Leaving a Family (and Finding Two More.)

Summary:

Jake didnt even apply to this school, how he got a all expense scholarship he will probably never know. But he goes, its better to go into the unknown than face what is at home.
However this unkown is more than he thought it be, this isnt a normal school, the students all have powers and unbeknownst to Jake some of said students could be really great friends.

Chapter 1: A new beginning

I've been thinking about making this for a while now and I finally decided to just do it, but I can't make promises for consistent updates. The first part of this will focus on jake and the audience getting to know enhypen and them getting together as a freind group. It will also start showing some of their backgrounds. Eventually skz will start to show up in small parts, u plan on make the bigger interactions where the two groups get to know each other in a second book.
And if I stop procrastinating a third book explain how skz formed.

The plane finally landed and couldnt wait to get off, waiting for him was a new school. It was full of opportunities to learn, explore, make freinds, and.... get away from home.
Anyway! He was sooo exited and of course scared but that will wither in time right? To be honest hes not sure how he got accepted into such a prestigious school for free, especially since he never sent in an aplication. As he walks closer to the school he stares in awe of the beautiful structer. He had to check multiple times that this was the right school and that his acceptance wasnt some cruel joke.
It was huge and amazing. He felt like he wouldnt be able to live up to it, couldnt help but feel this opportunity was wasted on him, that he doesn't deserve this. What if others think that too, what if being here starts to be how it is home, what if he hurt others, what if he cant get his issues in control. Suddenly going to a school full of unknown variables starts to seep in, his anxiety is on high and hes scared he is going to regret being so quick to accept just to leave where he was.

"Hey you ok?"

While stuck in his head Jake forgot people could see him, but he responds with a; "yeah I'm ok" because how else are you supposed to answer that question?

"Ok you just looked spaced out for a second. My name is Heesung, whats yours?"

"Im jak- im Jeayun"

I am now going to give more world building context becuase I didn't know where else to put my awareness.

This is a super power au but majority of people do not have Powers. You can only get powers if at least one of your parents has an ability. Each power is given at different times but is almost always in a time span of from 10-20 years old.

The parent with a power can pass down the chance of having ability but their children do not have the same ability. Every power is unique and is said to represent one of three things; your personality, something that makes up for what you need before, or how good of a person you are determined the power level.
