“And could you change your mind?” the alpha asked.
“No.” said the omega, then faltered, “I don't know.”
What was happening? What was Harry talking about?
He feels his breath hitch, nerves increase as his heart rate does the same, a bad feeling settles in his chest and fear runs through his veins.
He has an idea where this conversation is headed, which only makes things worse.
“Lou, you know how much I care about you.” Harry paused. “But if we don’t think alike… this doesn’t make sense anymore.”
‘I care about you.’
The words echo in his head, the end is drawing near and he only says ‘I care about you.’
What the actual fuck is going on?!
He heard his heart break, his head spin and his ears ring persistently.
His vision blurred and there, under the beautiful moonlight with icy wind blowing against his skin, he understood there was nothing else to do.
