Suisei laid there in her bed, moving and tussling around every minute or two.
“Mikochi…” She mumbled in her sleep.
After some more moving around, her partner, Sakura Miko finally woke up, feeling agitated.
‘Geez, what’s up with her?!? She’s been moving a lot!!’ Miko screamed internally
Then she noticed, a tear forming in Suisei’s closed eyes. This gained a reaction from Miko, panic instantly washing over her.
“H-Hey, Sui-chan? Wake up” She nudged her partner by the shoulders to wake her up, but to no avail, Suisei kept mumbling her name and tears kept rolling down her eyes.
“Sui-chan, hey, wake up…Sui-chan?” Miko shook her shoulders harshly. This seemed to wake Suisei up.
“AHH!” Suisei screamed.
Miko jumped from the sudden shriek of fear, but her face immediately shows a look of concern.
“Are you okay, honey?” Miko embraced her.
Suisei didn’t respond, but she returned the hug.
“Did you have a bad dream, Sui-chan?” She asked, and Suisei nodded.
“Y-Yeah… Someone had…” It didn’t take long for Suisei to stop herself and sobbed into Miko’s arms.
Miko patted her girlfriend in the back, whispering phrases such as; ‘It’s okay, I’m here.’ every now and then.
Suisei’s cries didn’t stop, but she soon calmed down and began to speak.
“Somebody had…entered the building without permission a-and started to shoot…He-He shot you, I was so afraid… I thought you died…” She spoke as more tears ran down her face.
Miko hugs Suisei even tighter as Suisei started to break down again.
“Don’t worry, I won’t leave you.”
“You promise...?” Suisei asked
“I promise.” Miko whispered.
After some time, Suisei started to feel tired. Not after that, she had fallen asleep in Miko’s arms.
“Sleep well, Sui-chan.”
