Summary:

Haru, shh... Sir, I seriously have a good reason to be bere. Please, just let me in," Shouyou begged. His eyes went back and forth between the security and the trembling baby in his arms. "Shit, I'm here to see my husband, goddamnit!"

"Husband? Who?" the guy asked.

"Saku—"

"Shou? Haru?"

Just a fic about how people found out that Sakusa Kiyoomi, the leader of the famous band, Black Jackals, is married and has a kid.

Notes:

This au is inspired by the new side story of the webtoon Love Is An Illusion. The one where Hyesung brought Byul to the cafe where Dojin had his photoshoot. It's just so cute, so I decided to make one for Omihina.

Enjoyy!

Work Text:

Shouyou was scrolling through his twitter when he stumbled upon a post from Japan Daily.

Japan Daily  @japandaily

[HOT🔥] Japan's no.1 band, Black Jackals, were seen having a photoshoot at Haikyuu Cafe.

"Haikyuu Cafe... that's nearby," Shouyou whispered underneath his breath. A smile appeared on his face when a sudden idea pop into his mind. He looked to the 10-months-old baby besides him. "Haru, wanna go see dada?"

Haru looked up at him. "Dada?"

"Yes, dada. Let's go see him."

The baby's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Dada! Dada!" he exclaimed while happily clapping his small, chubby hands. "Dada!"

"Haha, you're very excited. Then, let's get ready," he said and picked up the baby, carrying him into his room to get changed. He placed the baby in his crib then went to his closet. "Hmm, what should we wear today?"

He continues to rummage through the baby's closet, trying to find nice clothes for him to wear. He thought of letting him wear the panda onesie, but then he remembered that the onesie was still in the laundry basket, waiting to be washed. In the end, he picked out a piece of white shirt and a pair of beige shorts. He also grabbed the brown beanie from the closet and finally went back to dress the baby up.

"Look at you, my cute lil baby," he cooed, showering the baby's face with kisses, his heart felt full as he listened to Haru's giggles. "I can't believe I gave birth to a cute son like you. Now then, let me go get changed then we'll leave."

"Of course..." Shouyou sighed as he reads the Do Not Enter  notice on the cafe's door. "What should I do?"

"Dada..."

"Yes, Haru, dada's here. But, we can't enter, dear. What should we do, then?" he asked, tucking Haru's hair behind his ear.

Haru looked up at him. "Da..."

Shouyou's heart clenched seeing the hopeful look on his son's face. He bit his bottom lip. "You know what? Let's just enter. Who knows, luck could be on our side. Then, hang on tight, buddy. We're going inside no matter what," he said, holding Haru closer to his chest before pushing the door open. "Whew... we're in. Now—"

"Excuse me, you're not allowed inside here. Please, go out," a tall, buff guy said. He's wearing a black shirt with a SECURITY label written on them.

Ugh, security, he thought and looked back at the intimidating guard. "Look here, sir. I have my reason to be here. I'm looking for someone—"

"Sir, I don't care who you're meeting or what your reason is to be here. What important is that you can't be here, so I have to ask you to leave."

"But, sir—"

"I'm going to count to three. If you're still here, I have no choice but to get you out with force. One..."

"No, wait, sir. I— Haru, no, don't cry," he said when he saw the tears welling up in his son's eyes.

"Dada..."

"Two..."

"Haru, shh... Sir, I seriously have a good reason to be bere. Please, just let me in," Shouyou begged. His eyes went back and forth between the security and the trembling baby in his arms. "Shit, I'm here to see my husband, goddamnit!"

"Husband? Who?" the guy asked.

"Saku—"

"Shou? Haru?" someone called.

Everyone turned to look at the caller and was surprised to see Sakusa Kiyoomi. The guy got up from his seat and made his way towards the entrance.

"What brings you here?" the taller asked.

"I just wanna see you working, that's all. Since this cafe is just nearby our house, I thought why not come and visit you?" Shouyou explained. "Also, Haru misses you..."

"Shou..." Kiyoomi's gaze then move to their baby in Shouyou's arms. He frowned when he saw the dried tears on his chubby cheeks. "Why is he crying?" he questioned then remembered that there's another person with Shouyou before. He turned to the guard and raised an eyebrow at him. "What's going on here?"

"Sir, I didn't know that he's your partner. I simply thought that he's some crazy fan and so, I asked him to leave. I'm sorry for everything," the guard explained and bowed, apologising.

Kiyoomi sighed. "Fine, you can go," he said then looked back at Shouyou. "You should've let me know beforehand. You wouldn't have to go through security if they knew earlier that you're coming to visit."

"Yeah, sorry."

"Dada..." Haru quietly called, his eyes not blinking as he looked up at Kiyoomi.

Kiyoomi smiled and leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss on the baby's forehead. "You missed dada, huh? I missed you too, Haru," he whispered, booping his small nose, chuckling when Haru started giggling cutely.

"Omi-kun, you're married?!"

The couple looked to the side and found Atsumu, the band's guitarist and Koutarou, the drummer, looking at them with wide eyes.

"And you have a baby?!" Koutarou gasped then pouted. "Why didn't you tell me? He's so cute! Hey, what's his name?"

"Kou-kun, knowing the baby's name is not important right now," Atsumu deadpanned, pulling the drummer when he tried to approach the baby. "Omi-kun, since when?"

"Last year," Kiyoomi answered truthfully.

"Last year?! You have 12 moths to tell us, but you said nothing! The betrayal!"

"Yeah, he's right!" Koutarou agreed, still pouting.

Kiyoomi rolled his eyes at his friends' overdramatic-ness. He wrapped an arm around Shouyou's shoulder then pulled him away. "Let's go, it's no use wasting your time on these idiots," he said, ignoring the fake cries by his two bandmates.

Shouyou chuckled. "Your bandmates are so funny."

"More like, they're annoying," Kiyoomi replied.

Shouyou laughed when the fake cries became louder. Dorks.

"Nice," the cameraman praised as he took Kiyoomi's pictures. "Love what you're doing right now..."

Shouyou was too focused on watching Kiyoomi that he didn't realised the two guys standing besides him.

"Hey, so you're his partner, huh?" Atsumu asked. "What's your name? I'm sure you already know us, right? I'm Miya Atsumu and this one here is Bokuto Koutarou."

Shouyou nodded. "I know you guys," he answered then bowed. "I'm Sakusa Shouyou and this is our baby, Haru. He's 10-months-old."

"I bet you're the one who chose the name Haru," says Atsumu.

"Eh? How'd you know?"

Atsumu smirked. "Figures."

"Well, knowing Omi-omi, he's very bad at coming up with names. Before we decided on Black Jackals, Omi-omi suggested that we name our band as Orca," Koutarou explained.

"There's also Pirates," Atsumu added.

"They're all related to ocean," Shouyou pointed out. "I see his obsession with the ocean has always been there."

"Yeah, you're right. Thankfully, he agreed on Black Jackals. It was kinda hard to please that guy. He shot down almost all our suggestions," Atsumu complained.

"Haha, that's so him," Shouyou agreed. "Who came up with Black Jackals, then?" he asked.

"Me! I came up with it!" Koutarou said, waving his hand around happily. "It's good, right?"

Shouyou smiled. "Yeah, it's good."

"Well, better than Orca or Pirates," Atsumu said and shivered. "I can't imagine us introducing ourselves as those. Like, 'Hello, we're the Orca' or 'Hello, we're the Pirates' ... that's a nightmare."

"Anyway, can I call you Shouyou?" Koutarou asked. "In return, you can call me Koutarou!"

"Yeah, I'm fine with that, Koutarou-san."

"Then, I'll call you Shou-chan," Atsumu said.

"Huh? O-okay?" Shouyou turned his attention back to his husband. He watched as he changed his poses each seconds and it's a lie if he said he's not impressed. "Amazing..."

"What happened to that guy? He's different today," says Koutarou.

"Could be because his partner's here," Atsumu reasoned out.

"If that's the case, maybe you should come visit us often, Shouyou," says the drummer.

"No, I don't want to trouble you guys."

"What trouble? It's actually the opposite. Look at his smile," says Atsumu. "If it's other days, it's very hard to see him smiling that sweetly at the camera. He even got nicknamed as Iron Wall  because he rarely smiled during photoshoot."

"One of the reason why he was called in to shoot for Calvin Klein's underwears because he fits the vibe," states Koutarou.

"Calvin Kl— what?"

The two looked at Shouyou.

"Yeah, he did photoshoot for underwear. You didn't know?"

Shouyou shook his head.

"Here, it's this," says Atsumu, showing him a picture. "This was taken last month."

Shouyou gulped when he saw the picture. Who is this guy? Is he my Kiyoomi? Haru's dad?

"Hmm, looking at him here, I guess I know how he got you preg— OUCH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Koutarou screamed when Kiyoomi smacked the back of his head.

"For being an idiot. Now, go away. Stop bothering someone else's partner and find your own. This one's mine," says Kiyoomi, glaring at the two.

"Tch, bastard," the two said and left.

"You did an underwear photoshoot before?" Shouyou asked, looking curiously at Kiyoomi.

Kiyoomi blinked once and twice, then sighed. "Those idiots must've told you," he mumbled and nodded. "Yeah, I did. Actually, I was forced to do it. I didn't knew about the photoshoot until hours before the schedule. It was Koutarou and Atsumu's idea to sign me up for that photoshoot."

"You should do it more."

"What?"

"You look hot."

Kiyoomi chuckled and pinched his cheeks. "Why bother looking at a picture when you have me?"

Shouyou's face flushed red. "Pervert!"

"That's all for today's shoot!" the cameraman announced and everyone started to pack their things.

Kiyoomi got up from his seat and took off his padding jacket. "Wait here, I'm going to go get changed first," he stated. He patted Shouyou's head before leaving to the changing room at the back of the cafe.

Shouyou averted his attention to the baby sitting in the baby chair. Haru was busy nibbling on his banana and he looked super cute that Shouyou couldn't resist the temptation of pinching his bunch-up cheeks.

"Shouyou-kun, was it?" someone called, taking a seat opposite from him.

Shouyou nodded. "Yes, I am. And you are?"

"Oh, I'm their manager," the guy said and offered him a handshake. "Akaashi Keiji."

So, this is the rumoured pretty manager, Akaashi Keiji, Shouyou thought. "Nice to meet you, Akaashi-san. Thank you for looking after Kiyoomi. I hope you can continue to look after him in the future. I also hope we can get along well."

"Haru's really cute," Akaashi complimented. "Actually, I already know about you two. He told me about you guys because I accidentally saw Haru on his lock screen. I asked him about it and he told me the whole thing. Since then, he kept on showing off you guys to me whenever he has the chance."

Shouyou laughed. "He's whipped for his own son, I tell you. He's also like that when we have a family dinner at his parents house. He kept on telling them how cute Haru is."

"What are you guys talking about?" Kiyoomi asked, sitting back beside Shouyou. "Oh, this is Akaashi Keiji, our manager."

"Yeah, I've introduced myself already," says Akaashi then got up. "Well, I better leave now before Bokuto-san comes out of that changing room. If he's looking for me, just say I have an urgent matter to attend," he said then left.

"Bokuto-san?" Shouyou asked, looking curiously at the taller.

"Oh, well, Akaashi and Koutarou are dating," Kiyoomi explained.

"Ah, I see."

"Now, shall we go?" Kiyoomi asked and got up. "Come on, buddy. Let's get you something to eat, yeah?" he said, carrying Haru in his arms then looked back at Shouyou. "Are you fine with pizza?"

"Sure."

Kiyoomi smiled and held Shouyou's hand. "Let's go, then."
