Chapter Text
Nothing, that’s all there is around you.
And you mean Nothing, there’s no black or white, or anything! Just an indescribable nothingness that permeates your very surroundings.
You don’t know how long you drifted in the nothingness, was it hours? Days? Weeks? You would never know.
Eventually the monotony of nothingness was broken by a curious thing, Two…. Entities is all you can describe them as. One a flowing free Light, the other a rigid all consuming Darkness.
These parallels begin to inch towards each other, bit by bit before your very eyes, closet and closer until…
They collide, with a magnitude you’ve never experienced before. Your very Atoms vibrate for what seems like ages, until they are finished and all that is left is
[ ] A pink flower, tall stem and proud.
[ ] A blue flower, strong and hearty
[ ] A purple flower, both blue and pink yet neither at the same time.
You reach out and tentatively touch it, and you gasp as a feeling of right goes through your being. Everything starts to spin as you feel a tug in your gut as you are taken to a Foreign land.
‘Well’ you think, ‘Into the great Unknown we go.’
And then all you can see is a blue Sky

The clear blue sky above you signals to you that you are no longer in the Empty, you are somewhere new.
You slowly stand up and begin to look around. You seem to be in a run-down urban hellscape. Trash and litter abound with what you recognize as gang signs, a stylized ‘E88’ is on your left and your right is a simple ‘ABB’. It seems… familiar, but at the same time different.
You shrug, no use dwelling on that now, it’s time to get your bearings. You walk around for a bit, wandering aimlessly, trying to find someplace to look for yourself. Not a single state is drawn at your ratty T-shirt and pants. As if it was normal to see a grimy teenager here.
After a few minutes, you notice your surroundings get cleaner, less gang signs and more businesses around you. You must be getting closer to the upper class area, you realize. You decide to explore here for a while, your attire now drawing stares.
Eventually you find a gas station with a bored teenager, around your age actually, manning the desk, tapping away on his phone. You enter and walk up to the front, asking for a washroom key if they have one.
He lazily flips you the key while reciting what sounds like a corporate mandated speech on how ‘Thieves will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.’ You nod once he’s done his spiel and enter the bathroom. As you look at yourself in the mirror, you gasp as you see something you don’t recognize, your face.
You have been changed wholly and fully, unrecognizable from your past self. And with it something peculiar. As you stare harder and harder into your eyes, a headache begins to grow and worsen for each seconds pass, until it’s eventually unbearable. But you keep staring because you know something is wrong. Eventually, memories begin to appear in your mind, memories of another person, another thing, and it wasn’t human.
Soon the headache becomes brain-shattering, and you hold on a scream as memories flood in, and soon enough, it stops, and you come to a realization as you whisper a single name
[ ] Aethon
[ ] Oryx
[ ] Nezerac
[ ] Rhulk
[ ] Riven
[ ] The Sanctified Mind
