuckled "I have should have known when I saw Hoba's sulking face after two drinks."Jk started laughing. Jin couldn't help laughing just remembering Hoseok's thoughtless serious face. "Aaahhh Jungkookie don't make hyung laugh. It hurts"
They spend the weekend at home. Cuddling. Wrapped in each other’s arms. Cherishing every moment spent together. Getting lost in showing their love for each other.
