Chapter 1: A Dance Among Soon-To-Be Bride

Miorine Rembran, daughter to the richest tycoon of the century, sat alone at her assigned table. A champagne glass in hand, she gulped down its bubble substance as she placed her empty glass next to the others. Her boredom immeasurable as she glanced at her watch to see if this charity event was almost over. Groaning as she collected another drink when it was discovered it had only been an hour.

She surveyed the crowd for her would-be fiancé, a brute with no intelligence but next in line to inherit Jeturk Mobile Vehicles Manufacturing Empire. It would make him rich enough in her father’s eyes to join their families together, much to Miorine’s disapproval. Sigh at the tragedy that is her life, Miorine spotted Guel Jeturk laughing obnoxiously with his friends. What they found funny didn’t matter to Miorine as she skimmed the crowd for allies to pass the time with.

Her eyes making contact with Shaddiq Zenelli, who gave her a smooth grin before waving her over. She rejected his invite as she looked for someone else to bug before she saw her.

Another woman who seemed to also share the same fate as her. The other was much dark than her own complexion, her hair a fiery red a contrast to her cold blue eyes. She sat alone further near the back, her hands cupping what seemed to be apple juice as she made herself smaller by hunching over her cup. Her eyes darting every once and while up towards the dance floor. Miorine followed her gaze to Elan Ceres, the son of world renown award winning doctors, who was dancing and flirting away with other single women at the event.

The whole thing seemed to parallel her own story, but much more pathetically. The display sickened Miorine as she gulped the remaining glass and marched her way to the unknown woman, “Hey!” She was a bit tipsy. Thanks to her liquid courage, Miorine felt she could talk and do whatever she wanted especially if she was being forced to do whatever her father said, “What are you doing?”

The other jumped at Miorine’s sudden arrival. Her back straightening as she recognized the heiress, “Miss Miorine! I-It’s an honor-“ she didn’t get to finish as Miorine slammed her palm on her table.

“Forget about me! What are you doing slugging so badly over here!”

“Excuse me?”

“A pretty woman like yourself shouldn’t be wasting away in this corner!”

“Huh?!”

“If that jerk Ceres doesn’t value you enough to take you out on the dance floor then I will,” Miorine grabbed her hand and tugged her up, “Come on! Let’s show these guys what they’re missing out on.”

“B-But I can’t dance! Miss Miorine!!” The other screeched as they made their way to the dance floor.

Normally Miorine would never entertain such an action, but she was far gone thanks to the alcohol. Instead anger and rebellion lead her to do what she did. Taking the others hands and swinging them around as they made a giant scene. Other dancers made way for them, while others stared at the bazar duo. Miorine closed her eyes and instead enjoyed the music jazzing around them, meanwhile her companion looked frantically all around her. Hating every second that all eyes were on them as she tried her best to ignore and awkwardly dance by placing her arms close to her chest, her fist held shoulder width apart as she shook them like maracas.

“What an interesting dance,” Shaddiq cut in, his groupies trailing behind him with curiosity, “Mind if I cut in?” He looked to the redhead who nodded all too readily to leave the dance floor.

But Miorine didn’t want to talk to him, “You’re ruining our night,” she hooked her arm around the others, “Let’s go!” and once again the redhead was dragged to another place.

“The nerve of that guy!” Miorine huffed and puffed as she punched the air.

The duo had taken a stroll through the gardens of the estate hosting the charity for orphaned children in some far away country Miorine couldn’t remember. The grounds were empty due to the chilly night as only a few other guests were seen taking a small break around the greens.

They had walked far enough to where they wouldn’t be bothered as Miorine continued to box the air as if she could hurt every man who had wronged her this way. The other nervously tried to calm her down, “I-It’s not like he’s a bad guy,” she tried but shrieked herself into silence when Miorine throw her a glare.

“Like you would know!” She growled. Her despair winning over and wanting to overshare with this shy woman, “That jackass in there, he’s the reason why I’m even engaged to Guel Jerk!”

“He is?”

Miorine nodded, suddenly the tears pouring out, “It was suppose to be him!” She groaned as she punched the space in front of her some more, “He was supposed to be my fiancé, he was suppose to agree, he was suppose to make me believe that life isn’t filled with tragedy!” She frantically wiped the tears away before glaring at the other, “I swear if you say or speak about this to anyone, I’ll kill you.”

The redhead held up her arms, “Your secret is safe with me!” she added as Miorine turned to face away from her. The buzz vanishing along with the what little fun she did enjoy.

“I must look so pathetic to you,” she whispered, seeming to calm down, but her shoulders were shaking, “The great Miorine Rembran, the woman who has everything, has whatever her heart desires expect for happiness.”

“I don’t think your pathetic,” The other’s voice low and comforting, “I think its normal to want happiness.”

“Of course, you do,” Miorine couldn’t let herself be comforted.

“And what’s so wrong about wanting happiness?”

“Everything.”

The redhead didn’t know what to do. She hadn’t planning on comforting Miorine Rembran as one of the things to check off for tonight. Shifting her weight from one foot to another, she thought about what she could do. Her heart being too kind to just leave her all alone after everything that happened.

“What do you want to do?”

“I want to leave.”

“The party? You can do that??”

“No,” Miorine chuckled a bit. Defeat in her voice as she prepared herself to deal with this oversharing disaster, “It’s fine. Thanks for listening to me rant,” she had finally composed herself enough to rejoin the crowd, “I’ll see you around and remember I’ll end you if you mention this to anyone.”

It was fine. Miorine told herself. This night wouldn’t hurt her, nor could this unnamed woman ever threaten her. She was safe even if she did feel drained by the exposure. Giving her famous Rembran smile, Miorine started back the way they came when she felt a strong hand on her bicep. Forced to met this strangers determined eyes, Miorine felt her breath hitch as they held one another’s stare.

“I’ll take you somewhere.”

“What?” Miorine was caught off guard by the sudden declaration, “I don’t even know you.”

“My name is Suletta Mercury.”

“Where will we go?”

“Anywhere.”

“Why?”

“Because I can’t ignore those troubled feelings,” Suletta was visible sadden by Miorine’s confession. A pity invite Miorine wasn’t interested in taking, but Suletta wouldn’t budge, “Please.”

“What about your date?”

“Who?”

“Elan Ceres, won’t he worry if your gone?”

“Huh?” Suletta thought before she bashfully corrected the accusation, “Oh no! I’m not with him!”

“Then why were you staring at him?”

“I wasn’t!” Suletta panicked, not sure if she should say what she was actually doing, “I was looking at someone else!” she corrected none the less.

“Who?” Miorine thought back as to who it could be, but Suletta laughed them into the next topic.

“If you want to rejoin the party I won’t stop you,” Suletta placed her hands behind her back, “But if you want, I can give you a little escape. Consider it a gift from one lonely girl to another.”

Miorine was no longer buzzed. At this point the only thing keeping her honest towards this woman was the fact that she had overshared her feelings and that Suletta just had this air around her that made her feel safe. Thinking over her options, Miorine accepted.

How on earth did she get here? Miorine thought as she sat on top of Suletta. Mouth gapping and turning against Suletta’s as she held her close with her arms wrapped around the redhead’s neck. They sat in the back seat of Suletta’s vehicle, parked in some empty lot within a forest conservation plot.

Their drive had been relaxing and did positively wonders for Miorine’s mind as she felt free riding shotgun to Suletta’s seat. They parked here because Suletta thought nature could help the other reground herself from all the emotional trauma she had let spilled. The redhead moving to the back seat to find some book that she was willing to lend to Miorine when the silver haired woman had an idea.

“M-Miorine,” Suletta objected, but the other wouldn’t let them separate.

Whether either of them knew the extent of the consequences that awaited them, suddenly it didn’t matter. To feel someone’s warmth, to feel needed and lusted over made both of them ignore the wrongness of the whole situation.

Suletta’s hands touching Miorine’s side as she slowly moved them towards her back zipper. Miorine shivered as she allowed her dress to loosen and fall revealing her breast to the redhead. Suletta took a pink nipple in her mouth moving forward in her eagerness causing Miorine to hit her head against the roof of the car.

“Ow! Watch it!”

Suletta couldn’t stop anymore. All shyness escaped her as she moved Miorine onto the backseat. Using it as a mattress as she laid on top of Miorine, her lips finding her breast again as she sucked and bit the soft bundle. Miorine gripped Suletta close, her gasp acting as approval as Suletta’s palm ran up her leg. Pushing her dress upwards to reveal her stockings before those too were removed along side her well chosen underwear.

This was quick, no love or tenderness was needed as they sought in each other temporary validation. Suletta kissed every part of Miorine’s skin that she could reach as her fingers stroked and teased Miorine’s bud and slit. The other moaning, begging Suletta to give her some release as the redhead claimed her lips once again. Only when Miorine needed a breath did Suletta finally enter her.

Miorine gasped. Losing Suletta’s mouth as she squinted at the roof of the car. Her hips moving with Suletta’s rhythm as tears fell from the corner of her eyes. The other busy nipping her neck and whispering sweet artificial compliments as Miorine raked her nails against the back of Suletta’s dress. She was close.

They both could sense it as Miorine tightened her hold on Suletta’s fingers. Her thighs gripping Suletta close, her hands digging into the other as Miorine moaned her climax. Suletta held her, taking it all in as she let Miorine use her body as a buoy to her waves of pleasure.

Panting, they stared at one another. Not believing that they really did it. It seemed they were both surprised even though they were the key players to this orchestra.

“I,” Suletta began. Her heart beating fast as she took in all of Miorine’s dishevel look.

Miorine did the same, except she was disappointed to see none of Suletta’s private features. Nothing could be done about that as they were interrupted by Miorine’s cell phone ring. Their time was over as reality hit.
