Netflix Series ‘Goat Cult’ Casts Villain
One of Netflix’s newest original series, thus far untitled but affectionately referred to as ‘Goat Cult’ by fans, announces its most recent casting decision. Although early reports claimed that Tristan McLean might be chosen to play the cult leader, the role has instead gone to fellow superstar Robert Downey Jr.
When asked his thoughts on the casting decision, McLean claimed to have been offered the part. “I turned it down for my daughter,” he explained to our reporter during the interview. “You’ve heard what people are calling it, right?”
When asked if he was referring to the title ‘Goat Cult,’ McLean laughed. “No, that’s what some people call it, but I’m talking about the other name. When this project was first announced, it immediately started trending on Twitter as #ThatJacksonRipoff. My daughter is good friends with Percy Jackson, as I’m sure everyone is well aware by now, and I couldn’t betray her trust by taking on a role that would exploit her friend’s experiences.”

Tristan McLean’s Daughter: Trapped in a Cult?

Several months ago, a group of amateur sleuths on Twitter began to piece together one of the greatest mysteries of our time: what happened to Percy Jackson? Through a series of shocking revelations (see previous articles for details), these sleuths have discovered the involvement of celebrities such as Rachel Dare, Piper McLean, and even (possibly) the long-missing Thalia and Jason Grace. Several people, including the aforementioned Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Piper McLean, have taken to Twitter to confirm their involvement in this mystery. But what exactly is the answer to the #ThatJacksonKid mystery?
One theory that has been presented is that Percy Jackson, as well as the teens involved, is a member of a cult. This could explain many of the strange occurrences in Percy’s past, such as his time spent missing in 2014 or his rumored involvement in the 2010 explosion at the St Louis Arch. Furthermore, Rachel Dare has publically corrected people on twitter, claiming that they prefer the word “commune” over “cult.” While she appeared to be joking, is it possible that there was some truth to her words?
