Summary:
In 1955, James Buchanan Barnes (a.k.a. The Fist of Hydra, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier) breaks his programming and burns Hydra to the ground…or so he thinks. He then travels the world, offering his services to any country that requires his skills.
It’s 1962 and Britain’s MI6 sends James to Jamaica to investigate the activities of the mysterious Dr. No, the main suspect in the sabotage of recent U.S. space launches. James arrives in Kingston, and after several attempts are made on his life, he makes his way to No’s private island, Crab Key, which is rigorously patrolled by an armed security force. There James encounters the free-spirited shell-hunter Stevie Rogers…
Orphaned at the age of 14, tiny Stevie Rogers had to fend for himself after a brutal assault left him traumatized and alone on the streets of Kingston. By selling his father’s rare shell collection, Stevie manages to obtain a used sailboat and snorkeling gear in order to become a shell-hunter. A growth-spurt at 16 and the daily exertion of free-diving transformed him, but 7 years later he still remains alone and distrustful of people. On one of his many expeditions around Crab Key, Stevie meets a man with long dark hair, storm-blue eyes and a metal arm…

Sketch and re-imagined script excerpt were inspired by the unforgettable scenes from the 1958 novel and 1962 film “Dr. No” when Secret Agent 007 James Bond first meets the beautiful, independent and innocently naïve Honey Ryder.
In this AU, set in the early 1960’s, James “Bucky” Barnes steps into the role of Bond (though not a 00 Agent) and Steve Rogers is a male version of Honey.
Please note the rape is very briefly implied in the script. No graphic descriptions.
