Work Text:
“You use lemons?!”
Percy jolted, dropping a few lemons as he stared at the shocked — and horrified? — expression of Leo. “Uh-yeah? It’s lemonade,” he said, putting the lemons in the sink.
”Is that where you get the expression ‘when life gives you lemons’?” Leo asked.
”Are…you okay?” Percy asked.
”No! You use-use limón, not lemons!” Leo said. “Or is this a culture thing? Cause I think it is.”
”Uh-what’s going on?”
Leo groaned in frustration and Percy watched as he stomped away, gathering his own ingredients while muttering about ‘americanos’ before pushing him out of the kitchen. “I’ll bring out the limonada in a little bit! Don’t come in!” Percy jolted as the door was slammed on him, staring at it.
… what just happened?
