Chapter Text
That's Not Ironic / One Convoluted Move / But He Could Also Turn It Into Cake / Now Imagine What'll Happen
Sketch: So now we're forced to work together. How ironic.
Vio: That's not ironic! Ironic would be if we had to work together to hurt each other.
Past Ganon: I think it would be ironic if instead of Bellum possessing that guy, that guy possessed Bellum!
Onox: I think it would be ironic if, instead of edges, our weapons were coated in a healing salve that cured all wounds!
Zant: I think it would be ironic if we were all made of iron!

Twilight Ganondorf: Alright, we all agree that while the current situation is not totally ironic, the fact that we now have to work together is odd in an unexpected way that goes against our usual circumstances. Is everybody happy with that!?

Demise: It was then that I saw a way to undo all the unbearable agony inflicted upon me in one convoluted move... called time travel.

Mask, severely sleep-deprived: Way I see it, yes, Skull Kid has a magic mask with which he can pull the moon out of the sky. But he's also clearly the wildcard of my enemies! I mean, he gave me three days for basically no reason, who knows what he'll do next! Sure, he could destroy the world. But he could also turn it into cake. Or fire. But I figure there's more kinds of cake than fire, so the odds are actually in my favor.

Gen: So, Lore, enlighten us. How can a plan that makes no sense work?
Lore: One simple reason: It makes too little sense to fail.
Gen: What.
Lore: Most plans are critically flawed by their own logic. A failure at any step will ruin anything after it. That's just basic cause and effect. It's easy for a good plan to fall apart. Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic can not be stopped. The success or failure of any given step has no effect at the macro level.
Gen: That's so stupid I can't even see straight anymore.
Lore: Now imagine what'll happen when physics tries to figure it out!
Gen: Seriously, this hurts.
